"a woman would treat her right" question do you believe lesbians are equally capable of harming their partners. question do you at default assume the straight relationships around you are of a lower quality than the lesbian ones around you. question do you believe there is something inherent ("biological" or "trained") about men that makes them gross, bad at sex, inconsiderate partners, etc in ways that lesbians (always assumed to not be men) don't have. question do you believe men to be capable of only an inferior sort of love and kindness and spirit when compared to (always assumed to never be men) lesbians. question why do you think that's an okay way to think/feel about an entire group of people based on a characteristic they have no control over (gender). question do you think you're normal about bisexual people, any kind of trans person (this view can affect all of us depending on the angle regardless of actual gender), cis butches on T, or achillean people. question do you see men as equal humans.
we can have butch chivalry we can have the "sweeps her away from an unfulfilling straight marriage" fantasy i get it believe me but why are you always making it about men and how bad men are. why is that how you express your desire or concern for (usually, in this case) women. we can stop doing this at any time.
before you get mad at me yes a lot of abusive or shitty or underwhelming men who're partners to women are like that due to misogyny. but they are not like that because they're men. not the same. and i don't think you can argue that misogyny is inherent to men without reinforcing a bio- or gender-essentialist framework, which i thought we all knew was bad. women are capable of and do perpetuate misogyny and abuse they are not some mystical safe haven of purity and splendor. lesbian separatism should die as a concept and if i could kill it myself i would do so barehanded. i would like to share in y'all's yearning and hope and love without it always being about how men are yucky and we don't wanna play with them anymore (or were so wise and perceptive that we never wanted to play with them). stop making lesbianism into a fucking country club your lesbianism does not make you superior
#im tired#if these questions seem unrelated to you just think about it a little bit harder. read the post a second time and try to understand even#re the last line: lesbians who think this way and are anti the concept of gold star lesbianism view time with men as a mistake#one that they can condescend to you to forgive. one they can teach you out of (/sexy)#and i don't buy it. i don't think you're normal about bi ppl or genderqueer ppl or even dykes with a more complicated past#this barely even touches on men who are lesbians mspec lesbians and bi lesbians but know that ily guys too#anyway this idea actively makes it harder for sapphics to come forward or even to terms with domestic violence/SA/etc in sapphic dynamics#it alienates various chunks of the sapphic community who are just as worthy of love and respect as more conventional lesbians#it makes you all look fucking stupid and it pisses me off in particular. and im sure thats very important to you so please stop#you don't have to be romantically or sexually involved with men. i will remind you that some lesbians are men but no one's forcing you#to go out with them. but you should be platonically involved with men. they are in community with you. they are people like you#it's not normal or cute or good or funny to view men as fucking animals you just feel good having a cruelty release valve#and within this community that's one of the most acceptable and normalized ones and it shouldn't be and we can stop at any time#'im the manhating dyke they warned you about teehee 😜' you're an embarrassment.#ugh whatever i hope this wasn't too angry. i am mad but ive thought/said a lot of this stuff#it's not like im perfect. but we gotta do better. take my hand. fucking. dolphin rainbow jpg

Tumblr media
VIOLET
You and Vi were at another one of your friends' sleepovers. You didn't wanna come, you wanted to spend the Saturday just the two of you, alone. You hated sharing her attention, she was your best friend. You were each other's number one, why did you need other friends when you two were each other's everything. It was late now, almost everyone was sleeping or about to fall asleep when Vi crawled between the bodies of people to where you were laying. You didn’t notice until you felt the familiar embrace of her against your back. Despite yourself, you felt yourself relaxing against her body.
“Are you still mad at me?” she whispered into your ear before placing a gentle kiss on your bare shoulder. “You know my favorite person. You have nothing to worry about.”
“Yeah, whatever.” You grumbled. You weren't truly mad anymore but you knew what came next, what Vi did to reassure you that you were special to her. Her only best friend. You weren’t surprised when her hips rocked into your ass, when she pressed her tits against your back nor when her hand traveled underneath your oversized sleep shirt and cupped your breast.
“Vi…” You sighed nuzzling into the arm underneath your head. She tightened her grip on your breast and rocked her hips into you. You push back harder and soon enough you guys find a rhythm. Your ass pushing down on her hips when she grinds up into you. Her callused palm grazes your nipple and you whine softly. She whimpers into your shoulder, finger going to your nipple when she pulls and twists. You wish her mouth was on you, you wish your mouth was on her. You turn your head to her “I love you the most. My favorite forever.”
You feel her smile into your shoulder. “You're so beautiful, you know that?” translation: I love you too.
MEL MEDARDA
You couldn’t believe it. Your best friend’s tongue was inside of you. Licking you. Her lips were sucking on your clit, her teeth were biting your pussy lips. You could hear how wet you were—you could feel yourself leaking all over her face. “Mel!” You scream out into the dark room before slamming your hands over your own mouth. You don’t want anyone to see you—you don’t want her mother to see you, what a scene she would make. Seeing her daughter nose deep into her childhood best friend. Mel pulls her mouth off your clit with an embarrassingly loud pop. “Do you feel that? This is how you’re supposed to eat pussy darling.” She smiles when you just nod. Afraid that if you remove your hands from your mouth, you might confess something you don’t want.
Plus, this was just a favor, strictly platonic, you were just friends. That’s why she was eating you out in the first place—you wanted to finally dip your toe into the dating scene but you were scared because you were inexperienced, you didn’t wanna leave your future partners disappointed in your nonexistence skills. And that’s where your best friend came in. Where you didn’t know anything about sex, she knew what felt like everything. Though you never saw her with anyone, she talked like she knew the ins and outs of men and women and she offered to teach you.
“Now after you use your mouth and get them wet you wanna bring in your fingers, like this.” Mel grabs one of your thighs and pushes it down, giving her a better view of your dripping pussy before using her free hand and pushing a slender finger into you. You gasp. “I know you’ve fingered yourself before sweets, how many fingers have you shoved into this pretty pussy?”
You whimper, hesitantly removing your hands. “T-two Melly.” You answer bashfully, using the nickname you gave her when you were children. She hums and adds another. You bite your lip, lower abdomen clenching when she curls them into your spongy g-spot.
“Now pay attention to me alright?” She leans down to place a kiss on your pubs, leaving a trail of light kisses until she reaches your clit. She moves her hand out of you and a fast pace, fingers curling when she knuckles deep. You moan at the feeling of her hand pounding into you.
She gives your clit a few kitten lips before wrapping her full lips around the swollen area. She bits hard enough for you to wince before she starts sucking. You feel yourself coming apart on her face before you can stop yourself. She hurriedly removes her fingers, mouth sucking you even harder when you feel liquid gush out of you. You grab the back of her head and scream. You can’t stop it, you don’t want to. You throw your thigh over her head and curl your foot into her back, still riding the high. When your pussy stops shooting the mysterious liquid out Mel’s fingers find themselves back inside, four this time.
You feel tears collecting in the corner of your eyes, as she finger-fucks you. Mel pops back off your abused clit to whisper praises, good girl, you're doing so good, look at how well you take me, you feel heavenly, and when she goes back to playing with your clit you know you don’t want anyone to fuck you unless it’s her. Maybe you can ask her to teach you how to give hickeys next.
CAITYLYN KIRAMMAN
You were horny. Cait was horny. You both kept glancing at each other when you thought the other wasn’t looking, sussing out what the other was thinking. The movie you guys were watching was a rating away from being straight porn. When it was over you, both decided to call it a night. It was late she said. You guys had class tomorrow you said. When the lights turned off, you both said goodnight and laid down in your shared bed. You two were so close and loved being near each other that on the first day of the semester you pushed your twin beds together. Oh, how you were regretting that idea now. All you wanted to do was fuck yourself. You knew you weren’t going to fall asleep without an orgasm and so after twenty minutes when you thought Cait was asleep, you found your hand traveling into your boy shorts. You sighed in relief when your fingers grazed your throbbing clit. You rubbed it for a few seconds before shoving two fingers into yourself.
That relief was short-lived when you heard a breathy moan that didn’t come from you. You tensed up and stopped. When you didn't hear anything—maybe she was making those noise in her sleep—you slowly started to move your fingers in and out, palm rubbing against your clit. You bite your lip to stifle a moan and turn onto your back. You could barely move your fingers in and out lying on your side. You part your legs and moan when you finally hit your G-spot. You're so horny but your imagination isn't cutting it. Opening your eyes you turn your head to find the outline of your best friend who was the star in some of your fantasies, her hourglass figure would for sure spark a fantasy. When your eyes adjust to the dark you're shocked to see Cait staring back at you, her blanket pooling at her hips when you could see her hand abruptly stop moving. Your Cait was masturbating too, in the same bed as you. A grin spreads along your face.
“I-I’m not—”
“I am.” You whisper, pushing your blanket off you. Her eyes immediately latch onto where your fingers are slowly pushing in and out. Your other hand comes up to your tank top where you push your shirt down. Your breasts spill out. Cait’s face turns into a tomato, eyes widening even more than they already are. She doesn't remove her gaze from your breasts when she starts fingering herself again. You watch her mouth part into a small O and her eyes roll to the back of her head. You imagine what she looks like riding your face and start to speed up. Your other hand twisting your nipples.
“I-m gonna..” Cait whimper and spasms for a few seconds. You moan at the look on her face, so pleased with herself, and soon enough you're squeezing your eyes and coming too.

heeeeeyyy! <3
if it's ok with you i wanted to request a scenario where the reader magically gets turned into a baby or a kid (it's temporary) and we get to see how each dorm would take care of them or babysit in their own way
i recently read a fic (Spring of Canathus (AKA: They’re Babies) by cheapshrimpysheep) where the housewardens were the ones turned into babies and the reader had to take care of them so now i’m curious to see the roles reversed and how you write it!
𐔌 . ⋮ tiny trouble .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱
☓┆ Platonic TWST Dorms x gn! reader
𓏵 2225 words
ᝰ.ᐟ headcanons, they/them pronouns used, fluff
idk if you wanted this to be everyone in the dorms taking care of the reader or just the housewardens so I just did the dorms, hope you don't mind (-ω-;) feel free to like, reblog, or comment!

Due to a magical mishap during a potions class, you—an ordinary Night Raven College student—get accidentally hit by an experimental brew that reverts you to a toddler for a week. Crowley, being the usual "problem-solving" headmaster that he is, decides to put you under the other dorms' care for the time being.
─────────────────────────
The moment Heartslabyul find a tiny version of yourself—no taller than a stack of textbooks—at their doorstep, Riddle is on high alert. He is not used to this sort of chaos, but he's the type who takes responsibility very seriously. As housewarden of Heartslabyul, he refuses to let the situation spiral into madness. You are scooped up and brought into the dorm with all the care of a noble cradling royalty.
“You are still a student of Night Raven College,” he says sternly, but with a touch of red in his cheeks, “and until the potion wears off, you’ll be treated with the utmost propriety.”
Riddle enforces structure even in babysitting: strict bedtime (8 p.m. sharp), healthy snacks (apple slices and tea, no tarts), and scheduled learning time. He reads to you with perfect diction, often from spell theory books he assumes you’ll enjoy. You fall asleep halfway through more often than not.
Trey is the one who bakes soft, kid-friendly pastries and distracts you with silly flour shapes. He’s the gentle uncle-type, letting you sit on the counter while he bakes. Cater takes the most pictures, snapping selfies with you in sparkly filters. You don't know what a 'Magicam story' is in this state, but he assures you that you're going viral. Ace tries to teach you card tricks and gets pouty when you don’t get them right; Deuce is surprisingly gentle, kneeling down and listening to your babbles like they’re sacred law.
Riddle might scold them all for not following proper babysitting etiquette, but there’s no mistaking the way his gaze softens when he sees you giggling in the lounge with your makeshift 'older brothers.' He insists on walking you to and from classes himself, even if it's just down the hallway, muttering something about how the potion should’ve never spilled onto you. When the effect wears off and you’re back to normal, Riddle clears his throat, adjusts his collar, and says:
“Ahem. See that you don't get into such trouble again. But... if it were to happen once more—I suppose Heartslabyul would be prepared.”
─────────────────────────
The moment you’re put into Savannaclaw's care, Leona sighs like the universe itself has conspired to ruin his nap schedule. Still, he doesn’t pawn you off. In fact, he picks you up with surprising ease, balancing you on one hip like he’s done it before.
“Don’t expect me to run around after you,” he grumbles, settling back on his bed with you nestled beside him. “If you’ve got energy, go climb Ruggie or something.”
He’s far from what you'd call the nurturing type, but Leona’s brand of babysitting is more subtle. He keeps you close, even if it’s under the guise of using you as a ‘weighted blanket.’ He lets you nap with his tail draped over you and flicks it just to make you giggle. There’s a protective tilt to his ears whenever someone gets too loud nearby.
Ruggie is the one who takes over most of the hands-on work. He’s a natural babysitter—playful, clever, and good at keeping you entertained. He sneakily sneaks snacks your way and even lets you wear his oversized hoodie. Jack, while flustered, tries to keep things orderly, gently offering you his hand when crossing rooms and awkwardly patting your head.
Leona doesn’t miss any of it. He watches from the sidelines, pretending he’s annoyed by your antics, but every so often, you catch him smirking when you try to roar like a lion cub. He teaches you how to lounge properly (“Pillows, sunshine, and silence; it’s an art.”) and, surprisingly, hums a lullaby when you can't sleep.
When the potion wears off, he barely reacts, just flicks your forehead and mutters, “About time.” But later that day, Ruggie approaches you and is eager to tell you all about how soft their housewarden got for the small price of a snack.
─────────────────────────
The moment you were turned into a child and put into Octavinelle's care, Azul was both horrified and intrigued. Horrified because this sort of mishap could potentially cause trouble towards the dorm, and intrigued because, well, he knows all about the marketing genius of getting cute kids to advertise your brand.
Despite his usual composed demeanor, Azul would be extremely careful with you. He wouldn't leave you alone in the lounge, and he'd adjust his tone to be more soothing, almost like how he talks to nervous clients. At one point, you ask if he's your dad now (to the amusement of the twins), and Azul nearly chokes on his tea. "N-No! Absolutely not! I'm merely acting in the best interest of your safety!"
Jade, ever the picture of eerie calm, takes on the role of silent guardian. He's the one making sure you eat, giving you nutritious meals (even if they taste suspiciously like mushrooms), and walking you around the halls with the smooth cadence of a butler. When you start tugging on his sleeve and babbling his name out loud, he only smiles and corrects your posture.
Floyd, on the other hand, thinks this is the best thing that has ever happened. He calls you "Shrimpy Jr." (since you're much smaller than before) and swings you around like a plush toy. He’ll let you sit on his shoulders, give you snacks Azul told him not to, and constantly whines when you get sleepy: “Nooo, Shrimpy Jr.’s nap time again? Boring~! Lemme keep ‘em!”
Between Azul’s careful supervision, Jade’s quiet attentiveness, and Floyd’s chaotic affection, you’re constantly watched—and probably a little spoiled.
─────────────────────────
"A baby?!" Kalim shouts, holding you up like you're the rarest treasure in all of the Scalding Sands, having picked you up from Scarabia's doorstep. "Jamil, look! They're so tiny! Can we keep them?!"
Jamil, ever the voice of reason (and sarcasm), groans. "Kalim, they’re not a pet. They're a student who unfortunately fell victim to a cauldron spilling in potions class. We have to take care of them until they turn back."
But for the time being, you're taken under Scarabia's warm, chaotic wing. Kalim is constantly making sure you’re entertained—building pillow forts, teaching you how to ride the magic carpet (at a very slow speed, much to Jamil’s relief), and throwing spontaneous parties. He even tries to share his jewelry with you, which ends with you trying to eat a ruby ring. Jamil intervenes just in time.
Jamil, while grumbling the whole time, is incredibly attentive. He brushes your hair, makes sure you’re not being overwhelmed, and slips in educational games between Kalim’s circus acts. His stern exterior doesn’t last long when you tug at his sleeve and ask him to read to you. He rolls his eyes, sighs heavily, and pulls out a book—though a small smile betrays him halfway through the first story.
The rest of Scarabia treats you like a tiny sibling. Some of the dorm members even start playing around with you or gently chasing you around the courtyard for laughs. The atmosphere is vibrant, warm, and full of cushiony comfort.
Scarabia doesn’t just babysit you—they adore you.
─────────────────────────
Pomefiore, known for its emphasis on beauty, grace, and discipline, was not exactly designed for childcare. Yet, as soon as Vil caught wind of your condition, he took it upon himself to ensure you were cared for to Pomefiore standards—which, of course, meant you would be the most well-dressed and well-behaved child in all of NRC.
“You may be a child for now, but that’s no excuse to run wild,” Vil said sternly as he adjusted the tiny, custom-made outfit he had designed for you—embroidered with subtle violets and perfectly tailored to your smaller frame. “A lapse in age is no excuse for a lapse in dignity.”
He was surprisingly good with you. Not overly doting, but attentive. Every meal was nutritious and artfully plated. Every nap was scheduled between soothing herbal tea and classical music in the background. Vil kept you engaged with picture books that had tasteful color palettes, and he always insisted on wiping your face after every snack with a soft handkerchief.
Sometimes, he’d sigh when you clung to him, resting your small head against his shoulder. But he never pushed you away. He’d simply hold you with a gentle firmness, murmuring, “You’re lucky you’re cute. Though I suppose that’s to be expected in Pomefiore.”
Epel, on the other hand, was… not as thrilled. He wasn’t bad with kids—he just wasn’t sure how to handle you. His country upbringing kicked in once he got past the shock, and he’d sometimes sneak you extra sweets or entertain you with silly faces and gestures Vil would scold him for.
“They're just a kid,” Epel muttered once as Vil reprimanded him for letting you run barefoot around the halls. “Shouldn’t they be allowed to have a little fun?” But even as he grumbled, Epel made sure you were never too far from his sight.
Rook treated the whole ordeal like some rare opportunity granted by fate. “Ah, our dear trickster has become even more precious in this petite form,” he’d say dramatically, crouching beside you to speak in soft tones. He was the most patient of the trio—amused by your curiosity, thrilled by your giggles, and more than happy to carry you around when you grew tired.
He’d hum old ballads to you, completely serious, as if serenading a noble in disguise.
There was a calm rhythm to your days in Pomefiore. The dorm members made sure you were safe, clean, and gently cared for. And even when Vil insisted on posture drills and hand-washing rituals, he still tucked you in at night with the quiet pride of someone who didn’t know how to express affection except through precision.
─────────────────────────
The moment Crowley settled your toddler self in Ignihyde, Idia, of course, panicked. Not because he didn’t care, but because this was way outside his comfort zone. "A kid? Here? In my dorm? What if they touch my figurines?! What if they drool on the keyboard?!"
Eventually, after some encouragement from Ortho, he awkwardly ventures out of his room to see you—standing in the middle of the Ignihyde hallway in an oversized hoodie, blinking up at him.
You wave. He freezes.
"...They're kinda cute."
Despite his anxiety, Idia takes good care of you in his own way. He sets up a comfy corner in his room filled with plushies, distracts you with a kid-friendly video game with Ortho, and even gives you a tablet to run drawing apps and cartoons. He talks to you like any game character would to a baby NPC, interacting with you as if you have preset responses and reactions.
Ortho, of course, becomes your babysitter #1. He reads you stories, checks your vitals, and even plays hide-and-seek at slow speeds so you can win. The rest of Ignihyde? Mostly confused. They're not used to visitors—especially tiny ones—but they adapt quickly, always offering you something to distract yourself with whenever you approach them, so they could go back to doing whatever they wanted to.
─────────────────────────
No one in Diasomnia was particularly shocked when you got turned into a baby; strange magical occurrences were practically the norm around this school. What did surprise everyone was how quickly the entire dorm fell into sync taking care of you.
Malleus was delighted. “Child of man, you’re even smaller than usual,” he’d say, beaming. He would speak to you in an oddly formal but gentle tone, lifting you effortlessly into his arms and carrying you through misty halls. His stories about Briar Valley fairy tales might be a bit long-winded for a child, but his soothing voice made you drowsy all the same.
Lilia took over your care like it was second nature. He hummed lullabies from ancient times, cooked suspicious meals that Malleus forbade you from eating, and jokingly encouraged you to ‘practice your dagger form’ using butter knives (which was quickly vetoed by Sebek).
Sebek, torn between duty and panic, kept trying to salute you like you were a visiting dignitary. “You, tiny human, must not—! I mean—you should not toddle into Malleus-sama's room with muddy shoes! Respect the Young Master’s halls!” He kept insisting on reading you Briar Valley etiquette books. You fell asleep halfway through page one.
Silver, dependable as ever, carried you around when you got tired. You fell asleep on his shoulder more than once, his calm aura a comforting presence. He read you animal tales with a soft smile, occasionally nodding off beside you.
Other Diasomnia members kept a respectful distance but left you with trinkets you could play around with.
Under their collective care, you felt like royalty—cradled in a dorm where ancient power met tender affection.

