If Heizou is the king of teasing Kaeya is the all knowing, all powerful, all mighty god of teasing.

And it's always the best one's too, but he decides to save the horrendous ones for completely normal times.

He has no life.

With no cavalry to captain he can't be the cavalry captain so with nothing to do most of the time he's glued to your hip.

he definitely has, for the most part, the 'kinda blank, unenthusiastic, uninterested' resting face, which i think a lot of people see as mean or rude, but that's just the lack of eyebrows i think, makes his eyes a lot more intense!!

holds the den den mushi really close to his heart. he probably spent a lot of time on marine bases so he saw them pretty regularly. i think he was at first curious, then after reading more about them smth just resonated and they've been one of if not his favorite creature since

long periods of time where he doesn't feel like really talking to anyone at length, which is kinda bad for the rev organization, but he has close friends who he shares administration with, like iva kuma and inazuma. he does like being involved and he thinks it's integral to be hands on, but he genuinely enjoys the mundane paperwork stuff they relegate to other members, like collecting newspapers clippings and searching into small time but sketch govt. officials

id say living w garp constantly made him have to mask all his social ineptitudes, plus making him realize very early on that he was Different and, to his father and the other people on base and ships, 'Wrong' in a way. he definitely feels better after the creation of the RA, and leaving all of that behind

he's on the quiet side, not speaking much (after realizing that when he did he was labeled as being 'offputting'), and i think given different circumstances he'd be way more outspoken, but i also think he doesn't mind being a more introspective person. his safe space is definitely his quarters and when he's by himself, and even then he mostly just chills out i think ^^

he's not as blunt as luffy in the sense of saying things he thinks without caring much, or denouncing things he doesn't agree with or thinks are stupid, but he's more questioning of everything- how and why it is the way it is, which i doubt the marines or his father liked.

if he did have any stims i think he'd gently sway with the wind and the leaves while out by the sea, its very soothing and calming. post having luffy he'd do that while facing the east ;;

if you're into dragodile, id say after meeting croco he'd have a special interest for sand, and have those multi colored little jars of it to give as gifts. post breakup he couldn't fully enjoy that hobby anymore, he probably tried to switch to leaf collecting since the wind carries over so many of them to him but it just wasn't for him.

another thing i think he could do is whistle if he's all by himself, like he's echoing the swirling winds <33

he's not photosensitive per say, but he dislikes bright things. but his son is the sun itself, and he loves him more than anything else. it'll always be luffy above himself in his heart, which makes his sacrifice oh him so much worse

What a fuckin' bastard. He's such a great character and antagonist, I love to hate him and hate to love him. Him being the sole reason this game even happened, and arguably causing more irreversible change to the universe as a whole as opposed to if he were to just let things play out as they would is such great dramatic irony. I love him and I hate him and I want to put him in a jar and shake it till he's nothing but sludge.

• Favorite moment

Any time he shows genuine fear (endlessly fighting Adversary and Networked Wild ending) is just incredible, and feels particularly cathartic when you interpret him as a gaslighting parent lol. Also special shout out to the 'I think you know who I am' when you go to the last mirror. Just. so good.

But for my fave moment, I think it gotta be the Moment of Clarity sequence. I saw many interpretations of it, and I think there's truth to all of them, but my personal favorite is that, in that moment, Narrator was able to relate to the princess.

Her suffering, her fears, the worst of her and how it can break her down, he saw himself in her, and didn't know what to do with it. Which is part of the reason he couldn't continue. And the most tragic of it all– that was still just another Echo. And any development/realization he had dies with him the moment he fades away to make space for the next Echo.

• Idea for a story

I have many scattered ideas relating to him, but a main one that keeps coming back, is Echo meeting other versions of himself. Other Echos from different loops, and, mainly– the one that started it all, Echo pre-construct, right before he killed himself. I think that'd be a really interesting character study, to make Echo face with the whole of what his choices did to him.

