Paani : I've always struggled with his design, flipping between masculine and feminine, and more animal then less animal. But, I figured, since he's kinda a loner, I'd go more animal, and I figured out a way to incorporate his cheek fur without looking stupid/ignoring it all together. I stared at a picture of a Indian macaque forever to get the facial features right.

Tracker : he didn't change really at all lol, just a bit of a different hair shape. Sweet and simple

*Six Years Later *

"you're not supposed to be working," Duke said as he stepped on to the back porch. Asta was set up on the small table with her laptop.

" Are you going to snitch?"

"Is it stressful work?"

"Just double-checking some numbers for Jason. He wants to open another clinic. This one, dear the docks." He sits down next to her as she closes her laptop and puts it on the side table. He eyes her swollen Belly. "Almost done with my second trimester. They'll be here soon," she said as she rubbed her stomach. 

"Dick is already working on his 'Best Uncle' Placker."

"Sucks to be him. Best Uncle is currently a tie between You and Jason.  Wait, did you bring my cakes?" He hands her a paper bag. He watches as she tears through it to get to her cakes. "Yes, a tie." He laughed as she dug in. She was kind enough to spare a few for him. 

Sitting outside with Damian's naked and pregnant wife while eating lemon cakes, there would have been a time when this would have been strange to Duke, but now it was life; it was routine. And he liked it.

"So, you're my babysitter this evening?" 

"Yep"

Ever since discovering her pregnancy, Asta has never spent a night alone. Even when Damian went to patrol (although less frequently now), someone else took his place by her side. However, they prepared to move her back into the manor for her third trimester. Tonight, Damian attended a charity gala with Bruce and Tim. 

"Didn't want to join the party?" Duke laughed at her deadpanned expression. 

Asta had only attended a handful of events since her marriage to Damian, and despite how famous the Waynes were, she managed to remain an enigma to the public. And being pregnant, she didn't plan on changing that anytime soon. She was fine staying home fat, happy, and surrounded by animals. 

"Want to go make some mac & cheese?"

"Please"

Stepping into the living room, Asta is curled up on her favorite recliner, and Duke is asleep on the couch. Grabbing blankets from the hall closet, he tossed one over Duke and carefully wrapped one over Asta. 

"You good?" Duke asked, sleep still evident in his voice. 

"The night was uneventful. Yours?" 

Duke looked quite smug as he snuggled further into his blankets. " Cheat day. We had hot dogs, mac & cheese, and cinnamon rolls."

"It's always a risk leaving her in yours or Todd's care. Did she eat any real food?"

"That is real food."

"What would Alfred say?"

"Listen, she's happy. My job is done." Duke rolled over to go back to sleep. Damian rolled his eyes and picked up his wife, taking her upstairs to their room. 

"I miss my fur," Asta whispered as Damian placed her on the bed. Due to being pregnant, Asta could no longer shift between species, especially those of different sizes and biologies that would harm the baby, and she hasn't changed since the reveal. So, five months. She really missed her fur. No amount of blankets could replace its warmth, no amount of chasing their animals could replace the feeling of giving chase on her four legs, and no amount of human care would replace what Mother Nature gave her. 

"Do you think they'll have fur, too? " she asked as she felt the bed dip. She looked at Damian as he crawled into bed. 

"Possibly." He said as he laid down next to her, "Genetically speaking, there is a fifty percent chance they'll get the metagene. If it activates is also up to chance. They could get it at birth or years later, like Duke. And even then, she might not get your exact abilities but alternates with similar implications- " When Damian looked down Asta expression was mixed with concern and adoration. 

"You said She. You want a girl?"

Damian blushed at being caught but whispered, " I would not mind a daughter." Asta laughed, kissing his cheek. 

" It doesn't matter what they'll have or who they'll be. As long as we love them, they'll be okay, right?"

"Indeed."

They would not worry as there was nothing to worry about. 

Damian had almost found sleep when he felt his hand being pulled down. He was confused about what she was doing until he felt her skin and the movement underneath. " feet," he mumbled, realizing that Asta wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, so neither would he.

"Feet," she agreed.

Very random question but what would you add into a spooky basket? I’m gonna surprise my bf and sister with their own but I’m really struggling with filling the empty spaces🙃

sorry for just now seeing this! here are some things that usually fill the empty spaces in a spooky basket:

socks (halloween or not, you can never have too many socks!)

plackers — the little dental flossers are so helpful for on the go and i like them for my purse or the car!

air fresheners for the car — if your bf or sister have a car, these are always welcome

little snacks — if you want to maintain the orange and black theme of halloween, i would go with cheez-its (or any cheese flavored cracker/snack) halloween themed oreos, etc.

halloween themed candy

candles (you can never have too many candles and i like them for my bathroom/living room especially)

take it step by step: it makes things easier.

by this i mean: simply stand first. when you're ready to do more, walk to the doorway. get to the doorway and feel like you have the will to continue? good. aim for your kitchen first.

work in bursts. this might work just starting there, but if not: you can scramble an egg into a bowl and microwave it for 90 seconds and it'll be cooked. sprinkle a little salt and pepper on it before you put it in.

when it's ready, sit down to eat it. let yourself rest for a bit so your body can get some energy from your food beginning to digest. that's about the point i start feeling like i have enough momentum to do the rest

now‚ for the future: find a basket or make space in your bedside table or something. have a tub under the bed. whatever you have room for.

get some face wipes. i use cheap walmart brand makeup cleanser wipes. keep them next to or under your bed. keep a mini hair brush (a cheap one from dollar tree works) with those wipes. get yourself some floss picks (i use plackers) and keep some there, too. they don't really sell them where i live anymore, but you can apparently get a 2-pack of scope no-water toothbrushes at dollar tree for a buck and a half! and finally: walmart has little on-the-go chicken salad snack boxes. one or two of those would be good to put there too!

this way, in the future, when you're feeling like you do now, you'll have something to help that feeling go away enough to help

Tracker is very shy but helpful, and can be very brave when need be (he acts like Barnacles), and Paani is a lot like Kwazii, except more chill. I think "soft protector" X "chill yet also chaotic" is adorable together! It's my favorite Tracker ship, too!! ^-^ tehehehehehe <33
