#plotline for a hypothetical season 2

I feel like it’s like. a ridiculously huge plot hole that not a single person in the group questioned what the fuck happened to niko in the finale. like. they automatically jump to “she moved on to her afterlife” when that makes zero sense and is literally impossible from what they saw happen in front of them. you’re telling me the boys who have been running from death for 30 years wouldn’t instinctually feel a pang of panic knowing that she should be showing up any minute to collect niko. and they wouldn’t notice that, for some reason, she doesn’t. not a single person questioned why they never saw niko as a ghost. esther even says something like “so what, you’ll just have another ghost friend” like it was POINTED OUT and no one thought a damn thing even when they’re all craned over her body and sobbing. even when they’re going through her apartment and packing her things. it wouldn’t occur to anyone? was whoever wrote this part half asleep or in a huge hurry to get the script done or something because it’s possibly the most egregious plot hole in the entire show
#sorry this has been bothering me alot like ive tried to come up with some kind of reasoning but i cant#it’s just a really stupid narrative fuckup and/or half-assed way of making Niko’s situation more suspenseful and set up that#plotline for a hypothetical season 2#which like. isn’t a good reason. if you have to break continuity and break character and ignore the obvious in order to set up your next#plotline or avoid revealing too much of that plotline too early– that’s just bad writing. there’s plenty of ways around it but.#this is what they went with. I guess#love this show with all my heart but boy this was bad#rambling#dead boy detectives#dead boy detectives spoilers#niko#niko sasaki

The more I rethink Mel's arc which Amanda said was the best arc, the more I feel it encapsulates all the issues of Season 2.
Yes, I think Mel's arc is one of the most coherent with setup at end of Season 1 and end at Season 2. It's bittersweet but good.
But then I think how we got there and there are glaring problems:
- contrived way of being removed from the plot - the abduction by Black rose, Mel is now not a character influencing the plot, not even having opinion on the events of the plot - she will be in Black rose limbo until plot needs her to respawn in plot required place to get her 3 step resolution of the arc. This happens to Jayce, Ekko and Viktor too.
- over the top shocking cliffhanger that feels like something interesting is coming but in hindsight are just for cheap tension - so when Mel is abducted, it spawns speculation of what are Black Rose's intentions, I thought it was building towards something BUT it just segways into clips of exposition of her powers, of the Doomsday coming to piltover and of her mother's history. They abduct this poor woman for months on end to give us exposition. The same happens with Jayce shooting Viktor. We do not understand these actions, they just seem soo final and shocking and leading into something great. I would like to compare it to finale of S1 which is more shocking with Jinx's rocket yet we understand everything about it.
- making things emotional but in hindsight in a cheap way - so, remember when Black Rose kills Elora, Mel's friend? The emotions! The shock, right? BUT Why do they do it? Please, why would an organization that wants Mel to join them kill off her friend? What's the point of it aside for Mel to be sad? Elora actually got off well, she at least has a dialogue about her death unlike Isha or Vander or Jinx or Vander 2.0. If you compare these deaths to how logical deaths of Marcus or Finn were.
- inefficient storytelling - we get black rose scenes but they're just exposition that never flows into the main story. Never influences it. Contrary it makes the whole story worse, because now Black rose abducted Mel for months to tell her she needs to figure out how to avert the Doomsday. So months on end this organization just waited for her to solve the wall puzzle instead of trying to locate and assassinate the threat in Viktor, or influence Piltover politics to throw out Ambessa. This is cartoon logic.
- impossible to resolve conflicts - this is more on Ambessa' writing, because in ep. 8 she goes like this: Mel, it's not enough you'd join me to avenge Kino, we now have this weapon in you and this nice old chemist is lending me a hand making more weapons BUT it's impossible for me to change plans, because to stick it to Black Rose and mages in noxus as magic is unfair, I'm making this new army with the help of this nice mage I just found in the rubble. This army is also exclusively puppeteer by him. This is cartoon logic of a bad guy, not a human.
- keeping conflicts simple by keeping characters apart until 2 scenes before finale - this is hypothetical so please friends be nice, what if instead of Black rose abduction plotline the whole exposition part of it went like this: Black rose possesed Amara asks Mel to help her get introduction to her mother. Mel and Amara meet Ambessa, where Black rose reveals herself like in original scene and delivers the exposition about Mel's origins and Kino's fate. All the while changing faces between Amara, the Ionia princess and Kino to the horror of all involved. Then Mel's powers awaken like in the puzzle wall scene. Idk if that'd be better but it'd be more efficient and would keep Mel in Piltover. One scene instead of several, leaving Mel and Ambessa more time for an arc build up. Also Elora lives. Anyway, that's my stab at it while chilling and listening to 60 y/o lady showing off her spoon collection in an asmr. It's a very nice asmr.
