GreyStripe's Vow rewrite comic. I wanted to show more of Fang/HoneyFang's distress towards Daffodil wanting to go with the humans after the cats were all freed from the hoarding house. I will gladly accept any questions about the rewrite and more specifically, Fang and Daffodil's relationship
(Also Fang/HoneyFang is a woman in the rewrite)

Finally got around to making that fusion grid I was talking about!! Rather than all my favorites, I decided to go with my favorite clerics! The column is Cinderpelt, Spottedleaf and Leafpool, while the row has Frostdawn, Petunia and Littlecloud.
Each slot costs $7 on PayPal; just send me a DM saying what you'd like, and I'll give you the link. If you want a litter instead of just a single fusion/hypokit, each additional kit will be an extra $4. If you don't have money, but still want to claim a slot, I'll gladly take a hypokit trade!

The final Super Editions Minor Characters list! Starting off with Graystripe's Vow, now under the new name - Graystripe's Clan.
Minor Characters under the cut
Unknown number of Bloodclan leaders after Scourge - 3 leaders. The first after Scourge was Screech, the silver tabby Bloodclan molly Onewhisker was chasing off, unfortunately she was hit by a car. The second was Oil, until she was taken in by humans, now living as a spicy housecat, but loved and safe. The third was short lived, Jaggedtooth. Claw challenged Jaggedtooth, and the wounds from the fight killed him.
Skinny yellow Bloodclan tom - Pirate, he has a stubby tail, and a red collar.
Gray tabby Bloodclan tom Graystripe knocks unconscious? - Snare, I like the thought that his ears are really ripped up.
Ginger Bloodclan molly - Chive, a very tough girl I like to think is the sister of Jaggedtooth and Ginger. She is covered in scars.
Ginger Bloodclan molly - I'll be honest. I'm a sucker for her wiki image. She is a spotted dark ginger molly with long fur. Her name is Fawn, and she is Fury's sister.
Bloodclan tom with a patchy pelt - Ripper, I like the think he is a brown and white tabby.
Black and white Bloodclan tom with a torn ear and a collar studded with teeth - Talon, he has a black collar.
Three Bloodclan cats, but the descriptions are not clear. One chases Brambleclaw and Brambleclaw flees (lmao) - The one chasing Brambleclaw away is Fawn, Fury's sister. The patchy furred one is Rooster's son, Raven, pure black.
Tabby and white molly that does not know what Mothermouth is - Her name is Diamond, she is noted to have a sparkly collar and reminds Graystripe of how Lightflower (Princess) used to be.
Scraps' Father Figure - Scrappy! He died in the Battle of Bloodclan. Scraps changed his name when he transitioned to male to be more like him, before Scrappy died.
Gremlin's ex, Fang's Father - Graystripe. In an attempt to strengthen connections, Graystripe welcomed Gremlin into his and Silverstream's relationship, attempting to Honour Sire kits, but plans fell apart before Fang was born.
Fang's siblings, Gremlin's other kits - The first is a tortoiseshell molly with white patches named Leah, she is still in her home, happy and carefree. Her original name was Ember. The other was another molly, a small gray molly with a darker gray stripe down her back, the spitting image of her father, her name is Orchid, and she left her home to become a loner. She'll reappear during the Warriorclan Super Edition.
Black and white kittypet tom - Tuxy. You can imagine what he looks like.
Black and white molly trapped in the Twoleg den - Flurry, she joins Warriorclan and becomes Flurrynose.
Molly with 3 kittens - Her name is Storm! She becomes Stormjump, I think she is large, and pure black with big green eyes.
Her 3 babies - The first is Moss, or Mosskit. A pure black tom with green eyes, just like mom! The second is Apple, or Applekit, a brown tabby tom with green eyes. The third and final is a deaf, pure white molly with blue eyes, named Cloud, or Cloudkit.
The old tabby molly who gives herself up to the Twolegs - Her name is Maisie. She was reunited with her old family through her microchip, who had all but given up hope of seeing her again.
Small tabby and white molly, warrior of Warriorclan - Amberwhisker! She is a light ginger colour with a white underside and white front legs, she has orange eyes.
Sandy coloured tom from Warriorclan - Splashclaw, because he loves water! He also has blue eyes.
Dark tabby kittypet with a light muzzle and light paws - A dark brown tabby by the name of Pinky. She was named by a little kid. She has a pink collar to match.
Patch furred kittypet - Named Patches. Named by the same kid, but slightly older. Now a white tom with ginger patches! He had a yellow collar.
Tabby kittypet with white paws - Alfred, not named by a child, he is a gray tabby, the oldest and most distinguished in the group. Dark blue collar for this guy.
