Hi !! Where I'm from they're not talking about the fires anywhere and I was wondering what was being done to help and such. Are the fires under control yet ??

No, they’re still burning. More fires are forming daily. They’ve called in the Canadian army to help with the fires because we’ve literally used all available fire fighters in Western Canada. They’re now training soldiers to be fire fighters; that’s how serious this is.

We’ve asked for international help for these fires too.

Oh gosh, thank you! Thank you so much for this message, I always see these long-winded rants on tumblr and I’m just like ….? They talk about things like it’s an epidemic and I literally have not heard anything about the topic. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, but people on this place do this thing where they get upset about something (nothing wrong with that) but then they act like it’s their devoted mission to preach it to every individual on this website. And god forbid you don’t agree with them.
