#pony town#alan becker#animator vs animation#ava the chosen one#ava the dark lord#--/ art#is it new threads if there are no threads to begin with?#leaned all the way away from clothes this time bc they're not really my thing#i was drafting ''fluffy tco'' back in winter season.. biggest idea was hiding some spiked bracelets underneath shoes to act as lil flames.#subtler shading throughout too. less flashy and more natural glow. id say i like both of them tbh: just different#tdl is brand new. just finished him up like last week? last last week? idr#many many many many hours of deliberation along every little inch of this asshole /lh#i was using the edgeworth hair bc the inner outline pattern reminded me of virablades... faded into a braid bc it looked interesting#and broke up the silhouette. then the new hair came out and it SLAPS paired with a braid so that changed instantly.#the main idea for his color palette is pure red -> varying saturation. with shards of black jutting out in places#looks a little sickly. that's on purpose#and the rest just kinda fell into place afterwards.#explosion tail. Love that. one of the main reasons i decided to work on tdl in the first place#took tco's tail colors and applied them to different tails and. bam. you could say. ;3#yeah tco was fun to make but honestly i can't stop staring at tdl. super happy with the shapes on this one#the horn blends into the hairr patternnn#subpixels

HE HAS SO MUCH TIME.#man's literally immortal. obviously he's open to learning additional crafts that he normally wouldn't learn in his mortal time#meanwhile rune's kofte was obviously knitted as that's kinda the point of this post. the patterned nordic kind. his mom probably made it.#ironically morten may actually be the easiest one to cosplay with accurate materials#like that's just a normal hoodie. probably home-sewn.#the sleeve flowers were probably printed onto the fabric or included as a part of it idk but machines were definitely involved#anyway it's nearly 2 am as i write this. and i probably gotta sleep#gonna queue this for tomorrow when more people are awake

Deep in the Trades Ward, the crush of the crowd and the early Flamerule heat had Ashenivir unpleasantly damp with sweat in a matter of minutes.

As for patterns, I seem to enjoy a good, short Opening Statement that the Opening Paragraph then expands upon. That and opening with dialogue, which I am unsurprised by, because I know I like doing it.
I think Chapter Twelve’s opening is maybe my favourite, just because I love the visual and I remember working quite a lot to get the phrasing on that line and that paragaph juuust right.
also i love how only one out of eighteen chapters opens with anything that even remotely gives away that this is a D/s erotic romance.

im seeing the pattern of being an atreus/angrboda fan (or u just like them) and having to go through this weird initiation process of: liking them in the game (wether its themselves, their relationship or both), then trying to find content of them only to be shocked to see a bunch of haters (on both sides but angrboda gets it the worst and thrud is often times oddly used against her), only to then get severely disappointed and realize u probably have to do a bit of contribution yourself which isnt bad but it sucks when its characters that are ridiculously hated 😭😭😭

We’re on day six straight of “wake up in the middle of the night/morning hypervigilant and struggle to sleep again” which means we’re reaching the season of Perma Tension and Overthink.
Can’t wait to get through the next two days of work so I can start my week of suspension.
#personal skuun#there was money missing on my station is the upshot#and it’s been a really long time since I’ve made a mistake of that magnitude and yes it DOES happen#but it also looks like it might be coworker’s ADHD setting stuff aside to buy later and forgetting and then we don’t know where or what#I’m like. the third person being suspended for cash loss this month which is also unusual#COULD happen but it could be a lot of things#so I’m just like. trying to keep an eye on her and make sure it’s not a gambling thing#and keeping an eye on my boss who’s letting the chips fall on the off chance it’s him and he’s spreading it around?#I’ve seen both in my time here which makes it impossible to determine without another point on the mental graph#but it’s probably better it happens now#because this is one of two seasonal points where my sleep patterns and mental health run a little thin#and I’m most likely to make those mistakes then#my bills have reduced since the storage unit closure so I just need to kind of. tighten belt and stay home#which I’m good at anyway#although it’s funny because I know half my bosses will be at Pride on Miami Beach this weekend#it’s just two more days of paying close attention and then I can collapse#I’ve stockpiled foods in the pantry to try to make myself keep eating nice things#I have a ton of books and uh. varying. alcohols.#(sorry but sometimes I just want to be sedated and I’m med free running through these seasons.)#I have a beach cleanup event on Tuesday so I won’t be totally isolated/warped with a sense of uselessness/powerlessness#just have to hang on and see if my head clears. same as always.#got to introduce my mom to the flavor of perilla oil today though so that was kind of fun#and I can focus on moving my plants into the room…#maybe paint like I keep saying I’m gonna do and then don’t do#it just feels like my body’s made up of all these uncomfortable lumps#and then on top of it you get dreams that make you wake up crying and unable to get back to sleep for hours? fuck off with that

Anyone interested in buying isopuppy plushies?
Either as a pattern or actual sewn-by-me toys. Because I have crocheted So Many Toys over my children, and I am thinking it's time to go back to sewing for awhile, but I should also stop rampantly making toys without homes to send them to. So. Casual interest check. I am absolutely making one for myself; this just determines if I should go through the effort of making an actual pattern so I can replicate the process.