- symbolism as character development - so when Black Rose gives Mel the Ionian processes necklace I felt really good, it felt as if Mel is finally carving her identity as Medarda from Medarda family history. But then it hit me, we don't know what she thinks of it, we don't know why she goes back to noxus on the ship, we know nothing of ot in her words. It's symbolism. Not as bad as Jayce having his whole character development this season conveyed in symbolism by role playing as Bear Grylls in Apocalypse survivor man, but it feels cheap anyway to not write character just use symbolism.
Anyway, those are my gripes and apparently this is the best arc of this show.

Ok so I saw a thing of one of the writers saying Logan is adopted by his moms, so ofc I have to talk about my Lunia theory.
So, two possibilities I’m seeing here:
1. Logan is indeed adopted and not biologically related to either of his moms.
Or
2. This statement is inaccurate to canon and will be later contradicted by the show- maybe it was the consensus in the writer’s room at the time but was/will be later changed in the show itself.
If #2, my theory stands as I originally posted it: Logan is biologically related to one of his moms (possibly an IVF baby idk), and said mom is Lunia.
If #1, I’ve got some thoughts.
So, if Logan isn’t biologically related to either of his moms, that would mean he somehow ended up either in the foster system or a closed adoption when he was young (how young would be unclear currently, since Logan hasn’t exactly stated who his biological mom is, regardless of identity). My current thought on that is that Lunia losing her memory of the Dream World (in 2005) snowballed into larger issues with her memory later on after having Logan (probably around 2010, biological father unclear and probably irrelevant, could’ve been a sperm donor for all we know) leaving her unfit to care for him and forcing her to give him up for adoption so he’d have a life with people who can properly care for him.
Given the plotlines with Zoey and Mateo’s respective families last season, I don’t think tackling the subject of adoption would be out of the question for Dreamzzz. There’s a lot up in the air if Logan is indeed adopted (such as if he knows the identity of his biological parents if he’s met them, how old he was when he was adopted and ergo if he remembers any of it, etc.), but I wouldn’t be surprised if a hypothetical plotline handling Logan meeting his biological mother (Lunia) after wanting to know more about her. Could be interesting to see the show tackle and a neat way to introduce Lunia into the plot (if my theory is correct there).
But this is all speculation if the adoption route is the one the show’s going for, nothing is definitive currently and the word of a writer online long before any of these possibilities are even teased in the show isn’t concrete by any stretch of the imagination.

WarioWare: Watch It!
Had an idea for a hypothetical cartoon where we follow Wario and his friends on their misadventures in Diamond City and beyond. It'd be mostly episodic, though each season would have a couple plotlines happening mostly in the background, and ideally there'd be four seasons.
Season 1
Mainly serves as an introduction to the cast and their weird and wacky lives. The main plot in the first half is the crew working on their latest game, and then midway through it comes out and turns out to be a big hit! So big that the fame (and revenue) starts going to Wario's head and making him act more...Wario-ish. By the end he'll have to decide once and for all what he really cares about the most... hopefully before he takes things too far and finally pushes everyone away for good.
Season 2
Season 1 focused pretty much exclusively on Diamon City and other WarioWare settings, with the greater Mario world being limited to background characters that happened to be species from other games, cameos in advertisements and 9-Volt's games and the like, and occasional mentions of Wario's out-of-town friends (Mario's name in particular isn't heard at all the whole time).
Well, in Season 2 that all changes, with the goings-on of Diamond City and the Mushroom Kingdom overlapping more and more as time goes on. This is partially spurred by Waluigi being in town for a while for reasons I haven't thought of yet, leading to the reveal (at least, a reveal to the audience and a few of the newer WarioWare employees. Most of the crew already knows) that Dr. Crygor and Waluigi are semi-estranged father and son. And unfortunately, them living in such close proximity to one another is stirring up some long-unresolved tension, even with Penny, the bots, Wario and the rest of the crew trying their best to mediate.
Speaking of family drama, there's another storyline to contend with, one revolving around the mystery of who, and where, exactly Ashley's parents are. And unfortunately, the pieces of the puzzle that everyone's been putting together don't paint a pretty picture.
Oh, they're not dead or anything.
That would be too easy.
Wario Land...Ware (Season 3)
The odd season out that goes almost fully serialized for a while.
