Her temporary partner skillfully disposed of the second skeleton, earning a point in her favor from Ivy. Her eyes moved to follow the suits of armor next, her feet cautiously rooted to the floor.

A suit of armor... if nothing was inside, would a stab to the back change anything? It might be worth the attempt. She stepped to the side, all but fading into the shadows. Deftly, she moved through spots unilluminated by torches.

Right before her goal, she felt a hand on her arm and a sickly sweet scent overwhelm her senses. Ivy jerked away from it. Her analytical gaze found the pink fingers that had snaked out of the painting just before they disappeared back inside of it, and an idea came to mind.

Darting behind the closest hostile armor, she jabbed a dagger into a gap between two pieces of caramel. It didn't react to anything until the hilt tapped against the armor, and then it froze and began to turn toward her.

Nothing inside after all. Well, Plan B wasn't too difficult: as it rotated, she kicked out hard against its side, causing it to stumble directly into the painting Ivy disturbed before. Pink arms embraced the armor, working to drag it in as it struggled.

One down, or at least temporarily removed from the equation. The next turned toward her, putting its back to the owl warrior.

"There's nothing organic in them to harm," she warned her collaborator, careful to keep her attention entirely on the second suit.

"Noted."

Now's the time to put her axe-throwing skills to the test. She leans back, then chucks her candy corn axe right at the second skeleton's skull.

It explodes in a burst of sharp, sugary shrapnel. Engle makes a move to retrieve her axe from the wall, but the noise has alerted the suits of caramel armor, who creak to life and brandish their swords.

The suits move slowly, but they're heading their way. Engle stands back so she has room to move. They have their weapons and dwarf her in size, so she either needs to find an opening, or hope that her partner can make one of her own.

okay hear me out. i was looking at the milestone skins and i thought of this so i hope you people see my vision too

so i hc that c00lkidd is a drakobloxxer. and since those are probably very unusual/endangered/simply hard to find in Roblox, it would be really hard to properly raise one. I think 007n7 genuinely tried to raise the kidd and did manage to succeed to an extent, it’s just that drakobloxxers have different social behaviors and instincts than Robloxians do.

examples may include:

- maybe drakobloxxers are less social and don’t handle large gatherings of people well because it triggers a hunting/defensive response.

- since drakobloxxers are significantly larger than Robloxians, c00lkidd could have easily been as tall as 007n7 at age 10. Who knows if they age differently - if we take the T. Rex itself as an example, the oldest one we know of is barely pushing 30 and would have likely been near adult size by age 15.

- I hc that drakobloxxers are partially burrowing animals [explaining their massive claws] and that’s why c00lkidd loved to eat dirt - it’s natural for them to snack on that, especially as nutrient-hungry children.

>- i also hc another use of the claws is display, as drakobloxxers will spread their arms and flex their claws as a form of anger/showing off in a fight-or-flight situation, usually with another drakobloxxer.

- facial expressions might be different. A great example of this irl is how humans use smiling and eye contact as a form of friendliness/expected behaviors when interacting with someone, but gorillas [and many, many other primates] would rip you to shreds if you did either.

I might add onto this later because I have Many Thoughts on drakobloxxers [I’ve been hyperfixated on dinosaurs for like a decade now and this is the bridge between that and roblox] but yeah. I think c00lkidd’s fate was out of n7’s control to some extent. Both in Roblox and reality, you can’t force something to act ‘human’ or practice your beliefs suddenly when they were doing something else for centuries and have it magically work out.

and as a final thing, I want to circle back to the ‘Drakobloxxers are hard to come by’ thing. That could potentially be why he disappeared, if we wanna chuck some more angst in here.

You were lying flat on your stomach in Kenma's room, with Yachi sitting on the edge of his bed beside you. Both of you were usually phone users when it comes to playing games on Roblox. It was much easier to control, you had claimed. Well, to be honest, it was rather more like you hadn't had enough money to be buying a whole PC gaming set up like Kenma...or Lev...who used his to play Minecraft. "Which mode are we playing? Classic Squads?" You asked Kenma, your fingers flying across your phone screen as you click on his Roblox avatar to join the public Bedwars server he had joined into. It's pretty common for him to play on public Roblox servers, especially with us. Or else he would complain that it would be too boring. You think that it was just a mere excuse though. Kenma's probably not the type to want to afford getting private servers on casual games that he would play on his stream once in a while, like Roblox. "Nah. We're playing Duels." Kenma replies you back sarcastically, clearly mocking you, making you scoff slightly in annoyance. "As if. We're playing with Kuroo's friend group. I'm not that dumb." It falls to a moment of silence after your response, the silence making you almost uncomfortable as you clear your throat slightly. Yachi is humming to the music she's hearing from one of her earbuds inserted into one ear. It's a common practice for her to listen to music and game at the same time. She says it relieves her gaming stress. It's a lie though. You know that. She still gets stressed while listening to music and gaming. The only thing the music does is to ease her overthinking thoughts to help her be less panicked than usual. Lev is probably busy hopping and climbing around the Bedwars lobby, exploring the way everything was created in the game like a little kid. He always does that, for every single game he has played. Game graphics had always appealed to him. Kenma...he is probably just blatantly ignoring all of your presences and waiting for Kuroo and his friends to hop onto the server. Usually, this type of silence wouldn't have irritated you as much. After all your friend group was pretty much made up of introverts, other than Lev. Yet, something about it bothered you particularly today. It was like you were anticipating a sparkly and bright presence among y'all.

