I feel so bad for Skarloey when he is upset. His poor little face. I'll give him an enormous slice of chocolate cake to make him feel better.

I also headcanon that everyone immediately looks after Skarloey when he is upset and makes sure that he is alright. Rheneas brings him tea, Sir Handel brings him crisps (he tries. It does amuse Skarloey though, so it technically works), Peter Sam gives him a hug, Rusty has a positive pep talk with him, and Duncan pats him on the shoulder (he also tries, and Skarloey understands what he means). Skarloey appreciates it greatly.

The narrow gauge engines are like an unofficial family to me. Duke is the great-grandparent, Skarloey and Rheneas are the grandparents, Sir Handel and Duncan are the children, and Peter Sam and Rusty are the grandchildren. Luke is the great-grandchild that was taken in later.

I made DogPoo Petuski as a Sentinel 100 HP BE Type shunter, Towelie as a Great Western Railway (GWR) brake van, Tweek Tweak as a post-war Leyland Motors Tiger bus, Ike Broflovski as a Talyllyn Railway's No. 4, Edward Thomas, Damien Thorn as a Aveling-Barford R class steamroller, Mr. Hanky as a North Eastern Railway's 2-2-4T No. 66, named "Aerolite", Gregory of Yardale as a LNER Class A4 Pacific steam locomotive, Saddam Hussein as a AEC Bridgemaster double-decker bus, and Jesus Christ as a Japanese National Railways (JNR) Class D51 steam locomotive

Refreshing Pep Talk

While Waiting For The Next Job, Peter Sam Stopt By The Refreshment Lady To See How She And Her Shop’s Holding Up After A Long Time, And Then Having A Nice Pep Talk :3

merry christmas!

after another rough encounter with George earlier that year that resulted in a derailment, and a guy's car getting damaged, Sir Handel spent the rest of the few months stewing over it. come christmas, while he and the rest of the Skarloey crew were at the lake side restauraunt. Sir Handel said that what he wants the most for Christmas was to give George a good thrashing with a cricket bat.

unfortunately, Peter Sam, Ivo hugh, and Duncan didn't realize that sir handel was just saying this out of anger, and took it seriously. so they rented a box lorry, drove over to George's house, and kidnapped him. (Ivo Hugh came along because he didn't want to miss out on the action). then they drove back to Sir Handel's house where they presented him with George rolled up in a rug, gagged, and wrapped in shiny paper with a big bow slapped on him.

Duncan also handed Sir Handel a Cricket bat and told him to "Beat him !!^%$#!!"

needless to say that Sir Handel was horrified that they actually went out and kidnapped George. but he was too afraid to let George go because he might call the police on them, but also had no idea what to do with him.

they ended up calling Skarloey who came down to see for himself.

Oh my, that is certainly a headcanon...

Sir Handel says a lot of things out of anger, not always meaning what he says. Some people, like Peter Sam, take things literally, and that's when things go wrong...

I'm curious as to what Skarloey said.