While on yet another one of his treasure-hunting trips, Wario (accompanied by Mona) comes across a map to a legendary treasure. Captain Syrup unfortunately manages to swoop in and steal it from him, hoping to have the treasure all to herself. Fortunately, Mona managed to take a picture of the map before Syrup showed up, just in case, so it'll be a race to see who gets there first. The two of them head back to Diamond City to get ready and end up recruiting the rest of WarioWare Inc. for a globetrotting adventure!
But Wario and Syrup aren't the only ones after the treasure, and there may be sinister forces at work in the background...
Season 4
A return to form, re-focusing on the Crew living their lives in Diamond City. Though, there's an undercurrent of anxiety, as there are forces, and bureaucratic forces at that, which seek to destroy WarioWare Inc. by any means necessary.
Even if it means completely ruining the lives of its employees.
#warioware#warioware watch it#show idea#wario#waluigi#dr crygor#penny crygor#ashley warioware#mona warioware#captain syrup#why yes season 2 IS heavily reliant on my headcanons how did you know#wario land#super mario#if i ever make this an actual story yall are gonna hate ashley's parents

Regarding the anon's question about Hazbin getting rebooted in the future and hoping someone does... that's actually one of my personal goals.
Eventually. A few decades down the line when a reboot becomes feasible, plus after I hopefully launch one of the three main series I'm working on pitching (one of which is Hazbin-inspired, the other two drawing elements from other things I love).
Can't say for sure if it will ever come to that point, but in the hypothetical scenario that it ever does get to that point I have a few plans I'm swearing by if that does happen in the future:
Get as many of the original pilot cast as possible, providing they want to be part of the reboot and can still do the voices. If for some reason studio heads deem I can only pick two from the original pilot, Michael and Ed. If for some reason only one, Ed at the bare minimum and I will fight tooth-and-nail for that.
Make sure every character talks differently. Of the main cast, limit the swears to Husk and Angel as regular parts of their vernacular (Husk moreso than Angel, Angel gets the sex jokes). Have Charlie swear on a few occasions but be a bit nervous when she does except when the chips are down. Have Alastor only swear when the chips are down. And give him 1920's/30's slang (mostly 20's since if I recall he died in 1933).
Give Charlie her pilot spine back.
Depending on the episode length, have 1 song per episode, except on the scant few episodes that are musical episodes in themselves (think the A Canterlot Wedding 2-parter in Friendship is Magic). And only have the songs when the characters' emotions are at the height, for good or bad.
Properly showcase the worldbuilding. Make the hierarchy and the nature of contracts clear. Give Lucifer a bit of his "powerful King of Hell" persona back. Showcase the contrast between Heaven and Hell. Make them feel like fleshed-out places.
Don't have Hell just look like LA but red. It's a place that combines sinners from all different locations, times, and backgrounds with eldritch horrors who live there. Lean into that, have fun!
Slow down the pacing. Have the redemption plotline not be rushed. Take time to get to know the characters. While it would suck if the story was cancelled due to not having later season's greenlit, it's infinitely better for a series' longevity with its fandom to have them wanting more rather than looking back at a show and thinking the pacing was incredibly rushed. Don't ruin what you can tell because you worry about what you might not be able to.
That's an awesome goal. My crusty old ass will be watching eagerly!

Jack & Joker - Special Episode Commentary Rant
(Yes, there will be spoilers)
I wanna preface this by stating that Jack & Joker absolutely was one of my favourite series in 2024. So, so, so much love for it. And this is why I'm coming here to talk about it. This being said: beware, I'm not necessarily known for being nice.
Let's go back to the moment when we learned about the special episode and saw the wedding scenes and thought: "YES OMG, THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED". Those were happy times. Because, honestly, let's face it: maybe some plots in Jack & Joker could've been even better if they'd had a little bit more time but, all in all, the series wrapped up pretty nicely.
It's true capitalism and evil rich people can't be defeated in the blink of an eye and sure Jack and Joke were still up to have some issues in their relationship bc they've got baggage, it's also true, but we didn't need to see that. We could imagine it and trust it would happen in a way that made sense to the kind of series we'd been offered.
But we could do a wedding. A wedding was fine. That was a theme the series had toyed around with but hadn't dived into yet. We'd all be happy to have a short little special about the wedding. It'd be fun.
Instead, we got this.
And look, maybe it was planned all along, after all the poker scene was explored in the damn pilot, but... Even so. Was this new plot and potential new season necessary? Do these characters need to suffer more? Are there enough lose threads that they can explore here? Is there an arc here that would be narratively fulfilling to explore?