"Have you started your stream yet, Kenma?" Yachi finally perks up, her eyes glancing towards Kenma, who sat in front of his computer, eyes glued on the screen. "Yeah, I did." He replies back dryly, his eyes not even leaving his screen for a second as he speaks to Yachi. "Hey Chat!" Lev finally speaks up as he leans over to peer at Kenma's screen, a silly smile on his face as he looks into the camera to greet the chat. You laugh slightly as you watch Lev interact with the chat, his face still holding the small silly smile. You can't help but want to join in the fun as well, putting down your phone onto the bed before you walk towards Kenma and Lev. @.ris: OMG YN HII!! @.ilovekodzuken: I knew it I heard yn's voice! You smile slightly as soon as you greet the responses in the chat, Kenma's fans as bubbly and enthusiastic as ever as soon as they catch a glimpse of you. "Your fans still love me a lot huh, Kenma..." You tease slightly as you nudge Kenma by his side, earning a small sound of what seemed like a mixture of a grumble and scoff. @.idontknowwhattonamemyself: Is Yachi joining the stream today as well? @.ris: OMG Yachi!! I miss her frfr You stifle a small amused laugh as soon as Yachi's name pops up on the live chat as well. Throwing Yachi a soft amused look, you wave her over while talking to the chat. "Oh..Don't y'all fret...Yachi is in the stream today as well!" Seeing that Yachi makes no move to stand up and come over to greet the chat, you decide to poke a little fun at her. "But she's a bit too shy to come and greet y'all..." As expected, she immediately responds to your remark, her hands dropping her phone on the bed as she rushes over, ready to attack you for teasing her. "Seriously yn? I'm not shy-!" She exclaims as she tackles you back in front of the camera, making you laugh slightly. "Okay! I'm sorry! You're not shy!" You exclaim quickly as you stumble slightly, almost losing your balance and falling over but your right foot quickly moves back to support yourself. @.ris: OH YEAH! The gang is back tgt <3 @.ilovekodzuken: reall...I love their interactions sm. You smile slightly as you read the live chat comments silently again. Although the people who usually commented under Kenma's stream was no doubt Kenma's fans, sometimes they felt like your own fans as well. Perhaps they were even fans of your whole entire friend group, ever since the first time Kenma brought each and every of y'all into his streams. "Did you tell them we have other special guests today?" Yachi asks, turning her attention towards the live chat as well. You could tell her eyes were scanning the live chat briefly, smiling slightly as she reads certain comments. "No. They'll figure out themselves shortly." Kenma responds after a brief pause as he minimises his Roblox tab to take a look at his messages, probably checking if there was any updates from Kuroo. You can't help but sneak a few peeks at his text exchange as soon as his messages tab comes into view.

"Wait- How about let's just wait a bit longer for them?" You blurt out, unable to hold back your tongue fast enough, as soon as Kenma hits the send button. "What?" Kenma asks, his head turned around slightly to meet your gaze, which seemed almost as equally surprised as he was. That was weird. In fact, it seemed almost out of the ordinary for you to stop Kenma from doing something. You would have usually let him do whatever. Delay the stream? Sure. Start the stream early? Sure. You were always the type of person to follow his words when it came to playing on his stream. Partly because you weren't the one managing his stream, but rather he was. Yet, today you actually opposed him starting without Bokuto. "I mean...your decision seems to be putting Kuroo at a rough spot..I figured it would be better if we just waited for them..." You quickly responded back, your mouth throwing out the fastest excuse you could possibly think of right now. "Yeah, whatever. I was planning to anyway." Kenma replies you dryly, turning his head back to his computer as he types a quick message back to Kuroo. You can't help but feel a wave of heat hit your cheeks at Kenma's response, your heart pounding slightly as you turn away from the stream and hit straight back to Kenma's bed. That was stupid. You think silently to yourself as you make a dive onto his bed, burying your slightly flushed face in the duvet, your hands reaching slowly for your phone. Of course Kenma would wait for them...Why did you even have to say anything? That was lowkey embarrassing... Your head continues to nag silently at yourself as you finally grasp onto your phone, bringing your eyes to the screen of your Roblox avatar standing completely still in the Bedwars lobby. You let your finger fidget mindlessly with the thumb stick, making your avatar spin in circles for a moment as you continue to daze out slightly.

