so done because I wanna draw but I NEED. to get to work on my next fic’s rough draft, ATLEAST figure out where I want the plot to go and how many chapters I need, but also. I NEED to draw too. just realized emizel and william (saying like mid season 2 because that’s where I’m at) meetup would go fucking insane, both because;

a: emizel is a feral little rat man who loves murder and william is an anxious teen who is. at best not fond of murder. but he does have his moments.

b: i think william could feasibly pass off as a vampire at first but it would quickly become increasingly obvious that he was Something Else. the lack of blood and ability to phase through walls would probably be a tell. i also don’t know if william would realize emizel was a vampire and not just like a superhero with weird teeth.

c (the main reason I had this thought): these are two guys who can both come back from the dead and both have Incredibly different opinions on it. william is, rightly, terrified of his own death and scared that it might become permanent. emizel keeps yippie-kay-yay-motherfucker-ing his way into the grave yelling about shamia shamae and trying to fight god. i think they could both probably help each other out. or make each other worse. honestly probably the second option, neither of those two are exactly the masters of talking about feelings

What's Hectors POV on what their relationship is? We know Happy ""adopted"" him per se.

Does Hector view Happy as like his kid/grandkid figure or just general found family with no specific label? Or just a friend / roommate looking out for him?

An alternative idea to my first, more pessimistic Season 3 Prediction, in which they find him looking a little more like this ^

For the tattoo designs I did a lot of research and I chose them carefully. The snake tattoo I chose because it is: A. Not affiliated with any particular real-world gang, B. Common among white prisoners (many prison tattoos are racially specific), and C. Notably, not a nazi thing (I did check). Snake tattoos can sometimes symbolize change or rebirth because of the way they shed their skin, but there doesn’t seem to be any one, universal meaning for them. For Blyke here, I thought it would serve as a message to other inmates: “Don’t touch me, I’m venomous.”

The rose with a dagger through it can mean many things in the free world, but in prison it means someone was locked up before they reached adulthood. I don’t know if people typically get this as kids or if they get them when they grow up (probably the latter), but I imagine that Blyke gets it because: “I was a kid when they locked me up. But now... I’m a man. Grr, hng, and other macho man noises.”

It's cool, I've just already had to answer to the popo for stupid jokes I've made on this blog, and I've had people ask repeatedly for drugs or information on how to get them. I don't like when they call my dad lookin for me over my silly internet cat comic. I don't like the idea of experiencing jail time over things a cartoon cat did. I will never sell any of you drugs or hook you up because I don't do illegal drugs, or anything else illegal (except drive without insurance), so don't even ask.

Well, I've got good news and bad news. Nothing's canceled, don't worry. It's kinda rambly, so I put it under the keep reading tab, but tl;dr is that more personal life stuff occurred that has dramatically altered the way I go about living for the time being. If you'd like to know more, go ahead.

The good news is that my schedule has recently opened up quite dramatically as of late, which theoretically means I have much more time for writing. The bad news is that the reason for this is that last week I injured my knee bad enough to where I can no longer walk on my own, and therefore no longer work. Very likely a meniscus injury, which is to say the best case scenario is that I need a few weeks of physical therapy to be able to walk again. I've got an MRI scheduled for tomorrow, so I'll know what's going on for sure following that.

On the bright side, I don't live alone, so I've been able to live a relatively comfortable existence despite that - just a lot of adjusting and having to rely on others (which is anathema to me btw bc my dumb ass brain keeps trying to convince me I'm burdening other people despite the fact I literally cannot help myself right now). This was also an injury that happened on the job, so I'm likely covered by Worker's Compensation. From what I understand, it's a pretty common injury among athletes, but an athlete I am not. I've already gone through the low points mental health-wise regarding all this, and these past few days have been spent just taking it easy and doing my best to make this entire situation something I can laugh about.

Sorry that this is just something that I'm dropping out of nowhere, but life does like to just throw shit at you like that - and I in particular can't seem to catch a break. But hey, if I'm feeling up to it here soon, I've got a lot more time on my hands to get back to work on Act 2.

Midzelink Headcanons (at 3am)

Link is a bit of an insomniac and ends up doing anything other than sleeping, does a lot of cleaning at 1am type shit

Midna is a really heavy sleeper and tends to headlock what or whoever is closest

Zelda is a decently light sleeper and half the time ends up saying awake with Link for a while before passing out again, has woken up on her couch more times than she'd like to cause of this

Midna doesnt dream, like at all and even if she does she doesnt remember them

Zelda has really vivid dreams to the point that when she'll wake up in the morning she has a hard time distinguishing between the two for a good few minutes (gaslit by her own dreams type shit)

Link's just kinda there, doesn't remember any unless they were really weird

Zelda and Midna are not morning ppl whatsoever, Zelda's a bit better but would rather not wake up before 10am

Link's used to being up with the sunrise so he doesn't actually remember if he is or isnt, he does pretty regularly take a nap in the middle of the day tho

Zelda's one of the can make really good looking food but it tastes bland as hell kind of people, do to that Link has to do all the prep work and Zelda actually cooks otherwise Link tends to burn stuff trying to multi-task