Honestly? I don't think so.
Jack & Joker was just such a wrapped-up thing for me, considering where all the characters came from and where they ended up. I just never considered what else could be said that made sense for an entire 2nd season to exist.
Maybe I'm failling to see a bigger picture and if I am pls let me know, I'd love to be excited about these prospects but I just can't see the point of dragging this series further. It feels cheap.
And this is not to say the acting wasn't good or that the characters were off character or whatever, no. Yin and War are fantastic actors and they delivered every line to their best, every expression to their best. And Prom, Mark, Bonz, damn Victor who's a master at playing crazy, they all kept up too, they delivered, it's not at all about that. If it was about that then I could only say I'd love to see 374 more hours of this cast showcasing their skills for all of us, but...
Idk... I honestly don't feel like there's anything worth extracting from this apparent kidnap plotline as everyone thinks Joke is dead. Like... Who would have even rescued him that makes sense to do so without telling anyone? Some character we don't know? Boring. Absolutely cheap.
And it makes me mad bc I wanna trust that this hypothetical season 2 will be good as much as the next guy, like I genuinely love this series! I wanna think that this all makes sense but... For what we began to watch thinking it was a passion project, I just can't help but think they're going very cash grab about this special and this hinted at season 2.
Even the marketing tactics of showing us a wedding then making everyone at the live broadcast think Joke was actually dead dead and now revealing a cliffhanger... I can't pinpoint it but there's something about it that just rubs me wrong. Even as I understand they gotta make money in order to live, there's just something about the tricks that rubs me wrong.
Idk... Maybe I'm seeing this all incorrectly but I felt like I had to get these thoughts out, see if anyone has a different perspective or something to point out that'll make me a bit more hopeful towards where this might be going.
Anyway... Ig we can only wait and see. So let's prepare for the worst and hope for the best, I suppose.

rubs hands. boy do i have ideas for u.
qiao ling and liu xiao
lu guang and xia fei
considers. lucy and atsushi.
this is literally assassin au but ivan and till
platonic fake-dating ask game
fascinating choices i'm obsessed with them first of all— wait i had to pause and go. okay so you know how at some point i mentioned two irl friends who were at the time my only irl friends. importantly. and one of them is my ?? who confessed to me before i moved and the other is my ex (twice-over, actually, but casual enough that i mostly call him my ex for the bit). and they are best friends <3
i. okay. so.
vital info that what led to my ?? confessing to me (like. at most week before i moved iirc.) was that we were planning on faking being romcom-plotline-fwbs to my ex because it would be funny. etc. anyway do you see why i say i'm weird about having friends <3
.
(1) qiao ling + liu xiao
okay so you know what i was saying about a hypothetical where he wants to charm photo studio trio next season, and it does kind of work on qiao ling when he's playing it up like that, they get along and have a sort of playful synergy going on. i think they go out one-on-one a few times for fun and like— cxs makes some sort of exaggerated reaction to it as a joke, and— why not fakedate just to see the reactions, you know? it would be fun (lu guang is going insane in a corner). anyway liu xiao villain reveal comes while they're still fakedating and qiao ling is like. how do you even react to that. are we supposed to fake-breakup or was that implied. are we still on track for revealing it was all fake at a strategic time.
(2) lu guang + xia fei
i'm throwing this around in my head... the main thing is that i think lg hearts information withholding but he doesn't aim for genuine deception in the same way? i think maybe. hm. okay.
so he does it as a scheme to collect some friendship points because xf is being a jealous puppy over vein and does it in the exact same way he delivered a monologue to jack, overly eloquent and planned-out but also so nervous by the end that he stands and trips over himself. i think cxs knows about it but it makes him feel really weird and then he smiles and shoves that into a different box in his head and helps come up with plans for fake-dates vein can catch them on. i think vein catches on at some point but gets to be kind of murderous/upset about xf picking up a random new monogamous bf for a second <3 liu xiao thinks this is all hilarious btw.
(3) lucy + atsushi
immediate reaction this got from me is (1) free my girl she's being tormented (2) okay fine hashtag platonic atsulucy. she's still being tormented i think. tsundere baby... it's a longer-term thing and they climb onto roofs and be weird about orphanhood together and get to bond over it. i'm so fond of them etc. also kyouka is making fun of them btw. like she's not but she is being judgy at the right moments and has like... a carefully blank face that implies amusement at others. she's pulled a knife on lucy at least once about this one way or another while atsushi goes oh no :( dmg control :(
btw atsulucy should get platonic married i think. why would they do this. who knows but they should do it in some au, it would be cute i think.