how do you think jealous glinda would act
JEALOUS GALINDA HEADCANNONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings : none!
author’s note : this got me out of my writers block ( FREAKING FINALLY ) so thank you anon!
⭑ galinda loves being the centre of attention, loves it, especially when she gets to be the centre of your attention. she’s not used to not getting what she wants, not used to not being the sun, the moon, the planets, and stars in everyone’s galaxy, so the idea of her having to share your attention with anyone else is such a foreign concept to her
⭑ galinda, who always wants to hang out with you! she wants to study together ( though it’s mostly you working and her staring at you with big goo goo eyes because you look so pretty when you’re concentrating! ) or going on super elaborate dates she’s planned out, or just hanging out in her dorm and kissing until she can’t stop giggling
⭑ so when you start to hang out with someone else just a tad bit more than you do her, like maybe you eat lunch with some your classmates instead of going off with her, or if you say you can’t come over that night because you’re hanging out with someone else, she freaks out!
⭑ why don’t you wanna hang out with her anymore? did she do something wrong? was she a bad girlfriend? did she hurt your feelings? elphaba finds her in bed curled up in ball with her knees tucked up to her chest, overthinking every little thing the two of you have ever done, trying to figure out why you might be mad at her
⭑ spoiler alert! you’re not mad! she’s just a chronic overthinker who can’t go a day without getting to hold your hand and kiss you
⭑ the moment you come over next she’s bawling in your arms and begging for you to forgive her because she doesn’t understand why you’re mad and she’s sorry if she hurt your feelings! she’s so not used to feeling so strongly about someone and she doesn’t want to mess a single thing up
⭑ in an instant you’re cuddling her and kissing her face and insisting she didn’t do anything wrong, and that she’s been nothing but the most amazing girlfriend imaginable! you just wanted to spend some time with your other friends, that’s all! you don’t love her any less
⭑ she’s all pouty and red in the face and somehow as elegant and pretty as ever, maybe even more, when she looks up at you
“galinda, what are you talking about? you are nothing short of the most amazing girlfriend on the planet! just because we’re not spending every second of every day together doesn’t mean i love you any less”
“you p - p - promise?”
⭑ galinda tries not to be super clingy after that, tries to teach herself that just because you’re hanging out with your friends or you’re not sleeping over every night, that it doesn’t mean you don’t care about her or what to break up, tries to teach herself that she doesn’t need to be always be the centre of attention. she’s still learning! it’s her first time being a relationship that she really does care about
⭑ of course she can only handle so much, it’s hard not to be clingy and possessive when she sees someone blatantly flirting with you! you’re her girlfriend after all!
⭑ the moment someone touches your arm sweetly or compliments your hair or clothes in a definitively not platonic way, she’s practically appearing at your side, arms wrapped around your waist with her face nuzzled into your shoulder
⭑ she’s constantly kissing your cheek, snuggling up against you, squeezing your hand, and repeating the word ‘girlfriend’ over and over until whoever decided they had the right to even breathe in the direction of you awkwardly wanders off
“oh! i don’t believe we’ve met, i’m galinda upland, her GIRLFRIEND!” “i was just in the bathroom, hope i didn’t keep my GIRLFRIEND waiting for too long!” “thanks for taking such good care of my GIRLFRIEND, but i can take it from here, as i am her GIRLFRIEND, and she is my GIRLFRIEND”
⭑ she doesn’t leave your side for the rest of the night, flipping her hair in the direction of ( and maybe even into the face of ) anyone who tries to hit on you. you’re her girlfriend! not theirs!
⭑ she can’t help but feel insecure though, her face is a nervous mix between a scowl and a pout for most of the night, constantly squeezing your hand as if to remind herself that you’re very much still there, that you haven’t left her for someone else
⭑ it’s not until she drags you back to her dorm does she break down, blubbering about how she’s worried about ‘not being good enough’ and how ‘everyone who hit on you was so much sexier and cooler than her’ and how ‘she’s not even that good of a girlfriend because she doesn’t know what she’s doing! but she doesn’t want to screw anything up!’
⭑ you’re barely able to calm her down, let alone pull her into your arms and lead her over towards her bed
“ssh, sh, hey, hey, galinda look at me. nobody at that stupid party was as cool or sexy or amazing as you are. you are the brightest, most wonderful person i’ve ever met, and i’d be an idiot to even consider dumping you for some dumb guy or girl who tries to hit on me. you don’t have to be perfect, nobodies perfect baby, but you are damn well pretty close. i love galinda upland, nothings gonna change that”
⭑ somehow that made her cry more! not out of sadness but just because she’s so overwhelmed with joy and love because you love her and you think she’s perfect and pretty and sexy and amazing, and it made her heart flutter in her chest so hard she’s worried it’ll explode
⭑ she flops right against you, burying her face into your shoulder and mumbling ‘i love you’ over and over and over until she finally stops crying, and by then you’re both exhausted
⭑ you end up spending the night at hers, galinda tucked against your chest your face buried in her hair, arms cradling her protectively
⭑ she ends up staying awake long after you’ve fallen asleep. titling her head up just so, watching and listening to you breathe because you’re the most gorgeous creature on earth and she’s the one who gets to lay against you like this, and she’s not sure something else has ever made her happier