• Unpopular opnion

Uuuuuuuhhhhhh, not sure if it's really unpopular, but Echo's choices and character is more interesting if we take his claim of 'the world being close to an ending' as an extreme exaggeration, or smth like his personal world ending (a relationship, his main support system, his community, etc). There's just something incredibly human about it, and also, I just don't think it's interesting to make him smth of a 'hero of humanity' or whatever. Neither is it to make him purely a villain. He's literally just a guy who decided to mess with gods cuz he saw no other out to his situation.

• Favorite relationship

Echo & Shifty. Just– the vitriol, the hatred, the fact any time he actually interacts one-on-one with her, Shifty barely acknowledges him or return any of his resentment. How similar they actually are, but how they can never see each other face to face cuz of how fundamentally different their beliefs are.

• Favorite headcanon

This one is very heavy, so– [TW: suicide ment and suicidal ideation]

Whoever Narry was pre-construct was a deeply broken person who saw no out for his situation, but wanted to make sure he wouldn't leave without a significant mark on the world. So– he made the world's most convoluted suicide plan, with 'saving the world' as its rationalization for why he needed to go through that.

OH MY GOD I'M GLAD YOU ASKED HOLLUP [PULLS UP MY DAD MIKE/SON GREG HC LIST]

greg absolutely secretly looks up to mike's skill set as an artist. he loves to watch him doodle, mike is the type who'd feel conscious when someone watches him draw but,,, he grew to not mind and got use to greg watchin him draw. he can tell the kid is observing and absorbing what he can learn from simply watching him do art.

^^^ with that in mind, Mike often does catch Greg drawing too, when the lil guy is very proud of his work, he shows it off to him. Mike is very encouraging that he keeps up at it cuz he genuinely thinks the kid is doing great.

^^^ As i established in the previous ask, Greg loves to give art gifts to ppl he cares about. He does the same for Mike, especially in special occasions like father's day, or his birthday and whatnot. Mike displays them either in his room or by the fridge, he is very proud of his son's creative efforts!

Mike is not the best cook out there, you can hardly entrust the kitchen to him without him setting it on fire but he tries his best to do a decent job at making pulled pork recipes ever since he found out it's Greg's favorite.

Greg loves to collect all sorts of cute and silly plushies, anytime he spots any when they stroll across a shop or smth he's so ready to persuade Mike to let em buy it for him. It doesnt take a lot of effort to really, all he has to do is stare up at mike with puppy eyes and Mike knows the drill, he sighs and then painfully pulls out his wallet every time. it's worth it tho, it's for the kid

It's always like a russian roulette who wakes up earlier than who in the morning. Sometimes its Mike, sometimes its Greg. Mike usually preps breakfast, well...as best as he could perform the basics. He's shown the ropes to Greg at some point cuz even tho Greg's a kid, Mike acknowledges that he's capable. Greg's a fast learner, if he does a specific task so often enough, he gets good at it eventually. Its a lil funny tho cuz Greg almost does breakfast better than Mike at times. Greg has some fun making Mike's morning coffee for him, he appreciates it a lot. He thinks it's really sweet, he always affectionately ruffle Greg's morning bed hair as a gesture of thanks.

They have a swear jar in the household. No further elaboration needed i think.

Mike drives a motorcycle bike that used to be owned by his mom. Every time he tells Greg he's headin off somewhere for a quick errand, the lil guy insist he wanna come along solely cuz he wanna ride the bike as well. He enjoys being on the bike, he thinks its hella cool and he feels like flyin, he has to always promise Mike he'll behave just so he lets him come too.

They absolutely love movie nights as a hang out time. They both love watching movies, they just have a good time checkin out any film that peaks their interest. Having fun lil discussion bout it during or after watching and all that. Mike is amused when Greg has a lot to say, he just lets the lil guy share his thoughts bout it.

Whenever Mike gets a call that Greg got into another fight at school and it's often cuz other kid bullies got in Greg's nerve [especially if it's them insulting his guardian to his face] or cuz he tried to defend other kids from being bullied, Mike is so ready to throw hands with said kid bully's parents to defend Greg back. Theyre always on each other's side first and foremost.

