ONE BED TROPE ONE BED TROPE ONE BED TROPE I scream as they drag me back into the behavioral health unit

Winter. It was always nice living in Pittsburgh and being able witness all four seasons. However, nor'easters were a different beast. You watched the news. You saw the reports. 16 plus inches expected in the span of 4 hours. But what were you supposed to do? Not show up to work because of a chance of a little snow?

Now you were stuck in the hospital. Nobody coming in to swap your shift. It's already hour 19 and the ED was nearly empty. The roads were too bad for any traffic. The only people coming in were those who braved it on foot but those had slowed down about 4 hours ago.

Thankfully, the hospital was fully staffed. For once you could even argue there were too many people working. There was nowhere for anyone to go with the snow quickly burying the hospital. Nearly every on call room was full, all except one.

You walked in rubbing your eyes, not paying attention to anything in the darkened room. You made your way over to the small twin sized bed, your only focus was getting an hour or two of sleep.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry! I- I d-didn't know anyone was in here!" You yelped when you tried to climb into bed only to find your senior attending already there and halfway asleep.

"No no it's fine..." He groaned, eyes still closed. You should leave. You should just drink another cup of coffee. You should leave.

"There's no more beds" you say softly. You should shut up and leave.

"Come 'ere" he grunts while half asleep. You shouldn't be doing this yet you don't stop yourself. You climb in bed next to him. He radiates heat. You can't help but to slide closer, the warmth he provides was enough to fight the bitter cold from the nor'easter.

"Can you scooch over I'm about to fall off" you whisper to him. He doesn't say anything but pulls you to lay on top of his broad chest. His hands resting on the back of your legs.

Stanley Pines doesn't get kicked out. He does, however, disappear off the face of the earth.

(Or: whenever due to paranormal or not, Stanley dissapears. Whenever due to breaking the project, knowing he isn't wanted/needed or anything else you can think of.

I like to think Stanley left and got himself a little house in the woods. maybe he had been saving up money with part time jobs and his it from his Pa so he wouldn't take it, so he was prepared to leave when Stanford went to college- The Stan'O'War wasn't enough of a getaway, it was supposed to be both of them afterall.

Stanley finds amazing things in the woods he lives in, he had picked a place no one would think to find him (although he doubts anyone would come looking for him) and what better place other than a place no one knows exists? Gravity Falls! )
