Reverie thought, tapping his chin with a feather. 'Let's goooooo!!' Orbee cheered, spinning around their father. Shaking his head, the Dream Fae chuckled. "Right, right." He agreed.

Magolor shook out his hands, hyping himself up. 'You got this Wiz, all of us are gonna be there for you!' Beep encouraged him through their connection so as not to draw too much attention to him. He grinned back at her. 'Right, I can do this. I can do this.' The Halcandran repeated, feeding his confidence.

Pulling Reverie's wing, Beep urged him on. "c'moooOOOOOON-" She shouted. "Ok, ok! Just one second!" Her father pleaded, turning to the corner of the room. "You ready, Hermit?" He asked. The Matter, not fully submerged in darkness, crept out a little at being acknowledged. "Want to… just scared… go out…" Hermit explained. Since arriving on the Starcutter, they hadn't once left.

"Aawh, what’s so scary out there, Hermie?" Beep questioned, hoping to assuage their fears. "More people… more eyes…" Hermit mumbled. They felt safe with everyone here, but strangers were still dangerous. "That's why we're going at night, much less people around." Magolor reminded them, ready to share some of his own confidence with them. "Some still…" They replied.

"I’m way scarier." Beep told them, prompting a slow blink. "Beep not scary… Beep safe…" Hermit disagreed. "Beep will be scary to anyone that scares you!" She corrected herself with a wide smile. "You’ll be safe Hermit, promise." The fellow Matter added, the younger of them nodding. She had always been right before, so she must be right now. "Ok… Trust Beep… Ready…" Hermit decided. "Then we're set! We'll see ya later, Lor!" Reverie waved, finally reaching the exit. 'Byyyyye!' Orbee joined in. "I'll text ya when we're getting back." Magolor promised. The AI was busy already, prepping for whatever outcome may come of this. ">Be safe everyone." Lor insisted. "WOOOOO-" Beep hollered, flying out the door.

I wasn't sure Tristan could manage a bedtime food puzzle with the cone, but he was very insistent that he deserved one. So we tried it. And to my surprise, he handled it very well. It wasn't as smooth & easy as usual, but it seemed like he appreciated the opportunity to smack something a bit. I understand. I feel that way too sometimes.

it goes from "being glad that noctis is getting out of the house and hanging out with other kids from his class" straight to "forced to work a minimum wage job as punishment" rather quickly 😂😂

not that prompto is a bad kid, far from it. it's just like in ATLA where Aang is competent on his own and Sokka is competent on his own but put them together and you get two idiots? yeah exactly that

regis is perfectly fine with it and even finds it amusing. he thinks of noctis getting into trouble as a rite of passage of being a teenager

gladio, ignis, and the crownsguard on the other hand are pulling their damn hair out chasing these two boys around 😂

they were instructed to just hang back and let noctis do his thing, protect from a distance and all that. except some of the shenanigans require a more hands on approach in the form of ignis's famous scolding lectures and gladio's famous slap to the back of the head

Dedede stood completely stone-faced, staring at the anon. Everyone in the room was some degree of uncomfortable and angry with the insinuation. Blinking, Beep was the first to recover. "Should I do it or do you want to?" She offered. The king paused, clearly considering it. "Y'know what? Ah get to toss plenny a these guys out, ah'll let you do the honors." He ultimately decided.

The biggest mischievous grin spread across her face. "Why thank you, your majesty!~" Beep replied in a sing-songy tone, zipping up to the anon and grabbing them. "You really get off on telling lies, huh?" The Matter noted, starting to spin them. "Well, that’s the whole point why we’re here, isn’t it? Because we shouldn’t have to live lies!" Abruptly, her spin ceased, yeeting them out a window. "SO GET LOST AND LET US GET BACK TO LIVING OUR TRUE LIVES!!" She shouted after them.

Thunderous applause erupted from everyone still in the room with the exception of Hermit, who applauded quietly despite how jarring the noise was. "Now That's how it's done!!" Dedede cheered. "YESSSS, AWESOME THROW, BEEP!" Magolor exclaimed, pumping his fists. Floating to the window, Orbee raspberried in the flung anon's direction. Feeding into the praise, Beep took a bow. "Thank you!" She grinned.

"Thank you for using a window!" Bandana added gratefully. "Hey-" The king huffed in response, playfully upset. "I’m not aiming next time Bandanna, sorry." Beep warned them, the waddle dee deflating. "Hahah, that's, what I'm used to." They half-heartedly chuckled. "Not like it ain't deserved. Ah'll try not ta give ya more repair work than ah need to." The king offered.

"You say that, but there's gonna be more." Gremlin pointed out, prompting a shrug from the penguin. "Cain't be helped. And ah said 'more than ah need to'." Dedede reminded him. He had chosen the phrase purposefully. "Make a spot specifically to throw them from, they wanna feel special, after all." Beep figured. "Not a bad idea, certainly happens enough to warrant it." The king conceded.

Reverie tapped his chin before speaking up. "You could just, like, install a doggy door." He suggested. "HA! Ah like the way ya think, Feathers!" Dedede complimented, seriously considering the idea. "PERFECT!!!" Beep exclaimed enthusiastically. Despite the rude comment, the atmosphere was even more relaxed than before. And Magolor was extremely grateful that Beep had taken the heat off him for a moment.