Pure white kittypet - Missy, possibly named by the same kid who named the others, she is Alfred's baby. A small molly with a purple collar, she joins Warriorclan during their super edition under the new name: Happyfur.
Marigold - Note: This unknown being isn't even given a SPECIES. But in WCR, Marigold was Petunia's mate. Unfortunately, while they were in a shelter together, Marigold's liver began to fail, and the shelter was not able to get on top of things, she was euthanized. She and Gremlin give Monkeystar 2 lives.

Love at first sight - Sirius Black
Tumblr media
summary: lily's sister who goes to beauxbatons throws the party of the summer which sparks likely friendships, and an even likelier romance. wc: 2.3k
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lily came into the Great Hall the same way she always did: a determined look on her face, chin lifted up confidently, carrying overflowing papers in her arms, but something was different. Those paper she carried? They weren’t filled with head girl applications or polished assignments, no, they were party invitations.
She sat at her usual seat, and as per usual, the marauders ruffled through her papers. “Party invitations?” Whispered Sirius excitedly, as though it was something secret. Lily puffed her chest out “Y/n’s throwing a party, and encouraged me to extend the invitations to some Hogwarts students.” James cleared his throat to stop himself from choking on his tea. “I’m sorry? Your parents are letting you throw a party? The same two people who didn’t let you come over to Marlene’s tea party?” Lily grinned widely. “Well, y/n only comes home during the summers. I’m there every winter and spring break , so she kind of has a way with our parents. All she had to say was ‘this is our last summer before we graduate’ and she had them.”
“Wait, wait, wait,” Marlene cut in, her face lighting up, “If this is y/n’s party, does this mean it’s going to be filled with sexy french kids?” Lily nodded happily, sharing a look with the other marauders. It was going to be the party of the year.
You and Lily were the epitome of opposites. You’d engrossed yourself in getting to know all the kids in the neighborhood and quickly because friends with your french neighbour, while Lily only befriended one — Severus. By force of being around the young boy, you’d learned his language, his language which quickly became your own. Whilst you and Lily had your own friends, no one was closer to you both than each other. You were twins, not only blood brothers but best friends. Due to your linguistic talent, you’d not only received a letter from Hogwarts on your eleventh birthday, but from Beauxbatons too. Petunia, ever so jealous of your relationship and your magic, had duped your parents into sending you away.
Petunia had ran off crying, locked in her room alone until she formed the plan of the century to break your relationship with your twin apart. “Well, they’re always together. Isn’t it better for them to learn how to live apart from each other?” And your parents had fallen for her trick. Now, you only saw each other during the summers, and your relationship was stronger than ever. But things would soon change.
The only thing Lily heard of for the rest of the day was this party. Who was she inviting? How many people would be there? “Sirius, it’s not my party. I don’t know the details. All I’ve been told is that I have these invitations to give out to people.” Sirius stared at the front of the boldly decorated invitation on the top of the pile which read in a glittery font ‘No invite, no entry!’ He ran a rough estimate in his mind and decided there had to be at least seventy invitations in the stack of papers. “Can I help give them out?”
Lily and Sirius had proudly made up a list of who to invite, or not to invite, the rest of the marauders eventually gathering around to put in their own two cents. When the invitations had been given out, Lily returned to her dorm whilst the marauders all sat in front of the black lake, soaking up the limited sun rays whilst staring at their own invitations. “This is some high end decor.” Commented Remus, turning his invitation in his hands. The fonts had been carefully chosen, and a textured disco ball sat in the centre of the page. “Yeah, according to Lily, y/n loooves to party.” Marlene added, laying on her back. “I’m excited to meet her,” started James “She sounds fun, and we barely ever hear about her from Lily.”
Sirius hummed, gears turning in his brain. “Lily said they’re nothing alike.” He recalls. It was true. You and Lily weren’t only opposites in terms of personality, but looks too. Despite being twins, you had taken all of your father’s genes while Lily took after your mother. No one ever believed you when you said you were twins, let alone siblings.
The party was nearly an entire month later. The marauders found themselves outside an ordinary muggle house, glancing at each other nervously. Had they arrived too early? Marlene glanced down at her invitation, ensuring that they were there right on time. A knock on the door and they were waiting. The door slammed open and they were met with you, a bright smile on your face and a tray in the other with an array of pink and blue jell-o shots. You weren’t the only thing that welcomed them, but the loud roar of noise from inside the house blasted them too. Remus cocked an eyebrow, thinking ‘That’s one mean silencing charm.’ “Grab a drink you guys!” You called, holding the door open with your foot as you moved to the side for them to come in. You introduced yourself over the noise, clueless to the mesmerised eyes following you.