"Okay, so how are we going to delegate the tasks?" You ask as soon as the round of Bedwars has started. As per usual, Kenma's avatar seems to be moving strategically, showing that he had his own ideas and strategy in his head. While, Lev and Yachi's avatars seemed to move randomly, perhaps still adjusting to the map. "I don't see the need to delegate tasks. Why not do our own thing?" Kenma replies casually, his eyes still hyper focused on his screen as he speaks, making you scoff slightly in annoyance. "But things would be more organized if we actually delegated tasks to each of us. Like for instance, we could have Lev collect the iron and what not." You respond logically, speaking your mind without hesitation, only to be met by the usual stone cold Kenma. To him, communication seemed ultimately quite unnecessary, even in teamwork games, especially when everyone had a mind of their own. "I'm on stream. Kuroo can hear whatever we're saying right now." He finally responds, after a long pause, making you roll your eyes slightly before you shoot back at him with a simple response. "Then mute your mic." "I can't. That would defy the point of streaming." Your silly argument only ended after a rich and snide sounding laugh could be heard from the other end of the stream. "Kenma has a point, you know, yn." You immediately recognized the voice to be Kuroo, who seemed to have been overhearing you and Kenma's whole conversation, as he had pointed out before. "Plus, isn't this argument just serving a distraction to y'all? Sounds like my opportunity to attack your base..." He responds, the teasing tone in his voice is undeniable, making you furrow your eyebrows slightly as you turn your attention back to your phone screen, looking out for any possible incoming attacks. "Don't tease her, silly. Weren't you the one who begged me to make a peace treaty that none of us would attack each other's base until everyone else in the server is cleared?" As soon as you hear Kenma's words and Kuroo's rich laugh coming from the stream again, you feel your shoulders slump slightly. So that was just a mere tease to make me drop the argument with Kenma? "Heh. exposed me, didn't you?" Kuroo responds, before clearing his throat and continuing, "That was just to make y'all drop y'alls pointless argument. Come help me attack Green's bed instead."

Kenma, Yn, Yachi and Lev ended up winning against them despite how Lev was somewhat lost mid-battle was because Bokuto kept dying in the hands of yn (which made her really happy -- because she felt aura boosted when she could kill someone)

Bokuto just couldn't help but feel the need to feed yn's joy (especially after that silly argument she had with Kenma that probably made her feel upset that she couldn't get her point across)

I wish I could cover this more in detail but I couldn't wrap my head around how to so...:')

Throughout the game, Lev was actually the one who kept camping at their base and collecting the iron, diamonds, emeralds and what not.

Yn and Kenma had to keep pestering Lev to throw some out of his inventory so that they could buy items from the store (also because Lev was not using what he collected wisely)

He was simply upgrading all his armour and swords to emerald tier and then accidentally dropping down and losing whatever he bought) He also bought a lot of balloons (only to not know how to use them properly -- which is so me btw)

Yachi got a hang of the game after a while (However she wasn't that good at fighting others so she was mainly sneaking up to bases and destroying their beds while Yn did the fighting)

I used to love playing Roblox Bedwars so much (so planning all this in my head was actually so fun) but I actually really suck irl (like I probably wld be Lev more than Yn)

Maybe nobody actually gives a fuck, but I have a lot of SEES members playing Roblox Dress to Impress headcanons that i need to share with the world before I EXPLODe.

Anyway here are my headcanons. (ft. pics of me and bestie playing DTI. I love playing with all my friends and doing persona outfits hehehe)

Makoto:

Makoto is good at this game, despite never playing and not having any interest in fashion.

He's super competitive and into this game but doesn't show it. He simply dresses to impress :3

Ends up on the podium almost every round

Somehow all his outfits manage to look really emo. He'd probably excel at the alternative and darker themes

*deadpan voice*: "ate, bestie."

"Joined late, sorry" *has the best outfit in the match

Yukari:

Dress to Impress is the only video game she's ever been interested in

would argue with 10 year olds in the game for funsies

Always votes Junpei one star. Bullies him for not having VIP

Super supportive of everyone else though, and is always giving compliments, even if she knows she's winning.

Her outfits are SUPER pretty and she ends up on the podium a lot. She's that one person that when you see them, you immediately know you flopped.

Skirts for every single outfit.

Her and Fuuka duo a bunch.

As well as her and Makoto who end up looking like polar opposites (he was punk, she did ballet, what more can I say?)

Junpei:

Tries waaay too hard but gets in last place every single time. Somehow he's still shocked every time he gets last place

Junpei's outfits would be good in theory, but the lack of matching colors, basic styling, or knowledge of the game's mechanics hold him back.

He also tries putting his own "Junpei charm" into his outfits which makes it all fall apart. No that top hat and sneakers don't go with that long frilly dress

Gets jealous of how good Makoto is doing so tries to copy him as well.

If Junpei actually places, he'd never shut up about it.

I feel like Fuuka would be the one to duo with Junpei. She'd try her best to help him without being bossy. She's just like "Oh that...um, looks...very you, Junpei-kun. Maybe try heels instead?"

Akihiko:

He isn't too interested at all, until he finds out about the game's competitiveness. Suddenly he's wants to play

Would start off really bad, but he'd eventually, start making pretty good outfits (According to the dancing games, he has some interest in fashion and at least tries). He wouldn't be on the podium all the time, like Yukari, but he'd often be in the higher ranks, or even 3rd place, for sure.

Cannot style dresses for the life of him

I feel like if Akihiko & Makoto teamed up, they'd be in first place immediately.

Akihiko gets SUPER in the zone during dress to impress and takes it WAY too seriously. More seriously than everyone else.

Does not pose during the runway part for some fucking reason. His character is always the one just standing there ���‍♂️and it's so awkward.

