shirt that says i destroyed my mental health in school for 2 months and all I got was a B

#I'm genuinely angry about it bc i 100% do not believe it's my fault #i went above and beyond every chance i got and the thing is #genuinely #i did not even answer anything incorrectly. and there were no multiple choice or true false tests or anything #i never got counted off for anything i said.#it was because i didn't always follow his exact format somehow of concept explanation connection EVEN THOUGH I THOUGHT I WAS #or like in the first assignments.#i didn't do that in my replies to classmates... BC THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING I COULD REPLY TO #they deadass said things like 'yeah i agree' (end of response)#and most egregiously #i didn't understand how an assignment was supposed to be submitted bc the instructions were extremely vague and unclear #(everyone said this)#so he gave me a zero and said he couldn't find it. even though i posted it exactly where he told me to #on one of them he told me to cite every claim i make and i was fairly certain i did #so I asked what i didn't cite so i could be sure to look for that and not do it again #didn't respond but he gave me a 50 on it!

When Soda was still in school, whenever he had to read a novel for English class, instead of reading it himself, he'd have Ponyboy read it out to him.

His parents didn't love this since they'd really preferred Soda did his homework on his own, but they honestly didn't have the heart to stop it because Ponyboy just loved doing it.

I mean, he got to do two of his two favorite things at the same time, reading and spending time with his big brother. And besides, Soda's English grades always spiked when his class was doing novels because Ponyboy would also take the time to explain the book to Soda to make sure he understood it.

Even though Soda did eventually drop out and never willingly reached for a book ever again, occasionally he'll ask Ponyboy to read him one of his books out-loud before they go to bed because he knows a part of Ponyboy misses doing it.

I have finished The Angst Version™~ (of chapter 50 of The Harrowing by @chthonion >:D) The bonus chapter added some stuff/re-inspired me, which is all to the good imo~ gotta get that Maximum Angst Factor AMMIRIGHT?? >:D (also. Mostly paraphrasing stuff just so you're aware~)

Then we got some of the conversation~ (without dialogue, 'cause a picture tells a thousand words~ >:D)

Then a sketch that was completely inspired by the bonus chapter-

It's not as 'polished' as the other ones, I just had thoughts about that tidbit and decided I absolutely had to mention it- so it got a drawing to match. :D

And finally, because I don't want to end this on too depressing a note-

I'm not crying, you are.

My personal favourites include Extra Angry Maedhros + hands over the face Annatar, - then- actually. y'know what? I can't pick favourites. I like them all too much to do that. But that was the 'segment' that I experimented on - to try and convey the emotions through how chaotic/forceful the lines were, and it worked exactly how I wanted it to. Which is very satisfying.

(also, I don't think Maedhros was quite that visibly angry in the actual chapter, but it's supposed to be a mix of that plus Annatar's perception of him/what made Annatar panic. Make of that what you will. Eheh. Eheh. Eheh. >:D)
