frankly speaking like i was there seated for the asajj ventress stuff i love her and have since 2003 girl is serving no matter what. it adds new stuff to her character and ykw i think she deserves it. the episode with the separatist general revering her? man. we know she regrets it. good people still relied on her fearsome persona.

did we really need an origin story for mr cad bane. Cad Bane? I think the guy just popped up fully formed from the earth like that he did not need an origin story for him and his hat. like oh cool i guess this guy had a mentor who wore The Hat and his childhood best friend became a cop and ooh look the best friend put bane in jail because bane was a bad man and look we made the first girl duros character in star wars canon to give cad bane a girlfriend and a son, and then bane kills the best friend and walks away from his child. what does this ADD? only thing im taking away from it is that his name is colby thats funny af.

#and secondly i will admit that after every episode i was making the joke that “and then he and jango fett made out like crazy”.#if ur gonna do a parallel to jango and bane you gotta at least show him. this is that media where jango has a girlfriend and then #they go in separate escape pods never to meet again. why #what is the pooooointtttttttt #what do we LEARN #obviously the characters at the heart of the show undergo opposite arcs #you have asajj learning to live at the edges of the underworld but she's fighting for something more. and then you have bane #and he's out for himself and himself alone #but like that's been his MO since day 1 #they should have put him with characters we know about and place it in context. if they're going to give the backstory have at least SMTH #with like. jango. boba #yall really did have the chance to finish that cw ep that couldnt be made and yall didnt take it #for colby; a girlfriend and childhood cop best friend ; and a son he abandons #that could have been 1 or 2 episodes and wrap it around to what we know. give it more context.#recanonize things that were legends or put a new spin on them #but no #tales of the underworld #tales of the underworld spoilers #like all of the ppl in asajj's ep were also new barring the first 2 minutes but they all felt connected to things we knew and understood #and we can make those ties ourselves and put into context what it means for her #we have to assume that was the planet duros; we dont know that community; we don't know the people or what any of them are fighting for #they drop that there's gang activity and thats gotta be what lazslo was but christ alive. what was the point.

Mina Novak's Room

Felicia Aguilar's Room

#couple of environment shots while I look for Demetria's VA claim #Let's see how the Haven is when the ladies are out for the night #wanted a contrast between both rooms; Mina's is warm‚ homey‚ and has clear separation from her sleeping area & desk #she's filled her room with plants from the greenhouse and is using them to build terrariums #she has ignored college work on her desk #her bed is messy but clearly lived in and enjoyed‚ with random shit packed away underneath(probably as an old DS stored in there).#Her walls are painted and decorated with photos‚ but it looks like she's updating it regularly‚ so everything is held up by tape.#you can tell the room had a lot of effort put in to create an environment that felt safe for Mina #And on the opposite side of the coin‚ you have Felicia's room. Dark and moody with an unfinished industrial edge.#There's no separation from the busyness of the room; everything has to be near her head‚ nothing out of sight‚ It's safer that way.#Her bed looks hardly lived in‚ saved for a stray blanket; like the bed she acquired for herself isn't really for her subconsciously.#And can't bear the thought of ruining it with her body‚ thus sleeps around the decorative pillows #there's a lack of personal novelties besides various CDs n' records that pair with the sound system in the room #vices from life that she can no longer indulge litter the walls‚ cigarettes pile up on the nightstand;#And there's artbooks that younger her could've only dreamed of owning #on the right nightstand‚ there's two terrariums from Mina. The only other life in the room besides the fishtank;#i'm rambling #vtm ocs #I honestly find the idea of Mina finding the loft Felicia bought without much thought scary as a kid‚ and Felicia doing everything possible #to circumvent that feeling‚ quite funny #Felicia: I've lived in various slum houses and pack dens for ages‚ I can deal with industrial grit #Mina: I'm scared #*Felicia immediately finds herself in a Home Depot looking at paint swatches for an 8-year-old*#It's also funnier when you realize Mina's aesthetics go against Felicia's and makes the Toreador's Bane act up.#I'm rambling even more now

I WISH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS TEST. Some of those things are NOT (quite) synonyms or antonyms of eachother! similar is NOT the same as synonym when there's a distinctive meaning difference! if you can classify an object as being part of either one group or another! those groups are NOT synonyms!

and don't get me started on the antonyms. more than a few of those are idiomatic usage and Not the antonyms of those words' common usages! argh. more ranting in tags. also these are Fun words and we should use more of them

is there a cure to make it easier to read emails after you've been too eager and made a little annoying mistake in the process of things and now your abusive boss ptsd™️ is kicking in and you're afraid to get called out so you can't even look at your inbox or do i just keep opening said emails and then standing up to read them from 10 feet away like i usually do