Doesn't understand Dress to impress slang. Yukari: "omg ateeee" Aki: "ate?? Ate what???"

Mitsuru:

Has VIP and all the microtransactions despite never touching the game after playing once

Her outfits would be very clean and pretty. She makes use of the purses & jewelry the most

Mitsuru would spend too much time on things like makeup, patterns and accessories which adds to her outfits but also takes away from her time

She'd be the one person going WAY too hard on the basic themes. But she'd make it work at the same time. Her outfits always look put together and well thought out.

Sometimes too thought out. She's probably ranked lower before because nobody understood her thought process.

Mitsuru always wants to duo with Akihiko and vice versa. But they spend a lot of time bantering about what to wear and what item goes with what, and end up running out of time. Though, they'd still do great together!

Fuuka:

the only one that would play this game consistently

She'd be so excited to share this game with everyone, and have a sweet bonding moment with friends, only to be shocked when they all take it SUPER seriously lmao

Uses the legwarmers in every outfit (just like me fr fr)

All of her outfits look super cutesy & sweet. She'd have great outfits but she thinks they suck.

So she'd be very excited and shocked when she gets on the podium.

Votes everyone 5 stars because she loves supporting her friends and seeing their happy faces when they win. #navithings

Fuuka takes her precious time despite the timer. Somehow, she manages to get everything done nicely.

Though sometimes she might panic and end up with random accessories and props with color that don't match her outfit.

Aigis:

Aigis would play with everyone to learn more about fashion & kids these days tm

"'I fear I ate', as they say"

Starts saying things like "slaaaaaay" outside of the game.

Unless it's a really basic theme like "blue" or "fairy", I can't see Aigis doing too great. She's in deep shit, as they say.

Especially if she plays on the public servers and tries to fit in with the kids playing

Though, after playing for a while, I could see her learning more about what's trending and how to style a basic outfit. She'd save the data of everyone's outfits in her memories.

She could get on the podium a bit if she really tried! Especially if she duos with someone else. If she duos with Makoto or Yukari, she'll do great. Just don't let Aigis duo with Junpei...

Aigis would do best at styling dresses since that's what she has most experience with IRL. And her fits would be cute but would sometimes miss things like accessories, shoes or sometimes even hair

"There is a noticeable lack of weapons in this game. How is one supposed to win without them?"

Ken:

"ugh, that game is for kids & little girls" *somehow has VIP & the highest ranking in the game*

He'd refuse to play with everyone until he sees everyone playing and he's like "Alright, I guess one round wouldn't hurt" (he's SUPER excited)

Would make decent outfits thanks to staring at Yukari's fashion magazines. It's how he understands all the trendy themes!

Ken would act all embarrassed if he actually places on the podium but deep down, he's happy he won.

Loves doing the cartoon themes and themes where you have to dress up as a character

Would duo with Makoto as well. They'd do pretty well together!

Shinjiro:

would refuse to play unless he knows Akihiko is playing.

Him and Akihiko either duo or have their own mini intense competition without everyone

Even if they duo, they'd still be trying to one-up each other.

I don't think Shinji's outfits would be amazing tbh. Not horrible though. He's trying his best!

He'd defiently get better over time though.

His default color is red. He also styles winter clothes the best

they’re smart guys who have been in this game for a long long time, they always keep an ear to the ground in terms of what is trendy in both content and humour (see all of the old days of collabs, tags, diss track, draw my life, and modern day taking on trending and upcoming games on dapg and having somewhat of a presence on tiktok) so they are well aware that some of their jokes tailor to a more modern audience - such as the quick editing style, some jokes about pop culture, referencing popular tiktok sounds etc, and generally referencing more modern day and current topics, so that new viewers that might stumble across the channel won’t see two thirty something gay guys making constant outdated jokes and will want to watch more of the content alongside the long time phannies that dnp won’t let out of the basement - but i personally think they intertwine that so well with references to both their past (see the roblox video was a love letter to the older fans but also let new fans know where they came from) and older topics that we will remember from the time they occurred (example being the reference to the piss incident - many new fans would just know the name and be like omg fnaf movie these guys know what’s up, and older phannies cackle in remembering how awkward the video was)

anyway this answer was a lot longer than what you were probably expecting, but my conclusion is to continue expecting more ‘young and edgy’ jokes - they need to keep things fresh in terms of keeping new viewer engagement, for example if a new fan tuned in to any modern day dapg video and it was just filled with more mature references and references to their past, the shorter content phenomenon means that sadly new viewers probably won’t stick around if there’s not something to keep their attention

BUT i do strongly believe the comfort content will keep coming - they are so grateful that so many of us are both still here and returning after the hiatus, they wouldn’t purposefully upset us by trying to soft reboot themselves to appeal just to the modern, new audiences!