Sirius let himself be dragged into the house by Remus, though his eyes followed you as you escaped into the backyard. Lily had been right, you weren’t nothing alike. You wore fishnets under your small denim shorts, your top exposing more than just midriff. He gulped, trying not to be caught staring at your breasts when you turned around, instead moving his gaze to the endless jewellery you wore.
Sirius heard himself gasp — apparently the french like to be early. The party in the backyard was lit, he finally noticed, with groups of people already playing beer pong, dancing to the music, and even exchanging light conversation. Lily ran to join them, trying to properly introduce you to her friends, but you were running back to the door as the bell rung once more.  Apparently everyone arrived at once, because a crowd of people suddenly flooded the living room. A mix of elegant french and fast english chatter filled the air, and Sirius saw Marlene’s jaw drop, already picking the girl she was going to spend the rest of the night flirting with. Just as Lily was about to catch you, you jumped onto the coffee table, pointing your wand to your neck with an amplification charm.
“Okay, listen up everyone!” You called out, and from within the crowd, Sirius caught your eye, his muscular arms thrown over two of his friends' shoulders. You hadn’t properly noticed him when he walked in, but now? You shook the thought out of your head. “We have about 200 wizards in this house. A house that you can tell is in a muggle neighbourhood! Now, my silencing charm may be great, but it doesn’t hide magical activity! So if we can keep the magic down to a minimum and get the party up to a maximum that would be great! Where’s my music!?” And suddenly the music roared to life. Sirius shoved to the front of the crowd, offering you a hand to help you down from the coffee table. You felt your stomach jump at his offer, the light reflecting off his silver jewellery. Instead of taking Sirius’s hand, you wrapped your arms around his neck, swinging your legs off the table. Sirius snaked his arms around your waist without missing a beat, spinning you around so you let out a joyous laugh. “And who might you be?” You asked, running your hands down his chest before letting them hang by your sides.
Sirius curtseyed, miming saluting you with a hat whilst very poshly saying “Sirius Black, at your service.” You giggled, putting both your hands on his bicep. “Hey, you met Sirius!” Lily cut in, bumping you with her hip. You met her eyes, and they glinted with mischief. She most definitely knew how attracted you were to Sirius in that moment. “Come meet the others!” She didn’t give you time to respond, instead tugging you away from the curly haired boy. You waved at him, yelling “I’ll see you later!” and then “Shut up” to Lily when you turned around. You didn’t have to look at her to know she was smiling like the cheshire cat.
James was the first to bring you into a hug, his hands respectfully patting your back. You turned to look at Lily, nodding in approval. Your introductions with Remus and Marlene were quick, witty comments given by each of them before Marlene so boldly asked “Hey, is that cute brunette over there into girls?” You laughed, wrapping an arm around her waist. “Sweetheart, you’re going to have to be more specific, but for you? Anyone would be into girls.” Simple to say, Marlene turned bright red, and not because of the warmth the alcohol had given her.
When Sirius returned to the group, you were already gone, dancing with your friends. He threw his arms around James’s shoulders, resting his head on his best friends’s shoulder. “James, we’re going to be brothers in law!” The boy barked out a laugh, pushing Sirius away to look at him properly. “I’m in love with her James.” Remus laughed, slapping a hand on Sirius’s back. “Well what are you going to do about it buddy?” He asked, sharing an amused glance with James. “I’m going to convince her to come to Hogwarts. Wait! First, I’m going to make her fall in love with me!” Sirius frowned at his two friends’ loud laughs, muttering something like “I’ll show you.” But he didn’t have the chance to come find you in the crowd, because two pairs of hands were placed upon his shoulders, and you appeared, saying “Come dance with me.”
Sirius almost passed out at your offer, blindly following you onto the dance floor and missing the surprised look Remus and James shot each other. Apparently, you wouldn't need much convincing to fall for Sirius. Sirius took your hand, spinning you around, and you looking him up, looking around as though it would hide the bite of your lip. Sirius’s jeans were just tight enough around the crotch, and low waisted enough that every time he raised his arms too high, a sliver of his abdomen would show as his top would ride up. You spun around in Sirius’s arms, pressing your back against his chest. His hands trailed down to your hips, tugging them closer to his own. You giggled, moving your body alongside the music. Sirius groaned, whispering the lyrics in your ear, his hot breath hitting your sweaty skin.
The next time Sirius groaned, it wasn’t out of enjoyment, it was because someone had called out your name. “Viens avec nous? Just une cigarette!” (Come with us? Just one cigarette!) You had laughed at your friend’s words, shaking your head. “Non, il est trop beau, je ne veux pas le quitter!” (No, he’s so gorgeous, I don’t want to leave him!) Sirius hummed as you turned around in his arms, putting both your hands on his chest. “Come outside with me! Somewhere we can talk!” You grinned, sliding both your hands down in his, and letting him drag you outside.