It took a bit of time, but a determined sorcerer, a determined angel, and several infuriated demons can do pretty much anything they set their minds to. Solomon broke through dimensional travel quite easily upon realizing you'd been summoned from another world, despite originally being from the human realm in this world. It was narrowing down which dimension that was the issue.
But knowing that you were missing your friends and your cat, and the idea that they could possibly reunited with them made them work even harder. Not to mention pressure from both Lucifer and Diavolo, who wanted to 'exchange words' with your previous headmaster and his teaching tactics. They wanted to see the people you speak so highly of. And Satan and Solomon want to meet your cat.
They were trying their hardest to lessen your homesickness while they worked on finding a way there. And it worked. Until the portal opened, and you were the first to volunteer to go through. You couldn't wait! You were going to see your friends again, you were going to see Grim again! So you took your boys, and you went through the portal.
Lucifer:
"Grim!" You yelled, upon seeing the cat, being carried by your friends as they walked around campus.
They all turned upon hearing your voice, but Grim was the fastest to react. He flew over faster than anyone else could say 'MC' and threw his paws around your neck, hugging you as tight as he could. He wanted to make sure you weren't a hallucination. You hugged back, not as tight, for fear of hurting him, but still tight. He was crying, you were crying. Your friends rushed over not long after, gently dragging the pair of you away from Lucifer, who had been standing beside you.
They quickly piled onto the hug, until no one was really sure who was hugging who, but you were in the center, surrounded by warmth and love. Everyone was crying, at least a little bit, but they would never admit it in a million years. Lucifer looked on fondly, reminded that you had friends, a found family, outside of him and his brothers, as well as the others.
"Where is the headmaster's office?" He asked after everyone separated, but before they could ask you questions.
"Oh right, you wanted to talk to Crowley." You sniffled, wiping away the tears, and letting Grim crawl up to lay across your shoulders. "I can show you. You guys want to come with? We can catch up and you can get to know my new housewarden." You winked at Lucifer, who simply rolled his eyes in a manner more befitting of someone who was amused, than annoyed.
"We're never leaving your side again." Deuce deadpanned, looking you in the eyes. "You gave us all heart attacks when you just disappeared like that!"
"Yeah! We thought our housewardens were going to overblot, again!" Epel agreed.
"Sorry about that." You smiled, laughing awkwardly. "I didn't really have control over that, though."
"It's true. MC was summoned by Lord Diavolo, they had no say in the matter."
"I don't mind though." You beamed at Lucifer. "I live with Lucifer, and his brothers."
"Perhaps you can regale them with your tales of adventure while you show me to the headmasters office." Lucifer agreed, gesturing for you to lead the way. You nodded, and began to do so.
You told your friends of your adventures in the Devildom. About the Crown Prince, and his wonderful butler. About the insanely powerful wizard. You spoke rather highly of the seven demons you're staying with. You did conveniently "forget" to mention that one of them killed you, and more of them tried, but you're all cool now.
You talked extensively about how well you were treated, to make sure your friends knew that while you missed them, you were safe. And you were happy. You felt bad for making them worry, so you figured you should put their minds at ease about the time you spent away.
They didn't say it, but your friends took note of how people in the hallways practically dove out of the way as you and Lucifer walked through the halls. They knew Lucifer was powerful, hell, Deuce bet he could feel his magical ability from a mile away, maybe more. But they originally thought this would be similar to Malleus, and how people respected and got out of his way.
But oddly enough, they noticed that it wasn't necessarily intimidation, or respect, but outright fear that seemed to be driving these people away. As you smiled, and chattered on about how you couldn't wait to take Grim home and cuddle with him in a bed that isn't rotting, and have him meet your new roommates, and Lucifer walked mostly silently, his eyes forward, or on you, at all times, people were desperate to get out of the way. Epel swears he saw someone jump out of a window when they got close enough. And they didn't understand it. Malleus elicited a reaction similar, but this? This was on another level. And something about it made them doubt that Crowley would leave talking with Lucifer alive.
You spotted a familiar face, one that you really wanted Lucifer to meet. You figured that it would be best for him to meet one of the more competent members of staff before he met.... Crowley. You beamed, seeing Crewel.
"Professor Crewel!" You called out, breaking off from the group to rush up to him. "Lucifer come on!" You turned back before you reached him, gesturing for Lucifer to follow you. "I want you to meet Professor Crewel." He sighed, but agreed, walking forward, as you rushed to greet your old professor.
"Pup!" He called upon seeing you, briskly walking up to you, and grabbing your face, quickly inspecting for any bruises or signs of illness or anything else. "Are you ok? When I was informed you simply disappeared, I didn't know what happened. I was so worried!"
"I'm alright!" You promised. "I was brought back to my world, sort of. It's a little hard to explain." You laughed, deciding to leave out the part where you live in what is technically Hell. "I'm sorry to have worried you so much, I didn't really have any control over my leaving. But you can rest assured! I'm in good hands! See this is," You looked back to see Lucifer looking at something on one of the walls, "Lucifer! What's got your attention?"
"Nothing." He shook his head. "I just saw someone I thought I knew." He smiled fondly at the thought, walking over to you.
You didn't know it at the time, and you wouldn't for a long time. But the person he thought he saw was you, specifically you on a missing person poster. Your friends had plastered the school with them, along with the town nearby, and managed to even send some to Royal Sword Academy.
"Professor Crewel, this is Lucifer. He acts as the Housewarden for where I live now, but he does a lot more than just act as Housewarden. Lucifer, this is one of the more competent members of staff here at Night Raven, Professor Divus Crewel. He teaches potionology."
"So you're taking care of my pup?"
"MC is in my care, yes." Lucifer nodded. "Were you the one taking care of them while they were here?"
"Unfortunately not. Had I been allowed to act as their guardian, they would've been significantly better taken care of. However, I wasn't allowed to do much for them."
"Professor Crewel did all he could." You told Lucifer. "Professor Crewel," he looked to you, and you smiled, almost maliciously, a look he was curious to see on your face, "Lucifer is on his way to talk to Crowley. Do you happen to know if he's in his office?"
You and Crewel had a silent conversation, one where he realized your plan. You were going to let Lucifer tear Crowley a new one. Verbally is the intention, but no one would complain if it was physically as well. Especially not you, and definitely not Crewel.
His smile turned evil, matching your own in a way that people might swear make you look related. You both chuckled slightly, in an evil way before Crewel nodded, pleased with your unspoken plan. He cleared his throat in a belated attempt to cover his laughter. He looked between you and Lucifer.
"He is, in his office. He actually just got back." You groaned out of sympathy.
"Another vacation?"
"Yes." He nodded, sighing.
"Vacation? In the middle of the school year?" Lucifer questioned. Ace, with no sense of self-preservation, patted Lucifer on the shoulder casually.
"He does that a lot. And all his work used to get pinned on poor MC." You realized what he was doing, but didn't say anything.
"It's true, he used to give them all his work when he wanted to go on an impromptu vacation." Jack agreed.
"Crewel and Trein would take the work when they could, but they are full-time professors, after all." You sighed, shrugging. "Remember all those sleepless nights Grim?"
"Yeah." He yawned. "I'm tired just thinking about them."
"Well those are no more, Grim."
"That so?"
"Lucifer." You looked at him. "You get to keep Cerberus." You teased.
"Cerberus serves a purpose." He teased back, but in a tone that would make anyone that didn't know him think he was serious.
"I'll find a way to convince Satan to stop pranking you for a month if you let me bring Grim back."
"Deal." He agreed.
You both nodded, before following Crewel towards Crowley's office, your friends in tow. Walking the familiar path towards the office of the man who had been the source of so much anxiety for you for so long made you remember the bad times, and you instinctively leaned closer to Lucifer. He didn't move from his position, but also didn't tell you to lean away. There was a sense of pride within him, based on how safe you felt with him.
Once you reached his office door, Crewel looked back at you before knocking on the door. A voice sounded from within, telling Crewel to come in. Crowley. He opened the door, and you stood stone still, like a statue, seeing the inside of his office, knowing just how much stress had come from that place. Sebek was about to reach out, tell you that you didn't have to go in, when Lucifer gently nudged you forward. You steeled yourself, and entered the room.
Crowley stood from his previously extremely relaxed position upon seeing you. Beaming at you, like he had done no wrong. You stepped aside, not revealing Lucifer, as he was quite large, but drawing attention to him. You took a deep breath, before looking at Lucifer.
"Have at thee." You gestured at Crowley.
"Are you completely incompetent?" Lucifer started, and you smiled, gesturing for your friends to come in. Ace was recording it, to no one's shock, and telling you he would send it to you once they figured out inter-dimensional texting.
You all watched as Lucifer tore apart Crowley. From his teaching, to his work ethic, to his spending, to the state of his student body's mental health, not that you really thought he was able to speak on the matter. Eventually, and you never thought you'd see the day this happened, he simply stooped to insulting his appearance and intelligence.
Lucifer was pissed, and he was pissed on your behalf. He knew he was imposing, and scary, he knew if you really wanted to you could have the same effect. But he also knew you shouldn't have to. And that if he could do this for you, after all this man put you through, then it's the least he could do as a way to repay you for helping him and his brothers.
It was a satisfying experience. Though not nearly as satisfying as watching Lucifer straight up bitch-slap Crowley after he tried to insult you. You simply held Grim in front of you, stroking his fur in the same way a movie villain might. Taking pride in how much Lucifer cared about how badly you'd been treated, and rectifying this horrible experience, in his own way.
Mammon:
"I told ya didn't I?" Mammon boasted. "I told ya I'd getcha to your cat." He beamed.
You were positively vibrating with excitement. You were back in Twisted Wonderland, and you couldn't wait to see everyone again. You were excited to see your friends, sure, but you were overly excited to see Grim. You really wanted Mammon, and everyone else in the Devildom to meet him. But more than anything you want to be able to sleep again, with Grim right there beside you.
You could see it now, the arguing between Mammon and Grim about who was the favorite. Them calling you henchman and human. You really hoped they would get along, but you also know that bickering is their love language, so who knows how this will go?
"Trickster!" You turned at the familiar voice of the one, and only, Rook Hunt. "You have returned!"
"Rook!" You called, cheerfully. He swept you into an enormous hug, laughing as he did so.
"Oi!" You heard Mammon exclaim, so you separated from the eccentric archer.
"Rook, meet my friend Mammon. Mammon, this is Rook Hunt. He's an archer who goes to school here. Rook, I live with Mammon, now." You introduced, and they shook hands. Mammon was hesitant, But Rook was enthusiastic. "And we're actually on a mission, we're,"
"Looking for Monsieur Fuzzball?" Rook guessed, not looking away from Mammon, who he seemed to be studying.
"Yes!"
"I thought yer cats name was Grim?"
"It is. Rook gives everyone a nickname. Monsieur Fuzzball is just what he calls Grim." Mammon looked increasingly unnerved by Rooks staring, and the fact that he hadn't stopped shaking his hand yet.
"I believe you will find him in Headmaster Crowley's office." You grabbed Rooks hand, taking it off Mammons.
"Rook. Hunt. What in the whole of Twisted Wonderland, do you mean, Grim is in Headmaster Crowley's office?" You asked sternly.
"I simply mean that he's in there. I know not why, just that your friends, Monsieur Heart and Monsieur Spade were talking about it with Roi des Roses. They wanted to get him out, but Roi des Roses didn't let them." Rook explained in that ever-cheerful tone of his. You felt your eye twitch.
"Mammon," You turned, a strained smile painting your features, "I will tell you where Lucifer hid your three backup credit cards, and feed your raven familiars for two weeks, no complaints. If you help me get my cat out of Crowley's office."
"Do you not wish to see the others in your first year group?" Rook asked.
"I can catch up with them after, I don't trust Crowley with Grim." You snapped at Rook, before turning to Mammon. "If I direct you can you speed up the travel?"
"How am I s'posed to do that?"
"Dude, you can fly. And you love a dramatic entrance."
"You know which windows his though?"
"Course I do, I used to throw rocks at it when I was feeling particularly angry." You shrugged. "Come on, Mammon. Please!" You begged.
"Alright, alright. Just cuz you asked so nicely of the Great Mammon." He chuckled, smiling proudly.
"Mammon! Now!" You demanded, and he jumped, but nodded, and transformed into his demon form and picked you up.
He took off with ease, holding you like some sort of teddy bear. You guys have done this before, often enough for him to be confident in flying with you in his arms, but not often enough for you to be any less scared about this sensation. It wasn't exactly fun to be flying at high speeds with the only thing securing you being Mammons arms. Granted, he is insanely strong, so it's not that you think he'd drop you, it's just a scary feeling.
You can't exactly yell over the sound of the wind, it's very loud, and it gets hard to breathe when going at high speeds like this, so speaking is kind of inconvenient. Instead of talking to Mammon, to tell him where to go, you pointed. It's a rather effective system, you've found. You directed him through the large buildings on campus, and pointed at one specific window.
You'd seen the school from above before. Ace had always been rather fond of scaring you by doing this, Deuce hot on his trail. And Malleus was always very nice when it came to helping you experience the things the other first years get to do but you can't because of your lack of magic. Not to mention all those times Kalim kidnapped you on his magic carpet, much to Jamil's chagrin.
Mammon, without a moments hesitation, quickly moved one of his hands to cover your head, and rammed into the window of Crowley's office. He was careful in his landing, he always is, but he was extra careful with the glass being on the ground. You spotted Grim, sitting in a corner. You rushed over to hug him, as Mammon looked around the office. He narrowed his eyes, noting the distinct lack of anyone but Grim.
"Where's Crowley?" You asked Grim, voicing Mammon's question.
"He brought me in here and he left. He locked the door behind him. He was wearing his vacation shirt." Grim told you, hugging you back as tight as he could.
"He locked you in here?!" You asked, outraged. Grim nodded. "Dire Crowley, you will pay." You muttered, feeling Satan's influence overcome you. But you took some deep breaths and stood up, turning to Mammon. "Mammon, this is Grim. Grim, this is Mammon. If you want to come with us, we'll both be living with him, and his brothers."
"I'm never leaving you again."
"The feeling is mutual." You smiled at your beloved cat. "So, we've made our dramatic entrance, shall we use the door this time?"
"It's locked." Grim reminded.
"Not for the Great Mammon." You teased. "Right?"
"Right!" Mammon agreed, before ramming into the door. You blinked, looking at the shards of wood on the floor, looking through the hole he made at his proud smiling face.
"I meant, pick the lock." You laughed lightly.
"Oh. I knew that. Obviously. I just thought, I mean, obviously, this was just, quicker."
"Is he dumb?"
"You have no room to talk, Grim." You reminded, reaching through the hole and unlocked the door, pushing it open.
After stepping over the shards of wood, Grim migrated to be laying across your shoulders, and you linked arms with Mammon. You laughed at his request to avoid the strange man from earlier. You didn't say it to him, but you knew that if Rook really wanted to, there would be no stopping him from finding you. After all, he managed to follow Vil all the way to that island just to give him his skincare.
Instead, you figured you should head to find your friends and explain where the hell, pun intended, you've been. You hummed, trying to think about where they were, and how to get all of them together. Ace and Deuce should come first, they'll likely be together, and you know where they probably are. They can then text the others.
Though, the more you thought of it, the more you slightly dreaded the thought. You missed your friends, and you really wanted to see them! But you also knew they attracted trouble like no one else can, and Mammon would only intensify that. So as you silently debated the consequences of this course of action, you made your way to Heartslabyul.
"We have to sneak." You whispered, pulling Mammon behind a bush.
"Why?" Mammon whispered back.
"I don't remember all the rules of Heartslabyul, there's 810. I don't remember if there are any rules about visitors, whether that be times visitors can be here, how many, unannounced, I don't know. Riddle's great, but I don't want to get collared. Though," You looked at Mammon, "I am slightly curious about how his collar would affect you."
"Collar?"
"Yeah, it's his signature spell, it's called 'Off with your head'. It creates a collar around your neck, a rather obvious one," You pointed at a student walking away from the main building, dejected, with a collar around his neck, "that's one. They all look like that. And it seals your magic. But you're technically a magical being of demonic origin."
You shrugged as you looked around to see if you could spot Cater or Trey, or one of the others to bring you in without Riddle knowing. You wanted to see him, but you would like to confirm you wouldn't be breaking any rules first. You didn't, but you'd snuck into Heartslabyul enough to know how to sneak in without Riddle knowing. You gestured for Mammon to follow you, and he did, as you expertly weaved through the rosebushes, pausing every now and then as you saw students that might rat you out to Riddle. You made it into the building, Grim still laying across your shoulders, with Mammon in tow.
"Is this how yer so good at sneaking around the House of Lamentation ?" Mammon hissed as you headed to the kitchen.
"Yes, and also no. It's partly to blame, but not the entire reason." You hissed back.
"You both should shut up!" Grim hissed to both of us. You both looked at Grim before you sighed, nodded, and continued going to the kitchen.
Heartslabyul is a maze on a day that you're welcome, but as you dodged and weaved, avoiding all possible students, it felt like a labyrinth, and you were outrunning Riddle the Minotaur. Of course, this wasn't true. And you knew in the back of your mind that Riddle would likely welcome you, you didn't want to risk it.
You had debated bringing Mammon somewhere else and just asking another person to text your friends, but you knew that Mammon would cause trouble wherever, you'd rather have Trey on-hand than put that responsibility on anyone else. And also you wanted to talk to your friends in person before anyone got the chance to tell them you were back.
"Apparently, someone crashed into Crowley's office, stole Grim and left."
"And it wasn't the two of you?" Trey asked Deuce, who had been talking. You stopped Mammon from walking as you eavesdropped on the conversation in the kitchen.
"Do you see Grim? If we took him he'd be here." Ace reasoned, and you could practically see him rolling his eyes.
"Do you think it has something to do with that flying figure people were talking about earlier?"
"Riddle told you both to stop spreading rumors." Trey gently scolded.
"It's not a rumor! People saw it, there's photos." Deuce defended.
"It's probably just another student on a broom, that accidentally crashed into Headmaster Crowley's office window." Trey tried.
"Broom?" Mammon asked.
"It's a magical conduit, they use it to fly." You explained quietly.
Deciding it would be best to just get this over with, you sighed, and moved to stand in front of the kitchen door. You knocked lightly on the door, getting a quick response from Trey. Pushing the door open, you smiled at the familiar sight, noting how none of them were looking at you, or at Mammon. Trey was the first to notice, nearly dropping the bowl that was in his hands at the sight of you.
Seeing his reaction, both Ace and Deuce turned to the door, their jaws practically hitting the floor. They rushed over, nearly tackling you in the process, hitting each other, trying to hold you longer than the other. Trey just watched fondly as they fought, you in the middle, and all the nostalgia of having seen this interaction happen many times before.
It's likely that none of you would've separated on your own accord, had Mammon not yelped, jumping out from behind the wall, and drawing attention to himself. But, it wasn't him making a loud noise that caught your eye, but the new shiny collar around his neck, which made you laugh. You turned, smiling at Riddle, who had seen the unfamiliar man from afar.
"Yeah," you smiled, nodding to yourself as you looked around, not having seen all your friends yet, but happy nonetheless, "it's good to be back."
Leviathan:
It figures that you'd find Grim in Ignihyde. Idia always did like cats, and though you loved your friend group, you had secretly hoped that he would end up in Ignihyde. Not only because then he would surely be fed, he'd have Ortho, and Idia. And while he may have known more people in, say, Heartslabyul, the dorm Idia led tended to be much more to Grim's liking. This was likely because he's fed not only breakfast, but also second breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner, and snacks between all those, as well as fed at all the Heartslabyul events he's surely invited to. It's also dark, and quiet, which means he gets to sleep all he likes.
You were glad your companion was in a place that really would take good care of him, you trusted Idia with that, Ortho too. Speaking of Ortho, it was actually the technomatic humanoid that found you and Leviathan, almost immediately. You had the sneaking suspicion that Idia was watching the cameras again, and told him to go get you. But you also had no proof, and certainly weren't going to accuse the Ignihyde dormhead of doing that without it.
Ortho had given you a tight squeeze, and was chattering the whole way to Ignihyde as Levi trailed behind you. Once actually in Ignihyde, he clung to your arm, so as not to lose you as he marveled at all the technology in the labyrinth-like dorm. He was quiet as Ortho talked about all that you had missed, and where Grim was. Apparently, he was in Idia's room right now, but once Grim and you reunite, Ortho promised to message your other friends, the other first years. He didn't even question the man attached to your arm, though, to be fair, you acted like this was normal, so he likely didn't want to accidentally offend your new companion.
Upon reaching Idia's dorm door, Ortho knocked, still cheery as ever, and Idia didn't respond. Ah yes, the usual behavior, you thought, knowing he wouldn't want to interact with Leviathan unless he had to. However, when Idia didn't answer, and likely recognizing the knock, Grim did. The door was opened for you, and in you went, immediately, your eyes darted to your feline-like friend, laying on his own regal, and very expensive-looking, cat bed.
Without hesitating, you pulled out of Levi's grip, and dashed towards Grim in excitement, smooshing him into a tight, yet not painful for him, hug.
"Oi! What have I said about," He started to scold, but stopped upon his quick realization that it was you holding him, and not some random Ignihyde student with enough audacity to rival Crowley in Grim's mind. "MC." He said, fondness and excitement seeping into his tone as he hugged you back as tight as his little arms would allow.
"Have you gained weight?" You asked, to which he pushed you back, looking offended. "Not in a bad way, dummy, in like, I can't feel your ribs when I hug you anymore kind of way. In a good way." You reassured. "Hi Idia!" You called, looking at your flaming-haired friend in his gaming chair.
"Hey, MC." He greeted somewhat fondly.
"Is this the otaku friend you have that you told me about?" Levi asked. You nodded.
"Idia is one of the best gamers of both video and board variety in Night Raven College. He also has extensive anime and manga knowledge, as well as other things. His collections of merchandise, manga, video games, and anime is equally as impressive as yours are. He doesn't have a giant aquarium in his room, but his stuffs all state of the art." You explained in Idia's place.
This is something they're both passionate about, but Idia is far more introverted than Leviathan, who is very loud and proud of his interests. You do think that they might get along, of course, there's no guarantee. They're both highly competitive, and to be honest, you don't really want them to play competitive video games against each other, because you fear the consequences.
"As much as I would love for you two to be able to play video games and discuss anime and manga, I also know that Ortho texted the first years the moment I hugged Grim, and Idia does not want them in his room. You'll just have to talk later." You smiled, gently grabbing Levi, Grim still hugged to your chest. "Come on, Levi, I think you understand not wanting a bunch of rowdy freshman in your room, right?" He nodded.
"We need to play video games together later though." Levi was looking at you, but you knew he was talking about Idia.
"Maybe Lilia will let you use his PC to play against Idia until we figure out inter-dimensional communication." You offered, tugging lightly on Levi's sleeve. "Come on, Levi. Bye Idia!"
You smiled at him and he waved as you left, and you could tell he was grateful you were making Levi leave with you. And while he would never voice it, you could also tell he was a little annoyed that you had brought Levi into his dorm at all.
You let Ortho guide you back out, not being nearly familiar enough with the layout after so much time to make it out without getting lost first, and this time Levi was asking Ortho all kinds of questions. Not only about the technology in Ignihyde, but also about the kinds of video games and video game consoles this world has. You had warned Levi beforehand, when talking about Idia and Ortho, to not talk about Ortho being a technomatic humanoid, or an android that looks like a human. No matter how much he wants to.
Once out, you were greeted by the group of first years you consider family. Leviathan, upon seeing Jack and Sebek were taller than him, but the rest were noticeably shorter, almost asked what they were feeding the sixteen year olds in this world, and why did it make those two so tall. That being said, Leviathan couldn't help but be slightly envious when you dashed away from him towards the group, giving each of them a tight hug, Grim standing nearby as he watched you reunite with your friends, but you picked him up quickly after.
After making sure everyone was thoroughly greeted, you beckoned Leviathan closer, a smile on your face as you introduced him as your Lord of Shadows, and your favorite roommate, which quelled his envy quite a bit. You smiled, seeing him, admittedly awkwardly, interact with your friends, Grim even begrudgingly letting him pet him. However, there was one thing that stuck out to you.
"What's this I hear about me letting someone use my PC?" You shrieked as Lilia popped up behind you, startling everyone, with the exception of Sebek, who was used to Lilia's antics by now.
"Lilia!" You scolded, before laughing.
Asmodeus:
You were glad you'd picked Asmodeus to go with you, when you arrived only to immediately be pulled right back into the antics of your friends. It was like you had never left. However, you didn't get to see Grim right away, oh no, no. You saw everyone but Epel and Grim because Crewel had decided Grim should stay in Pomefiore while he was away trying to petition Crowley get removed. They barely noticed Asmodeus' presence, not even really acknowledging his existence, which pissed him off but you quietly begged him to just let it go.
He did, which actually worked in your favor.
The antics you were pulled into were your friends attempting to pull a rescue mission for Epel and Grim, as Vil was overseeing them right now. This means that they're not only dodging Vil, they're dodging Rook, and also half of Pomefiore. You glanced at Asmo as Vil was mentioned, watching his jaw clench.
Ever since you told Asmo what Vil had done in preparation for the VDC/SDC he's been rather keen on meeting him, if only to rip into him for the damage he could've done to you mentally, and the damage he did do financially. You would stop him if he went too far, he knew you would, so he wasn't too worried about getting in trouble. And if he did, he would simply charm his way out.
You all approached Pomefiore with as much stealth as you could muster, for a bunch of sixteen year old boys, plus you, and Asmo, who was wearing heels. You stayed close to your friends, but kept a close eye on Asmodeus.
You were all crouched below the window to the room where Epel and Grim were, as well as Vil, and you think maybe Rook, but you didn't see him. Then again, you rarely do if he doesn't want you to, scarily enough. You watched for a few moments as Vil gave both Epel and Grim a rigorous etiquette lesson, and once he deemed necessary, a break was taken. Once a break was taken, the window was pulled open a little, as it opened outward, and the plan commenced.
"Psst." Ace hissed quietly, which caught Epel's attention.
Epel glanced over and saw Ace, and then you, and nearly gave you all away with the way he almost gasped. He instead, clamped his mouth shut, gently grabbed Grim, and as nonchalantly as he could muster, walked over to the window.
He held Grim out the window and dropped him, right into your awaiting arms, before he hopped out, and closed the window behind him. Vil had not noticed, mission accomplished. Epel gave you an extremely tight hug, with his farm-boy strength nobody realizes he has, and made a quiet promise to catch up with you once you were away from the dorm.
However, none of you took into account the fact that Rook was just not in the room, and that's why you didn't see him, not that he just didn't want to be seen. An arrow, aimed to shoot right by your face, was quickly caught by Asmodeus, shocking everyone, and infuriating him. You simply sighed.
"Rook, you shouldn't shoot arrows on school grounds. It's dangerous." You scolded lightly, knowing the jig was up. He stepped out of the woods bordering Pomefiore, a smile plastered on his face, as it usually was.
"Trickster!"
"Rook." You smiled.
"And your incredibly athletic friend." Rook acknowledged Asmodeus, which he smiled in satisfaction, finally being noticed. You were also very impressed with Asmodeus's display of strength and speed.
You often forget, as you and him mostly gossip and do skincare, makeup, and hair, that Asmodeus is powerful in his own right. Not just in his ability to charm. He's one of the Seven Deadly Sins, one of the leaders of hell. He's strong, it's just easy to forget because he doesn't display it in the same way his brothers do.
You made a mental note to give him some of the skincare Mammon had gifted you from doing a modeling shoot for the company, but you don't use.
"Trying to escape your lessons, Epel?" You looked up at the sharp tone of Vil.
"Hi Vil." You greeted.
"That's Vil?" Asmo asked.
"Be nice, please." You gently asked Asmo, knowing he likely wouldn't.
"Inside, all of you. And don't think this won't be reported to your Housewardens." Vil threatened, and you sighed, holding your friend in your arms, as the group trudged around the building, and through the hallways to get back to the room Vil was in.
You stood between Vil and Asmodeus, being a slight barrier, a little bit of a buffer, for the argument you knew was to soon follow. Asmodeus was opinionated, he's strong-willed, and though he loathes to admit it, he can be just as stubborn as his brothers. You knew that if Asmodeus had his mind set on arguing with Vil, about something you already told him that you forgave Vil for, he would be arguing with Vil before he left.
You hoped he'd start the argument soon. Vil can hold his own against people who were critical against him, he's had to for most of his life. But you also didn't want them to argue in public, that wouldn't be good for anyone. Vil, though patient with most, and often firm in his sentiments, could be provoked if they knew how to push him. And Asmodeus would know how to push him.
"Asmo, this is Vil Schoenheit. Vil, this is Asmodeus. He's one of my current roommates, and the one accompanying me today." You introduced. "Asmo," you looked to your friend, who simply smiled, "don't go too far." You sighed, knowing this was inevitable.
Epel shared confused glances with the other first years as Asmodeus's smile and cheerful facade fell, and his eyes turned to glare at Vil, who looked almost taken aback at the sudden hostility. Though you were standing between them, and Asmodeus would be careful with his words since you were there, you still dreaded this interaction.
Vil raised an eyebrow, looking Asmodeus up and down, Asmodeus doing the same to him, but in a way that was searching for imperfections, more than an overall impression. You almost wanted to go find someone who was more qualified to handle this. Crewel, or maybe Trein if pushed. But, Crewel wasn't here, and Trein was busy. You considered, for a few moments, seeing if you could summon Lucifer, or maybe a different brother, but you knew that wouldn't really stop this, just delay it, so you decided against it.
Glancing slightly behind you, movement catching your eye in your peripherals, you did a double take, fully turning around and walking to the window. You looked at Ace.
"I thought you said Crowley was off-campus."
"He is. Went off on a vacation yesterday morning." Ace rolled his eyes.
"Then what is he doing here? And why is he wearing that?!" You asked, utter disgust seeping into your tone, not only at the sight of your previous tormentor, but also at the sight of what he was wearing.
Dire Crowley, though his usual attire was alright, perhaps it could even be called stylish, but it was professional, and it stood out. You could recognize him quite quickly from his clothes, anyone could. This seems to have put everyone, yourself included, under the false impression that he has a good sense of style. Clearly, that's not right.
He was wearing his usual hat and mask, but everything else was straight out of the "don't" section of one of Asmo's, or even Mammon's, fashion magazines. He wore a bright red, cropped, floral, button-up shirt, the kind you'd see dads wear in cartoons or movies, but it showed off his stomach, and rivaled the color of a fire truck. His shorts, which were extremely bright yellow, looked to be swim trunks, with a corn pattern on it. Below that, white mid-calf height socks, and bright neon green flip flops. The flip-flops practically glowed, nevermind the fact that he was wearing socks with them.
Ace and Deuce rushed up, always ready to mock the headmaster, but what they said didn't invite a stream of insults, simply loud cackling from them both as they nearly toppled over at the sight. Ace, wiping tears from his eyes, claimed he couldn't breathe as he devolved into laughs. Deuce couldn't stop clutching his stomach. Normally one to always respect authority, Deuce had a grudge against the headmaster after everything he'd done to you, so he had no more qualms with laughing at him.
Their laughter caused you to have to stifle your own giggles, but that didn't work when Epel soon joined the duo on the floor, wheezing with laughter, and even Rook let out a snicker. Asmodeus, wanting to not only see Crowley, but also his fashion disaster you'd pointed out, walked to the window at the same pace as Vil, and they reached it at the same time, both nearly gagging in disgust. Asmo didn't because he knew if you heard him, you'd tell his brothers, and he'd never live it down. Vil didn't because it was unbecoming. But the urge was there.
Leaning against Asmo as your laughter calmed down, you smiled at him.
"Save the argument for another day?" You asked gently, and he sighed, but hugged you.
"Oh, alright. But only because you asked so nicely." He teased, making you laugh.
"You're SQUISHING ME." You quickly separated from Asmodeus when Grim yelled out.
"Right! Grim, meet Asmodeus." You held the cat out from under his arms so he could be face-to-face with Asmo. "Asmo, this is Grim. And this is also the rest of my First Year friend group." You gestured around the room at the first years. "Jack and Sebek are the most well behaved." You added quietly, and he nodded.
"He looks like a stoplight!" Ace snorted, causing the other two, who had started to calm down, to descend into mad laughter once more, and the other two even started to chuckle a bit themselves.
"I think my brothers will fit right in here. The others will too." Asmo giggled. You smiled fondly at the thought.
Satan:
It was a pleasant surprise when you heard from some passing Diasomnia students, complaining about the favoritism, that Grim was taken in by Diasomnia. You smiled, realizing that your good friend Hornton had been kind enough to take care of your beloved companion. Sneaking through the halls with Satan was actually relatively easy. While some people did double takes upon seeing your familiar face, no one tried to stop you as you wandered through the halls and towards the Hall of Mirrors.
Upon getting there, beaming, you led Satan through the mirror, much to his apprehension, upon having never seen this means of transportation before. Once through, you beamed, looking up at the castle that was the Diasomnia dorm. You took note of the overcast weather, and the thunder rumbling in the distance, but didn't mention the cause to Satan, who looked at the castle with curiosity.
You talked with Satan, beaming about how excited you were to see Grim, and for them to meet. You also began to tell him about Diasomnia, as you walked up the winding road to the gate. You entered the building with little difficulty, no one questioning your presence, as they were enveloped in their own world. You hummed, trying to figure out where your cat would be in this large dormitory.
"Cakes!" You jumped as you heard someone running towards you, yelling. Satan gently touched your shoulder, ready to defend you at a moments notice, but you recognized the voice. "Cakes! Lilia's making cakes!"
"Oh no." You muttered, a cold chill going down your spine at the warning. Stopping once he reached the room, Sebek didn't look at you, simply yelling out the warning once more.
"Lilia's making cakes!" You laughed lightly, though it was nervous and forced. "MC!" Sebek yelled at a much louder volume, in a much happier tone. Never one for affection, he didn't hug you, but he did beam, and start to pull out his phone.
"Where's Grim? I heard he was here." You quickly asked.
"I believe he is with the Young Master, trying to study."
"Trying... to study? Grim?!" You asked, shocked at the claim.
"I know, I was shocked as well. But he's been very diligent in his studies since you went missing." Sebek told you. "I must text the others."
"Text Lilia too." You added. "Satan here, my escort, my roommate, the person with me today, he's super smart, and I'm sure he would love to learn everything there is to learn from Lilia." You explained.
"While that is true, don't throw me under the bus." Satan asked, sighing.
"You don't understand, Satan." You blinked, grabbing his sweater. "Lilia is just as bad at cooking as Solomon. If Lilia is in the kitchen, we are all in danger."
"I would love to learn everything from this, Lilia person." He quickly rectified.
"See? Ready and willing to learn!" You turned back to Sebek, who was already frantically typing on his phone. Moments later, a familiar voice rang out.
"So you want to learn, do you?" You flinched as Lilia popped up beside you, looking to Satan. Quickly giving you a tight hug, Lilia then turned his full attention to Satan. "Why?"
"Satan's a genius, and he's read basically every book on magic in all of existence where he's from. Who better to learn from than you?" You quickly intercepted, before the demon could tell the fae, that he's a demon.
"Fair enough." Lilia nodded, before turning. "I assume you want to see Grim, MC, so we'll take you there first, yes?" Sebek nodded, still typing on his phone, likely trying to tell Silver to clear out the kitchen and quick.
The small group that had formed, you, Satan, Lilia, and Sebek, walked through the halls of Diasomnia. Satan, ready to keep this man distracted from going back to the kitchen, had started asking Lilia questions. He remembered you mentioning that Lilia was very old, from a conversation a while back, but you didn't say how old, so he asked about history. Luckily, Lilia is that old, and history happens to be his best subject.
As Lilia told Satan of the past, you asked Sebek about what had happened since you left. Apparently, there's been a petition being passed not only around the student body, but around the staff, and the families of students as well, to get Crowley removed from his position as Headmaster. No one knows who started the petition, and no one knows where it is right now, but apparently, the last Sebek heard, it had over 2,000 signatures.
You reached the room in which Malleus and Grim were relatively quickly, and all of you remained silent, as you witnessed the interaction. Grim, struggling to answer the questions that Malleus asked, but Malleus, patient as ever, helped him find the answer, rather than just giving it to him. Based on the number of books around them, they had likely been at this for hours. You were the first to step forward, wrapping your arms around your cat, and lifting him up, giving him a hug.
He struggled for a second, but once he was able to turn around, and see you, he reciprocated the gesture, nearly crying in relief, but refusing to do so in public. Your sweet reunion was interrupted by the sound of a confetti popper popping. Everyone's attention was drawn to Lilia, who had a bright smile on his face. You laughed at his antics, before turning your attention to Malleus.
"Hello, Hornton." You smiled fondly, carefully hugging him and Grim at the same time. "It's good to see you again."
"Child of Man!"
He seemed to snap out of his shock, rising out of his seat, and pulling you into a tight hug. It took a moment, but Grim wormed his way out, gasping for air as he landed on the table, but, he wasn't free for long.
"So this is Grim." Satan asked, picking him up.
"The one and only." You confirmed, still being hugged by Malleus. "And this, tall, horned fellow, is my really good friend, Hornton, or, as he's formally known, Crown Prince Malleus of Briar Valley, or just Malleus." You explained, patting Malleus' back.
"Oh, yeah, that makes sense." Satan nodded, hugging Grim.
"I should also probably formally introduce everyone." You sighed, gently pushing Malleus off of you. "I'll get you some ice cream later, we can eat it together." You promised, still sticking close to the fae who had missed you dearly. "Satan, this is Sebek Zigvolt, knight of Malleus Draconia, and first year of Night Raven College. Silver is around here somewhere, I'm sure, he's another knight, and Lilia's son. Lilia is Malleus' caretaker, and also a royal guard. Everyone, this is Satan."
"What, no spectacular introduction for me?"
"Do you want one?" You asked, almost laughing at Satan's teasing tone. He hummed, shrugging. "Satan is one of my roommates where I live now, along with his six brothers. Satan and his brothers hold high-ranking positions in the government, and Satan himself is extremely knowledgeable on magic, with an extensive library, both physically and mentally." You smiled.
"Wonderful introduction, dear." Lilia clapped, making you laugh. "But with such an extensive library, it makes me wonder what Mc thinks you can learn from me." Lilia pondered aloud, winking at you.
"Well, Lilia, you're rather knowledgeable on many forms of magic and the history of magic in this world, a world Satan has never been to or read about before. Not to mention, you were there when most of it happened." You squinted, trying not to offend the fae. "To be fair though, Satan is much the same, in that regard." They both squinted at eachother.
"Vampire?" Satan asked, making Lilia snicker.
"Maybe." Lilia disappeared, only to reappear beside Satan, upside down. "Maybe not."
"Lilia is a fae." You quickly told Satan, trying not to cause any misunderstandings. "Satan is, an entity. Which is often considered evil. But he is not." You slowly explained, avoiding the word demon.
Demons get a bad rep, even in Twisted Wonderland, which makes you tread lightly. Not that it isn't deserved in a lot of cases, but you also knew that Satan didn't do those things, at least not here. Lilia has never spoke on the subject, so you don't know his opinions, hence why you are being careful.
"Interesting." Lilia smiled, almost eerily.
"Say, Sebek, didn't you text the other first years?" You asked, trying to divert the conversation, as you walked around the table, and gently took Grim from Satan, wary of a possibly argument.
"Ooh! More guests! I shall have to cook a great feast."
"That's not necessary!" Everyone shouted in unison as Lilia finished his sentence, causing his eyes to widen in slight shock, before everyone else started laughing at the sight.
Beelzebub:
"Grim!" You beamed, seeing the cat.
He looked up from his large plate of food, gulping down his bite before racing over, tripping multiple people in the process, which made you laugh. You opened your arms, kneeling down so he could jump into your arms. And the second he did, you closed your arms around him. Tears, happy tears, escaped your eyes, as you finally felt like your best friend was with you again.
No one approached you either, because they didn't want to interrupt such a lovely moment. That, and the massive red-head standing behind you protectively was scaring them off. However, it seemed like not everyone was affected by Beel's intimidating presence, not that the sunshine could really imagine the danger of the man he didn't know was a demon.
"Mc!" You looked up, laughing lightly as Kalim bounded over, quickly taking your hand and helping you up, squeezing you into a short hug, but quickly separating at Grims yowling at being squashed.
"It's good to see you too, Kalim. Oh, this is my roommate and escort for today, Beelzebub, but I just call him Beel." You explained, wiping your tears. "Beel, this is Kalim, and this..." You held Grim up, presenting him proudly. "Is Grim!"
"Hello." He greeted to both Kalim and Grim. "It's good to meet you both."
"Please! Help yourself, we're having a feast tonight!" Kalim invited.
"I don't know if Jamil will be able to keep up with Beel." You worried quietly, though no one seemed to hear as he ushered both of you to seats at the long table.
Never able to resist Jamil's delicious cooking, you did make yourself a plate, Grim bringing his own plate over to sit beside you. Beel, excited to taste the food that you had praised so much, dug right in with little apprehension. Once you finished your plate, you quickly separated from your friend you'd recently reunited with, to go greet Jamil. Grim followed you of his own volition, carrying his plate with him.
You entered the kitchen and stepped to the side, out of the way, as you watched Jamil work. He really did command the kitchen, it reminded you of Barbatos in a way. His efficiency, his calm demeanor, the way he's not afraid to direct people. The similarities were striking, at least in their efficiency. You made a mental note to introduce them. Jamil could use a friend who could relate to him.
You smiled as he turned, holding a soup pot, getting ready to put it in a serving dish when he saw you. His eyes widened, his jaw dropping, and the soup pot nearly going with it, but he regained his composure quickly, setting the soup pot aside. He rushed over, checking you over, making you laugh.
"Nice to see you too, Jamil."
"You can never disappear like that again. Kalim nearly lost his mind."
"I appreciate it." You nodded. "That being said, I came here to warn you, actually. The guest I'm here with, Kalim invited them to the feast,"
"Very Kalim-like. Why warn me?"
"Because he's essentially a bottomless pit, and I didn't want you to be surprised by the amount he can eat." You explained, slightly awkwardly.
"How much?"
"Can he eat? I'm not sure, to be honest. He's always eating. But he's also an athlete. I'd be surprised if you could feed him until he's full, I don't know that anyone's ever managed that."
"Let me put this into a serving dish, and then I'll come meet him."
"Alright. In the meantime, I'm gonna go ask Kalim to borrow his phone, I need to text the other first years before they realize I'm here and think I betrayed them by not immediately informing them." You told him, to which he waved you off, and watched you leave the kitchen.
You did exactly as you said you would, asking Kalim for his phone, which he happily gave and unlocked without a second thought, even without an explanation. You simply shook your head at his slight naivety, looking at Beel, who was eating at a reasonable pace, but an ungodly amount of food sat on his plate. You quickly sent a text to Ace, Deuce, and the others as well, telling them that it was you, you just had Kalim's phone, and you were in Scarabia.
The immediate response was to tell you that they were on their way. Which you said, meet you at Octavinelle instead, you have a bit of a plot. You gave them about fifteen minutes before they got there, if that long. You handed Kalim his phone back, watching as Jamil came out with the serving treys. You were always impressed with the amount he could cook.
Once he had set all the components down, he turned, looking for you, and walking over once he spotted you. You smiled at Beel who had looked up at you as this new person approached, glancing between the two of you, as if to see if he was going to do something.
"Beel, this is Jamil, the person who cooked all this food, and a good friend of mine. Jamil, this is Beelzebub," he raised an eyebrow at the name, seemingly the only person to notice, "and I call him Beel. He's one of my new roommates." He nodded.
"I've heard you eat a lot, Beel." He said cautiously. "How much?"
"I dunno." He shrugged. "Never feel full, so I'm always eating."
"Well don't fill up here. Jamil's food is top notch, no doubt about it, but, I have another place who's ingredient capacity I want you to test. And, I pulled a Mammon, so we don't have to worry about the price." You smiled at him, holding your cat to your chest still, as he contentedly purred.
"You talkin' 'bout Azul's place?" Grim asked sleepily.
"Yep." You beamed maliciously.
"What do you mean, you pulled a Mammon?" Jamil asked.
"I guess technically it's not a Mammon because I have permission to use his card, and Mammon often does not." You said thoughtfully. "But I have Lucifer's card, and Mammon and Levi managed to rig it so it'll work interdimensionally. Neato, huh?"
Yes, Mammon, the man who knows how money works better than anyone, and Leviathan, the most electronically adept demon you've ever met working together. It was a nightmare. But they get results, and the results are in your favor. Granted, you didn't ask them to do this, Lucifer did, but it was still to your benefit.
You didn't want to take Lucifer's card at first, knowing how tempted you would be to try to buy Night Raven College from Crowley, knowing everything has a price with that damned crow. However, the eldest demon brother insisted, telling you that he wanted you to have access to money while there, if only to prove that you didn't need to rely on Crowley anymore.
And, not to put this lightly, Lucifer is rich. Lucifer makes a lot of money doing what he does. He doesn't spend it all at once, and when he does, there's not much he wants. He's got a shit ton of money in his bank account. He insinuated that you could go wild with buying whatever you want, if you really wanted to, to prove your new status as a member of a high-ranking family like you are with them.
That being said, you did warn him that you intended to buy the entirety of Azul's menu, not only to eat as much of it as you could, but also because you wanted to embarrass him by letting Beel eat everything he has. And he seemed ok with this. As long as you were happy.
"His restaurant is decently expensive, do you really want to see just how much he can eat of Azul's food?" Jamil asked.
"I've got a jailbroken debit card that has essentially no limit. If I didn't have Beel here to convince me to only buy food, I'd be buying the school." You warned.
"I could do that." Kalim offered smiling. You gently patted his shoulder.
"Please do not." You asked gently. He frowned, but nodded. "You get a good taste of everything?" You asked Beel.
"It's really good." He complimented Jamil, as he nodded. "I like your blend of spices, and the different spice levels in each. The seasonings are really good, and the flavors are delicious. Everything is cooked really well, as well." Jamil was slightly taken aback by his review of the food, but nodded, and thanked him for his kind words.
"Time to go eat Azul out of house and home." You smiled at Beel. "It was lovely to see you both." You hugged Kalim and then Jamil, separately. "I will be stopping by once more, but," you glanced at the dent Beel had made in the food on the table, "likely with someone who has less of an appetite."
"You're welcome here anytime." Kalim assured. "Bring anyone you like, and please, do come back. It's good to see you." He beamed at you.
"Thanks Kalim, I will. I'll probably be bringing a few of my other friends. And this time," you looked to Jamil, "I promise to come after warning you." He nodded, thankful for your assurance. "Come on Beel, we gotta meet my friends and we have to get you to the Mostro Lounge in order to eat everything you can." You smiled as he rose from his seat, nodding.
"It was nice meeting you both." He nodded to Jamil and Kalim. Kalim, ever the sunshine, waved enthusiastically as you both left, whereas Jamil just watched you leave.
"You know, Grim. From here on out, you won't need to worry about other people feeding you. The House of Lamentation is almost always stocked with food. No more worrying about your next meal." You promised the cat, who was now resting across your shoulders. He laughed happily at the statement as you left Scarabia.
You quickly made your way from Scarabia, to Octavinelle, quickly met with your friend group, who physically tackled you to the ground, happy to be able to see you again. You introduced them to Beel, who intimidated most of them, but actually got into a nice conversation with Epel and Jack about sports, which Deuce quickly joined after catching up with you, as you walked into Octavinelle, before you were once again tackled, but this time by Floyd.
Floyd, who greeted you enthusiastically. You greeted him back, before quickly filling him in on your plan. Ever the chaotic entity, he merely smiled, in a scary ominous way, before bringing all of you to a table in the back, and went to fill Jade, who is in the kitchen of your plan.
You could practically see the terrified look on Azul's face now, which made you smile. Yeah, this is going to be good.
Belphegor:
"Leona!" You yelled as you entered Savanaclaw on a warpath.
You briefly stopped to politely greet Ruggie, who watched in shock as you, and your escort, marched to Leona's room. Your eye twitched as you watched Grim struggle against Leona's sleeping form. Having been in that position before, and knowing how strong his grip could get, you looked at Belphie.
"Can you go get him from whatever dreamscape he's in?"
"I can try."
"Can you wake him?"
"I most certainly can." He agreed, smiling at your insistence that this man must me woken, despite his usual insistence to just let people be when they sleep. He was more amused than anything, which is why he was going along with it.
You gestured for him to go ahead, and he transformed into his demon form with ease, walking over towards Leona. Grim, looking up at him, stopped moving in fear of the man. Belphegor, to his credit, didn't really pay any attention to your cat, more focused on the man holding the one thing you were more certain than anything that you wanted. He easily lifted his tail, and with quite a lot of force, smacked Leona's face with it. You winced in sympathy, but it woke up him up nonetheless.
The second he woke up, Belphegor transformed back to his normal form, before Leona could see him, and Leona easily released Grim, who jumped into your arms. Mission accomplished, Belphegor walked back over to you, draping himself over your shoulders. Once prompted, he gently pat Grim's head, Leona looking on incredulously.
"Um? Herbivore, what the fuck? How are you here? Why are you here? What did you do to me?"
"I don't know. Magic. To get Grim and wreak havoc. And I did nothing, ask Belphegor, he's great at causing damage to the human, or, in this case, beastman, body." You smile. "I mean, I should know better than anyone."
"Oi. You forgave me for that."
"I did." You nodded, acknowledging the statement. "Anyway, Belphie, this is Leona, prince of the Sunset Savanna. Leona, this is Belphegor, one of my new roommates."
"Is he like Diavolo?"
"Not in position or in personality, but he's still a prince." You denied. "Leona, if you come with me as I let Belphegor cause chaos at the dorm leader meeting, I will introduce you to a man who can actually pose a threat to you in chess."
"There's no one like that."
"Oh please. Don't make me drag you out of bed." You threatened, petting Grim as he tried to stifle his sobs in your shirt. You knew he wouldn't want to address it, so you didn't.
"Nah, I'd rather take a nap."
"Dude, if you just keep sleeping because you're depressed, you'll never really feel rested." Belphie warned.
"Take it from him, he's an expert." Belphie glared at you. "On sleep. Weirdo." He scoffed, but let it be. "Come on, Leona. You like to watch people's downfalls, why not watch Crowley's?" He raised an eyebrow, seemingly thinking about it. "I'll let you eat some of the meat where I live now, which I know you've never tried before." You tried to bribe. He pondered. "What do you want, Leona?"
"To sleep." You sighed at his answer, used to his stubbornness.
"Fine then, you lazy lion. I'll just leave you here."
"Why are you getting on my case about this when he's dozing off on your shoulder?"
"He has a better excuse than you." You shrugged, not explaining any further. "Regardless, I'll send Satan your way when and if he comes here. You guys will get along."
"Don't bother."
"I don't really think you quite understand." You sighed, shrugging Belphie off and handing Grim to him. "This is Belphegor, he lives with us now, you're coming back with me. I need a moment." Grim nodded, turning to glare at Belphegor. You walked over to Leona. "Leona." You said in a stern tone, grabbing his wrist and making him look you in the eyes. "You have said before that you're in your older brother's shadow, and you want to get out of it. Hell, you want to get out of it so bad you came to NRC, rather than his school of RSA. You're insanely smart, and while you don't do your work now, you could easily graduate if you wanted to, but you don't because you like your position here. Satan was literally created out of his brothers rage, and wants nothing more than to escape who he was created to be, because he believes that if he's anything like what people think he'd be, he will never escape his brothers shadow. He is also, insanely smart. I've witnessed him beat the crown prince of the kingdom we live in in chess. He hates his older brother, and probably more than you hate yours." You explained. "You two would probably get along great, better than you and your brother, and him and his older brother at least."
"I doubt it."
"You'll see, Leona. I promise." You sighed, letting him go. "I can make no guarantees, but I bet you two will get along. What do you think Belphie? You've known your brother longer than I have."
"He's got cat ears."
"I'm a lion beastman! And a prince of the Sunset Savanna!" Leona growled, glaring at Belphie.
"It's true, he's not a cat." You agreed. "And he shouldn't be treated as such, because he's a person. I'll have to make sure Satan doesn't ask any uncomfortable questions about beastmen and beastman culture." You thought aloud before deciding to quickly explain to Leona. "While it's not uncommon in certain forms for people in the kingdom Belphie, his brothers, and I live in, to have similarities to beastmen, but the culture of beastmen, and beastmen in general, are kind of nonexistent. There are rules of etiquette similar, like don't pull the tails, don't touch the wings, or horns, or anything. They're usually very polite about it, actually." You hummed thoughtfully. "That's besides the point. Satan, while scarily perceptive and usually good about not crossing any uncomfortable boundaries, is more than willing to cross those boundaries in the name of getting answers when he's curious about something."
"It's true." Belphie agreed.
"He won't try to pet me, right?!" Grim yelled, looking at you.
"Mayhaps? I told him that you're a cat, which,"
"I'm not!" He vehemently denied.
"I'm aware!" You denied, walking back over to him and taking him from Belphie, allowing him to climb up to your shoulders. Once up there, you gave him head rubs as he started purring. "But the closest describing word to what you are is catlike, or feline, or whatever. If you tell him not to, he'll probably be tempted to still, but he knows better than to touch things without permission, I just went over that with Leona." You explained. "So!" You turned to Belphie. "Ready to cause chaos at the Dorm Leader meeting?"
"Isn't he supposed to be there?"
"Technically, yes, but he's been a dorm leader longer than the rest, so he knows what they're talking about, probably better than Crowley does. Let's leave him be." You sighed, walking out of Leona's room, only to be almost tackled, immediately, by Jack, who was ecstatic to see you.