This game has completely upended my expectations for what a Roblox game can be. Like, I used to play roblox probably ten or more years ago when it was still really small experiences, mostly just tycoons and obbys. So in my mind it's a kids game since, yknow, I was a kid when I played it. But OMG did Roblox POP TF OFF while I was away. I learned about pressure through the "Ask Sebastian" comic and was IMMEDIATELY interested by the character. I was SHOOKETH when I learned it was a roblox game. Up until that point the only other roblox thing to catch my eye was Doors but I kinda thought it was a one off thing since I didn't hear about much else. Idk where I'm even going with this, I'm just so genuinely surprised with what roblox is now. It's not just a funny little thing to log onto and be like "hehe, this is actually kind of a game, that's neat" now there are experiences that could easily be their own standalone indie game. It's not a sandbox, it's a whole game engine!

Hey! This is me coming back after writing *looks down* all that... I feel like I need to put a break somewhere so this isn't just a huge wall of text so I've decided to put that here. Under the cut is me ranting about Pressure specifically and how I think the story is fascinating. Also there's spoilers for the game the Beginner's Guide by Davey Wreden, so look out.

Anyway, Pressure. I LOVE the fact that Urbanshade is shamelessly evil. Everything that's already been listed describes it perfectly. I'm kinda split on whether or not there should be some kind of "good ending", or any kind of revolt against Urbanshade, successful or not. I personally love good endings but I also love the hopeless bad ending stuff too and fully recognize that they can be just as good if not better than good ones. I'm not sure we even need an ending for Pressure. I think it being a never ending cycle where nothing really changes is super fitting. There is not good ending, no bad ending, no ending at all. No one gets closure, no one gets a resolution, good or bad, they get nothing. To my knowledge we don't even know what Urbanshade is doing post lockdown, we don't get to know, that's not our job. Our job as the player and as expendables is to grab whatever we can and get out. All of our understanding of what Urbanshade is and what they've done comes not from them, but from the documents. Tbh I don't know if Sebastian giving us the documents when we die is actually canon or if it's just a different form of the death screen game tip thing, but I think the point remains the same.

Saying this kinda reminded me of that quote from the Beginner's Guide "If your role here is not to understand, then what is it?" and I think it applies here, even in the meta context of the line within the game. (Beginner's Guide spoilers if you haven't played/watched it, please do, it's really cool) In the Beginner's Guide this line is a BIG THING for the narrative. In fact, it's the entire presented narrative for the game, until the end that is. The whole time we're being guided through Coda's games and being told there's some narrative to be understood and some bigger meaning and purpose. But then it's revealed it was all a lie, it was never the case, no point, no lamp posts. And I think that sentiment can be applied to pressure as well. Just the idea that despite everything we're told, these little glimpses into a seemingly bigger world full of stories waiting to be told, we're not meant to see any of them. "Either way I think the point is the same, is that most of the time you don't get to know what you're missing, or even that you're missing anything, that's not your role as a player."

Welp, I hope you enjoyed me gushing about storytelling. Sorry to get all analytical about it, that's just how my brain is sometimes :)

I think part of why the world-building of Pressure are so strong is that there's no moral dark grayness like with SCP Foundation, who do shitty things in the blind, misguided attempt to maintain blissful ignorance but ultimately bring the horrors to the world through their actions. In the SCP universe, there are moments of humanity, moments where people question the system or even act against it.

Urbanshade is literally an evil corporation, nothing morally gray about it. Their goal is not "to die in the darkness so we can live in the light", it's literally "to exploit the anomalous". Exploitation is the name of their game. Everything they do, they do for themselves and whoever can line their pockets the best.

Whatever is deemed useless to them is either sold off to someone else or destroyed. It's a wretched system that will do anything to get the desired results for them, not for the world. They neglect to provide necessary information to the Expendables they send out to clean up their messes because they don't need to care. Urbanshade can just keep throwing money and bodies at the problem.

The Blacksite. The Raveyard. The Skelepede's corpse being sold like a Halloween decoration and being dumped because it's inconvenient. Painter losing its creator because of a bunch of crypto-bros (seriously you're a billion-dollar company you don't need fucking crypto). Sebastian losing his entire life and being put through the absolute wringer then tossed like trash because he wasn't what Urbanshade wanted.

I think that adds to the horror of Pressure as a narrative as well. We are not playing as heroes or even just normal people put in a bad situation. There's no "good ending" where we topple the evil organization and eat the rich and set everyone free. Even if the Expendable is one of the falsely accused, they, and by extension, the player, are just dooming someone who was once in their shoes to a horrible fate, all to fulfill their own agenda of freedom we don't even know if they deserve or not.

Maybe we deserve to be hunted and killed by the monsters. We're no better than their jailers.

I think I’m pretty certified to say this bc I have been playing Roblox with my lovely friend every morning for almost a week or 2 straight so... yeah. also, someone has probably done this before and I just wanted to say that this is my own original ideas and thoughts about what games they would play in Roblox :) anyways, let’s get into it losers.

yes, I can see mark playing some dumb ass story game like cruise, vacation, break in, etc.

him and jaem would just spend hours mocking how silly the story games can be sometimes, and even though they criticize the games sometimes, they can’t help but to feel drawn to how silly they were LMAO

would get upset when he would die from something ridiculous in the game... also calling it now that mark is also terrible at parkour. idk I just... feel like he would mess up the momentum of jumping onto stuff or would cut the jump short.

and yes, he would get on the other players for being terrible murderers and not having any technique for killing ppl on the game. “you guys suck!! do you guys even have a certain technique/strategy on how to kill ppl without getting caught on this game?!”