You let Sirius guide you to a less crowded side of your garden, where you could people watch without being disturbed. You pushed Sirius against the wall of your backyard, watching as his eyebrows flew upwards in surprise. “So, Mr. Black, what would you like to discuss?” Sirius felt his heart surge, its pace quickening by the second, and he was sure you could feel it under your fingertips too. “Go out with me.” He heard himself blurt, and his eyes went wide at his own question. You laughed, looking around. “Aren’t we out right now?” The silence he left you with made you giggle, leaning your head forward on his chest. “I’m just joking.” Sirius shoulders slumped down in relief, hands loosely gripping your hips.
“I don’t want this to just be a little party flirt. I want to really get to know you. You… you seem cool.” You pressed yourself onto your tip toes, leaning forward to softly kiss Sirius. He sighed as you pulled away, chasing the kiss softly, but you refused to reconnect your lips. “I’d really like that.” Sirius smiled widely, pulling you flat against his body. “And hey, who knows, maybe you can show me around Hogwarts?” Sirius nodded, replying with “Yeah of- wait, what?” You straightened your back, cocking your head to the side. “Yeah, I’m moving to Hogwarts next year. Mum and dad finally had enough of me being so far away.” You interrupted yourself with your own laugh, pushing yourself off of him and looking around. “That’s what this is! My goodbye slash welcome party. Didn’t Lily tell you?” Sirius shook his head, stepping closer to you. “Well since I’ll be seeing more of you, can I properly kiss you now?”
Nodding at Sirius, you let him tug you closer to him, bringing you into a passionate kiss. You gasped at the force of his kiss, letting Sirius slide his tongue into your mouth. Moaning softly, you brought your hands up to cup Sirius’s face, pushing your body even deeper into his. “Oh my!” You pulled away from Sirius harshly, stumbling away from him. “I mean, I knew you guys had something going on, but I didn’t know it was going on.” You felt your face flush at Lily’s words, and heard Sirius cry out from behind you “Why didn’t you tell us she’s joining next year!?” James, from next to Lily, turned to face her, surprise overtaking his features. “I wanted to see how you guys got along before telling anyone!”
Remus approached the four of you, tipsily mumbling “Marlene has a roster of like three girls right now, and I just overheard some guy saying he wants to jump in the lake. I didn’t know there was a lake.” Remus stood silently, finally taking in the scene in front of him.
“I’m sorry, did I miss something?”

Summer Love
Harry Potter x reader
Summary: Every summer, Harry Potter returns to Privet Drive. But this year, the heat brings much more than a reunion.
wc: 1.7k
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The summer heat was unbearable; your mother had insisted you wait inside, but you politely refused. From your yard, you could see the moment Mr. Dursley's car turned the corner and parked in the front yard. You sighed anxiously. It was supposed to be today, like every summer, that your friend would return to his aunt and uncle's house once again. You knew it wasn't a situation he would find pleasant at all, but having him around after another year of studying at St. Brutus's Secure Centre.
Finally, the car you'd been waiting for turned the corner and abruptly parked right where you were waiting. Mr. Dursley slammed the door before walking straight into his home. Harry calmly got out of the passenger seat. You watched him walk distractedly, with a resigned expression, to the trunk of the car to pull out a heavy trunk with his school's insignia on it.
You looked both ways before crossing the street to where he was. Upon seeing you, his expression changed to a genuine smile, and without another word, the two of you melted into a tight hug.
"I missed you so much," you confessed, hiding in his neck.
"Me too," Harry responded. Hedwig's complaint in the backseat forced them to separate. Harry hurried to get her cage out of the car. The animal hooted with delight when she saw you, remembering the treats you gave her every time she delivered a letter. "It seems I miss you too."
"Well, I spent all my allowance on treats, it was the least I could do," you played with the owl between the bars of its cage. "How are you feeling? Are they tough at that horrible school?"
He hesitated before answering. "Uh, no, it's actually great. I swear I'd spend my summers there if I could." You couldn't help but feel your heart ache at his revelation. You knew Harry's relationship with his family well enough, but the fact that he didn't want to come back at all hurt you deeply. He seemed to notice the noticeable change in your face, so he quickly added, "I mean... If it weren't for you... You're the only thing worthwhile in this place."
Your cheeks flushed at the revelation, and Harry, likewise, seemed to have just realized his revealing confession. He was about to speak when the front door swung open abruptly.
"Boy!" Mr. Dursley growled from the doorway. "Come in this instant!"