Dick grayson x gn!y/n x platonic!Damian
this is my first time writing a gn reader so like I'm sorry if I write something stupid or offensive, just comment it and ill fix it.
if you are dating dick then damian will stalk you extensively at first. Dick is his favorite sibling ( in most comics) and if dick is serious about you, stalking is just how the batfam shows love.
He will be rude , he will be mean and sarcastic but dick warned you and you understand where dami's coming from. So you kindly and patiently deal with him and dick obviously doesn't let Dami cross the line when it comes to you.
One night dick had to rush out for a really scary mission and told you to stay at the manor because its the safest place to be.
Damian was the only other person that was left behind since the mission required everyone else on the team and bruce did not think damian was ready for such a high risk mission just yet.
so damian was really frustrated and also worried for the rest of the family. you walk past Dami's room to see him staring off in the distance while fidgeting or biting his nails. You ask alfred for a chess set ( or any other board/card game) and bring it to dami's room. While playing , he opens up about his frustrations and you patiently listen . Not a lot of people in his family are as warm and caring as you are ( maybe dick but even he is really busy)
After that night the roles are reversed. Now damian thinks dick is undeserving of you and his snarky comments are directed to him. You just find it funny while dick is left confused. "I thought he liked me more man, why the sudden switch?" " he got enlightened dickie boy muhahah" " you are mind controlling him arent you"
One-on-one time in the manor- haha dick wishes. So he tries only calling you when dami is at school or training or patrol. ofc you and dami catch on soon which means you and dami chasing him with katanas.
talking about katanas, dami loves showing you his art and his pets and if you share an interest in either of them he gets even more excited.
you and dick become dami's honorary parents. might as well adopt him since bruce and talia are obviously not doing a very good job ( in most comics) .
whenever dami is mad at bruce or simply upset or bored he comes to you and dick's apartment. You and dick are the fun warm loving couple that spend the night playing board games and watching stupid movies . you introduce him to all the major pop culture shows and movies and dick teaches him how to just dance randomly. your apartment is so different from the gloomy , filled with blood stains, fights and training manor. its filled with music and love and warm lights cooking together in funny pjs and dancing badly to pop songs.
it is watching you and dick that dami realizes what love is supposed to look like. and what a normal household looks like( sort of normal) and it affects the way he grows up. I wont be surprised if he comes to you for parents teacher meeting days or to sign his field trips or for advice on normal things
and the canon where dami is being bullied in school, while you go full on protective mode ,dick tries teaching him how to be better in social situations.
overall dami is just counting down days dick marries you and you'all unofficially adopt him.

Okay, zo hello!! Could you maybe make a fic about [READER] being 1x1x1x1s zibling? Kinda like how he'z made out of hate, maybe they could be made out of pure love?
Zhedletsky iz like [READER]z father, and they like have a good (PLATONIC) relationzhip, teaching them how to ztun the killer, etc. But they can make things out of love (?), like maybe a sword or something, being a zurvivor n ztuff
Maybe 1x4 can meet them in the round az they ztun him, and might be confuzed on who they are
And when they're zad/having a intenze emotion maybe they can act out of line, kinda like pure love turning into pozzezzive or unhealthy love! :3
I'm not good at asking for a requezt, zo tell me if itz good or zomething, idk :D
(I've had thiz ztupid thought in my head, rotating around like a pizza in a microwave..)
This is an interesting request! I gotta admit I had a little trouble understanding at times but that's just my stupid brain taking things at face value the first time I read things /ᐠ。‸。ᐟ\ The z's in places of s' are kinda cute tho ngl-
The reader's pronouns shall be they/them!
Tumblr media
You've never even thought about the possibility of having a sibling, much less your father having ever been able to hate.
You were a manifestation of Shedletsky's love, just like 1x was a manifestation of his hatred. But instead of a black and green body, yours was a mix of red and white.
He taught you to be a survivor, to not become like your unknown sibling.
Tumblr media
You could even use your love to make a sword, wanting to make your father proud when you stunned killers. It was bliss in this nightmare of a realm and even the other survivors appreciated your help.
You even developed wings after a short time, much to everyone's surprise. Even Shedletsky hadn't seen that coming but he was proud nonetheless, even helping you figure out how to fly and float.
But since then you occasionally get the nickname 'Cupid' for your silly little wings.
But then the dreaded round came. The round that Shedletsky feared for your sake.
A round with both you and 1x1... Siblings meeting for the first time without realizing it.
Shed had hoped the round could go over quickly, that he wouldn't be confronted by the manifestation of his hatred and the manifestation of his love at the same time.
But he clearly underestimated your loyalty.
As 1x1 was about to strike him, you dropped from above and stunned her using your sword, barely touching the ground before hurrying to accompany your father towards safety.
The killer was severely confused on your existence but just as much as he was mad over being stopped.
And if you were honest, something about her felt familiar... You just decided to shrug it off for now and leave the questions for later.
But then you and Shedletsky ended up as the last two alive, leading to you acting maybe a little out of line as you began muttering to yourself.
"No one touches my papa..." You muttered under your breath as you kept an eye out while guarding Shed. He luckily didn't hear a word because you were clearly not acting like usual.
Why were you suddenly having the urge to take Shed somewhere where no one would find him? That wasn't what you'd want for your father... Right..?
You only got more aggressive when you saw your green and black counterpart approaching. You were practically already hissing as she stared you down, approaching eerily slow and not showing any sign of hostility in contrast to your own. It looked more like tolerance than indifference though.
Shedletsky tried to tell you to run but you wouldn't budge no matter how much he'd plead. Eventually, 1x1 was towering slightly over you and you found yourself unable to move aside from continuing to stare her down.
He was clearly curious and although Shed wanted to just make a run for it, he couldn't just leave you here and knew you would deserve answers.
"I see you've made another..." His voice was directed at your father, causing you to halt your stance entirely to give her a questioning look.
This only annoyed 1x1 further. "Let me guess, they were never made aware of my existence, were they?" He almost sounded like he was scoffing but you couldn't even look at Shed. You didn't want to see the possibility of him confirming that this was what you feared.
She eventually picked you up by your wings, causing you to flail around but accidentally dropping your sword.
"I suppose their size fits. Either they were made recently or you truly had nothing much to feed a being that is the opposite of hatred, right?"
"No one speaks about papa that way!" You finally spoke up, enraged over how 1x1 could talk about Shedletsky.
1x1 seemed a little unsettled by that. "I'm not even surprised it's so possessive of you... Probably self-love." She muttered, promptly killing you to have a private chat with your creator.
The other survivors were honestly a little startled to see your current state. You've never been seen with so much rage in your eyes and it felt a little intimidating even to them...
Let's hope Shed can come back soon and straighten things out...
I'm getting so many asks lately but I don't mind it at all, it just makes things better with me being able to write more! (And all at once too kek-)
Anything you'd like to request/ask? Check out my pinned post first and I'll be happy to write up whatever you want!

Tumblr media
Platonic Headcanons
He doesn’t understand why the others avoid you… but he's grateful.
You’re always safe when he's around. Always.
He sits near you in every meeting, every rest break. You’re his spot.
You never step on a tripmine. No glitter, no pranks. He’s careful. So, so careful.
He starts mimicking your mannerisms without realizing it. A soft echo of you in how he signs or tilts his head.
First Meeting Headcanons
He noticed you before you even noticed him.
You were the only one who didn't call him a "menace."
He didn’t sign to you at first just observed you, close enough to be noticed, but quiet. Always watching.
When you did speak to him, his wings fluttered. That was new. That was yours.
He planted a tripmine behind you. Not to scare you but so no one else would dare come too close.
Getting Along Headcanons
He starts leaving brownies at your door. Always warm. Always homemade.
His nest? There’s a second pillow now. A space. It’s subtle. You might not notice… but it’s yours.
You smile at him once, and he almost explodes. His feathers puffed up for three hours.
He signs for you more. Even teaches you simple gestures, gently guiding your hands. It’s not communication it’s a ritual. It’s intimacy.
He hates when others talk to you. If someone flirts, that person’s next few rounds are full of very inconvenient explosions.
Realizing He Has Feelings
He caught himself watching you sleep. Not from across the room. Perched above.
Your laughter makes his wings flutter. It makes his heart pound. It makes his talons dig into the floor.
He panicked when you got hurt in a round flying to you without thinking, shielding you with his body.
When he saw you pat someone else's shoulder, he set a glitter mine under their bed. That night.
It’s not just affection. It’s need. It’s possession. It’s knowing no one else is worthy of you.
How He Confesses
He makes a nest. It’s soft, lined with fabrics he took from the safehouse. There’s a pillow that smells like you.
You find it. He’s sitting there. Waiting. Wings fluttering like mad.
He pulls you close, holding your hand, and signs slowly: "This is for you. For us." "Please stay."
He doesn't force you. But his gaze wide, unblinking, desperate is terrifying in how intense it is.
His wings wrap around you like a cage. Not rough. Protective. Enclosing. Yours.
Romantic Headcanons
He follows you like a shadow, even when you think you’re alone.
He kisses your hand when you're asleep.
He gifts you feathers his own tied with string. Little talismans. Love notes in silence.
if he loses some of his feathers , he would try to put some in your hair , as a silent claim
If you ever tried to leave him, he'd break. Not violently. Just... collapse.
But if someone else tried to take you? They’d never be seen again.
You’re his. Not just now. Forever.
Calls you bird names "my little crow" , "my dove"
Tumblr media

