Headcanon abt OPM espers in relation to MP100 espers: 

While they seem to be widely different, I feel they can’t be too dissimilar as they’re the same base concept used in two works by the same author and that the huge variety in MP’s espers is due more to ONE getting a chance to explore the concept more widely than in OPM.  As a result, I’m of the belief that OPM espers’ powers, while not so spiritual in nature as some MP espers, would be able to work on spirits.  We just never see this happen because almost all the threats in OPM are physical rather than ethereal/spiritual. [Spoiler for an audio CD/the OPM webcomic below]

In a particular audio CD it’s revealed that Tatsu may be afraid of ghosts because her powers don’t work on them.  Now the ghost she tried to use her powers on turned out to be Saitama, who her powers don’t work on bc of his strong will, but there’s more to it. 

Headcanon 2: When held as a test subject/prisoner, Tatsu’d been subject to sleep deprivation and illness, which, gone untreated, can lead to hallucinations.  They were occasional for her, but at one point she saw ghosts around her.  She tried to attack them with her powers, but because they weren’t really there, they appeared unaffected.  The trauma caused by that experience made her believe truly that ghosts can’t be affected by her powers, causing mental blocks that would actually hamper her ability to fight against spirits in the case that she encountered them.  If these blocks could be removed somehow then she could overcome that difficulty and use her powers on them, but as it is, she can’t.

What made you decide to make a Neku RP blog?

     OutOfPsych; Eh, well, I’ve been looking for an outlet to channel my writing into, something that I was good at and could keep documentation of for a virtual portfolio of sorts. Overflowing muse plus ample time spent on tumblr equals roleplay. Makes sense to me, anyway. ouo Neku came about by me simultaneously playing TWEWY over again. You have no idea just how asdfghjkl’ing rad I think the game and fandom can be, so how could I not? Plus Square Enix has a special place in my heart, and playing Neku allows me to interact with KH and FF characters without any kind of strain.

Mun Update

    Things have been going (mostly) smooth during my recovery! My doctor said that I was going to be exhausted after doing things while I recover but I have not had this experience at all. Honestly I’m having a hard time finding stuff to do. I’m pretty much off painkillers except ibuprofen and never even started the bottle of oxycodone my doctor gave me since I had a few leftover from surgery in August.

    That said I’m now extra stuck in my house because my mom tested positive for covid. She’s been overworking because two employees tested positive and I’m surprised it hasn’t shut down yet. I myself haven’t tested and have no means of getting one, but I’m being extra careful. Wearing a mask when I leave my room and stuff. 

    Basically, expect me to be here a lot because I have nothing else I can do. Hoping that grubs show up soon so I at least have stock to feed my gecko since I’m pretty much out.