When one of them catch the other still up in the middle of the night, the instant thought they have is "cant sleep?" presumably cuz the other most likely had another nightmare. It has happened so frequent, they just came to understand that tryin to pass the time doin other things is often the other best thing they can do to doze back to sleep. They had done plenty of things to pass the time at moments like it : be it watch another movie, draw together, just stargaze outside by the front porch etc etc. They appreciate the other for keepin them company. They've grown to try makin sure they never feel so alone anymore the best they can, cuz they arent anymore when they have each other.

the way my chest aches every time i think of my childhood and my teenhood just bc time can never be reversed and ill never be a kid again, playing in 2 feet of snow with my neighbors. ill never get annoyed at my parents for sleeping in on christmas day (even thought IM the reason they did!) ill never will i tip-toe on my moms flour jars to reach the chocolate in her pantry. i will never claim someone elses delivery food during lunch in high school so that my friends and i could have a random feast just before going back to class. (we only did this when the guy was about to leave bc no one came to pick it up, i swear). even though i absolutely despised high school and middle school, i miss the 'moments' i had, the ones i remember. having to time myself properly in the hall to give a shirt to an upperclass girl i thought was cute in middle school, because i only ever saw her outside my spanish room heading to another class. I'll never get to dress up like a juggalo again with another friend, (probably?) for a THIRD friends project, only to find out we missed our cue long before and walked in during a different project. we werent even in that class

i miss not having a phone on me at all time. i didnt have a smartphone until 9th or 10th grade. Through middle school i had several flip phones and texting was enough. i wish technology would slow down again, i wish everything everywhere wasnt focused on maximizing This or optimizing That. but we'll never go back and god it makes me ache for when things at least felt simpler, which obviously every old person of every generation feels like this at some point, but the way technology was still "new" and had a designated spot in the house, and we werent expected to be available all the time every day bc of it... i miss that. i miss when theyd teach actual internet safety, and how to type, and ALSO how to write (kids and high schoolers now have a hard time writing and having it be legible too, simply bc everything they do is on a fucking ipad or laptop... genuinely fuck school admins rn)

here it is finally!!! 3 of them!!!! first part is gonna be detailing how they got together and the rest is just mushy stuff HEEEHHERHKWJ

so in nuniqs canon, its already established shes dating astra before harbor gets recruited

after the whole realm chase comes to an end, harbor and astra spend time together researching radianite artifacts. nuniq, wanting to learn about herself, her relic, and her radiance, taps into these research sessions and finds herself befriending harbor

also she needs a distraction from all the fuckery thats happened to her in ep 5 anyway (mostly the mental and physical toll of the pearl missions alongside personal investigations she's doing for an agreement)

ANYWAY

nuniq and harbor get along quick. they talk about their lives, their similarities and differences, and find eachother to be good company

harbor admires nuniq's strength and resolve while she admires his studiousness and his passion for what he does

they also both note that theyre connected by water

smth about that leads to them agreeing to train with eachother - to explore n discover themselves, their power, and eachother as people

beyond that, harbor is just a huge sweetheart!! hes so nice and genuine to her, and it makes her feel safe and cared for. she feels a fondness and closeness towards him that she felt when she fell for astra

nuniq feels guilty about these feelings though- she's already in a relationship with astra, it feels like she's betraying her in some way

her feelings for harbor confuse her and she begins to question the state of her relationship with astra; she wonders whether it means she doesnt love her anymore (even if she feels like she does)

these thoughts stew in her head for a really long while and she tries to think of a way to break it to astra

before she can do that though, astra one-ups her and sits her down for a talk

nuniq feels scared, initially. she worried- knew even that someone as perceptive as astra would be able to pick up the littlest of changes

while nuniq braces herself for a confrontation, astra confesses that she's taken a liking to harbor

it makes sense ! astra is a very honest and loyal person, she isnt the type to lie or keep secrets from someone she really cares about so its very much like her to tell nuniq as soon as she realized her feelings

however its also Very jarring because that is not what nuniq expected to come out of her mouth at all

for one she's relieved that astra isnt mad about anything, and it prompts her to blurt that she likes harbor too

shes still confused what that means for their relationship though so the two talk it over

they affirm they still love each other, astra opens up the possibility that both of them should ask harbor out so all three of them could date !

