“i don’t even wanna be in this shit place…” he groaned inwardly. ‘it’ll be good for you to gain some perspective.’ perspective my fucking ass. running his fingers through his tangled hair before taking another sip of the burning liquid. if he really thought about, him being here was best case scenario… away from the company — from his father. fuck. he tilted the glass once more and downed it in one go before slamming down. this time he groaned aloud drawing some eyes towards him. “fuck you looking at?” he muttered only to receive soft gasps and glares. he looked like shit and he knew it— dark eyes, shaggy hair, and this was his… fourth drink? dark hues met lighter ones behind the counter. “ay,” his fingers tapped the counter twice. “‘nother round.” best to keep'em coming.

as much as ivy did not want to be back in the place she once called home, she was. this place held more bad memories than good, but she couldn’t stay away forever. the last thing she wanted was to run into people that she knew, but it was inevitable. ivy was standing out on the edge of the water, staring ahead of her at whatever was there. anyone that passed by would assume she was daydreaming, but she was still heavily alert. the second she heard footsteps behind her, she slightly jumped and whipped around. “goodness, you scared me!” a slightly nervous laugh escaping her lips.

“you know the best part about being out here again?” niamh questioned, eyes turning to the familiar face who had approached her as she stood by the lake “nobody misspelling, or mispronouncing my name. i mean, i’m not nim-hah.” she laughed.

The redhead laced her old and trusty Nike shoes, making sure the laces are inside so when she takes a walk through the site, she won’t end up like Cinderella, with one shoe off. “So? Are you joining me or what?” Daisy asked the person near her, maybe they heard her previous question, maybe not. She didn’t care very much, it was more of a courtesy rather than anything else.

nina's eyes scanned the pages to her bible as she sat on the dock, her feet emerged in the warm lake water as she focused on what she was reading. everything appeared to be calm, and for that she was grateful. but when she heard someone coming down the dock she quickly looked up and offered them an apologetic smile. "sorry! am i in your way? i can leave." she explained as she began packing up her things.

“um,” vance cleared his throat soft, trying to get the stranger’s attention in front of him. “do you know where the on-site general store is?” his frantic eyes scanned the other’s face as if trying to find an answer before they spoke. his whole toiletry bag, including his pills, had been lost through traveling. it would take a few days, maybe four max, to get them sent to the nearest pharmacy (which wasn’t super nearby). just the thought made his heart race with an all-too familiar anxiety. “i’m sorry, wouldn’t bother you if it wasn’t important.”

it was already enough of a pain in her ass that they had been asking olly to give them a ride into town–a serious pain in her ass. and usually ass pains were a normal occurrence for olyvia.–but now they wouldn’t just shut the fuck up about whatever the fuck they were even talking about and olly had warned them about talking during the drive. with a roll of her eyes she groaned obnoxiously, turning to face the other, “okay, so obviously your frontal lobe is not fully developed."

the mug that her fingers once held slammed onto the counter with a thud, coffee droplets sloshing over the sides of the cup. “breathe, girl, breathe...” did she not ask for a hot, caramel coffee with three creams and two sugars? first they up-ed the price on the coffee even though just yesterday it was four bucks ( now five ) but they also messed up her coffee order for the third time. no, this would not do. “uh, excuse me?” she cleared her throat one good time. maybe this waitress was hard of hearing. maybe she needed to speak louder. “this coffee isn’t right--- again. it taste horrible and frankly i don’t want it anymore. i would like a refund.” her arms crossed her chest almost pridefully. if looks could kill this waitress would have died five minutes ago. she knew she shouldn’t have come to this town. she needed to be home, with her father. not in some ditch place in oregon. “ma’am, i can’t---” the brunettes brows shot up, silencing the other before they could continue. “can’t what? i think i deserve this refund.” damn straight she was going to get this refund even if it was the last thing she ever did. her petite frame twisted in her seat giving the stranger seated behind her a pointed look. “you think i deserve this refund, right? i mean,” she shrugged. “it only seems fair, am i wrong?” her gaze shifted between the waitress and the stranger impatiently. “well?”

ivy pushed her sunglasses onto the top of her head as she walked outside, phone in hand. she had a tank top and some shorts on, her hair tied up. “hey, do you wanna come grab some brunch with me?” she saw the familiar face walking past, and decided to invite them to hang with her.

mason smiled as he saw a familiar face walking out of their cabin. "hey!" he yelled, trying to get their attention as he waved his hand. "i was just going to get some wood for the campfire." he explained as he pointed to the forest. "wanna join me? i could use some muscles." he teased, as he waited at the bottom of the steps.

todd blinked a few times taking in his surroundings. the room seemed simple enough. he gruffed in a approval before slinging his bag onto his bed. he was here for one reason and one reason only; he needed to know what happened to his parents. nothing and no one could get in his way of that. sure it was a bit hardcore but a distraction was the last thing he needed on his plate. this was a mission, a job. nothing more, nothing less. pulling a few papers out of his small bag his eyes skimmed over it before hearing the door slam close behind him. shit. folding the papers once he shoved it back into his bag right as a voice broke the silence of the room. “s’cuse me?” a light grin played on his lips. might as well make himself likable. easier to get information that way.