(4) ivan + till
okay i'm not going to lie it's just. the thing is that they could fake-date but as per assassin au it would be so much funnier if they faked being brothers. till calls ivan hyung through gritted teeth; ivan gets hard about it wants to eat him in return; they court both incest allegations and "pretending to be related to hide their relationship" allegations. etc. (ivan recognizes this; till gets supportive statements about their community being so progressive from old women in staircases holding their groceries and tilts his head to the side and goes... okay? looking like a confused puppy)

Here’s a WIP inspired by your AU and chofass’s art.
Also inspired me to write a plotline for a hypothetical season 2 of your AU. Here it is:
This would be a fantastic plot line of a hypothetical season 2!!!
It could happen midway through season 2. At first the season could start off with the audience slowly unraveling the mystery of what exactly her deal is, why she made it, and who's holding her leash, before the reveal that Charlotte made a deal with Roo, The Root of All Evil!
The Roo would then trap her in a mirror and disguise herself as
Charlotte. So while Charlotte desperately looks for an escape the Hazbin crew have to deal with a danger they don't even know about.
So while the main story is happening, occasionally we would cut to Charlotte making her way through the mirror dimension, maybe Roo created beings to make escaping near impossible.
If we're leaning into the fractured fairytale idea we could make it Alice in Wonderland themed and have the creatures keeping Charlotte there be based off of characters from that story and Through the Looking Glass (if you really want a deep cut they could be reminiscent of Vivziepop's canceled short film, Allison).
By 3/4s into the season Charlotte's able to communicate with at least one of the Hazbin crew through reflective services, maybe it's Niff and Husker since they're more closely tied to her magically, but she can only speak to them for a short time since she's being pursued by creatures trying to keep her there.
So Niff and Husker now have to try to foil whatever Roo's scheme is by themselves and they can't warn the others since they have no proof because Charlotte can only only communicate with them shortly and infrequently, fun times!
(Also, in my mind season 2 would have like, 22 twenty minute episodes.)
Sorry if this is a lot, your AU and chofass’s art just inspired a lot of ideas in my head. Have a great day!
This is a really cool idea! I also wanted to go ahead and say that while I am taking a break from HH (and the au), I still adore any fanart/headcannons that you guys make.

i never say this, especially for a slice of life kdrama, but samdalri is really set up to have a season 2. it doesnt even have to be a full 16 episodes—12 is honestly enough, maybe even 8 or 10 :0
there is so much potential to explore the side characters, but also to show how samdal supports yongpil and his dreams when he supported her throughout this entire show (i like the idea of yongpil being like “samdal is my dream” BUT THAT IS BESIDES THE POINT LOL). there has been complaints about how it almost seems like yongpil is too in love with samdal, but in the context of the story where samdal’s career and life pretty much falls apart, it makes sense for him to be the major support in the plot to complete her character arc of finding herself again. so i think it would be really nice to see it reversed and samdal supporting him in the hypothetical second season.
that also means we get to explore the side relationships that they teased throughout the whole show. i like that we really focused on samdal and yongpil and didnt give more than necessary screentime to the side characters (as many other kdramas do and it ends up being filler that no one cares about), but it almost seems like we didnt get ENOUGH.
our favorite haedal x dolphin boy NEEDS more screentime, and i really want them to explore more of the relationship of a family unit with hayul if they end up dating. also just haedal and training to become a haenyo—i wonder why they gave us that information so late, as well as hayul wanting to be a swimmer! that is such a good plotline on its own!! because then we also get to explore the relationship of ko mija passing on her beloved career to a daughter, and i think that is super intriguing.