[I look after you.] [POTA headcanons!]
Tumblr media
Summary: Random acts of service I think each ape would do for you!
Characters: Caesar, Noa, Koba, Maurice Rocket, Blue eyes, Lake, Cornelius, and Dar.
Warnings: Caesar and Noa's are meant to be romantic. Dar and Cornelius are platonic as well. The others could be read as platonic or romantic, though!
A/N: These are all just random thoughts I've had today. Some will be shorter than others due to just how many characters I tried to include, so bare with me!
Tumblr media
Caesar has a sixth sense as to when you're gonna get hurt, it's uncanny.
Humans are clumsy and more fragile than others, he knows as such because of his grandfather and Will, seeing them trip and fall over nothing, stub their toe and curse, it's almost as if they didn't have spatial awareness at times.
His reflexes are faster than his words.
So he knows when you're about to slam your forehead full force into a wooden beam, immediately throwing a hand up to soften the blow.
You instinctually let out an "Ow!" Before realizing you're okay, your mates warm hand against your skin. The Chimp raises an eye bridge up at you, looking towards you and then his hand.
"Oh."
Tumblr media
Koba doesn't do anything nice for you without the expectation that you will do something for him in return.
One thing he will do is protect you against yourself, mainly out of pure pity.
Your center of gravity is different than his, and the woods are not meant for you, so get used to Koba yanking you back from a steep drop.
He isn't gentle about it, fist curled into your jacket and roughly dragging you backward, letting out a shrill against his knowledge.
You knock against his chest, his body immediately giving off its warmth to your own.
You're too scared to look up at Koba, knowing damn well he's gonna be glaring down at you, a comment ready to go.
Unfortunately for you, he does it regardless if you meet his gaze or not.
"Should have. Let you fall." He growls, hoping you can't somehow feet his heartbeat pumping out of his chest.
Tumblr media
Noa enjoys caring for you, making your life easier by any means necessary, whether it be by learning how to make you tools that help you fish easier, cooking your meat for you, knowing that your anatomy is different, to teaching you to the best of his ability how to hunt more efficiently.
It's his love language, not that he'd be aware of it. It makes him feel like a good mate, and that boosts his ego.
He gets so mad if you try and wave him off, scoffing at the thought of you not needing him.
What do you mean you're fine on your own? Nuh uh.
Has pouted before and got huffy if you get off of your horse without him helping you down, turning his back to you childishly as he sighs as long as possible.
I hate him.
Tumblr media
Maurice lets you cuddle into him for warmth. His fur is longer than the others, and he runs warm. He worries for you when the winters get rough. There's only so much they can do other than set a fire up and wrap you with animal hides.
Sometimes, it's not enough, and shivering yourself to sleep isn't fun.
Maurice considers you family, being the first first ape to truly take you in, he'd never turn you away from when you need him most.
Never needing permission, you quietly make your way to the Orangutan's nest, trying your best not to step on any leaves or branches.
Gingerly taking your time to settle next to Maurice, lowering your body down.
Taking a glance at Nova resting on his other side, you don't catch his eyes peering open, a hand coming up to sign slowly.
'Come.'
Lifting a long arm, he allows you to curl into his side, finally granting you a good night's rest.
Tumblr media
Blue eyes always makes sure you're apart of the conversation, if he and Ash are goofing around, and you're standing off to the side, he's gonna immediately poke small fun at you to get your attention.
The second he has it, he's gesturing you over to their little circle at the camp fire, asking you what humans think of whatever subject they're talking about.
Baby Blue will shove his shoulder into Ash if he tries to make fun of you, knowing well that you may not take it as friendly banter just yet.
Tumblr media
If you're gonna be with the colony, you'll need a protector, and who else is a better, more loyal one than Rocket.
No ape is being disrespectful towards you on his watch, you're important to Caesar and while that was in fact originally the reason he made it a point to keep an eye on you, he's come to love you himself.
An Ape comes up to you, asking something wildly inappropriate?
Rocket gets up in their face, making direct eye contact and puffing out his chest for them to back the fuck off, daring them to make a move, all while making sure you're well hidden behind himself.
Tumblr media
Lake enjoys braiding your hair for you, the different texture offering a welcome challenge compared to her own.
She's so gentle and light handed, her fingers weaving the strands to the best of her ability, fingers much too large.
It's a bonding experience between the two of you, her downtime, after working with the little ones for hours previously.
Tumblr media
The littlest ape prince is no stranger to clinging on to you at any point in time. Even as he grows older and gets to be too heavy to sit on your lap or climb up your back, he does it anyway. Wrapping his arms around your neck and hiding his face against your skin.
He does it when looking for comfort, but also for when he's being a little shit and his dad is searching for him to chastise.
Cornelius knows that when you're near, you're gonna spoil and baby him, and that's exactly what he wants, hiding behind you.
He is observant like his father, always in tune with your emotions and knows when you need to have company so you don't stew in your own head.
Drags you off to play with the other apes, not taking no for an answer even if you try to. He pulls those puppy dog eyes and it's damn near impossible to deny him.
Tumblr media
Taking on a motherly role for you comes with ease, Dar slipping into it once Noa vouches for you.
She makes sure to take you under her wing, teaching you their ways of life in the a view point of an elder, not just Noas.
Please don't imagine that she'd make you your own shawl, matching her own, literally don't bc I teared up.
She'd be ecstatic to see you wear it around the colony, staring at you. She's so proud of you from how far you've come.
Dar will blatantly introduce you to others as her child, no matter what another ape says. Which wouldn't be much to begin with, became who is gonna argue with her? She won't hear a word of it, waving them off.

Hey :) How are you doing?
Okay so, i wanted to request a platonic father Aizawa in which he is out patroling and he finds his teen daughter doing something ilegal with her friends or something like that.
Please and thankss :)
A/N; I’m okay thanks for asking! Love this idea, I’ve gotten many requests somewhat related to this lately actually! I’ll be posting those throughout the week. Also sorry it’s taken me a while to get to this! 🥲 I truly believe Aizawa is a girl dad and a softie parent.
Pairing; Platonic!Father Aizawa x Fem!Daughter Reader
Contains; a little ooc Aizawa, fluff, soft, drug mentions, reader is about 16-17 like mha characters, quirk-less reader, death mentions, bad friends, comfort
wc; 1,763
Tumblr media
You weren’t supposed to get caught. In fact, you didn’t even think you would. It wasn’t a big deal anyways, you only did it because you thought it’d be a way to relax with your friends. Plus, if you guys did get caught your backup plan was your father. It wasn’t like he was going to detain you…right?
Wrong.
You were very wrong to believe that your father wouldn’t take you into custody over a little weed with your friends. You just wanted to have fun! Besides, you didn’t want to be the ‘perfect heroes daughter’ who’s a buzzkill. Why couldn’t he understand that?
There was just so much pressure that came with being the child to a hero. Your friends already joked about how you were too ‘good’ to do anything remotely illegal. Which is part of the reason you were in this situation in the first place.
Of course he just happened to be patrolling around the alley you and your friends decided to get a little high in. That was just your luck, he didn’t seem mad though. So you thought he’d just tell you guys not to do it anymore, and move on. Nope. Leave it to Aizawa to want to teach you a ‘lesson’ all of a sudden. He was normally just a “don’t do it again,” kind of parent. Mostly because you had never done anything of this caliber before.
“Did you really have to bring me in?”
Silence.
“I mean come on, none of the other heroes care. They’re too busy thinking about protecting the city, shouldn’t you be too? Nobody cares about a couple of kids getting a little buzzed, besides everyone does it nowadays-“
“That doesn’t make it okay y/n.”
You’ve rarely seen him like this, so tense. He didn’t look angry, but you couldn’t shake the feeling you got that he was. It was almost….scary.
So you resigned to a simple, “Okay, I’m sorry.” Were you really sorry though? Not that much, you still didn’t see the big deal.
He let out a low grunt, “This is serious y/n, I know you think I’m making a big deal out of nothing,” well he said it first, “but you could’ve been seriously hurt.”
“Hurt? From getting a little high?”
“Criminals lace that stuff all the time, whether it’s with poison, more drugs, or whatever else they decide-“
“Yeah sure, but we got it from a trusted source-“
“And who’s that?” He said crossing his arms.
Oops.
You decided it’d be best not to respond right now. Especially since the source wasn’t technically trusted, just another kid who got it from someone else. Who probably got it from someone else too.
Sensing your apprehension he decide to drop it, “we’ll revisit that later,” he said waving a dismissive hand. “I’ll drop you off at home, you’re grounded.”
You internally groaned at that, grounded? That’s a new one, you were starting to really regret your decision. You should have just told your friends no, even if it meant being the ‘buzzkill.’ Then you remembered, your friends-
“What about my friends?”
“We’re working on calling their parents to come pick them up soon.”
“No!-“ you said sharply, “I-I mean, can’t you just let them off? Or something?”
“You know that’s not how this works, they are already getting off with a minor offense. The worst they’re going to get is their parents’ scolding.”
“Dad! You don’t understand-“
“I understand perfectly fine, a bunch of young kids wanted to ‘have fun’ and thought this was the best way to do it.”
Okay maybe he did understand, but not your side. He didn’t get that now you’d officially be the outcast, the top 10 ranked hero’s daughter who gets everyone in trouble. Does he get how embarrassing that is?
“Come on, let’s get going.”
You stood from the chair leaving the comfort of being shielded, by the small desk separator, from your friends’ piercing gazes. They thought your dad would let you all off too considering the chaos the city’s currently in.
You nervously waved and mouthed a quick ‘sorry’ to them before rushing out the door trying to follow closely behind Aizawa.
You guys didn’t speak the whole way home, you opted for silence mostly because it wasn’t that big of a deal and he just didn’t know what to say. You had never done anything like that before, or had he just never caught you? When did that start?
He remembered when you were little and you’d give your vegetables to stray animals so you didn’t have to eat them, or when you tried to sneak out at night and he caught you. But those were all pretty minor things, and he was only always concerned with your safety.
You’d never done anything this bad, and in terms of the worst thing you could do of course this wasn’t horrible but he still didn’t get why. It couldn’t have just been for fun.
He entered the house after unlocking the door and opening it for you. Before you could make it to your room, where you’d probably go to sulk, he decided he’d ask.
“Why did you want to do that y/n?”
You stopped and turned around to face him. He was standing in front of the door, and now that you actually took in his appearance he looked tired. His dark circles more prominent, eyes a light pink most likely from his quirk, and his black pants had small patches of dust that had been hastily patted off on them.
You replied after a moment, briefly forgetting his question, “For fu-“
“And don’t just say for fun, because I know you and there are plenty of other things you would do for fun.”
You huffed resigning to just come out with it, “it was a bet.”
“A bet?”
“My friends bet me that I wouldn’t get high with them since I’m a hero’s daughter.”
“And you decided to take them up on that?”
“Yes, I know it was stupid okay?”
“I know you know, you’re smarter than that. So why’d you say yes?”
Why’d he have to be so persistent? “Maybe because I thought I’d finally get some friends.”
“What do you mean y/n? You do have friends.”
“No, I don’t. Momo, Tsu, and Uraraka only hang out with me out of pity, since you’re their teacher, if they even have time-“
“Pity? Y/n no they don’t, there’s nothing pitiful about you at all-“
You scoffed, “don’t lie. I get you’re my dad and all but be honest with yourself, truly honest.”
“I am being honest. I’d never lie-“
Guess you’d just have to spell it out for him then. “The only daughter you had killed your wife, was born quirk-less, and there’s nothing special about her!” You were shocked at the admission of your own feelings but kept going, “I don’t have a talent, I’m not exceptionally smart, I’m not breathtakingly pretty, and I can’t even make friends!” You listed raising a finger for each reason, “Now tell me what about that is not pitiful?”
After that question there was silence, and Aizawa was just looking at you. You hadn’t even noticed you were crying until the first tear slid down your nose crease and hit the corner of your lip. Before touching could even wipe your tear or register the sound of footsteps approaching you, you were being hugged. Fully covered by his arms, your head grazing the bottom of his chin where stubble had began to grow, face buried partially into his scarf.
You heard high pitched wailing, which you hadn’t even registered was you until his hand began to rub up and down your back with quiet ‘shh’s to try calming you.
“Don’t cry, it’s okay. It’s not your fault, none of it okay?” He began whispering in your ear.
“Your mom and I both knew the challenges she’d have if she gave birth to you. We were well aware, and she wanted to have you. She didn’t care if she’d die in the process, you are our child.”
He continued comforting you, and when you eventually calmed down he let go and gently pulled your face out of his chest so you could look him in his tired, red eyes. “I love you so much, and I’m sorry if I don’t tell you that enough okay? It’s my fault I’m sorry. You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and you’re perfect. I mean that, I’d never lie. You don’t need a quirk, to be super smart, or have a special talent. You’re perfect to me, okay? And that’s all that matters. You’re important to me,” he said firmly.
“Okay?”
You sniffled, reaching a hand to wipe your nose, “okay.”
“Hey,” he said turning your face back to his, “I really mean it, I’d be no where without you. And how could you say you’re not beautiful? I know I’m not the best looking hero, but haven’t you seen the pictures of your mom? You take after her, gorgeous. Nothing I’d ever change about you, I don’t regret anything.”
“Okay,” you said slightly unused to him saying these things, “I’ve never heard you say something so corny dad,” you said chuckling trying to lighten the mood.
At that, he gave a small grin which faded when he remembered your earlier point, “And Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Yaoyorozu do like being your friend. Not just because I’m their teacher, trust me I’m more of a supervisor if anything. I let them figure most stuff out on their own. They wanted to meet and hang out with you. I don’t think you give yourself enough credit, you make friends just fine.”
“I know, I know, it was just heat of the moment stuff dad.”
He let out a sigh of relief, hugged you once more, and pressed a kiss to the top of your forehead.
“I still have about another hour of night patrol, but I’ll stay here if you want me to?”
“No dad, it’s fine go.”
He looked at you once more as if saying, ‘are you sure?’
“Yes I’m sure I’m fine, it’s only an hour anyways.”
“Okay, call me if you need anything, I’ll be back soon,” he said headed towards the door.
“Okay,” you said starting to walk to your room.
But just before he shut the door you dashed for it and started, “Hey! does this mean-“
“No you’re still grounded,” he said.
And with that the door shut.