Vernon stood in the doorway, waiting for his nephew to enter. Harry gave you an apologetic look before grabbing his suitcase and pet and entering his home. Mr. Dursley didn't take his eyes off you until you reached your garden, when he slammed the door shut.
You'd never liked the Dursleys; you'd lived across the street your whole life, and they were unpleasant neighbors. You'd never had any problems with them, but everything changed when you started school and inevitably became friends with Harry Potter. Since then, you'd received nothing but annoyed glances and awkward comments. Like the time Petunia casually commented that your clothes were inappropriate and only drew inappropriate looks from the neighborhood boys. Or the time Vernon told your parents that you only came to their house to bother their beloved son in cahoots with their nephew, the rebellious criminal. You couldn't even count all the times Dudley had bothered you at school and on the way home.
You sank down onto your bed, frustrated at not being able to talk to your friend after almost a year without seeing him. You looked over the nightstand at the countless letters he'd sent you using his (extraordinarily trained) owl, telling you about his friends and teachers. Even though he'd never mentioned a girl to you before, an uneasy feeling formed in your chest at the mere thought of the possibility.
It was around eleven when a small rock hit your window. You ignored it at first, but it kept coming again and again. You walked sleepily to the window when you saw Harry standing in your yard. He motioned for you to come down quietly, which you quickly obeyed, but not before checking your hair on the bathroom vanity.
Harry was sitting on the curb with his back to you, making sure the Dursleys' lights were off. You walked over to take the spot next to him.
"Are you okay?" you asked quietly. But he didn't even look at you, his gaze fixed somewhere on the sidewalk.
"Yeah, well... At least we're here, and so are you..." He leaned in slightly, causing your shoulders to bump. You responded playfully.
The night was warm and the silence comfortable, so, wary of being rejected, you rested your head on his nearest shoulder. "I really missed you," you said almost in a whisper. Harry didn’t respond, but he rested his head on yours, making your heart race. "How was your year?" he asked without changing his tone.
"I feel like your letters are too limiting to tell the stories."
"It’s impressive how well-trained Hedwig is," you commented. "I’ve never seen a bird travel such a distance just to deliver a letter."
Harry tensed beside you and stood up straight again. You raised your head, not understanding what had made him uncomfortable. You watched him, waiting for an explanation, but again, he didn’t dare look at you.
"I don’t like lying," he said finally. "I don’t like lying to you…"
"Lying to me? About what?"
He sighed heavily once more before standing. He held out his hand for you to stand up as well. You took it confidently. He firmed his grip before leading you down the street. For the first time, you noticed he was carrying a bag.
You walked in silence for a few minutes before reaching the local park, which, due to the schedule, was completely deserted. Harry made you sit on one of the swings. You obeyed, but he was still standing in front of you.
"I haven't been honest with you," he confessed. "It's not true that I go to St. Brutus's... I don't know what. That's something the Dursleys force me to say to avoid questions."
"So, where are you all year round?"
"The school I attend is actually called Hogwarts... It's a school for wizards."
You looked at him, your expression unreadable. You searched for a smile or something that would indicate he was joking, but he remained completely serious, waiting for an answer from you.
"Is this the part where we laugh about this or..."
"It's not a joke, I swear," Harry quickly answered.
"Are you trying to make fun of me? Is that it?" You began to get annoyed at the possibility that he had only made you leave the house at late hours to laugh at you.
"No, no, I swear it's not like that... I can show you." He quickly pulled some kind of old rug out of his bag. You looked at him with a raised eyebrow, not knowing how to respond. He sighed nervously before shaking his cloak, trying to gain confidence.
"I just need, no matter what... Don't freak out."
"Frighten me how?"
Harry covered himself with the cloak, disappearing completely before your eyes. You looked at the ground, expecting to find a large hole he'd fallen through or a large structure in the sky that had pulled him up, but there was nothing, just the emptiness of the park, where you were now alone.
Suddenly, your friend's brown head popped out of nowhere, floating in the air. You brought your hands to your mouth, holding back the gasp of surprise you wanted to give. Harry finally completely uncovered himself from the invisibility that surrounded him, becoming visible once again.
"I would have liked to show it another way... But you can't do magic outside of school. I might get expelled," he excused himself. But you couldn't stop trembling in place.
Harry knelt on the ground, lower than you. He took your hands to stop them from moving and looked at you, waiting for an answer.
"Harry... This is... Incredible."
Those green eyes that were so familiar to you shone with emotion at your affirmative response. With a jerk, he had you up from the swing and wrapped his arms around your waist. You responded to that tender hug with the same intensity as him.
When you broke away, Harry didn't remove his hands from your waist, nor did you remove yours from his shoulders. You were so close that you could feel his breath mingling with yours.