chenle and hyuck would just laugh their asses off on how serious renjun was about this game like... chill man it’s not that deep LMAO.

as you neared the bench you held close to your heart, your spirits lowered as you spotted a couple seated on it. they had their hands entwined, and you could hear them laughing together. you felt an envious pang in your chest, wanting nothing more than to be there with dongmin.

your steps became lighter, the couple’s conversation gradually becoming clearer. your face grew pale as you slowly came to a horrifying realization: you could recognize the boy’s voice anywhere—it was the same voice that belonged to the same boy you were there because of, the same voice that charmed you on that same bench months ago.

even with your silent begs for it to not be true, your heart dropped as his face came into view. dongmin was there, sat on the very bench your story had begun on, but with another girl; one that wasn’t—and would never be—you.

in that moment, your whole world shifted again, but you could feel it this time. you could feel your heart get crushed in the same way the leaves did, and you could feel your whole body go cold in the same way the autumn air was.

you felt heavy, heavy in a way that weighed you down both mentally and physically. your sorrow surpassed your feelings of envy by tenfold, and your feet felt too sunken into the ground to move. you weren’t nearly strong enough to, yet you were forced to carry the sudden baggage of everything that their simple gesture held.

that simple gesture that held the whole universe to you was so easily thrown out the window. what you knew now broke you, and what used to keep you whole was the culprit. knowledge brought you grief, serving it to you on a rusted platter.

everything felt all too familiar, and it scared you. it felt like a sick, twisted repeat of your meeting in march, and you didn’t know what you did to deserve it. you swore that you didn’t do anything to hurt him, yet he walked all over you as if you were the rock path.

“dongmin?” the vulnerability in your voice was clear, but his expression wasn’t.

dongmin sighed, and looked at the girl next to him. she was perplexed but compliant when dongmin slipped his hand out of hers, standing up. “i’ll be right back.”

as soon as he stood, he signaled you to follow him before walking off. you quickly began to trudge after him, guilt rising inside of you. you fiddled with your fingers, now regretting your confrontation.

dongmin led you far enough to where the bench was still in sight, but the abandoned girl wouldn’t be able to hear your conversation. as soon as he stopped, he turned to you, expression blank.

“what?” he stared you down, running a hand through his hair. when you didn’t say anything, he crossed his arms. “what’s the problem?”

you were just as dumbfounded as that girl; you thought it was clear as day why you were upset. “why—why were you holding her hand?”

he deadpanned. “i still don’t get it. why is that a problem?” his voice was painfully monotone, and for the first time, there was nothing beyond the surface.

he wasn’t upset with you, and that only pained you more. he didn’t care one bit, and that displayed just how little everything meant to him. even if he didn’t give it a second thought, you were still in so deep. even now, all you wanted was to be with him.

“because we’re a thing! we’re—” you stopped yourself short, realizing your mistake. you rewound to the sole reason you went to the park, the blood draining out of your face.

something; the one thing you never got from him. the one thing you endlessly longed for, but never came to fruition. your relationship with dongmin was the one bud that never blossomed back in spring, remaining dormant for months as if it were frozen in time.

the day you met dongmin was the closest to something you had ever gotten from him, and you were desperate to just feel as if you had it. you knew you’d never have it in your grasp, but even just the touch of your fingertips would be enough. instead of that, you were forced upon the truth; something that you never knew you’d face.

dongmin quirked an eyebrow. “we were never a thing,” he smiled at you, but it didn’t hold the same meaning it usually did. rather than comforting, it was mocking. for once, he resembled the dark surrounding the light; not the other way around.

all you could do was stand there, eyes slowly welling with tears. you hated that you were such a fool for him, almost as much as you hated how you were such a fool for the idea of being with him.

“god, don’t cry,” he sighed, throwing his head back lazily. “we’re nothing now, and we were nothing before. you never said it was a problem, so what do you even want?”

“you! i just want you!” your voice broke as your tears began to flow, emotions letting loose. “i always did, and i still do!”

“well, you have me—”

“obviously not, because if i did, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now!” you were near yelling, but you couldn’t care less if people could hear. dongmin was the only problem you cared about, and you wanted to fight to solve him.

silence hung in the air, and everything felt frozen. the only thing that moved was dongmin’s chest, rising up then down while he breathed, each breath deeper than the last. even now, your moments with dongmin were still, except you felt all but at peace.