THE BETRAYAL
Sihtric Kjartansson x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
!!!DISCLAIMER!!!: English is not my native language and since i didn't watch the show in the original language and i have no idea about the difference between English/Irish accents like Finan's, i'll write using the classic english they teach in school lol. But you are free to correct me on it if you wish to. And i haven't read the books so i'll write my stories based on the show.
WARNINGS: this is a bit long i'm sorry. Based on s3ep6-7, angst + comfort fluff, established relationship, FEM!R but no use of Y/n, little platonic moments with Finan and Osferth because we love them<3.
Tumblr media
Something wasn't right, you could sense it. You still didn't know what it was, but you had that bad feeling of anguish that was slowly sprouting in your heart.
Thanks to Edward and Alfred you had won the battle against Haesten, but there was no party atmosphere at Aethelfled's estate.
Everyone could feel the tension going around in your group and the cause was only one: Skade. Or at least, that's what Sihtric claimed. You all hated that witch, but the only one who still hadn't gotten rid of her was Uhtred. Because of that woman's curse you were all suffering: when Uhtred had fallen ill he had risked dying and even poor Osferth, despite having fought bravely, had been wounded in battle, but fortunately he had survived.
Sihtric and Finan wanted nothing more than to kill her, but Uhtred would listen to no reason. So the only thing you had to do was follow his orders, as you swore to him.
While Osferth rested in his room, you, Sihtric and Finan sat at a table. Sitting in front of you, Sihtric was eating with an unrelaxed expression on his face and you, worried for him, exchanged a look with Finan, who however raised his shoulders slightly, just as confused as you.
You swallowed the morsel in your mouth to reach out for his hand, before he could drink from his goblet. Sihtric looked up from his plate to you and you gave him a small smile.
"Is everything okay?"
Sihtric nodded slowly, squeezing your hand weakly.
"I'm just tired..." he only replied.
From the tone he had just used you understood that in addition to being tired he was also a little annoyed, but you didn't push the topic, not wanting to ruin the atmosphere which was already heavy.
Before you could say anything else, Uhtred entered the hall and came to sit with you, next to Sihtric.
"Where is Osferth?" he asked.
"He's sleeping" Finan replied. "As we all should do"
"I suppose we can't leave the witch with Haesten" you said, looking at your plate. "We have to go get her, don't we?"
"Again" Sihtric commented.
"We have to" Finan answered you and then looked at Uhtred. "As long as she is free you will be cursed"
"Skade is with the danes, i cannot get to her" your lord replied. "And we will not die for her"
"Death will find us regardless" commented Sihtric again, but this time giving Uhtred an annoyed look. You touched his foot from under the table, but he ignored you, still glaring at Uhtred.
"Do you want to tell me something Sihtric?" Uhtred retorted, equally unnerved by his attitude.
"No, he does not" Finan answered cautiously for him.
But Sihtric did not back down.
"Aren't too many men dead already?"
"Dying is a warrior's risk" Finan continued.
There was silence for a few seconds while you looked between the three men, hoping that the discussion had ended there.
"I will return to Ragnar" Uhtred then said. "I have to help him find peace"
"You will only find ghosts around his grave" Sihtric retorted once again.
"Sihtric stop it" you whispered and he looked at you for a split second, then looked away.
You weren't mad at him, you understood his point of view a little, but you didn't want him and Uhtred to get into an argument.
"Continue to protect Aethelfled and rest" Uhtred concluded and then stood up, while you and Finan nodded.
Uhtred headed for the door but before he could leave, Sihtric's voice rang through the hall.
"Those who serve Uhtred will not rest. Not while Skade is still free"
Uhtred stopped in his tracks, turning to look at him.
"Sihtric you're tired and you're drunk" Finan interjected again, trying to calm things down.
"Yes, i am tired" Sihtric replied, then turned to Uhtred. "Of marching from north to south, being called a traitor and not to being able to live my life in peace with my woman. And for what?"
Your heart sank when he glanced at you as he said the last words and you looked at him pityingly. Yes he was right, you too missed life in Wessex with your beloved Sihtric before Uhtred was banished and the affair with Skade had only made that whole situation worse than it already was. But you didn't even like the hatred that had arisen between him and Uhtred. Yours was a united group and you couldn't let that witch split it with her curses.
"Then leave" Uhtred replied, moving closer to him again.
"Uhtred, you truly don’t mean that" you murmured worriedly, but he ignored you, continuing to look at Sihtric.
"If you're unhappy then take your wife and leave"
Sihtric jumped up in anger and gave him a small shove backwards.
"I have fought for you!" he exclaimed.
Uhtred smirked. "You fight because you like it"
"You would let me go that easily?" Sihtric hissed.
You and Finan stood up to join them, placing yourself between them.
"Leave or stay, i do not care" Uhtred replied.
"Yes he does care, he's not serious. Now enough arguing, let us sit down" Finan said seriously, looking at them.
You took Sihtric's hand and although your touch and warmth were always enough to calm him, this time they had no effect.
"Leave or stay Sihtric Kjartansson, it's your choice" Uhtred continued, looking at him defiantly. "Make it"
Sihtric stared back, thinking for a couple of seconds about how to respond, until he tilted his head.
"Do you want to make a square Uhtred of Bebbanburg?" he asked menacingly.
"Both of you stop! Neither of you will fight" you interjected, placing your hands on Sihtric's shoulders and making him take a couple of steps back.
"There won't be any square, we. just. sleep." continued Finan. "Sleep"
Uhtred and Sihtric continued to look at each other and Finan sighed a curse, tired of the situation. Then he approached Sihtric.
"Take the prisoners to the pigs, tied up" he ordered, knowing it was best for him and Uhtred to remain separated.
Sihtric moved his gaze to your eyes as if he wanted to know your opinion and you looked at him seriously without saying anything, wanting him to understand that Finan was right. You all needed to sleep and put the fights behind you.
"Sihtric!" Uhtred's voice boomed once again and you all turned to look at him. "I will leave at dawn. But i will return... And if you are still here, i will kill you"
Your eyes widened, bringing a hand to your mouth and Sihtric stiffened. Uhtred said nothing else and turned to leave again.
"Uhtred please-" you tried to call out to him, taking a step towards him but he walked out and closed the door behind him.
You ran a hand over your face, feeling your eyes watering, but you stopped yourself from crying and turned to look at Sihtric.
Finan shook his head, looking at his friend with disappointed eyes.
"Why?" he just asked him.
But Sihtric didn't seem to be as sad and upset as you were, in fact he just got angrier at Uhtred's threat. With a wave of his arm he threw away the cup that was on the table, causing it to fall to the floor.
"He has cursed us all!" he exclaimed, looking at you and Finan, who sat back down at the table with his head in his hands.
Dagfinn, Haesten's companion whom you had taken prisoner, had witnessed the whole scene like the rest of the men and decided to interfere.
"She has cursed you" he commented, while he was busy eating with the other prisoners. "And Uhtred let her"
"Be quiet" you murmured.
"Leave him, it's your only chance" Dagfinn continued to Sihtric. "You are a dane first and foremost"
Tumblr media
When Sihtric left the hall to take the prisoners to the pigsty, you watched him go heartbroken. There was no way in your mind that he and Uhtred had actually said those things to each other. I mean, you can understand sometimes not getting along and having different opinions, but Uhtred had threatened to kill him! How did you end up at this?
Someone placed a hand on your shoulder and when you turned you met Finan's pitying gaze.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" he asked thoughtfully and you nodded weakly.
"Do you think…" you murmured. "Do you think Uhtred was serious? Would he really kill Sihtric?"
Finan let out a small sigh, stroking your shoulder with his thumb. "Part of me doesn't want to believe it, but... We know what Uhtred is like"
"But Sihtric didn't do anything wrong" you replied worriedly. "Finan, it's not his fault it's Skade's fault. Why would Uhtred kill him? I understand that he was angry about what Sihtric said, but... B-But it's not fair!"
Finan hugged you, caressing your head and bringing it against his chest and you let yourself be lulled by his caresses. You loved Finan like he was your older brother, you protected each other and he had always been there for you in times of need, even when there were problems between you and Sihtric.
"I don't know what to do" you continued, your voice muffled by his clothes. "Would you really let Uhtred kill Sihtric? Would you let our group be destroyed in this horrible way because of the witch?"
Finan tilted his head to press a small kiss to your hair and then placed a hand on your cheek, pulling you away so he could look you in the eyes.
"Why don't you go and talk to Sihtric? You're the only one who can make him see some sense, little one, and we all know that. And when Uhtred returns we will clear up the situation once and for all. No one will kill anyone, i promise"
You nodded, closing your eyes to let out two lone tears and Finan wiped one away with his thumb.
"Thank you Finan" you said with a small smile. "We're lucky to have you here"
He smiled back and removed his hand from your face to let you walk away as he watched you walk out the door.
When you were about to reach the pigsty, you saw Sihtric walking in your direction, after he had finished binding the prisoners.
"Sihtric" you called him softly.
Sihtric froze and raised his head to look at you as you stood in front of him. You were both silent for a couple of seconds until you gave a small smile mixed with a grimace.
"You carry the smell of pigs with you" you said. "Unless it's the one of the danes'"
Sihtric smiled and then shook his head.
"Have you come to scold me?" he asked you and even if he didn't want to address you in a rude way, you clearly heard the bitterness in his tone of voice, probably because he was still angry with Uhtred.
"Oh no my love. No..." you replied immediately, shaking your head.
You reached both hands forward to take one of his and Sihtric relaxed, squeezing your hands back.
"I just want to talk to you. I understand your point of view, i know you miss our life in Coccham and i miss it too, i really do" you said trying to reassure him. "But why did you talk to Uhtred like that? Why did you get so angry?"
"You ask me why?" he asked in turn. "You ask me why i was the only one among all to have the courage to rebel against him after he did nothing but use us for a whore who only made us suffer? Is that what you ask me?"
"Sihtric, he is our Lord. We have sworn loyalty to him-"
"No. His mind is cursed and he no longer thinks. That is not the man to whom i gave my axe, do you understand?" he retorted, placing his hands on your shoulders. "The Uhtred i know wouldn't have thrown me away like i was shit and wouldn't have threatened to kill me"
You shook your head again, placing your hands on his cheeks. "He didn't mean it, he would never kill you. Uhtred... I'm sure there's a reason behind his actions, you have to trust him, like we always have"
"Do you trust him? Do you still want to serve him? After everything we have done for him?"
You reluctantly nodded and Sihtric took a step back with a grimace.
"I should have expected that you would stay on his side and not mine"
Your eyes widened as you felt your heart skip a beat.
"What? Sihtric, no-"
"You would rather listen to the words of a cursed lord than those of your own husband"
"What are you saying? Why do you think that?" you asked, taking a step towards him.
"What would you do if i asked you to come with me?" he retorted.
You fell silent for a couple of seconds, not understanding his question.
"What do you mean?"
"I no longer want to follow Uhtred's orders. I can't stay here, i want to leave"
"But... But where to? Sihtric i don't understand"
"Anywhere but here. Uhtred doesn't want me so i'll leave"
"No. My dear please, you don't really mean it" you tried to say, but he nodded.
"Yes, i do. And i want you to choose once and for all" Sihtric said, moving closer to you again. "Me or Uhtred"
You shook your head, looking at him with teary, teary eyes.
"I can't. Please don't ask me to answer this"
"You can't or you don't want to?" Sihtric hissed through clenched teeth. "Don't you want to stay with your husband?"
You lowered your head, sniffling, scared. What did you have to do? Could you really choose between the man you loved and the one you swore loyalty to for life? Of course not. But by now Sihtric was blinded by rage.
Sihtric looked at you with an almost disappointed look and took a couple of steps back.
"Just as i thought. I can't trust anyone anymore. Only the Gods" he said, turning his back to you.
Those words and the feeling that he wanted to leave forever pushed you to run to position yourself in front of him again, intent on making him reason for the last time.
"Sihtric, please listen to me. Listen to me my love" you said, looking intently into his eyes as he saw your pupils flutter. "I love you with all my heart, i trust you and you know i would follow you to the end of the world. But i also love Uhtred, the same way i love Finan and Osferth. I know you're angry, but you must not let that witch destroy everything our friendship has built"
Sihtric let out a deep breath through his nose, remaining silent to listen to you and you took one of his hands, bringing it to your chest.
"Don't ask me to choose between you and Uhtred. I don't want to lose any of you. We're family" you murmured through tears, stroking the tattoos on his fingers. "Please. Stay with us and we will solve everything. Together"
There were a few seconds of silence that were broken by the sound of someone walking nearby and the noises of the night. Then Sihtric sighed and leaned over to rest his forehead against yours. You closed your eyes and he pressed a kiss to your forehead, wrapping his arm around your shoulders to pull you against his body.
"You're the only one who will always be able to convince me. And that's why i love you" he murmured against your skin.
You smiled, wrapping your arms around his body and rubbing your cheek against the soft fur he was wearing.
"Glad to hear it"
Tumblr media
The next morning you woke up with sunlight hitting your face. You reached out beside you, believing you could touch Sihtric's body and you were surprised when you felt his side of the bed empty. But you didn't worry too much, thinking that he was already with the others. You stood up and after getting dressed you went down to the hall to eat something, joining Finan and Osferth who were already sitting at the table with Aethelfled.
"Good morning" you said with a smile, not noticing the worried looks your companions exchanged.
The princess smiled at you, greeting you in return and you sat down in front of her, next to Finan.
"How are you Osferth? Are you feeling better?" you asked, turning to the young monk, who nodded slowly.
"Um, yes thank you. Much better than yesterday"
"That's good. Have you guys seen Sihtric? I thought he was with you" you asked then.
Finan put down the piece of bread he was chewing and looked into your eyes.
"Sweetheart" he called to you cautiously. "Sihtric is gone"
You looked at him in silence, your brain still busy registering his words. "What do you mean?"
"He left with the prisoners. This night" Osferth replied this time, sounding sad and disappointed at what your husband had done. "He betrayed us"
You looked between the two of them and Aethelfled who tried to give you a reassuring smile, but that wasn't enough to calm the doubts and confusion that were clouding your mind.
"What? It-It's impossible, no..." you replied, shaking your head. "Why he would betray us, i don't understand. I-I, i talked to him Finan, you know that, right? We talked, i told him we would help him and he told me he wouldn't leave. No, no..."
Finan looked at you with pity and you lowered your head, seeing a couple of tears that you didn't even realize you were shedding fall onto your plate.
"Why did he do it?" you murmured, sniffling.
You balled your hands into fists above your thighs and Finan leaned in to rub his palm on your shoulder, trying to comfort you. But now it was all useless. You trusted Sihtric and he had taken advantage of your moment of weakness to escape without even saying goodbye. You had lost your husband and your companions had lost a friend. And the pain caused by betrayal burned more than that of death in battle.
Tumblr media
"Hey"
You lifted your head, seeing Osferth sit down next to you. Around you, Uhtred's men chatted and laughed among themselves, and Finan played dice with them. You were watching them in silence, happy that at least they were enjoying their stay at Aethelfled's estate.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly, looking at you with the usual worry lingering in his eyes.
You nodded, smiling slightly but didn't say anything. Your mind had been troubled since the day Sihtric left and you didn't know what to do or think anymore.
"How about we have a drink to relax?" continued the monk. "And we can also have our new slave serve us"
You stared at him confused by his words, but when you noticed Finan approaching you with two cups of beer that he handed you, you smiled amusedly. You and Osferth clashed your beers in a toast, while Finan leaned towards the window to look out. Osferth swallowed the drink he was taking to look at him.
"What is it?" he asked and you also turned to Finan.
"Better to say who it is" replied the other with a smile, and then moved away from the window and headed towards the door.
The doors flew open and Uhtred entered. You and Osferth stood up, also happy with his return, while Finan walked towards him.
"You're back" the Irishman said as he hugged him with a smile and Uhtred hugged him back.
"I'm back"
The two broke away and Uhtred placed a hand on Finan's shoulder.
"Sihtric?" he asked.
"He has left. A long time ago" Finan answered. "Along with the prisoners, Lord"
Uhtred nodded and after giving him a couple of pats on the shoulder he also noticed your and Osferth's presence.
"Osferth" he called, walking in your direction.
"Lord"
"You're still alive" Uhtred said in a teasing tone and Osferth smiled.
"Of course Lord"
The two hugged and then Uhtred turned to you, calling your name.
"I'm glad you're back, Lord" you murmured, moving closer to him. Uhtred gave you a smile that seemed more made out of pity and hugged you. You tightened your arms around his body and he caressed your back a couple of times, then pulled away and looked you in the eyes.
"I'm sorry about Sihtric" he murmured, though those near you could still hear him. "How are you?"
You shrugged with a sigh. "I can't say that i didn't suffer from his choice, like everyone else here. My heart is broken in half. But i try not to give in to the pain and move forward"
Uhtred nodded and in the meantime Aethelfled also joined you in the hall, having learned of Uhtred's return. And when their eyes met they smiled at each other.
Tumblr media
Uhtred had to take Skade back. But entering the camp of the danes, who were more than two thousand men in the service of Cnut, Brida, Haesten and Bloodhair, was impossible, practically suicide. But Uhtred was no fool and you were proud to have sworn your sword to a man of his valor.
Luck, or fate and the Gods to some, came your way when you stopped at the village of Crugland, where the Mercians (or buttered bishops as Finan said) who lived there wanted to keep you trapped as bait for the danes. But after you had rid yourself of Aethelfled's traitors you went in the direction of the danes' camp, knowing that some of them would leave thanks to your diversion.
"Uhtred"
You rode your horse closer to Uhtred's, who was trotting at the head of the group and he turned to face you.
"I was thinking…" you murmured and he had no trouble hearing the tone of concern decorating your voice. "Do you think we will meet Sihtric when we enter the camp?"
"Very likely, because he knows i want Skade back" Uhtred nodded, then looked forward again.
You looked down at your horse's mane and tightened your grip on the bridle. You wanted to ask him something else but you didn't have the courage.
"You're afraid i'll kill him as soon as i see him, aren't you?" Uhtred asked you and you looked back at him with wide eyes. It was like he read your mind.
Uhtred let out a deep breath from his chest, as if he was still pondering something.
"Would you really do that?" you murmured. "Would you kill him?"
Uhtred smiled, turning to you.
"You still care about him, despite what he did"
You remained silent for a couple of seconds, thinking about what to answer him and you ran your tongue over your lips.
"When i fight in battle i always try to kill my enemies with the first blow, so as not to make them suffer. Because i don't wish the worst pain even on my greatest enemy. And Sihtric is no different. He is still my husband, but even if should our paths part forever, i will worry about him until i die"
"And tell me, would you defend him from my sword?" Uhtred asked you seriously and you looked at him in surprise. "You stayed with me and i appreciate that. But if he and i found ourselves face to face dueling, what would you do? Would you try to save him from his fate?"
His words caught you off guard and for the second time you found yourself with a dry mouth. Your heart beat faster knowing that Uhtred was right. You had to make a choice. A choice from which this time you couldn't back out. Sihtric or Uhtred?
"In all honesty i still don't know, Lord” you said. "I guess we'll find out about that once he's with us"
You looked back at the horizon, where the sun was slowly starting to set. Inside your brain there was a tornado of thoughts and doubts that never stopped. Uhtred, however, managed to keep himself from smiling.
Tumblr media
There were a few hours left before darkness arrived and you, Uhtred and the others were hiding in the trees near the camp, waiting for the right moment to infiltrate.
"Someone is coming" Finan whispered, pulling out a dagger. Osferth remained kneeling at your feet, while you and Uhtred clasped your hands on the hilts of your swords, ready to attack.
"It's Sihtric" Osferth muttered and your eyes widened.
You felt your heart skip a beat and exchanged a look with Finan, while Uhtred took up his sword.
And Osferth was right. It was him, it was Sihtric.
When you saw your husband emerge from the branches your first instinct was to go to him, but Uhtred beat you to it and took a step towards him.
"Do you have something to tell me?" he asked menacingly. Sihtric looked him in the eyes and nodded.
"I do" he replied before drawing his sword and pointing it at your lord. "Yield to me"
You expected one of the two to attack the other and you weren't ready to know what you would had to do, who you would've defended. But much to your surprise and confusion, Uhtred raised his arms and let his sword slip from his hand. A second later, Sihtric planted his sword on the ground and approached Uhtred to embrace him. They both laughed, while you all looked at them in shock.
"You fooled us!" Osferth said with a surprised smile, reaching back to touch Finan's leg. "They fooled us! Why?"
Uhtred and Sihtric stepped away from each other, while the monk and Finan approached your husband. You, on the other hand, remained motionless on your spot and stared at him.
"You had to believe it for the others to believe it too" Uhtred replied.
"I knew it" said Finan to Sihtric.
"No, you did not. Was i good?" your husband replied with a smirk, then turning back to Uhtred.
"A little" said the other with a wave of his hand.
"I'm telling you i knew it" continued Finan and then hugged his friend, followed by Osferth who did the same.
At that moment you also decided to approach them and Sihtric finally laid his gaze on you. It was in that precise moment that you saw his mismatched eyes fill with joy and love, two completely different eyes than the ones full of anger he had on the night of the "betrayal". That was the Sihtric you could recognize.
"My love" he said with a relieved smile, stretching his arms out towards you.
You stepped towards him, but just before you could hug him you had a second of hesitation. You quickly looked over his shoulder at Finan and Osferth, who gave you two reassuring smiles and so you took them as signs to wrap your arms around your husband's body. When your cheek came to rest on his warm, fur-covered clothes, you let out a breath of relief from your nose as he pressed his hands on your hips to pull you towards him.
"I missed you" Sihtric murmured.
"I missed you too"
You felt his fingers caress your body as he tilted his head to press a kiss to your hair. You remained in that position for a few seconds and while he seemed to be calm, you felt a strange sensation begin to invade your body.
"I thought you were angry with me" Sihtric murmured with a chuckle, making the others smile as well.
At those words you suddenly detached yourself from his body and punched him on the arm, a gesture at which everyone's eyes widened, taken aback.
"Ow!" Sihtric exclaimed in surprise. "Why did you hit me?"
"Angry? You thought i was just angry with you??" you asked, frowning at him.
"Honey what-" he tried to ask you but you cut him off.
"Do you have any idea what i've been through, Sihtric Kjartansson?" you asked angrily again, pointing a finger at his chest. "Do you have any idea how i've felt these days, thinking you betrayed us? Thinking you hated us? Osferth, tell him"
Osferth jumped, not expecting to be involved, while Uhtred and Finan exchanged looks like two people enjoying a show.
"U-Um, you felt bad-"
"Bad, yes! That's how i felt!" you spoke in Osferth's place, continuing your speech. "I felt very bad, Sihtric. I wasn't just mad, i was also sad and so fucking disappointed. You left without saying anything and i thought you had lost faith in me"
You stepped back and turned your back to him, not wanting him to see how you were rubbing a hand over your eyes to keep the tears from coming out.
"I-I thought you didn't love me anymore, i thought... I thought i had lost you forever..."
Sihtric's gaze softened when he saw your shoulders move with small spasms in the throes of sobs and he slowly approached you. He placed his hands on your shoulders, making you turn towards him and you let him.
"My love, look at me" he said softly, placing both hands on your wet cheeks so he could look into your eyes.
Oh, how you missed feeling his palms on your face.
"I'm so sorry you had to go through this" he said, trying to wipe the tears from your cheeks. "I want you to know that i've thought about you day and night since i left. There were never any secrets between you and me and having to keep the truth of the plan hidden from you destroyed me. I felt so guilty for leaving you alone to suffer, believe me. I didn't mean a single word of what i said to you that night, i never doubted you and your loyalty. And i will never stop loving you. Never. Understood?"
You nodded and sniffled as Sihtric leaned in to give you a long kiss on the forehead, while thanks to his comforting words you felt all the doubts that had invaded your head dissolve like fog.
"Do you forgive me?" he asked when he pulled away from your skin.
What a stupid question, of course you forgave him, you already had. And how could you not when he was looking at you with that pleading look of a guilty man?
So you raised your hands to wrap them around his wrists and nodded once again, smiling heartily.
"Of course i forgive you"
Sihtric smiled back and without wasting time he attached his lips to yours. You both closed your eyes, enjoying that kiss that sealed the renewal of your love and that would never fade.
When you pulled away you punched him again on the other arm and he looked at you offended.
"And what was that for??" he asked with wide eyes.
You pointed a finger at him, then crossed your arms and looked at him with a fake serious look.
"You stupid. Play another jest like that on me and next time i'll be the one that leaves you. Am i clear?"
Sihtric nodded with an amused smile and the others chuckled too.
"Yes my Lady"
Then you turned to Uhtred.
"I'll punch you too later Uhtred" you said and he looked at you in surprise.
"Me? What did i do?"
"Well, i think that this ingenious plan wasn't just my husband's idea, right?"
And while Uhtred looked at you with an embarrassed smile, Sihtric, Finan and Osferth laughed.

off topic but I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SHIP SIHTRIC AND SKADE!!!!! LIKE, I'M SORRY DID WE WATCH THE SAME SHOW???
"ThE cHeMisTRy BeTwEeN tHeM wAs So sTRonG!"

I haven't read the books, but in the serie they only spoke like once or twice in all the season and she never showed any interest in him. And he fucking despised her!!! He was clearly scared of her and he just wanted to kill her, like everyone else!!
Is it just me??? Please, i can't be the only one who saw it.

Trey notices your memory troubles pretty early. He’s used to watching out for others, especially in a dorm like Heartslabyul. You forget small things often: if you turned off the oven, where you left your notebook, or what someone just asked you to do seconds ago. But Trey never calls you out in front of others or sighs in frustration.
Instead, he quietly adapts.
“Did you tap your ring twice before walking away? That’s how you mark when you finish something, right?” he asks, cleaning flour off his fingers during a baking session. You nod, a little embarrassed. He gives a soft, understanding chuckle.
“Hey, if it helps you remember, it’s not silly. Everyone’s got their own systems.”
Trey’s always gentle and straightforward. When he helps you in the kitchen, he’ll pause and ask, “Want me to say something out loud when you start the next step? Might help it stick.” If you're feeling overwhelmed or second-guessing yourself, he never rushes you—he just stands by, ready to pick up where you left off.
He encourages you to build consistent, repeatable patterns, not just for yourself, but so he can support you better. “You snap when you're done with the eggs. Okay. I’ll watch for that, and if you don’t do it, I’ll give a nudge. Sound fair?”
He never pities you, though. Trey is practical and calm, and he knows stress doesn’t help memory one bit. “Don’t beat yourself up over it. You remembered to bring me that weird strawberry-salt combo I mentioned once in passing. That says a lot.”
He respects how observant you are in other ways; how you notice when he’s clenching his jaw whenever he's unsure, or how he adjusts his glasses twice when he’s thinking. You may forget instructions, but you remember people. Trey sees the effort, and that means more to him than perfection.
─────────────────────────
Ruggie catches on fast, probably because he’s spent his whole life working around other people’s messes. When you forget something the third time in a row, he doesn’t get mad; he just sighs and offers a solution.
“You do that snap noise every time you finish a chore, right? Kinda weird, but hey, it works,” he grins. “Wanna teach me your system so I can back you up?”
He jokes a lot, calling your forgetfulness “goldfish mode”, but the teasing is lighthearted and never cruel. If anyone else dares mock you, he’s quick to defend you with a sharp glare and a, “You ain’t perfect either, y’know.”
Ruggie starts building reminders into your shared tasks. “Let’s clap twice before sweeping. That way you’ll know it’s done. Boom. Efficiency.” He’s surprisingly clever at helping you make your memory tricks fun and quick— “Work smart, not hard,” he says, tapping his temple.
He especially notices that you always remember his favorite food, how he likes his tail scratched, and how he stashes bread rolls for later.
“Ha! You forgot which class we had, but remembered I hide stuff in the third drawer? You’re somethin’ else,” he says, shaking his head but grinning.
─────────────────────────
Jade is… a little too fascinated.
“I see. So, your memory retention increases when associated with physical or auditory cues. Intriguing.” His tone is polite, but you can feel the curiosity burning under the surface.
He watches your routines intently. You snap your fingers, then spin once to remember you watered the plants. Jade does not intervene—he observes. Quietly, thoroughly.
When he starts assisting, it’s subtle. You go to double-check something, and it’s already done. Jade did it after watching your pattern break.
“I noticed you didn’t make your usual snapping sound. I assumed the task slipped.” He smiles, eerie but sincere.
He offers experimental solutions, too: “Would associating smell improve recall? I could prepare small samples for you to test—harmless, of course.”
If you forget and panic, he never scolds. “Calm down. The mind is complex. Yours simply takes a different path.”
You once recited the exact way he brews his special tea— from timing to the tealeaf brand. His eyes lit up, impressed.
“Fascinating. So you forget where you placed your book, but recall my blend perfectly? Truly… selective memory is a marvel.”
─────────────────────────
At first? Jamil felt some frustration. Not at you, but at the situation.
“Didn’t I just say—ah. Right. You didn’t mark it.” He sighs and rubs his temples.
But once he understands your condition better, he adjusts. He’s practical, organized, and deeply perceptive.
“You remember sounds and movement? Then let’s make a checklist. Dance-step it, if you have to.” He even helps choreograph simple foot taps or claps for tasks.
“Brush teeth: clap and snap. Got it?”
He never babies you, but he always keeps track. You can rely on him to step in when your memory hiccups mid-way through something important.
You’re checking the doorknob for the fourth time? “It’s locked. You tapped the frame three times. I watched.”
You once mentioned the exact number of times he adjusts his collar when he’s stressed. He stopped mid-fidget.
“…You really remembered that?” he asked quietly.
“Yeah. It’s one of your tells.”
That… hit him deeper than he let on.
“Even when your brain’s a mess, you notice that? Hmph. You’re something else, huh?”
─────────────────────────
Rook notices your forgetfulness right away— not just because you space out or repeat tasks, but because you use little actions to anchor yourself: tapping your knuckles, humming softly, or snapping your fingers after completing something.
He finds it fascinating.
“Ah, magnifique,” he murmurs the first time he watches you knock twice on the desk after finishing an assignment. “You remember the smallest details of those around you, but daily tasks vanish in an instant… how endearing.”
Rook never mocks you, never sighs. Instead, he picks up on your cues and gently reminds you when needed. If he sees you hesitate, he calmly says, “You tapped your fingers just now, non? That was your signal.” He’s observant enough to reinforce your system without making you feel embarrassed.
When you get frustrated, Rook reassures you with a warm smile. “Mon ami, do not let this trouble your heart. The memory of the soul is far more valuable than any fleeting errand.”
Around the dorm, Rook smooths things over when others get impatient, whether it’s teasing Epel to relax or reassuring Vil that you’re doing your best.
To Rook, your forgetfulness isn’t a flaw; it’s a unique trait that makes you even more intriguing.
“Life is full of moments we forget,” he tells you softly one evening. “But do not worry… I will remember for you.”
─────────────────────────
Lilia finds your memory lapses endearing.
“Ah, déjà vu! Or perhaps… you’ve simply forgotten again? Either way, it's charming!”
He playfully teases—“You asked me that three times, my dear!”—but he’s always gentle. And he offers solutions, often magical in nature.
“I once knew a knight who tied bells to their sleeves to remember chores. Want me to enchant something for you?”
You hum, tap, snap, and he starts joining in with your rhythms, dancing as he hands you reminders:
“Brushed your teeth? Tap twice and do a spin!”
“Fed Grim? Knock on the counter and hum a tune!”
He’s surprisingly good at helping you feel okay when you’re overwhelmed. When your voice cracks from forgetting something important, he just pats your head. “Even I forget things after these many years. Don’t fret, sprout.”
You once mentioned remembering the song he hummed under his breath in his room—something he hadn’t sung in a long while.
“…You remembered that?”
You nod.
“…My, my. Your mind holds treasure in the strangest corners.”

summary: you and fernando were known to be the biggest rivals on and off track back in 2012. that rivalry even crossed the line to pure hatred many years ago. but how did that hatred turn you two into the loving iconic couple of f1 you are today?
note: i’ve been dying to write this for AGES. it’s the fic that’s the reason i made this blog. keep in mind however this is just the prologue, so i’m simply setting up the story for where i want it to go. after this mostly social media chapter it gets plot heavy. anyways i hope you enjoy this!!!