astra gives nuniq the option to not pursue it of course- they dont have to do anything about it, they can stay as they are if nuniq wanted and she would totally respect that

nuniq does agree though and they ask harbor out the next day

now harbor has the two cool women he admires the most holding his hands :]

with the addition of harbor, architecture and archelogy documentaries have been added to space documentary viewing night

nuniq doesnt mind though she finds them super interesting

astra usually tests new beauty products with nuniq. harbor walked in on this once and now hes involved too (and eagerly waits for new arrivals)

they all take care of eachother its wonderful ???

harbor leaving them glasses of water so they stay hydrated, giving them massages when theyre sore,,,,

nuniq checking on their relics after a mission to make sure they haven't overexerted, making little snacks (or even meals) to make sure theyre always well fed,

MEALS.... about that... oh my god they definitely take turns cooking for eachother

and if theyre lazy they can just go to a restaurant . they cycle who chooses every time

goddd they would love experiencing food from eachothers cultures... kitchen always smells good when theyre in charge

as in screaming yelling gripping the couch gripping eachother shaking eachother

thinking abt how stampede handles wolfwoods introduction compared to other versions, and to me it kind of fails in a way. one of the big things about wolfwood's character is that he's kind right? he's a good person who was forced to be cruel. they show his soft side by having him interact with kids. it plays out a little differently depending on version, but essentially he sees some kids having a rough time and sacrifices smth (money or food) so they can be more comfortable. its esp poignant in trimax where they were literally stealing from him so it would be understandable if he got mad, but he isn't at all. and this follows the scene of him haggling with the driver, so we know for a fact that wolfwood is not in a good place.

meanwhile in stampede, the the kid wolfwood interacts with is zazie? and at the end of the ep its revealed that they know each other, that wolfwood is working with knives, etc. so it just makes that earlier scene look like a setup, at least thats how it seemed to me the first time i watched the ep.

it also feels a little less genuine than the moment wolfwood had with the kids in the other versions, i'm not sure why. maybe it's because the scene goes by too fast. or because of how different wolfwood is in stampede (he’s so much meaner than his past versions!) so the kindness we see here is just. obscured by how bitchy he is in half of his other scenes. if i'm to believe wolfwood is a good guy, i need to see him be good sometimes idk?

vash's comment about him being good in ep 4 is so jarring to me because it feels like he has zero reason to say that. ik it's maybe not supposed to be 'reasonable' since he doesn't even give an actual reason aside from the ~his eyes~ thing which is not logical at all lmao, just based on vibes. and i do sort of trust that vash has good instincts and can tell when a person is trustworthy or not based on vibes. but when i watched it as someone unfamiliar with the original trigun, unaware who wolfwood was, i was confused as to why exactly vash decided to trust wolfwood aside from maybe his general faith in humanity. the nicest thing wolfwood does is give the kid a lollipop which is sweet but in this context it doesn't have the same effect as giving him his money or smth (and as i said the effect is kinda retroactively belied by the fact that its zazie, not some rando he has no connection too). 

to be fair, his intro scene serves other purposes in stampede. we learn about wolfwood's past in the orphanage, which is important to introduce because his arc with livio is addressed later in the season. it also ties into vash's new internal conflict in stampede about eating and self flagellation and stuff. but that ends up being kinda detrimental to the scene too? instead of saying something normal to the kid that makes us go ‘aww hes good with kids!’ it literally just feels like he’s talking to vash, which he would not be because wolfwood has known vash for 5 minutes atp. obviously im not expecting stampede to copy the scene from the manga or 98, but the fact that they included an analogue of it means to me that they're obviously aware of how important it is to wolfwood's character. still, they managed to execute it in a way that sort of fails to communicate something i personally consider fundamental to his character in any version.
