I am currently reading The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary . and I cannot stop thinking about a Zimbits AU with the same premise. Jack and Bitty slowly getting to know one another via sticky notes all over the apartment. Sharing the same space, and bed, without ever being in it at the same time.

The notes start getting longer and longer. They move into using a notebook (because I love a good shared notebook) in order to prevent notes getting lost.

Their notes and letters get more and more personal. Jack can tell when Bitty has been stressed because of the amount of baked goods left in the apartment when he gets home. Bitty can tell when Jack is having a rough time too.

They get to understand the different moods they have in writing. Bitty'a handwriting getting cramped and more difficult to read the more excited he is about something, like he can't quite write as fast as his brain is going. Jack has very neat handwriting, but there are differences to it depending on his mood, and Bitty begins to recognize it.

They don't realize they have fallen in love with each other for awhile.

They will eventually cross paths and be in the apartment at the same time. There is probably ex drama and work drama that they share with each other. And maybe they meet each other's friends before actually seeing each other and I dunno.

So much good fucking potential for this plot with Zimbits. HEY DOES IT EXIST YET? Have I missed this fic floating around? If not someone should write it lol

Today I’ll be dumping a bucket of omgcp headcanons into hell!

Note: this only mentions jack, r & h, shitty, lardo, bitty, and the frogs +farmer

- Jack and Bitty just kinda hung out in their apartment. Bitty definitely baked like 3x as much, and definitely organized zoom calls, both with his graduated friends (which do infact include the tadpoles! Whiskey, tango and ford all are class of 2019! Crazy right!) and whoever’s still at the haus. Jack definitely bought a ton of Jackbox games mostly for the pun and then became genuinely addicted to them and hosted a lot more zooms and also got mercilessly chirped

- haus 2.0 (Shitty, Lardo, Ransom, Holster) met their neighbor! And then they never spoke again! I think Lardo ended up with just a huge tech setup for both art and gaming and became a gamer girl who also has a huge drawing tablet and now has an Etsy. Shitty attended many a zoom court meeting, a few of which he accidentally got stuck on a filter/background which was embarrassing. Everyone else thought it was reeeeaal funny tho. Ransom questioned his choice to not do med stuff and ended up almost taking an online course and then he just didn’t for some reason. Holster definitely learned to bake, and the two of them took an online seminar on mixology and can now make beautiful drinks.

- frogs (chowder, dex, and nursey PLUS farmer because I love her even tho she’s underdeveloped and also she’s present in this situation) a lotta people have headcanoned that chowder went back to cali and signed with the sharks and because that is a dream come true for him and I want only the best for that absolute ray of sunshine he totally did but then it just stopped because virtual BUT he did get one year. He calls all his teammates a lot like more that bitty which is impressive and most definitely tried to bake cute stuff and failed because he doesn’t have the experience. Farmer can totally cook and was solely responsible for keeping their apartment stable and good and everything with her killer skills. They both tried to do yoga. It didn’t work. Meanwhile, dex and nursey decided to stay with chowder and farmer because idk the frogs all wanted to live together and it was cheaper bc cali is expensive and stuff. They thought it would be temporary. They were saving up to get separate places. They had to share a room. They almost got kicked out for incessant bickering by farmer and were saved by chowder and they have been on thin ice ever since.

Not gonna really go into jobs because ghgghgh boring if anyone wants to write fics or make comics based off of these I’d love to see them!!!!!! Let your creatively juicy self go apeshit

Dex is initially not a fan but nursey and chowder catch him snuggling and being generally cute with them when he thinks no one is looking. Chowder immediately loves them of course.

Heya Long time no see!  So I was commissioned by @kentparsonbirthdaybash to draw something based my favorite submission to their 48 Hour Draft Challenge (in which folks were encouraged to submit angsty Kent-centric headcanons)! The one that got me was from @rushingsnowy​:

Kent Parson thought he was doing pretty great at moving past Jack Zimmermann, but ever since the Center Ice Kiss, media has been hounding him for his thoughts and haven't let him forget what he'd had, what he'd wanted and what he'd lost.

It made me want to hearken back to Kent as he appears in -2:08 (Parse Part II) -3:07 (LVA @ PVD Part I) and -3:26 (Cup V- Post)  because this hc is just the natural progression from those moments and I don’t know how he’d be able to keep it all in.

I present: Softball SMH

At Catcher, we have Chowder. She’s overly friendly to batters, which freaks them out. Most catchers go with intimidating, which she is when it’s time for the actual pitch, but in between? She likes to compliment! She likes her hair in braids because it keeps it out of her way under her helmet.

They’ve got two pitchers, Ollie and Wicky. No one can tell them apart because they’re always together. 

At first, Shitty. She’s a big hitter, likes to chill and chat up baserunners, has AMAZING hands tho. She tried to get Jack to be #4 to her #20 but she wouldn’t go for it.

At Second, Dex. She is perpetually sunburnt and keeps her hair short and neat. She spends all her downtime shouting at Nursey to shut up because, at shortstop, we have Nursey. She spends all her time making “second base” jokes and making fun of how red Dex gets over her second base jokes. eg “Dex doesn’t like it when girls get to second base!” ostensibly aimed at the runner on first but actually just wants to see Dex blush. 

On third, we’ve got Ransom. She and Holster, out in left field, lead most of the chants and also love to pump each other up with ridiculous ones. She’s #9 and Holster is #6. The coaches keep finding one or the other of them in the wrong field during infield/outfield drills. Common occurrences between these two include: “COMIN' OUTTA LEFT FIELD, IT'S MY GIRL HOLSTERRRRR”  and “the hot corner just got EVEN HOTTER, it's my girlRANSOMMMMM “

At center we have Jack. She’s solid, she’s steady, she’ll hit your pitch out of the park if she gets a piece of it so don’t let her. Captain of the team, she shies away from the makeup and bows many of the team favor, preferring a perfunctory ponytail and a glare. 

In right field, we have Bitty. She’s afraid of diving headfirst and instead does a bunch of weird spinny stuff to make catches. She’s really good but doesn't always believe it. She is cute and she knows it, always wearing a full face of makeup and a bow in her ponytail and will tell off anyone who tries to shame her for it. Femme power!

After year 2? 

Tango takes first and bombards baserunners with questions to distract them from stealing second. Or maybe shee really is just curious about their preferred cleat lacing style? No one is sure.

Whiskey takes CF and leads the team in runs. She’s strong and silent and terrifies the other team. 

And of course, our fearless manager, Lardo. I can’t bring myself to genderswap her, so she’s still our Lardo. I tried. I couldn’t do it.
