As much as people criticized Star Fox Adventures, it will always be one of my favorite Star Fox Games. I really do wish that Nintendo would’ve left it as Dinosaur Planet, but at the same time I’m a bit thankful we got this version with the Star Fox Team.

During the Game Cube’s prime, SFA pushed certain limits to showcase the Game Cube’s hardware (something Rare did allot with the N64). The texture of Fox’s fur for an example. Each strand is individual. Nintendo was usually known to use Star Fox to showcase the limits of their consoles (since the original Star Fox for the SNES used the ‘Super FX Chip’). This would also be the last game Rare would do for Nintendo before being sold and bought out by Microsoft (in which the company is still active but many of the original Rare team left)

This game has such a special place in my heart. While the story is a bit whacky and all over the place at times, I love it for all of its beautiful flaws. It truly is a product of its time.

ATTRACTION - Rocket thinks Fox looks good (real good) but it's not just that, it's that Fox and him get along really well and they have chemistry. What started out as a simple intrigue turned into full on attraction.

AFFECTION - He's warmed up to the idea of being affectionate with Fox at least in private, and while he's growing into that role, there is still room for more. It should come in time, but there's no further anyone could be at their point in their relationship. In time this bar will be filled out completely.

INTEREST - There is so much about Fox and his world that is interesting to Rocket. He wants to get to know him so much and make memories with him as well.

LOYALTY - Rocket's loyalty to Fox and view of Fox's loyalty to him is as high as it can be at the point they are in their relationship. He knows they're together but also he's not sure how long that will last, and he fears Fox moving on from what they have going. Being they have to deal with a lot of distance between them he fears to some degree that's going to make things hard, more so for Fox than himself because he knows he's content with the relationship. He does however worry that Fox may not be equally happy and that mostly stems from Rocket not seeing much in himself.

TRUST - Rocket's trust takes time to really earn but he would say he trusts Fox. The main reason I know we can't rank higher at our current point (generally speaking) is because Rocket could easily be convinced that Fox will move on. This is more a reflection on Rocket than it is of Fox, because Fox has never been anything but good to Rocket. In a sense, Rocket is his own saboteur waiting for things to go sideways and his trust issues may be the crux of their relationship issues. They are at the early stages of their relationship so this will strengthen with time and testing their bonds.

This is an incredible piece that @guardian-rocket had drew for me back in 2016. I used to have quite an active Fox McCloud Tumblr, and during that time it was incredible (all the RP’s I had). Of corse I really got to know the AWESOME MUN of this amazing Rocket, and we became AMAZING FRIENDS. During the time he had drew this for me, I was going through a very rough point in my life dealing with depression (amongst other things). I will forever love and be grateful for you, and our love for Rocket x Fox, and because of you I got so into GOTG. It’s so funny how I didn’t know anything about Rocket (Or Marvel) back then because I was too tapped into my own little world. I’m so glad I accepted your RP request, and I am so glad that we still have a wonderful bond. Thank you for still being an amazing friend to me and continue being awesome! Fox McCloud is fiercely loyal to his team and anyone who treats him with respect, dignity, and kindness. He's the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, so if you show him some goodness, you can bet he'll do the same for you. His loyalty to his team—Falco, Slippy, and Peppy—is like family to him. He holds them in the highest regard, and that loyalty is rooted in the deep bonds they've forged over time. They've always had his back, and he'll always have theirs.

There is actually ALLOT of things that Make Fox happy.

Rather he's traversing a variety of different galaxies, or soaring through the skies with his trusty companion, his Arwing (and of corse his crew). He finds happiness in the simple things.

Bonding: He finds happiness in the deep bonds he builds with his crew and friends he makes along his travels. His crew is so much more than that tho. They are family.

Growth: Personal growth is one thing that stems from his happiness. Self-improvement and growth (also seeing that in others truly warms his heart).

Balance: Despite his demands and strict-duties he likes to pursue other passions outside of arial combat, taking time to rejuvenate and take care of himself. Simple things like taking the time to groom his fur or spending time with those he cares about not only help him de-stress, but assist in keeping him grounded. He knows that there is so much more than just being stuck in Space all of the time, despite having an undying love for the skies.

Tranquility: In the midst of chaos and conflict, Fox cherishes moments of peace and quiet. Whether he's stargazing from the Great Fox's observation deck or taking flight through the cosmos, moments of solitude provide him with a sense of calm and perspective.

For Fox McCloud, happiness is about those he cares about, the meaningful things he does, the peaceful moments he enjoys, and the journey of self-improvement and balance. It's about feeling fulfilled inside and connected to others, as he works towards making not only Corneria but the galaxy a better place.