And then it happened, just as you had imagined for years.
He joined his lips with yours in a tender kiss. It didn't last more than a few seconds, but it seemed like an eternity.
When you broke apart, you both looked at each other with a mixture of nerves and tenderness, not entirely sure of what you had just done, as if afraid of ruining everything.
"Would you like to try it?" Harry suggested.
"Does it hurt?"
"Of course not!" He downplayed it before wrapping the thick fabric around your shoulders. A part of your body disappeared from view, although you still felt it there. You laughed nervously, unable to believe it.
The two of you continued hugging, neither wanting to separate from each other, until the sun began to rise over the horizon. Only then did you start walking home. Without saying anything, Harry intertwined his fingers with yours, trying not to break contact.
When you reached the door of your home, his hand felt so comfortable intertwined with yours that you didn't dare let go. Although he didn't seem to have any intention of doing so either.
"Good night Harry" you murmured, leaving a soft kiss on his lips, which was quickly reciprocated.
"Can we meet tomorrow in the park?" he asked without taking his eyes off yours. You just smiled and gave him another quick kiss before hurrying into your house. You watched through the peephole as he quickly crossed the street and entered his own.
You couldn't help but smile like a fool. You were hopelessly in love with Harry Potter... Who turned out to be a wizard.

I'll Look After You: Prologue
Sirius Black x Reader / Remus Lupin x Reader / Remus Lupin x Sirius Black
Masterlist Series Masterlist
Summary: the set up for GOF timeline, Harry and reader reunite over the summer, Remus and Sirius as well
Cw: Use of {Y/N}, the Durley's}
Wc- 1909
Taglist- @otterlockholmes @stylesann
“My dearest Harry,
I am sorry it has taken this long. It shouldn't have been more than a week, but you are aware of everything that has happened since I returned home.
The ministry, as I expected, came to me first when they had heard of Sirius Black’s escape from Hogwarts. They have dropped all accusations on behalf of Bartemius Crouch Sr, our Minister. I have been allowed my properties and seized possessions. I am home now, Remus has joined me, and Padfoot is two days out.
Another thing the Ministry has returned to me, is my title as your godmother. It was reinstated yesterday, and as I am regretful that it took a month, Harry, you will be coming home.
The papers have been sent. I must give you fair warning, Harry, when you return to me, you will also be returning to the {L/N} house hold. Much like the Blacks, we have a reputation. My father, for one, was not too pleased with my involvement with the Potters since day one. I will fight for you, Harry. I will. I do not expect you to bend to the pressure, but I will always hope our relationship is open and honest.
Forever here, {Y/N}”
Home. He was going home. Harry didn't think he had ever smiled so much while at the Dursleys’.
“You should feel lucky boy. I could have fought it, thirteen years too late if you ask me!” Mr. Dursley huffed from the head of the table, flicking through his newspaper. They had just finished dinner, it was late, and Harry found himself fidgeting. He was packed, he was ready, tonight he was going to start over. With family. People who loved him. “But the sooner you're gone, the better it is for everyone.”
“I agree.” Harry snarked and stood up, leaving Mr. Dursley stunned and blabbering like a fish. Harry wasn't scared anymore. The paperwork was signed yesterday, and in just a few more minutes, you would be here, and you would take him home.
“No respect! Fed and housed you all this time! Still, you seem to think-” His words were interrupted by a firm knock on the door. Harry lit up and practically dashed off to it, before he slowed to a stop as Petunia stepped in front of him. She looked in the side mirror and made herself presentable, fixing her dress and huffing. Turning to glare at Harry before she opened the door.
You were standing on the doorsteps of that same bloody house. Merlin, you always said if you ever saw any of them again it would be too damn soon. You were staring off at the street, until you heard the door finally open.
Turning, you had to hide a wince as you saw Lily's sister. She looked like all those tears did a number on her when she was younger, her face was pinched and tart, like a damned sour sprout from Honeydukes. You smiled sweetly at her, even when she began to shove Harry’s luggage out like it was trash. “Abandoned him for thirteen years, hm? Now you're finally here?”
“Fantastic to see you again as well, Petunia. Haven't aged a day.” You purred with a wink and looked around her. When Harry's eyes landed on yours, you both smiled like absolute fools. You
opened your arms and Harry squirmed past his aunt with a small, “Excuse me,” before he practically tackled you.
You had a delighted laugh and held him tighter, spinning in a small circle, so distracted by each other Petunia finally gave in with a scoff. Waving you both off. Pulling away you quickly began to fix his clothes and hair, putting his glasses back proper on his face.
“Are you ready?” You asked and began to pick up his things, he quickly moved to help you, grabbing his actual luggage bag as you grabbed his smaller bags, holding Hedwig.
