Cato traced his hand carefully over Pixel's hair. "Shh girlie, shh.." he cooed as he waited for Pixel to come out of the nightmare in her own way. Once she did, Cato offered an open arm to pull the girl in close, resting his chin on the top of her head. "I know it's scary.. It's alright.. you're alright.."

'Dead, dead they were all dead,' she mumbled into his shirt, fingers clutching at the material as if it was the only thing driving the shadows from her mind. 'My fault, I-I couldn't keep them happy so they left and died.' Snuffing and sniffing she peered up at Cato with red eyes, 'You won't leave will you? I like you, dun want you to die.'

"I haven’t really had many close friends… most of the time I just read or helped mom in her workshop. But I was good friends with a girl called Clarence before she moved to Sinnoh. She was really nice and she had a Happiny, but she never trained or battled with it. It was just a dare. The house didn't even look that haunted. From the outside. He stood stock still in the center of the grand room, an unnerved sensation creeping up his spine. It was darker before, but now the room was growing lighter with a soft flickering blue glow. His eyes widened, first in confusion and then, horror. He looked up. The chandelier above him was lit now. And it was staring down at him with wide, empty eyes.