i know jindal and her ex are somewhat comedic relief, but they also need to have a proper resolution? because he seems to really care for her, and it would be nice seeing him become someone she can rely on and eventually fall back in love with. i’m not sure which route would be better: him leaving his rich life or him completely inheriting the company, but both have a lot of potential. i think it would have to focus more on his character development rather than jindal’s, but i don’t mind seeing how their relationship plays out because it’s such an interesting dynamic and kind of unfortunate for them the way they broke up if they really loved each other. in fact, there’s also the minor relationship between him and jindal’s dad if his own relationship with his father isn’t the greatest
and i cannot belieVEE they introduced us to gyeongtae and eunbi AN EPISODE BEFORE THE FINALE?! AND THEN DROPPING THE “it’s been twenty years since his first love” LIKE HELLO?! THE POTENTIAL?! once again, another ship for comedic purposes, but it’s almost kind of sweet and i want to see more!! especially the classic “i wasn’t loved for me, but i can be myself around you and you don’t mind it” type of trope!! it’s very city girl x country boy too HAHA
i also just want to see more of eunu and see him and his wife and daughters!!! LET ME SEE HIM AS A DAD BUT ALSO LET THE OTHER CHARACTERS INTERACT WITH HIS KIDS!!! and imagine A LEGITIMATE CHA EUNWOO CAMEO that would be so FUN!!! especially if his daughter has a crush on him HAH
there is so much potential to expand on these characters for a couple more episodes and i really think they deserve it :’)
#welcome to samdalri#.txt#i just dont want it to end just yet#and i usually never agree with a s2 for kdramas but this one is almost setting it up in a way that we NEED a s2#ALSO#ARE SAMDAL AND YONGPIL GETTING MARRIED?!#ISTG IF WE DONT GET A MARRIAGE SCENE I DEMAND A S2#THEYRE ALMOST FORTY OMG 😭

My Thoughts On Teen Wolf: The Movie
This is COMPLETELY my opinion and if you disagree, that is completely fine.
Unpopular Opinion: I actually really like the movie but that's mainly because I didn't even take it that seriously. It felt more like a comedy to me than it did a drama. I found myself laughing during parts I shouldn't have been laughing at. Eli getting taken by the Oni after he says "I can do this", Lydia yelling Allison's name, Scott's little entry montage when he exits the car before saving the little girl, Mr. Harris' reveal, literally any time Peter spoke, etc.
Most people call it a dumpster fire and a completely different universe from the show but personally, I don't really care.
I HAVE WATCHED THE ENTIRE SERIES BEFORE WATCHING THE MOVIE! So, I am familiar with all of the recurring characters from the series. I will admit, I wanted to see more of Hikari. Her character seemed very interesting. We got to see a little bit of her personality pop out in the beginning of the movie in the restaurant. A little bit of googling tells me that her and Liam are "good friends" and I kinda want to see their friendship more.
I think the only parts that truly disappointed me was Derek's death and the ending. Anyone who watched the show before watching the movie obviously felt a way about Derek dying and that includes me as well. But I didn't take it all that badly. It was more so the fact that his first beta, his uncle, his niece, and his son ALL watched him die and couldn't do anything to stop it. Like, that kinda killed me inside a little bit.
The ending where the guy goes "we've heard plenty of stories about teenage werewolves, there's always a new one" disappointed the hell out of me because they make it seem like there's going to be a sequel or continuation following Eli's storyline. While that would be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, everybody in the TW fandom and their mother knows that it's not happening and that's the disappointing part. It would be freaking great to see Eli become the wolf his father believed he could be but we aren't getting that and even if it DID hypothetically come to fruition, knowing how most people feel about the writing of the movie, Eli's development wouldn't be done justice.
I get what people mean when they say that the writers completely screwed with Jackson's whole character and made him "dumb." This man's whole supernatural persona and his abilities were an entire plotline for a WHOLE season of the show and he even said that he has claws that can release paralytic venom and somehow, he didn't think to use it to his advantage? Granted, the movie takes place 15 years into the future where most of the characters that had already been established thanks to the show hadn't been in Beacon Hills or dabbled into the supernatural world in over half a decade. Not to mention that the time Jackson's character had exited the show, it was only season 2. So for him, it's almost 20 years. The Nogitsune plot appeared in the second half of Season 3 when he was already gone so he didn't exactly have a clue what he was up against. As far as supernatural ability, that can be excused. However, the naivety is a little... concerning. He was still funny as hell to watch, though.
Scallison amnesia plotline was a little bit mid but the montage of their memories together after Lydia yelled out Allison's name (which I laughed at, by the way) was kinda cute and jogged my memory a bit on the earlier seasons of Teen Wolf. Season 1 Scallison was honestly my favorite era of them and I think for a lot of Scallison shippers as well so seeing that made me a wee bit happy. Personally, I did like Allison better with Isaac but that's another story for another day.
Overall: I like it. But maybe cuz I don't take it all that serious and I just watch it to watch it. Eli must be protected at all costs, I want more Hikari and Liam interactions, let Jackson embrace the kanima completely, and live laugh love Roscoe Stilinski.
This is Luna, logging off!