—2012
This was not Fernando Alonso’s year. Losing the World Championship by 3 points was not good on his ego nor on his morale, yet here he was.
Everyone was celebrating Sebastian now for having won his 3rd World Championship– but Fernando was angry. Not at Sebastian, but at you.
You who had gotten first place.
You who was third in the Drivers Championship and had no chance to pass Fernando on the standings, yet still overtook him during the last two laps. You couldn’t even let him win.
“Good race Nando,” he heard a voice in front of him say. He paid no attention to it.
Getting no reply from him, you scoff and put down your water bottle. “I know you’re mad at me for getting first, but at least have some sportsmanship.”
That gets him to look up and take a proper look at you, post race sweat and your race suit dangling at your hips. He thinks you glow look terrible in this light. Because he was sat on some stairs, you were standing over him, hands on hips with a slightly smug look on your face.
“Don’t be a sore loser. It’s unbecoming.”
“I could have won the championship. I was three points away— three, and you could not even let me have that?” He gestures wildly. “I know you dislike me, but stealing my championship is far and beyond, L/N.”
He stands up, purposely hitting your shoulder as he walks past you.
Oh the bastard. He wanted to throw out accusations? Fine.
“Oh don’t be such a hypocrite. I stole your championship? What good would that even do me? I’m third in the standings, there was no way I was going to catch up to you,” you retort. Fernando was still facing away from you, but frozen on the spot. You knew he was listening. “I went faster because my contract with Mercedes expires this year. I’m losing my fucking seat, I need to prove to other teams I’m worth it. It’s bad enough you’re constantly fucking badmouthing my character to the press, and now you question my integrity as a driver? Honestly, Alonso, grow the fuck up. Not everything is about you.”
A silence befalls the room. Fernando doesn’t speak or do anything, and the seconds waiting for a response feels like minutes. He’s facing you at this point, speechless in his Ferrari race suit that looks fucking great on him. Too bad he’s a shitty person.
You sigh, exhausted. “Nothing?”
He shakes his head and looks down. Of course. He’s got nothing to say. Resigning, this time you’re the one to walk past him and towards the door behind him. He tries to look at everything else in the room that wasn’t you, the walls, the stairs, the tables, but that wasn’t enough to avoid your exasperated look that he could see through his peripheral vision.
He should’ve done something, anything. Stop you from walking away, tell you he’s sorry, just something. But he didn’t do anything. That was his first mistake.
One of many.

Where MC Reunites With Grim and Their Friends While The Obey Me Dateables + Luke Go Feral
People were wanting this from the part one of this request by @sweetlicorice

Where MC Tells the Obey Me Boys About How Horribly They Were Treated In Twisted Wonderland: (Part 1: Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Satan, Beelzebub, and Belphegor) And (Part 2: Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Solomon, and Luke)
.
Part 1 of this with the Obey Me brothers (Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Satan, Beelzebub, and Belphegor)
Specifically requested by @chaosisbliss and @secret-angels-stuff
TW: Talk of Angry Demons (don't worry, they aren't mad at you), Reuniting with a pet, Reuniting with friends, Crying, Fear of an authority figure, Talk of being overworked, Talk of being burnt out, Talk of abuse of power,
Reader is referred to as MC by the characters, and MC is gender neutral, but this is in second person point of view, so for the most part, you will be referred to as 'You' by the narrator.
Characters included are: Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Solomon, and Luke
Could be read as romantic or platonic (EXCEPT LUKE IS STRICTLY PLATONIC)
This will be long so story under the cut
This will be organized by character with some context beforehand.
Enjoy!!
Diavolo:
Diavolo was one of the more obvious choices, in your opinion. He was one of the few you were actually able to fully open up to about your past in this school because he runs a school of his own, and he strives to make your life better. He was appalled, aghast, to hear what Crowley had done. No teacher, especially not the headmaster, should be putting that much work on a student, especially not one from another world with no real way to get outside help.
Diavolo was furious on your behalf. But centuries, even millenia, of perfecting his public image, and practicing a fake smile to cover his real emotions as he looked for the most diplomatic solution covered that up quite nicely. He hated to hear how you had suffered. He was glad that he was able to help, and that you were in a better place now, but thinking of all you went through still makes him angry.
That being said, he was very excited to meet your friends, and your cat. Once you opened the floodgates about your friends, you were more than willing to talk about them and all the positive memories you had. The sleepovers, the study sessions, the midnight runs to Sam's shop, or breaking into each others dorms. He was happy to hear that while you struggled, you had a support system that was there for you in the ways that they could be. He wanted to meet these people, and for you to reunite with them.
You knew what your first stop would be after reuniting with Grim, which would be to immediately introduce Diavolo to Malleus. You wanted the two princes to be friends. Or, to at least be cordial. They were so very similar, so you hoped they could at least get along.
Before, when you didn't know whether you would ever be able to go home, you had confided to Malleus that you were worried about what that would mean for Grim. You were each only half of a student after all, and you wanted him to be able to continue to attend. He promised you that if you left, of your own volition or otherwise, he and Diasomnia would take in Grim if that's what he would want. You knew that Grim would likely choose Heartslabyul to live in, given the choice, but you were grateful for the offer, and even relayed it to Grim. He told you to stop talking nonsense that night, but you both knew that it wasn't necessarily nonsense, as your future was unknown to everyone.
You stepped through the portal, finding yourself in the room where the Dark Mirror is kept, having come out of it. You glared at it once Diavolo and you were both safely within the room. He noticed, wondering why you looked at this mirror with such vitriol.
"The Dark Mirror." You muttered bitterly. "I have half a mind to just smash it right here. But it's a rare and expensive artifact." You sighed. "Let's get out of here as quick as we can. I don't want to be around it longer than necessary. It reads souls, according to Crowley, and pretty much guaranteed I would be treated differently by announcing I had no magic to the entire school." You looked to Diavolo, who was now looking at the mirror in subtle curiosity.
"It reads souls?"
"Apparently." You shrugged. "Jamil's suspicious of that, but he's basically the only person I've heard say anything about it. Come on, let's get out of here." He nodded, and followed you as you snuck out of the room where it was kept. "Figures we'd show up through the Dark Mirror." You breathed as you walked through the hallways.
"Yes, it does tend to work in mysterious ways." You yelped at the sudden voice and figure beside you, nearly toppling over backwards with how much you flinched, if not for Diavolo catching you. You heard that familiar giggle, putting your mind at ease as you sighed.
"Lilia!" You scolded lightly, righting yourself with some help from Diavolo. "You shouldn't scare me like that. It's not polite."
"Pish posh. We're close enough." He laughed, hugging you, which you quickly returned, happy to see the mischievous fae. "You must be wondering about your lovely cat."
"Is he alright, did Crowley do something?" You asked quickly, parting from the man.
"He is fine. Crowley did try to kick him out, but, Malleus protested, and he was admitted as a familiar of Diasomnia." Lilia assured.
"Oh thank the Seven." You breathed in relief. "Could you bring us there?"
"Why certainly!" He beamed.
"And can I borrow your phone?" You asked awkwardly. "Kind of need to tell the other first years I'm here, you know, before they find out no one told them and riot."
"They have been doing that a lot lately." Lilia said cryptically, pulling out and handing you his phone.
You quickly created a group chat and sent a message, just telling them that it was you, and you were back, and also heading to Diasomnia to get your cat, they can meet you there if you like. Going to hand him back his phone, you realized he was no longer in front of you, but floating before Diavolo, examining him closely.
"Lilia, personal space." You sighed, reminding the fae. "Please, I'll do formal introductions of everyone once we reach Diasomnia. I just really need to see Grim." You bargained.
"Very well. Follow me."
He dropped to the floor, and started leading you and Diavolo through the halls. You already knew how to get to Diasomnia, and he knew that, but you didn't know where Grim was, and he did. So, he led you through the halls, asking questions about where you'd been and what you'd been up to. He didn't stop to let Diavolo question the mirror transportation, just kept talking.
You knew Lilia was perceptive, it was a skill he'd honed over all the years he'd lived, both as a soldier, and as a father. You knew the questions he was asking weren't just regular questions, he was subtly probing to make sure that you were safe and happy there. You didn't call him out on it, just appreciating the care.
Diavolo could tell too. You'd told him of Lilia, how, despite looking young, he was actually over 700 years old and is a father. He was glad to see that Lilia was making sure, even if not obviously, that you were ok. That being said, he didn't know how to feel when Lilia turned the questions on him, and asking him with a suspicious, almost malicious smirk, rather than the soft fond smile he wore when speaking to you. You just rolled your eyes at Lilia's antics, which put Diavolo at ease.
The three of you walked through the long, winding hallways of Diasomnia, passing students as you did. Some stopped and stared, but you didn't know if they were staring because you had returned after disappearing into thin air with no warning, or because Diavolo radiated power and authority. But, you figured it was probably a mixture of the two.
You finally made it to the common room, which you're certain was closer to the entrance than Lilia made it seem. You didn't say anything, deciding to not say anything about it, more worried about seeing Grim than you were about Lilia leading you and Diavolo on a goose chase. Upon entering the common room, you saw Malleus, Silver, Sebek, and Grim. Silver was asleep, as expected, but the other three were talking.
"Are ya sure ya read the text right?" Grim, standing on the coffee table, asked Sebek, who stood beside him, but not on the coffee table.
"I am certain!" Sebek nodded to his own, loud, words, absolutely positive he'd understood the text he'd gotten from Lilia's phone. Grim narrowed his eyes at him, skeptical. You laughed at the sight, catching the attention of the three.
"MC!" Grim exclaimed, absolutely ecstatic to see you.
He leapt off the table, bounding over. You knelt down, allowing him to slam his full body into yours, as your arms enclosed around him. You felt tears sting your eyes, happy to see your found family. You stood up, him still in your arms. You felt your shirt get slightly wet where his face is, but you didn't say anything, knowing you were on the verge of tears yourself. Sebek was quick to approach, but didn't hug you until you beckoned him to join the hug, wanting you two to have your moment.
Once Sebek let you go, Grim remained attached to you, and you him. You sniffled, wiping the tears that had not fallen as you smiled at your friends. Malleus was standing nearby, hesitating until you opened one of your arms for him to hug you, the other still securing Grim to your chest. You on your tiptoes, him slightly bending down, the angles were awkward, but you still gave your favorite fae prince a hug.
Once you finished greeting everyone, tears having been shed and wiped, you finally turned to Diavolo, beaming up at him. Though everyone had noticed him, Sebek keeping his distance as if sensing his power and importance, which he probably did, no one had addressed him yet.
"Diavolo, this is Grim. Grim, this is Diavolo. He's the headmaster of my new school, and he is much better than Crowley." You assured him, Grim turning in your hold to get a good look at him while still tucked against your chest.
"I have been looking forward to meeting you. Mc speaks highly of you, Grim. They speak highly of all of you." Diavolo assured.
"Formal introductions, right, I said I'd do that." You realized. "Everyone! This is Diavolo, he's the Headmaster of the Royal Academy of Diavolo, or RAD, where I attend. He's a very dear friend of mine." You gestured to the very large man beside you. "Diavolo this is Lilia, Malleus, Sebek, and Silver, who is sleeping. Malleus is the Crown Prince of Briar Valley, Silver and Sebek are his guards, and Lilia is his advisor." You introduced, pointing to each person as you introduced them. "The rest of the first year group, I'm assuming based on how much Sebek's phone is exploding, will be here momentarily, and I will introduce you to them then."
"The Royal Academy of Diavolo, does that make you a Royal then?" Lilia asked.
"Yes!" Diavolo smiled. "I am the Crown Prince of the Devildom."
"I thought you might get along, Malleus. Since you two have that in common at least. And, you know, some might say, Diavolo is equal in power to you, maybe even more so." You teased, smiling at the fae, who seemed intrigued at the notion of an equal. Diavolo simply smiled, happy to get to meet your friends.
Speaking of your friends, the first year group all but broke down the door to the common room of Diasomnia, tackling you as they tried to all hug you at once. Diavolo watched on, fond amusement in his eyes as he silently swore to tear Crowley a new one for ever taking away your smile. But for now, watching you reunite with your friends, that would be enough until he could cook that crow.
Barbatos:
You had an inkling of where Grim would be. Barbatos was fine with letting you lead the way, him walking at your side. Like a smiling shadow, ever present. You were honestly kind of surprised that he agreed to come with you. You had asked him first, but, you genuinely thought he might've said no, so it was a pleasant surprise when he said yes.
Grim, both was where you thought he would be, and wasn't at the same time. You thought he'd be at the place with the most food, the Mostro Lounge or Scarabia, or even the cafeteria. And he was where the most food was. However, that was actually the arena at the moment, apparently there was some kind of event where students could make whatever they wanted and sell it.
You very easily dodged Lilia's table, dragging Barbatos with you, though he wasn't exactly resisting. You found your way to the area where the Mostro Lounge had set up. You saw Jamil, standing beside Trey and Riddle, all three of them varying stages of disappointment and exasperation.
"What's going on?" You asked, approaching.
"MC!" Trey happily exclaimed upon hearing you. He turned and pulled you into a tight hug, Riddle hugging you immediately after. Jamil didn't hug you, but he did offer you a smile, which you returned in kind.
"This is Barbatos, he's a really good friend of mine." You explained, gesturing to Barbatos, who was wearing his civilian clothes, rather than his usual RAD uniform. "He goes to the school I go to now."
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you, they speak highly of everyone here." Barbatos smiled.
"Barbs, this is Riddle, Trey, and Jamil. Riddle is the housewarden of Heartslabyul, and Trey is his vice housewarden. Jamil is the vice housewarden of Scarabia." You introduced, gesturing to each person you spoke of as you spoke about them.
"To answer your earlier question, we are looking at stupidity." Jamil sighed.
You looked over Trey's shoulder to see Ace and Deuce waiting tables, looking miserable, with familiar anemone's on their heads. And soon you spotted Grim with a nearly identical one on his head. You felt your eye twitch.
"So, whose bright idea was this?"
"I believe, actually, that Azul told them he could get you back, so it's both stupid and admirable." Riddle sighed.
"You know what, I'm kind of flattered. And at least the others aren't involved." You sighed. "I'm guessing since you're here that Floyd isn't?" You asked Riddle.
"I haven't actually seen Floyd in a while." He hummed. "Have you?"
"No, I was more focused on finding Grim, and avoiding Lilia's booth." You and the other Night Raven students shuddered in sync. "Alright, it seems I must go figure out how to get these guys out of their contracts. Again."
Luckily this time you had Barbatos's help, and he is scarily good at figuring out how to do pretty much anything. Honestly, compared to the last time you had to get the guys out of a deal with Azul, this is probably going to be a piece of cake. Especially since you're here now, and the whole reason they took the contracts, according to Riddle, was for you to come back. Which means, technically, they should be free once you talk to Azul. But, knowing him, things are never that easy.
Avoiding any of your friends seeing you, not wanting to get their hopes up, you walked over to the area where Azul and Jade were. Armed with Barbatos, you walked with confidence up to the schemers. Upon seeing you, Azul spit out his tea and turned a rather interesting shade of purple, whereas Jade's eyes widened slightly before returning to normal. And while Jade's reaction doesn't seem as extreme as Azul's, you took it as a victory anyway.
"Azul, I believe that my friends are owed their freedom, due to my being back."
"Well, I, wuh, I," He stammered.
"What I believe my boss is eloquently trying to explain, that there is a clause in the contract that stipulates he has to be the one to bring you back." Jade intervened. "And while it is good to see you again, and I'm sure Floyd will be ecstatic at your presence, it was not Azul who is the reason behind it, and therefore your presence has no effect on their contracts."
"I see. So you returned to your narrowly legal business practices then?" You looked between the two. "Unfortunately for you, I have someone who's adept in legalities this time."
"No destroying of contracts?" Jade teased.
"I'm still willing to use force if that's what is necessary." You warned, matching his smile.
"May I see a copy of the contract?" Barbatos asked, to which Azul quickly produced his copy of it. Barbatos, whose reading speed rivals Satan's quickly scanned it over, before smiling. "They're free to go."
"No they're not. The contract is air-tight, I wrote it myself." Azul assured, more calm now that he's adjusted to your presence.
"Yes, it is. Except this contract doesn't state that you must be the reason behind their return to Twisted Wonderland. It states that in return for their barely paid labor that you will find a way to get MC back. It states in a separate clause that upon MC's arrival back in Twisted Wonderland they will be free from their contract. However, it does not state that these two events have to correlate. Simply that you will find a way to get them back, and that they will be free upon MC's return. It never says that you have to be the reason behind MC's return." Azul snatched the contract out of Barbtos's hands, flipping through the pages. "Clauses 3B and 3C." He smiled as he listed the clauses.
Both of you watched as Azul read the entire contract at least six times over, his eye twitched more and more every time he read it over. He was getting more and more upset as he realized that his usually infallible contracts had been foiled in less than ten minutes without any bargaining or force, simply by someone who was smarter than him. It was honestly rather satisfying to watch, and Barbatos was smug as hell about it.
You watched as he sighed, defeated, and stood up from his chair. You and Barbatos shared a look, and Barbatos winked at you. You laughed as you trailed after Azul as he left the room. Azul walked fast than you, approaching your friends.
"Trappola, Spade, Grim, off the floor. Your contracts have ended." Azul reported.
"Ended?" Ace asked.
"Does that mean...." Deuce trailed off.
"You're welcome." You laughed, waving at them from the sidelines.
"MC!" Grim yelled, jumping on peoples heads to get to you.
You caught him as he jumped into your arms, laughing at the familiar weight as he nuzzled into you. You held him tightly, as the other two rushed over and hugged you tightly. Their anemone's disappeared, and Barbatos stood close by, happily observing your heartfelt reunion. Soon the three of you parted.
"Hold him, please." You gently requested of Barbatos, handing Grim to him, to which he obliged, holding the cat-like creature carefully. "As for you two." You scolded, grabbing Ace and Deuce's ears. "What were you thinking? Azul! Really! That was an awful idea!"
"It was a risk we had to take, and it worked, didn't it! You're here!" Ace tried to defend.
"Yeah, no thanks to Azul." You let them go. "It was Barbatos, and several others that had a hand in doing that from the other side, not Azul."
"Then how are we free?" Deuce asked. "I doubt Azul would've let us go without him getting you here."
"Barbatos." You gestured to your friend. "He found a loophole in your contracts." You took Grim back from him. "You should really thank him." You glared at the two.
"Thank you." All three of them chorused. Barbatos laughed.
"It's really, no trouble at all."
Simeon:
You had a hunch that Grim would end up in Heartslabyul, so that's where you went first. What you did not expect to find was Riddle and Azul about to lose their minds as they tried to help Kalim study. You sympathized with their frustration, you too, had tried to tutor Kalim once upon a time, only achieving minor success in that he passed the test, but not by a very large margin.
"Umm." You mumbled, looking over at the table. "So... maybe time for a break?"
"MC!" Kalim exclaimed, the first to notice your presence despite you having spoken, the other two being too stressed to notice.
He got up from the table, rushing over and squeezing you into an insanely tight hold. You wheezed at his grip, but hugged him back nonetheless. He was beaming as he let you go, starting to pull out his phone. Knowing he was about to call Jamil, and also knowing Jamil does not get enough breaks, you quickly stopped him.
"This is Simeon." You introduced quickly. "He attends my new school."
"Oh! Hi, I'm Kalim al Asim! I'm the Housewarden of Scarabia." Kalim introduced, bright smile on his face.
"You two alive back there?" You called gently.
"I fear, I've had more luck tutoring Ace and Deuce." Riddle mumbled.
"Yeah, definitely time for a break." You hummed, looking towards the two. "Kalim, do you happen to know where Grim is?"
"He's with the other first years running an errand for Trey." Kalim explained cheerfully.
"Yes, he should be back soon." Azul reported, rubbing his temples. "Maybe when he gets back he can make us some tea."
"Herbal tea, to be drank in the evenings." Riddle agreed quietly, looking exhausted.
"Are they usually like this?" Simeon whispered to you as Kalim went back to the table, starting to chat with the other two housewardens.
"Tutoring Kalim is more work than keeping Mammon from going gambling." You whispered back. "And I've done both." Simeon winced in sympathy. "What's the subject you're studying, Kalim?"
"They're helping me with language arts."
"Isn't that a middle school and elementary course?" Simeon wondered.
"Simeon can help!" You volunteered.
"I can?"
"He can?" Azul and Riddle looked hopeful.
"He can." You agreed, before looking at Simeon. "Come on, Simeon, you're amazing at the subject, you're a writer!" You tried to persuade. "Please? Grim will be back soon anyway."
"Alright." He sighed.
"Great! I'll make tea." You volunteered.
"Herbal tea." Riddle called after you as started towards the door.
"Yep! The only tea you may drink in the evenings is herbal tea, rule 153." You recited, winking at Riddle, before venturing towards the kitchen.
Trey wasn't in the kitchen, so you were able to boil the water, and start the brewing process without anyone interrupting. You brought the teapot, and necessary teacups in a few different trips, not wanting to break anything, and allowing the tea ample time to steep in the pot, as Simeon endeavored to tutor Kalim.
You didn't talk as you poured tea for all three Housewardens, yourself, and Simeon, allowing them to add sugar or whatever they wanted to the tea themselves, as you sat at the table. Simeon, ever patient, was actually doing rather well at tutoring Kalim, though you did notice that he was uses the same method he uses when teaching Luke something. Strict and firm, and not giving him the answer at all. Simeon's great, and you do study together, but most of the time Satan tutors you in the stuff you don't know.
You sat at the table, witnessing the interaction as the other two decompressed. You felt their pain, allowing them to sit in silence, knowing how much of a job it can be to tutor Kalim. The boy means well, truly, but it can be rather difficult to teach him. Kalim is sweet, but hard to teach. But everyone has their flaws.
"Look who I found." A familiar voice called as the doors burst open and your friends fell through the door. Jamil stood over them, glaring at them.
"What have they done now?" Riddle sighed.
"Nothing really, but, I would appreciate it if they wouldn't run rampant in Scarabia when I'm not there." Jamil sighed. "Is that tea?"
"It is." You concurred, raising your teacup to him.
"MC!" Your friends exclaimed at the sound of your voice.
They were all tangled, but Grim, the smallest of the bunch, got free first, and lunged for you. You managed to set your cup down in time to catch the feline, laughing as you did. You hugged him tight as he nuzzled into you.
It didn't take your friends long to untangle their limbs, and once they did, they lunged for you as well, though you had stood up by then to prevent them from knocking into the table. Your heartfelt reunion, however, was interrupted by Kalim asking a question. It was a valid question, but, and interesting question nonetheless.
"So, wait, where did you end up after you disappeared?"
"Oh, that's," You hesitated, "not... the most important thing right now."
"They ended up with a headmaster that actually treats them right." Simeon smiled in a way that looked polite to anyone else, but sent shivers down your spine. "And they're in a home that is well-taken care of, and are provided good nutritious meals at least three times a day."
"I'm safe and happy." You explained simply. "That's what matters. And, Dia says we might be able to keep the portal open on specific days! If he doesn't kill Crowley before he works out a schedule." You shrugged.
"You'll come back?" Deuce asked, nearly in tears.
"Yeah, but not as a student." You chuckled lightly. "I'm enrolled at a different school now, and it treats me really well."
"But then I won't be able to go to school here!" Grim complained, though you knew it was a veiled attempt to get you back.
"You can go to school with me. I'm sure we can work something out with the headmaster of my school." You reassured, petting his head lightly. "But I will come back as a visitor, how else am I going to keep up with the chaos of this school?" You asked, smiling at the group. "Oh! Speaking of, this is Simeon, he actually attends my school." You gestured to the angel.
"He's a good tutor! Does he teach you?" Kalim asked, smiling.
"He does not, I have a different tutor. But we do study together sometimes." You smiled back.
Solomon:
"You simply must meet Crewel." You demanded as you marched through the school, Solomon on your heels.
"And your cat?"
"It's his alchemy period anyway." You shrugged. "Two birds, one stone."
"Efficient." He agreed.
"Exactly!" You beamed.
You both made your way from the room in which the Dark Mirror is kept, through the school, towards Crewels classroom. The fond memories of this place, made you smile, but you both knew to be cautious. You never know where Crowley might pop up, and you'd rather not run into him with Solomon.
Solomon tends to be rather protective. While you appreciate it, and you're actually rather thankful for that protective streak most of the time. But, you'd rather not have him go on a rampage because of your previous mistreatment while he's here, he can be rather scary when he's angry. Not that he's ever been extraordinarily angry with you, but you've witnessed his anger directed at other people, and you're still hesitant to anger him.
That being said, he is patient a good majority of the time. You like to say it's a sign of his age, he likes to tell you to shut up about it because he doesn't need to hear that from someone several centuries younger than him. The interaction is one that happens often, and always makes you laugh, which is why he always says the exact same thing.
Despite not wanting him to go on a rampage, you were rather happy that he was here. His presence is soothing, and, it also means that if Crowley pops up, you won't have to worry so much.
You knocked on the door to the alchemy classroom, waiting patiently for a response. You got an exasperated sigh, and, you're sure, many quiet relieved ones based on the tone.
"What?" You opened the door with a smile on your face.
"I thought I'd stop by to pick up my trouble-making cat." You teased.
"MC!" Grim, Ace, and Deuce yelled.
"Pup." You almost didn't hear Crewel, but you did, despite him being behind his desk, and you at the top of the stairs.
Grim reached you first, not caring about ruining peoples work, or jumping on their heads, crashing into your torso face first, and gripping at you with his paws. You laughed, hugging him back just as tightly. But, to your surprise, it wasn't Ace and Deuce that made it to you after that, it was Crewel.
Crewel had raced up the stairs, quickly grabbing your face as if to examine it for injury or sign of distress. You just smiled at him. He squashed both you and Grim into a hug, though you didn't really mind, missing the hugs of one of your favorite professors. Once he let the two of you go, he started prodding at you, looking over your arms, and your clothes, as if making sure that now you were being taken care of, you had the good stuff, not just the basics.
Once he had determined that you were in good condition, with good enough resources, he did what any father figure does when worried out of their mind about their child figure. He scolded you.
"Where did you go! Why didn't you call! You just disappeared, no notice, no one was told anything, just up and vanished!"
"That wasn't actually my fault." You tried to explain.
"And then you just show up, looking healthier than you ever did here, with a man whom I have never met or seen,"
"That's Solomon." You interrupted, but were ignored.
"And you just expect me to not question everything!"
"Actually, I expected you to question everything, but that's besides the point." You sighed. "Professor Crewel, this is Solomon, he's one of the people I go to school with now. He is a very successful sorcerer, one of the best in the world, certainly the greatest human sorcerer." You introduced, smiling. "Solomon, this is Professor Crewel."
"I gathered that." He smiled.
"And this is Grim. These two idiots are Ace, and Deuce." You explained as the two quickly hugged you tightly. "I wanted you two to meet, I thought,"
"I came as quick as I heard!" You flinched, violently, at the new, loud, and excited voice. One you'd come to loathe, and would haunt your nightmares. "My student returned! And I'd be oh so kind, as to let you re-enroll! You can step right back into your duties."
"Crowley." You glared. "I am no longer your student. I attend the Royal Academy of Diavolo now. And I will not be returning to Night Raven as a student."
Your hands shook slightly, but you knew that you'd be ok. If he laid a hand on you, that'd basically be declaring war with the Seven Deadly Sins, all of whom are rather protective, and powerful. And he wouldn't want that.
"Ah, so this is Crowley." Ah yes. The powerful sorcerer you brought with you that has a vendetta against your former headmaster. How could you forget.
"Solomon." You said in a warning tone, though you knew he felt no actual obligation to heed your warning.
"Yes, I can work with this."
"Don't do anything that may get us in trouble, Solomon." You sighed, giving up trying to actually prevent him from doing anything. "Diavolo and Lucifer both asked us to be diplomatic. And you know how disappointed Luke would be if you solved this issue with violence."
"No violence necessary." He smiled at you.
"Or if you solved this issue with illegal means." He hummed thoughtfully.
"Illegal here, or illegal in the Devildom?"
"Well, let's see." You sighed, but actually considered it. "Preferably both, but we'll go with here since we're here right now."
"I can do both."
"Transformation potions are illegal in Twisted Wonderland." You scolded lightly when you saw him reach for a vial in his cloak.
"Ah darn. And here I was hoping to test out the new potion Satan recommended me."
"Is this normal?" Ace stage-whispered.
"Unfortunately, yes." You hummed, petting Grim on the head. "But, that being said, Solomon isn't going to kill Crowley."
"He's not?" Deuce asked, almost incredulously as he glanced between the wicked smile on Solomon's face, and you.
"Well," You shrugged, "not yet, at least. There's still the line."
"Line?" Crewel raised an eyebrow, gently tugging you away from the sorcerer that looked like he was about to use the Geneva Conventions as a checklist.
"Yes, the line." You sighed.
"What line?" Ace asked.
"The line of," You looked up at Solomon, recognizing the spell he was starting, "Ooh! If you're using that spell can you go on theme? Then afterwards we can give the result to Mammon, he can always use more familiars."
"Good point." Solomon agreed, adjusting the spell slightly.
"The line?" Crewel prompted.
"The line of people who wish to beat Crowley to a bloody pulp. See, my new friends are rather.... protective.... and powerful. They were not very happy when I explained the circumstances of my enrollment here, and the conditions I was living in."
"More powerful than Solomon."
"Mmm. I think that depends on who you ask. Personally, I think they're all surprisingly equal in terms of power and experience. But, if you ask any of them, you may get a different answer. Watch this."
You tugged on Crewel's sleeve as you watched Solomon shoot the spell with precision at the Headmaster who had finally realized he was in danger. It hit him dead on. And in a puff of black feathers, Dire Crowley no longer stood before Solomon, but a slightly larger than average crow did.
"Solomon is adept in almost all forms of magic. Transformation magic is just a personal favorite of mine that he does. I think it's cool." You smiled as Solomon picked up the crow and turned to you. You laughed, seeing that it had a top hat resting atop its head. "I wanted to introduce him to you." You looked to Crewel. "I think you both would learn a lot from each other." He smiled at you fondly, neither agreeing or disagreeing.
Luke: STRICTLY PLATONIC
"An Un-Birthday Party? What's an Un-Birthday Party?" Luke asked as you patted some rose petals off his shoulder. You were crouched down in front of him, fussing lightly over his outfit.
"An Un-Birthday Party is a birthday party that takes place when it is no ones birthday." You explained, slightly straightening his hat.
"Ok, that sort of makes sense. But why did that, terrified looking, student say it was special."
"Apparently," you sighed, standing up, "Riddle has realized that this day happens to be a day in which no one in any dorm has a birthday, and so he's invited all the dorms, sort of like an Ultimate Un-Birthday Party. It's chaotic. I don't know why he did this. But he's doing it. So, I guess this means you get to meet everyone at once." You shrugged.
"This sounds, like it'd be hard for one person to handle."
"Which is why I'm sure most of the Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens will be doing their best to ensure everything is running smoothly."
"Most?"
"Well," You laughed lightly, "Leona's never been too reliable with wrangling his dorm members unless provoked to do so. And listen to me," You knelt down again, "do not, under any circumstance, eat any of the food Lilia prepared. Or Floyd. You can never tell what his cooking is going to be good because his mood is so unpredictable." You warned. He nodded, as if you've given him a life-or-death mission. Which in a way, you kind of had. "But, most of the food here will be good, so don't worry too much." You smiled, standing up once again. "Alright, onward. Take my hand, I don't want you to get lost in the crowd." He nodded, grabbing your hand.
Most of the people in the crowd were people who didn't recognize you. Though you did know a lot of people at Night Raven, there were so many more people you didn't because the school is huge. Therefore, it was easy to slip through the crowd without a commotion erupting which would draw attention. Luke was good at staying close, which was a relief, because he could so easily be swept away with how many people are here. And then you'd never hear the end of it from Solomon.
"Do I spy a Shrimpy?" You stiffened at the familiar voice.
"Faster, faster." You whispered to Luke, speeding up the pace, starting to drag the poor boy along. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." You started quietly apologizing repeatedly as you realized that you were just dragging him along with you. But he picked up the pace to avoid being dragged behind you.
You finally exited the crowd, both of you panting from how fast you were both going, and from how difficult navigating the crowd was. You and him laughed lightly at the absurdity of the situation.
"You two look like you could use something to eat." You beamed up at the familiar voice.
"Trey!" You smiled. "It's good to see you!" You stood up, hugging the man who was holding a tray of cookies.
"This is Trey?" Luke asked excitedly.
"The one and only." You smiled back at Luke, letting Trey go. "Trey this is Luke, he's like my adoptive son/younger brother." You explained. "And he's a really good baker. Might even give you a run for your money."
"That so?" Trey asked, smiling at Luke. "I'd love to see what you can do one of these days." He winked, gently patted Luke's head through his hat.
"Is Grim around here?"
"Last I saw, he was with Kalim, and both him and Kalim were being scolded by Riddle and Jamil."
"Really? Ace and Deuce had nothing to do with that?"
"Not as far as I'm aware. They've been on their best behavior. Riddle finds it suspicious."
"As do I." You narrowed your eyes slightly, glancing around for them. "Well, if you see them, send the my way, I would love to see them." You smiled at Trey. "And while I'm sure you two would be able to talk for hours and hours about baking, we have to get Grim before that can happen."
"I can take you to them, it's easier to get through the crowd with a Housewarden or a Vice-Housewarden." Trey offered.
"If you wouldn't mind, that'd be great."
Trey smiled, before leading you, and Luke, through the massive crowd of people and towards where Riddle, Grim, Jamil, and Kalim were. And, true to his word, Riddle and Jamil were scolding Kalim and Grim, who were kneeling before them, looking guilty and regretful.
You decided that you really didn't want to know hat they had done to anger both of them, and earn a scolding in the middle of an Unbirthday Party.
Instead, you walked through the two, and grabbed Grim off the ground, spinning him around in a circle as you held him tight. He struggled for a bit before recognizing you, and letting you hold him, him squeezing you back. You did, however, quickly apologize to Riddle for stealing him away, but he was in an intense staring contest with Luke, and did not acknowledge your statement.
"How old are you?" Riddle asked suspiciously.
"Older than you might think." You answered in Luke's stead. "Which, reminds me not to let you meet Lucifer." You mumbled, fearing how that interaction would end. "Riddle, this is Luke. Luke, this is Riddle, the Housewarden of Heartslabyul." You introduced. "You've probably figured out that this is Grim. And this," You smiled as you approached, standing beside Jamil, "is Jamil."
"I got to meet Trey and Jamil in one day?" He questioned excitedly, knowing of the tales of their food from you.
"And also Kalim. He's the Housewarden of Scarabia" You pointed to the boy who was still kneeling behind you.
"I have so many questions for you." Luke looked up at Jamil and Trey with wonder in his eyes.
"Yeah, sorry about that." You laughed lightly, petting Grim's head. "I told Luke about your cooking and baking skills, and he loves to do both, so he's been really excited about meeting you both." You told the two Vice-Housewardens.
"Can you teach me about the spices you use in your cooking? I really want to try to recreate the curry MC said you made them." Luke looked up at Jamil.
"He's not... like Lilia, is he? Or Kalim?"
"No. No! Goodness no. He's had to suffer through someone who cooks the same way Lilia does, trust me, Luke is much, much better than Lilia. And Kalim. No offense, Kalim." You said as you helped him up with one hand, as Grim is still clinging to you, so you were holding him with the other.
"None taken. I may try, but I'm not a very good cook." He admitted, smiling. "It's good to see you again, MC." Kalim gave you a tight hug, before Grim yowled.
"You're crushing me! You're crushing me!" He yelled.
"Sorry!" Both you and Kalim exclaimed, parting as Grim climbed your shirt, rounding your shoulders, laying across them.
"This kid, this kid is my new favorite." Jamil concluded.
It almost shocked you, Jamil doesn't really have favorites, he tends to resent everyone equally, but it's Luke, and most people can't resist the young angels puppy-dog eyes and wonder. He's won Mammon over and some of the other demons as well. You're decently sure his puppy dog eyes could solve most conflicts, but you don't want to risk Luke's safety in order to prove that theory.
"I will teach you, everything." Jamil promised Luke, who beamed in response.
"And I'll teach you some stuff too, kid. Though from what I hear you could give me a run for my money already." Trey laughed, patting his head.
"Success!" You turned at the familiar voice of Epel Felmier behind you. "I knew Rook being my Vice-Housewarden would come in handy!" He laughed triumphantly. "Take that Ace!" Epel ran over and gave you a quick hug.
"It's good to see you too Epel." You smiled.
"Ace owes me twenty Thaumarks." Epel smirked wickedly.
"MC." Luke whispered, walking over and tugging on your shirt. You leaned closer to him so he could whisper into your ear. "I'm taller than some of the people here." He smiled. "It's nice to be tall for once."
You tried, and failed, not to start laughing at his statement, knowing that he was right, but it was still funny, and you kind of felt bad for that. Especially because both Epel and Riddle were giving you confused looks.