“this is insane—you’re insane,” dongmin breathed out, looking away so his face was against the breeze. “this seriously doesn’t matter, so get over it. talk to me when you’ve come to your senses.”

you and the silence broke all the same, rending further as he walked past you. his footsteps rang in your ears, and they were louder than anything you’ve ever heard. his departure was deafening, and your puddles of tears were blinding.

you felt suffocated, more by the loss of dongmin than the loss of your senses. he was everything to you, and you lost him over something. you were as upset at yourself as you were at him; you wondered how you could be so mindless. you thought nothing could go wrong, but in the end, everything did.

everything you couldn’t fathom about dongmin didn’t exist. every barrier he had built was translucent, and beyond it was nothing. every smile he gave you didn’t mean anything, since everything behind it was nothing. the previously unknown was nothing, because that was what you truly meant to him.

he ripped a chunk out of you that you’d never get back, leaving it to be nothing. nothing was what was left of your heart; what once beat was broken by the boy it thrived for. nothing would be a taunt; a constant reminder that that was what you were to dongmin all along.

in reality, he was nothing short of the one rain cloud on a perfectly sunny day. he cut your wings, forbidding you from leaving the ground he cursed. he extinguished your flame, making it nearly impossible to reignite it. the piece of himself he provided to you before was now a parasite, intoxicating you from the inside out.

even in your sorrow-drunk daze, you knew that you had woken up from the dream that was too good to be. you escaped the everlasting slumber, and the spell was finally broken. although, your cure wasn’t a fairytale’s true love’s kiss; it was something of the opposite nature.

dongmin’s ‘beautiful’ poison had finally caught up to you, and it was less pretty than you’d thought it was. even so, you still couldn’t resist the temptation, even if he was irreversibly tainted. you wished for just one more look at your nightmare disguised as a daydream, so you made it come true.

you turned around, and your tear-blurred eyes trained on dongmin like it was a second nature. as if it were a third, you focused on his hand, intertwined with another. you didn’t have to question who it was, as the answer came as a fourth. you could almost ignore the feeling of your heart break at the thought, as it’d broken enough times for it to be a first nature.

you felt all but wanted, and in its place was the burning pain of feeling used. beyond your pain was everything that you couldn’t get rid of, including dongmin’s strong presence in your heart. you were still wrapped around his finger, despite the scars you’d always have to carry because of him. you knew that—even though there was nothing left—something would always linger.

Reflection of the last 6 weeks of travelling on the road....

Yay! I'm finally getting around to starting my blog all about our travelling adventures around the US.! This is a my first time blogging so my kids would definitely call me a "noob" (thank you Minecraft!). I personally prefer the name "newbie" instead...lol

So here it goes......after a lot of persuasion on my part (close to 2 years of trying to convince my husband to tap out of this rat race with me and the kids to slow things down and enjoy our life together while travelling the US) and a lot of planning on both our parts (another year once he agreed to my crazy plan), we began on our Epic Travelling Adventure on March 15th!

6 weeks into it we have really truly only explored Arizona but we are not complaining because oh my goodness......Arizona is absolutely beautiful! It's so nice to know that since we live in CA we can come back and explore again and again! Plus we did get to spend some wonderful quality time with family from both sides 2 of those 6 weeks!

Next we are heading to Utah. We made a pit stop near 4 corners hoping we could have the kids take pictures while being in all 4 states at once. But unfortunately, it was still closed due to Covid. While that was a bummer, the kids still thought it was cool that they could go from Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado all within 5 minutes of each other! We haven't explored Utah before so Michael and I are super excited about the next couple of weeks!

This trip has already been so wonderful for our kids. Not only have they been able to spend time with some quality time with their cousins on both sides of the family but they have also really enjoyed getting to meet and play with other kids from all over the country. Surprisingly, our idea is not as novel as I originally thought....lol. We have met SO many families who are doing what we are doing. A lot of them do have one parent who is still working remotely while the other parent focuses on home schooling their children. There are not many families where both parents are not working so we know we are truly fortunately! Really the only people we meet who are not working are those who have retired and their kids are grown up.

Another thing that I have enjoyed seeing is that my kids can stay connected to most of the kids they meet virtually through games like Roblox or Minecraft! And while I'm not a huge proponent of games and many aspects of our new "tech world" (for example my kids wanting to get on youtube to watch other people live their lives!), I'm happy to report that this is one aspect of the virtual video game world that I'm ok with....lol

So I was never really worried about my kids not having opportunities to socialize with other kids since I know that my kids are super social and make friends easily both with kids and adults, the real surprise for me was how wonderful the camping community has been! Everyone is just so kind, friendly and helpful. We have learned so much and received so many great tips from so many amazing people at almost each campsite we have been too. I would say that we have felt the community vibe at almost all of the Thousand Trails campgrounds and would highly recommend anyway interested in camping to sign up for a membership! (Btw....if you are interested in learning more about a membership just reach out and I can give you some information on it)

After avoiding people for so long due to Covid, it's been so wonderful for all of us to connect with people again! While we started off strong wearing masks every where we went, we have loosened up quit a bit each day. Since Michael and I have been vaccinated and we don't see my parents often while travelling, we seemed to be less worried about it. Plus, many people that we meet have been vaccinated so that's always a good thing too!

To be fair, honest and realistic about our experiences, I'm going to include my top 5 "not so fabulous" things about our travelling adventures.