Hey so you said something about hh rewrites well I was wondering what's the biggest change you would make? And what couple or ship would you think you should develop more and make shine and if I may put my own option I would make Charlie a little bit more funner and I would keep all the trust exercises because I actually liked that though it was funny but I would make her have one on one moments with each individual like I I have her ask how they got their (get to see backstorys through Charlie) and have her have some of the activities more grown up like angle dust is their for drugs(i think idk) so like what if Charlie focus a lot in that and then I totally should have chaggie be the best couple ever i like the idea of them
Also sorry if i didn't do that write I'm new to rewrites but I do have a question so in your rewrite thing what should you make happened if the characters die because is always confuses me soo much like they could just pop up so hypothetically would adam just show up in hell? Idk i just can't wrap my brain around it
Also in your rewrites what would you do with Lilith? (Because in my personal opinion, I would love for her to just be as silly as Lucifer but also be a huge badbitch if needed to)
Anyways love your idea of a rewrite hope you do good and reach your goal what ever it is
I would consider one of the biggest changes so far, would have to be taking the first season of the canon show and be splitting its two main concepts into different seasons(having season 1 focus on hell and focus on the redemption part and having Charlie try to show that the hotel can be useful in redeeming the two sinners((with also a little bit of filler for the characters to chill and have vibe time)); and Season two would focus on the Heaven plotline with the six month time limit for the BIG extermination, and that Charlie has to get more proof that the sinners can be redeemd and are shead from their sins and many more divergent plotlines like Carmilla and (V)Aggies will be important for this season 2)
I think for the couple part, I would mainly wanna do only 4 prominent couples to get the development: Chaggie, Huskerdust, Baxty(Baxter x nifty), and Lucilith. I want to add maybe two more couples, but I also want to wait for more characters to be revealed in the series before making these choices. This would also mean ships like Cherrisnake(who is going to have a rivals-friend relationship), VoxVal(I despise giving Valentino happiness, and Vox deserves a bit better(just a BIT)), and Guitarspear(A one-sided attraction which will lead to despair) will not be canonized mainly so I can give other ships their time in the spotlight for development and want to show more dynamics for the cast.
For the ships, I wanna give Chaggie much more shipping and a couple of moments and show them being a great duo(and also having Aggie be more supportive of Charlie with also needing to give her hard truths when she needs to, with Charlie needing to be more understanding with Aggie and to not be too silly at times. Huskerdust will mostly be kept similar in canon with some needed divergence(some development is kept spoilers because I'm workshopping some ideas for development). Baxty is cause I really like the idea of Husk and Niff having a relationship with people who want to become better people, and it would also lead them into thinking that they should become better people too(Husks will be first, and Nifftys will come later) Lucilith… will be spoilers I will keep some things in cano,n but I need to see season 2(and maybe season 3 to see what will happen to their relationship to do but I have some ideas but some are highly spoiler plot related)
For when the people die, I don't have any major plans yet due to wanting to see what the show is gonna show about the death lore; all I can say about Adam is that I aint gonna kill him ;)
Lilith… I have some ideas but I still need to see what will the show do forward cause I while I still have some plans I want to see what the show will do with her and her mystery, and that I might have seen some spoilers about her…. but Im gonna wait till I see if any of that is true to decided what to write with her.
Also, thank you so much for sending me an inbox message. You are my first one \^w^/
(Also, I have a huge post coming up for everyone else!)

I think I've figured out what I don't like about Star Trek Discovery. But to explain it, I have to talk about what I do like, and where I am - which is midway through Season 2.
First, Michael Burnham, herself, is a good character. She's confident, talented, driven, capable of making mistakes (and makes a very big one at the opening of the show), but also capable of taking big risks and coming out on top. She admits when she's wrong, but she's not afraid to tell other people when they are. For the most part, she's the sort of character we're told Starfleet wants to have as officers.
Second, she's surrounded by interesting oddballs. Stamets is a wonderful academic who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and he's got a loving and tender relationship which is a fucking rarity in Starfleet. Tilly is like a visitor from a more mature Lower Decks. And so on. It's really Michael's show, but she's got a good crew around her - some of whom can give her orders.
Third, the ship's concept is really neat. It's a combination flying science labs and black-ops project, like Half-Life's Black Mesa in space.
So I'm still watching the show, because I feel all this potential there, but I sometimes wrestle with it. And here's why.
Every plotline has to orbit Michael Burnham. Most recently, she takes a mentally tortured Vulcan to a planet for help and the point of being on that planet, seemingly, is to just tell her a story about what happened, then see some exposition. That trip could have just happened, she could look angsty while specialists do their work, and then there's a scene of truth if not reconciliation.
