My Brompton is feeling all Druidical this morning, here in Bangor, Gwynedd. A stone circle – though not Neolithic I think :-) in a small park overlooking the Menai Strait and the Isle of Mona or Ynys Môn (Anglesey), and the Holy Island across the Cymran Strait. The Romans in 60CE must have looked across at the same view, before Gaius Suetonius Paulinus and his Batavian cohorts destroyed the Druidic temples and oak groves. Early, early morning Brompton @bromptonbicycle ride; 15.4km (9.57m) with one stop (after 1.5km) when my seat post slipped. Must have used an oily rag to clean the rain off the @bromptonistanbul last week.