5) Not having enough space for cooking! OMG! Even the simplest dinners are challenging to make because there's just not enough counter space on our kitchen. And did I mention that I have to constantly take out or put back our air fryer, blender, toaster oven....and the list continues! And I still haven't used the instapot! It's so big I don't know where to put it...lol

4) Making my bed! So I love making my bed in the morning. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and I just like to look at a clean bed. While our bed is SUPER comfortable so no complaints there, it's a King Size bed but there's not a King Size space for the bed. I literally have to get on my bed to make my bed. I know that doesn't even make any sense but believe me when I say it sucks and I'm not how sure how long the "daily making of my bed" is going to last...lol

3) So...one of the main reasons of this trip was to spend more quality time with the kids. Umm...I'm now thinking it would have been smarter if we could have traveled throughout the US in our actual house. I mean literally take our house on the road. My kids seem to think it's an actual home. They still want to play hide and seek, tag, and the boys constantly want to wrestle. I keep reminding them that our RV is at max 240 sq. ft of living space so we can't treat it like our house back in Temecula. But I'm confident it's going in one ear out the other.

And I'm not quite sure how I forgot but I did... the arguing! It's kind of driving me a little crazy. And of course it mostly happens on our travelling days or when it's raining outside but oh my goodness! I think I used to just walk away and let them figure it out on their own but now I don't really have a place to hide. Did I mention that we lack space?!? LOL

On a positive note, almost every adult with kids whom my children have played with have literally made a point to come and tell us how well behaved, kind and wonderful our kids are. I smile and thank them for their kind words. But I can't lie....every once in a while really I just want to show them the video of them arguing about 30 minutes earlier....lol

2) Laundry! Ugh! I wish we would have purchased an RV with a washer and dryer. We are considering purchasing at least a washer but we need to find room for it first! Did I mention that we struggle with a lack of space...lol. In the meantime, I've literally been having the kids wear there clothes two days in a row (easier for Milah to do than the boys...ugh!) But don't worry, they are still changing their underwear and socks everyday...lol

1) Wifi! Where is this 5G network I've been hearing about because I can't seem to find it! When I was thinking of a name for my blog I was highly considering "wifi hunter extraordinaire". This has been my #1 thorn in my side. We decided to let the kids finish off their school year at their traditional public school since online was an option. Our thought was that it would make for an easier transition for them and it was only 8 weeks after spring break. Can we say "hindsight is 20/20"! I plan on homeschooling them next school year and should have just made the switch when we left. Don't get me wrong, the kids teachers are awesome! Super supportive and really try to be flexible but we still feel tied to being online at certain times for the zoom classes. I'm definitely counting down the days until they are done with school this year (29 days!)

But the most difficult thing about being on the road has been being away from my parents, brothers, sister-in-law, nieces and cousins in southern CA. Family has always been so very important to me and have always been a part of my "happy place". I wish I could take them all of with me on this epic journey. But for now, I'm once again thankful for technological advances like face time! (if only I could get reliable connection while on the road or at our campsites I would be much more thankful...ugh!)

Okey Dokey Artichokey....that's it for today! The good, the bad and the ugly for our first 6 weeks on the road. This took me longer than I expected to reflect upon our travelling experiences on the road so I will definitely be posting more often and not as lengthy....I think...lol

The rain has let up and the kid's movie is almost done so it's time to get the kids outside to burn off some energy then shower up and make some dinner...

hii friends... i'm back again. sorry i've not really blogged recently; i totally forgot and have just been mentally unstable if im being honest. right now im sat in bed, with my pyjamas, watching glee in one tab, a roblox tab of tower of hell open and then im writing this. i straightened my hair today! first time i straightened it in 10 days. to think i used to straighten it every day.. where did i get the energy? i noticed my roots are coming in now too which sucks but, it was inevitable lol.

my rooms a HUGE mess right now. i really have to tidy it soon. but once again, it's just finding the energy/motivation to do so.

oh! my computer cut out 3 nights ago. i freaked out but my mum took a look at it the day after and fixed it.

i decided to start a diet yesterday. so far i've been good. i had 2 slices of bacon, some beans, a potato scone, an egg and a slice of buttered toast. it was good! i actually just finished a coffee i made. maybe should've skipped the whipped cream. but the breakfast was only like.. 450 calories! and it filled me up alot, as did the coffee i just had. im really just feeling crap about my weight. i can't remember the last time that i felt good about myself, just when i think i can't feel any worse i always manage to. at least when i was like 16, i thought my face was fine. now, i hate it more than my weight. i wish i could get some sort of surgery without getting the surgery if that makes sense. auckkkk. but yeah, right now i'm trying to focus on the diet and then maybe if im good all week ill order a takeaway on saturday! i was watching this woman on tiktok and she was showing her dominos takeaway she got and omg... i was just DROOLING! If I only get one takeaway a week then I would think i'm able to afford that.

i've been thinking about moving alot this year. of course im planning on moving to edinburgh with tara and tymon in the summer. taras mum anjali is thinking of just buying an apartment for us and then we pay her rent every month, which in fairness would be a much more ideal situation than just renting it from someone we don't know. I really feel like when I move i'll come out of my shell. I'll be able to do what I like, and i'll be in the city I love most.

ah, and i forgot to say ; i'm gonna make my own bucket list! i know there are a few things but i've never actually written it out, so once i get back from safehouse i might get started on it and make it all cute. i remember one of the things on my bucket list was to drink out of a red solo cup. thankfully i can cross that off now! i know it might seem like a silly one but i feel like thats something so simple yet quite monumental. or maybe not. idk. ANYWAYSSSS... i've definitely been rambling on for far too long. i'll finish up here.
