Let’s lay down the basics of Omegaverse biology:

🔸 Omegas experience Heats (three types) 🔸 Alphas experience Ruts🔸 Betas don’t usually have hormonal shifts, though rare exceptions do occur

Betas are biologically stable and do not undergo ruts/heats in 99% of cases. They’re often the emotional core of the pack.

🛏️ NESTS & DENS

What are they? Personal safe spaces that reflect comfort, scent, and personality.

Omegas create Nests

Alphas & Betas create Dens

🧺 Essentials include:

Clothing (your own and sometimes your mate’s)

Snacks & Drinks

Blankets, quilts, and pillows

Special or sentimental items (photos, plush toys, scent markers)

🖌️ Nests/Dens usually match the person’s aesthetic—whether that's cottagecore, goth, maximalist, etc. Think “emotional sanctuary” built from scratch.

🦷 BONDING MARKS

🩸 All dynamics can leave non-platonic bite marks in key bonding areas:

Neck (front/sides/back)

Shoulders

Upper back

Each mark is unique to the biter’s teeth pattern and:

Is very sensitive for 2 weeks

Requires icing + covering

Can be surgically removed if given in abusive relationships

⚠️ Bonding marks can only be formed during a Sexual Heat.Not during a Warm or Dry heat.

🌡️ TYPES OF HEATS (OMEGA ONLY)

🌤️ WARM HEATS

“Gentle reset.”

🕒 2–4 days 📍 Common during:

Age 14–17

Pregnancy/Postpartum

Omegas age 40+

💧 Symptoms:

Feverish but calm

Cuddly, sweet scent

Drowsy, nesting behavior

Non-sexual

💡 Care: Cuddles, rest, hydration, gentle presence

🔥 SEXUAL HEATS

“The mating drive is ON.”

🕒 2–6 days 📍 Common ages: 17–40

💧 Symptoms:

Restlessness, slick production

Seductive scent

Lack of appetite

Strong nesting drive

Hazy, fevered

💡 Care: Knots, hydration, emotional grounding. Don’t force food—just fluids.

🌪️ DRY HEATS

“Something’s wrong.”

🕒 2–7 days 📍 Occurs due to:

Unsafe environment

Abuse (emotional, mental, physical)

Lack of bonds or pack structure

Overwhelming stress

💧 Symptoms:

Cramps, fear, separation anxiety

Headache, numbness, intense emotion or emotional void

Distressed scent

💡 Care: Never leave them alone. Hydrate, feed, stay present. If conditions worsen—seek medical intervention.

🐺 PACK STRUCTURE

Two types: 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Birth Family💖 Found Family

Each pack has a unique dynamic but often includes:

🧠 Head Alpha – Leader, responsible, protector

🫶 Head Beta – Nurturer, organizer, steady influence

🫂 Head Omega – Emotional anchor, comfort-giver

🐣 Pups – Ages 1–25 (can be Alpha, Beta, or Omega)

📝 Betas don’t experience heats/ruts but are vital in heat regulation and maintaining pack balance.

Alpha x Omega

Yes, Betas can get pregnant with Alphas. Omegas can also have pups with Betas.

Pregnancy pairings:

Alpha x Beta → Beta gets pregnant

Alpha x Omega → Omega gets pregnant

Beta x Omega → Omega gets pregnant

Litter Size: 1–8 pups per birth Dynamics are randomized. A Beta + Omega can still have an Alpha pup!

👶 Fun Pup Facts:

Pup scent lasts until ~25 years old

Omega pups teethe HARD (pup pops = lifesavers)

All dynamics (yes, even Betas) make wolf-like vocalizations

“Mom” = birthing parent | “Dad” = the other parent (any gender)

Pups are raised communally—everyone’s an auntie/uncle

Strong scents can overwhelm pups! This is normal.

Tango had survived the old park and on the outskirts of the new park, along with being captured and put in a cage of some weird enclosure. With all she had been through her long historied life, one would think her survival would be coming to a end, especially since now the old raptor had to adapt to a new set of changes once she found herself out side the weird enclosure.

She had survived scavanging off the bigger predators kills and stealing kills from strange animals. She stayed away from cities and towns, because she had learned not to trust humans, there was once a time she had trusted one but he was long gone especially after the big one took over and asserted her domenance. She only ventured into the populated areas after night fall to scavange what she could eat, until one night she had stepped into a trap and tranqed.

When she awoke she found herself in a metal container that vaguely reminded her of her childhood. She pressed snout to one of the holes, after she had unsteady gotten to her feet and got used to the movement of the container as it moved down the road, and sniffed trying to catch some scents