“Ready.” Harry nodded and you walked down to the street. He stared at you curiously before you waved your hand and suddenly, a large black car pulled up. It seemed more in line with a chauffeur and luxury ride.
You waved your hand again and the trunk and back doors popped open. You began to load up the back seat and hurried around to help Harry slip his things into the trunk.
Once everything was packed away, you both got in. You looked at him and smiled, he returned it. Looking around once more, you shifted the car’s stick shift, and suddenly, it became as dark as the night outside. Harry gave a laugh and shook his head, you turned to him and tilted your head curiously.
“Just a bout of deja vu.”
~~~
You drove for a few hours, gliding above the clouds as Harry kept you company with stories of the remaining days at Hogwarts before summer. Eventually, his voice faded into silence. You two enjoyed a bit of quiet, before you asked him if he'd like to listen to some music his mother loved. He lit up as you reached over to the glove box and took out a few cds.
You turned a few on loop for him, and eventually, you were greeted by his soft snores. You lit up at the sudden squeeze to your chest. So much love ached in you, like this was how it was meant to be. For years now.
Eventually, you landed in an open field, hidden deep within the thick and vibrant green forests of the Scottish countryside. You were isolated, when you and Sirius were younger, this was the best of both worlds. Space, quiet, away from London, but also full of life and peaceful wonder, a place you thought you'd raise a child one day. Well, you weren't entirely wrong. You were happy to be the one to finally clip Harry free of that horrid house.
You gave a frown as you leaned over and rubbed Harry's shoulder. You hated to wake him.
He snapped his head up and blinked a few times. “We are almost there.” You whispered to him and he glanced around himself in curious and baffled silence.
“Where are we?” He mumbled. You suddenly laughed, remembering all that Harry could see was the thick forest around you. “Sorry, Harry. We are going to 1 Grindlebay coast.” You whispered and stared at him, as you watched his eyes snapped open wide.
For him, the trees before you sunk below, to the ground and completely out of view. the ones that lined the entrance curved and bent, until their branches threaded together in a nature made entrance. Gravel and thick cobblestone shot from the dirt and created a path, one you began to drive down.
Eventually, you made it to a huge open property, with a single cottage right by the path, entrapping you between thick dense trees and the cobbled gate around the small yard.
He was slack jawed, turning to you and you couldn't help but laugh. “Grand, isn't it? Even with something so simple, Sirius still insisted on something remarkable.” You mumbled and looked at the door.
There was Lupin, standing with Sirius. Harry noticed them and began to hurry out of the car. You climbed out of it yourself. Leaning over the trunk to watch as Harry ran to Sirius and Black hugged him just as tight back. Lupin was going to come help you with the bags, before Sirius yanked him into the hug as well. You felt like you could melt, just watching your boys greet each other.
“You know, it's very impolite to let a lady carry your things in for you, Harry.” Remus teased and Harry quickly pulled away to watch as you waved your wand and his things began to unpack from the car and float to the door. Sirius jumped to the side and laughed, having been standing in the path. You walked over and smirked at him.
“Planning to concuss me, hm?” Sirius mused and you rolled your eyes. “I've tried too many times to think it's still possible, Black.”
“What's that mean, pretty girl?”
“It means-” You paused and pointed at him. “Don't call me that. It means, in order to concuss you, you'd have to have a brain up there for it to work. I think Quidditch did you and James a misfortune in that regard.”
Your heart hurts a bit. Not hearing James’ signature offended gasp, and Lily's condescending and playful coos for his pride.
Remus watched your banter and couldn't help but smile. Harry gave a bright smile as well.
Sirius rolled his eyes fondly. You took him in, the week away did him good. He was cleaned up, shaven, and looked much more managed. “Though, it never did do away with your grooming habits, did it?” You reached forward and fiddled with his hair a moment before turning his shoulder to push him inside.
You turned to Remus and Harry next, gesturing them in. “Come on then, you need to get settled, Remus, can you show him to his room?”
Remus nodded and clapped his hand to Harry’s shoulder. “Right we go, Harry.”
The exterior made the house seem little more than a single room, but much like a tent when you walked inside it quickly grew in size. You and Sirius had charmed it after it temporarily became one of you and your friends' many safe houses. When you were still all together.
It was two stories, with a cozy feel to it. Remus led him down the hall and up the stairs which was where the guest rooms were.
You watched them wonder off before you turned to Sirius with a small patient smile. “Where are your things?”
