One thing y’all gotta know about me is that anything and everything reminds me of South Park fanfiction yesterday I was eating grapes and thought about Kyle crashing out at his party in Hunger Pains. Every time I see someone wearing a barrette in their hair I think about Jwink85’s Tweeks. A bag of spinach and my mind goes to one tiny moment of To Have And To Hold. A red umbrella, I’m thinking of So Happy Together. Filling up a bird feeder, Winter Butterfly. Shakespeare references and I got There’s A Reason Intimacy Is In Fight Call on the brain. Road trip? The Scenic Route, obviously. Gardening you know I’m thinking of Raised Garden Beds. Can’t watch my partner play gta without wanting to reread This House Of Mine. Any time I have to do math it’s Painted In Shrouds. Okay but seriously fr I could fill an ocean with all the random things I now associate with Winter Butterfly in particular like fym the sticker on an apple got me in a mood. I am not sane. We knew this.

Rescued Whumpee breaking down because they're so frustrated with themselves. They're out, they're save, they shouldn't be like this anymore.

And yet, that sound, that word, that situation, that name, whatever it is, it sends them right back to the start, like they haven't made any progress at all.

They can feel it, the panic creeping up on them, their mind slowly going back there. They can't stop the tremors in their hands, or their breath coming too fast, their heartbeat picking up. They know they're out, but they can't stop this.

The frustration and anger turning into exhaustion. After screaming and throwing something at the wall, they just collapse and start sobbing. They shouldn't be like this anymore.

Why won't it just go away?

Dude oh my GOD?!? Thank you so much for saying this man seriously. TWITR is one of my favorites and every time someone new expresses their enjoyment of it I cry bc at the time I was posting it, I only had a TINY handful of supporters, who were and are awesome, but seeing the hits go up but not the kudos was discouraging as fuck.

The story getting more love lately is so rad, dude, like when I say I had less than 20 likes by the last chapter I’m not kidding, so months later, people actually checking it out despite it not being at the top of the page when you go to read sp is INCREDIBLE!!!

And when readers tell me stuff like “I saw a spider and was like “this bitch is watching me”” or “I will never look at windowsill flowerpots the same way again” THAT MEANS THE WORLD!!! All I ever want is to leave an impact or at least a spot of healing for someone with my writing, even with TWITR being a darker piece.

I’ve been scared of those 8 legged fucks my whole life and when I was writing the og story I was seeing them everywhere at work. Every time I work in that universe I stg I see more of them around. Like the ENTIRE reason the au exists is bc I had a weird ass dream with a bunch of spiders and decided to South Park on it.

I was rereading The Webs In The Rafters and felt a tickle on my hand and there was a spider just randomly on me. Terrible experience but also greatly enhanced the horror reading experience I must be honest

Bro oh my GOD I absolutely get that you know why I’m currently working on a TWITR verse story that heavily features the history of Kyle’s experience pre main story? Because i recently moved into a lake house and even growing up on a lake, I was always terrified of those big ass water spiders. They’re here too. I despise spiders like those eight legged fucks scare the shit out of me the ENTIRE REASON that this fanfic series exists is because PCE is severely arachnophobic.