Heyyyyy how are you? Hope you're doing well and taking care of yourself. How is medical school hope you're doing good. So I was thinking about the grid kids series and a scenario appeared in my head. So basically the baby still a toddler say a swear word and when asked who taught her that she just tell she heard that from Yuki, but in reality it was the grid kids that braided her with candy. It's just so funny to me
Grid Kids: Potty Mouth
Sebastian Vettel x wife!Reader x platonic!drivers
Summary: the grid kids help expand their sister’s vocabulary in interesting ways
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
It’s a lazy Saturday morning and you’re making breakfast. Your toddler daughter is happily perched on Sebastian’s lap at the kitchen island, babbling about anything and everything while he nods along seriously.
The grid kids lounge around, still half-asleep. Game night ran late, fueled by one too many Red Bulls and everyone’s chronic competitiveness.
Charles yawns loudly. “I don’t know how she has so much energy already.”
“Right?” Lando grumbles. “It should be illegal to be awake before 10 am on weekends.”
Max stumbles to the coffee maker, nearly tripping over George who’s fallen back asleep on the floor. Mick and Lance are slumped together on the couch, bleary-eyes barely open.
As you finish cooking, you turn to your daughter. “Okay sweetie, breakfast is ready!”
She grins, kicking her little legs excitedly. As Sebastian goes to lift her into the highchair, she suddenly shrieks “FUCK!”
A stunned silence descends on the room. Eight heads swivel towards the little girl, eyes wide. Sebastian and you exchange horrified looks.
“Where did you learn that word?” You ask gently.
She blinks up at you innocently. “Yuki said it!”
The grid kids practically dive over each other to appear shocked and appalled.
“Yuki? Using language like that?” George exclaims.
“How disgraceful!” Max adds. “We’ll be having a stern talking to with him about this.”
You raise an eyebrow at them.
Something seems … off.
Sebastian kneels to your daughter’s level. “Honigbienchen, are you sure Yuki said that? Not one of your brothers?”
She nods vigorously. “Yuki said it when we were playing race cars!”
The boys subtly sigh in relief.
Crisis averted.
Or so they think.
“You know, I don’t recall Yuki having a chance to play with you recently,” you say slowly.
A tense pause.
Sideways glances are exchanged.
The grid kids develop a sudden fascination with the ceiling.
“Alright boys, enough playing dumb. Who taught her the swear word?” Sebastian asks, his Dad Voice™ making them squirm.
“It was Max!”
“It was Charles!”
“It was Lando!”
“It was Lance!”
“It was George!”
“It was Mick!”
They all exclaim in unison, pointing fingers.
A fierce blame game erupts as their bickering intensifies to chaos.
“Enough!” You shout over the noise.
The six drivers fall silent, heads hanging guiltily.
You sigh, lifting your daughter into her highchair. “We’re very disappointed in all of you. You know she’s at the stage where she repeats everything she hears.”
“We’re sorry,” Mick says quietly. “We should have been more responsible.” The others nod, mumbling apologies.
“And we’re sorry we made you say it was Yuki, munchkin,” Lance adds. “We just didn’t want Mom and Dad to be mad at us.”
Sebastian shakes his head. “Lying makes it worse. But we know you didn’t mean any harm.”
“Tell you what,” you offer. “Whoever teaches her the most educational words this week is forgiven. Good, clean words only!”
The boys’ faces light up. Charles grabs a notepad and they huddle together, beginning to strategize.
You can’t help but smile.
Crisis averted.
***
What follows is a week of mayhem.
“Look Lando, it’s an AARDVARK!” George points excitedly at a cartoon aardvark in a book. “Aardvark starts with A!”
Lando nods seriously. “Aardvark. Aaaaardvark.”
Your daughter claps her little hands. “Aawdvawk!”
The boys high-five. One point for them.
Later, Max drives his toy model RB22 towards her. “Vroom vroom! This is a race car! It has DRS. Can you say drag reduction system?”
She scrunches her nose. “Dwag wedection system!”
“Nice one!” Lance whispers. Max grins, ruffling your daughter’s hair smugly.
At dinner, Charles scans his food. “Mmm, broccoli! This is BROCCOLI!” He holds up a roasted floret. “Can you try and say it?”
“Bwock-lee!” Your daughter squeals through a mouthful of the vegetable. Charles pumps his fist.
Mick doesn’t waste time and pulls out a small globe as soon as she finishes eating, pointing at a certain country. “Look! It’s Germany! That’s where Papa and I come from. Can you say Germany?”
Your daughter scrunches her face in concentration. “Ger...mummy?”
Mick chuckles, “Close enough!”
Sebastian winks at you with a smirk, “Well Mummy sure did conquer Germany, didn’t she?”
You playfully raise an eyebrow, “If by Germany you mean one particularly sexy German driver, then yes, I guess I did.” The grid kids pretend to gag.
Too bad. You’ll take the payback any way you can.
This continues for days. Meal times become vocabulary lessons, walks around the house are accompanied by exaggerated pointing at objects. Books are read with ridiculous enthusiasm, animal noises amplified.
You and Sebastian exchange amused looks as the boys vie for your daughter’s attention, each hoping to teach her the most complex word or phrase. Their efforts have become less about earning forgiveness and more about one-upping each other.
By the end of the week, her vocabulary has expanded exponentially. The boys even taught themselves some new words in the process.
As the boys argue over who should be declared the winner during dinner the following Saturday, Sebastian whistles loudly. “Enough! You all went above and beyond this week with her.”
You smile. “You’re all forgiven. And I think we can thank you for increasing her word bank more in a week than months of normal teaching.”
They cheer, exchanging pleased grins.
You lean down to your daughter’s level. “Now, can we agree no more bad words?”
She nods seriously. “No fuck!”
The room descends into chaos once again.
***
It’s race day and the paddock is hectic as usual. You and Sebastian finally relented and brought your daughter along after weeks of nonstop begging from the grid kids to have their sister on the sideline cheering for them.
As you walk through the pit lane, she squeals and points. “Max! Lando! Chawles! Lance! Mick! Geowge!”
The boys grin, waving enthusiastically as they rush to crowd around her, cooing over how big she’s gotten in the few days they haven’t seen her while she giggles and soaks up the attention.
Nearby, Yuki is chatting with his trainer. Your daughter tugs Sebastian’s hand and skips over to him. “Yuki! Hi Yuki!”
Yuki turns, smiling. “Hi, o-joh-chan! Excited for the race?”
She nods, pigtails bouncing. As Yuki leans down to chat with her, a two-way radio falls off a passing golf cart, narrowly missing his foot.
“Ah shit!” He exclaims before freezing. Your daughter’s eyes go wide. The grid kids stiffen, bracing themselves.
Yuki stares at you and Sebastian in horror, realizing his mistake. “Oops! Uh, I mean ... shoot!”
But it’s too late. A devilish grin spreads across your daughter’s face.
This is her moment.
“SHIT!” She shouts gleefully.
Yuki turns bright red as laughter erupts around him. “I am so sorry!” He sputters. “I didn’t mean to—”
Sebastian just chuckles, patting his shoulder. “Don’t worry, we know it was an accident.”
Your daughter is thrilled with this new word she can very clearly enunciate. She spots two team principals across the paddock.
“Chwistian! Shit!” She yells. “Toto! Shiiit!”
Christian trips over his own feet. Toto turns an alarming shade of splotchy red but can’t help laughing. You and Sebastian hurry over, trying to shush her excited swearing.
The grid kids are crying with laughter. Charles is wheezing. “This is even better than I imagined!”
Max high-fives your daughter. “That’s my girl! You tell them!”
You shoot him a warning look and he gives you an innocent grin. Sebastian scoops up your still-cursing daughter, bouncing her gently. “Alright sweetie, I think that’s enough for today.”
Her lip wobbles. “But it’s fun, Papa.”
The boys are zero help, doubled over cackling. Yuki still looks mortified.
Sebastian kisses your daughter’s forehead, stifling a grin. “I know but let’s keep the excitement PG for now, okay? You can say those words when you’re a grown up too.”
You take her little hand, ready to steer her away before she can scar any more eardrums. As you walk off, she peeks over Sebastian’s shoulder and yells one last farewell.
“Bye Yuki! SHIIIT!”