“I uhm.. put them in the spare room down the hall from our- from yours.” He corrected himself and your face fell a bit. You didn't want to say it, but you did feel a bit nervous about what Sirius would want when he returned. You didn't know what you expected. You were no longer engaged. You were the one who gave the ring back. You were the one with the idea to call it off. You were the one who wanted more than he was willing to give. You just figured, maybe, he was ready to let his pride away and admit to you that there was more to it then just Remus that made him not want to continue. You shook the thought away.
Emotions were bothersome.
“Well, Sirius. I looked over what I could salvage from the years, plenty of your clothes still in the old room. Then we can look into getting you and Harry some new summer clothes.” You mused with a wave of your hand. He gave you a thinned smile, nodded before he turned to stray further into the house.
They left you with your thoughts, you could hear Harry and Remus’s voices from above you, fought back the urge to join them. Turning to walk into the living room. Looking around at all the photos and evidence of life. Everything is still like you left it all those years ago. Waving your wand to straighten everything. You have done several cleaning spells, but it didn't save the discolored furniture and foggy photographs half eaten by the moths. Then you remembered. The photo album. You had a treat for Harry once he was settled.
This bed-situation had been entirely Pandora’s idea and now, even months thereafter, you felt like kissing her silly as thanks.
When the three of you decided to move in together immediately after Hogwarts with whatever pocket money you had been able to scrape together, you naturally didn’t have much. Lily’s family had been milked dry by Hogwarts and Petunia’s muggle university fees, you had never been terribly comfortable financially and Pandora was left with nothing once she and Evan left their household in favour of Barty’s bachelor pad in year six.
While you all had loved ones willing to throw money at you from whatever angle, you made a decision as a unit that you wanted to try to be resourceful. To make a life for yourselves by yourselves. Not without your friends, of course — you welcomed art and decor as housewarming presents — but you didn’t want a Potter-bought bed. Although Marlene had whispered to you in the passing that she never would have declined a bed from dearest Effie. You figured that was a Marlene-thing more than genuine life advice.
Thus, you basked in the unglamorous life of sleeping on a mattress on the floor for your first few months in this flat.
Pandora, like with all else, knew how to make it glamours though.
She had the utterly gorgeous vision of transforming a seemingly sad sight into an effortlessly aesthetic corner of your bedroom. With a spell you are certain she had not learned from any books in the Hogwarts library, she made the bed permanently hover just barely above the ground and transfigured it to become a large circle instead of a small rectangle.
Within seconds you went from having a plain bed to a soft cocoon.
“That mattress was no nest,” she had declared. “This is a house of love. We must have a nest.”
From then on, you called your flat the nest. You were disgustingly in love.
Now, even months after, when you technically could have bought a bed frame, you woke tangled in your two loves in your gorgeous hovering orb of a nest.
The Sunday morning sunshine trickled in through the white curtains and suncatchers, basking the sheets in rainbow hues and patterned light. There were birds chittering in the birdbox near your window, and you could practically feel the vibrations of the bumblebees visiting the flowers blooming on your Juliet balcony. A relieved sigh escaped you; all is good.
You peeled your eyes further open to strategise. Ever so slowly, you eased your arm out from beneath where Lily laid on her stomach beside you, arm and leg thrown over you, trying to get a hold of Pandora on the other side.
“I want you both near, always,” she would mumble as she got settled each night. “You’re too far away.”
“Mmm, lovely Lily, we are right here.” Pandora’s hand often came to intertwine with Lily’s on your stomach, warmth spreading from that point out through your body.
Once your limb was freed from Lily’s grasp, you could peel the strands of red hair from your mouth and brush the rest off of your neck.
She was lucky you loved her.
With no other free space, you propped your tingling arm up like a second pillow beneath your head. You wouldn’t want to knock into either of them and awake them before their time. Your soul ached for their rest.
You turned your head sideways to look at Pandora with a smile.
Your white-haired girlfriend was as messily sprawled out as always, one leg hanging down the side of the mattress, the other you could feel shoved to beneath yours and Lily’s, tangled in the messy sheets. Her arms were loosely crossed over her chest and her eyes were half-open in her sleep. You held back a snort.
It had taken you and Lily a while to get used to sleeping Pandora – she was almost more vividly herself when unconscious. All personality, no restrain. You promptly realised that she had to sleep on the edge of the bed, lest she sleepwalk over you and Lily or accidentally push you off.
Lily swore up and down that Pandora bit her once in her sleep, and while you loved pretending she was dreaming things up, you mostly believed her.
You closed your eyes and breathed in, sinking further back against the mattress you had now come to love so dearly, with the two girls you loved even more. Even if you were to map it all out, you couldn’t decipher where any of you began or ended in the expanse of your nest, bed-sheets all delightfully messed up in a way that only a good night’s sleep can produce.
It was exactly how you wanted to be – intertwined, entangled, united. With your flower and your fairy, all was well.
