1. Court upholds a landmark clean-heat rule in Southern California

“Late last week, a federal court upheld the first-in-the-nation regulation, which will gradually eliminate emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from more than 1 million fossil-gas appliances in […] greater Los Angeles. […] “This decision recognizes our air regulators’ long-established authority to adopt life-saving protections[….]” The measure is ultimately expected to reduce pollution by 5.6 tons of NOx per day — the same as halving smog-forming emissions from cars in the region.”

2. Curlews 'flying beautifully' after release in Kent

“Twenty-five chicks, hatched and reared in captivity […], are now young adults and flying free in their new habitat. The release is part of a wider programme aimed at restoring breeding populations in areas where they have been lost. 5. Genetic tweak in mosquitoes blocks malaria transmission without affecting insect health

““Replacing a single amino acid in mosquitoes with another naturally occurring variant that prevents them from being infected with malarial parasites—and spreading that beneficial trait throughout a mosquito population—is a game-changer," said Bier, a professor[….] The new system is designed to genetically spread the malaria resistance trait until entire populations of the insects no longer transfer the disease-causing parasites.”

For Kirk's palette we would have a warm tan for the daily, a beautiful soft orange with gold shimmer to wear at important events, wrap-around green with coppery shimmer for dating Spock and intense yellow with gold glitter for the diva inside.

And for McCoy's palette we would have his modest blue, baby blue with silver shimmer for being fancy, a cold grey to frame the judgy eyes and champagne with baby blue glitter when feeling bold.

My engineering class decided to make a care package to send to Glohra. They spent all weekend putting it together. It was really nice.

They packed all kinds of stuff like snacks, a datapad with some new holovids and music, and a pair of stilts so she can fit in with the local clones.

It's really great to see how much these younglings care about each other <3

What if MY is lost tech though? WRH very quickly stops being a disgraced engineer when people realize he has the only still working humanoid droid and the droid in queation has no desire to get separated from him

If MY is lost tech, good luck even looking at him for too long, WRH would be expremely protective of him, but also would wallow in showing him off lol. And not only bc MY is already extraordinary on his own, but bc his repairs are just so good that MY is doing as well as new XD.

Even if MY was amenable to letting others study him, I'd like to see who would be brave enough to cross WRH, but if you add the fact that MY does not, in fact, want anyone else to touch him bc he already has a brilliant engineer taking care of him, then oooohhh boi.

And I can imagine that MY would also enjoy how WRH worships him, so going from him to any other engineer that would only see him as a pretty project? Nah 😌

WRH regaining his former glory only means that he can provide even better stuff for his little android, so all the more reason to stick together :')