But this isn't an isolated case. Just over and over, the writing pushes her to the center of the action. She's got personal connections to every single thing that matters. Some hypothetical time traveler could apparently screw up the Federation for centuries just by messing with her timeline a tiny bit.
The times when this doesn't happen - like when it's Stamets, not her, in a time loop - are so delicious, because she's smart and clever and has this out of context problem thrown at her repeatedly, and she prevails. It's episodes like this that convince me Burnham is a good character independent of the spotlight the writers seem intent on locking onto her 24/7.
(This is also my problem with Voyager - some of the characters there are good, some are meh, a few are fantastic, but MY GOD the writing is like a vampire that just sucks the enjoyment out of watching it)
The show is having wild hate-sex with TOS-era canon. The show really, really wants to remind you that it's the immediate prequel to TOS. Like look, here's Captain Pike, here's Spock, there's the Enterprise, but we're also going to drop this multiversal mushroom network on you out of NOWHERE, we're going to a lot of stuff with Klingons, we're just doing all this wild shit.
I'm glad they're swinging for the fences though. The Sphere is probably the most impactful encounter they have in Season 2 in terms of its story impacts, and it's just such a wonderful TOS-era thing. There's this big weird object in space, there's literally nothing like it anywhere else, it's dangerous but not malicious, we're going to pit Federation ingenuity against the puzzle it represents, and we're going to have a good outcome if we're lucky.
The show sure likes to sleep on its ensemble. I love Saru and Stamets and Tilly, but I wish we'd heard more about that weird cyborg lady, Airiam, who's on the bridge before she's under it. They dropped TIG NOTARO on us as a sassy engineer, give her more love. Detmer clearly has a ton of emotion she's processing. I want to see her actress, Emily Coutts, in more stuff. It feels like they almost put in too many characters and then shone spotlight on the same few all the time, and then would pull others from their back pocket for moments of drama.
All of these things are why I'm looking forward to Season 3, where it seems the writers hit the reset button on a lot of this and are trying something new. I don't know if it'll be a better new, but it'll solve the problems Season 1-2 have given me. And I want to see what Strange New Worlds does.

Contraversial American Housewife Opinion
I’m not a huge fan of Triplor, I mean they were cute the first 3 seasons, then by season 4, it became clear that she outgrew him. We had the same plot multiple times of Taylor wanting to move away from Westport, wanting to explore the world or wanting to learn more about art, history and other cultures, while Trip just wants to stay in Westport and is not interested in other cultures or exploring the world. Trip tried a couple of times to partake in Taylor’s interests but at the end of the day, that’s not who he is. The person that Taylor grew to be is not compatible with who Trip is.
Additionally, Taylor has grown so much in season 4, she worked to get into her dream college and she completed a list of important life skills that her parents gave her and she even gave up her dream college because she knew her parents couldn’t pay for it. Don’t get me started in how mad season 5 made me when they dropped that plotline, Katie and Greg would not be treating her like a screw-up is they knew what she selflessly did for them. And we don’t even know if she is going there next year or if she got a job to pay for it (it didn’t seem like she did). Anyway, in season 5, they even had a plot-line of Taylor realizing that she outgrew her high-school friends who are very similar to Trip, which I think was supposed to parallel her outgrowing Trip.
Now, I have a theory.
1) Katie mentioned that Taylor’s first love may not be her last love.
2) Taylor and Trip only broke up for 1 episode and did not even try to move on from each other.
3) A big part of his proposal speech was how he didn’t want to lose Taylor again and it seemed to be his main motivator.
4) Both Taylor and Trip had crushes on other people.
All of this leads me to believe that if there was a season 6, it would focus on Taylor and Trip’s engagement but they won’t go through with the wedding and will realize that they are no longer compatible. Then a hypothetical season 7 would show Taylor being single because thsi poor girl has been in a relationship since season 2, let her rest, be free and breathe. This is the only ending I accept because I refuse the idea of Taylor being married at 19, giving up her dreams of exploring the world or becoming a singer and then settling down in Westport and having a family right after.

Answer the questions and tag five fanfiction authors you know!
Tagged by the amazing @asteria-argo
1. How many fandoms have you written in?
One! Or two if you count original fiction as a fandom. Or three if you also count the couple of sentences of Black Sails fic that I'll hopefully get around to expanding into a full fic at some point.
2. How many years have you been writing fanfiction?
I started writing The Hedgehog's Dilemma on August 2, 2023, so about 9 months. Before that, I exclusively wrote original fic from ages 8 to 22.
3. Do you read or write more fanfiction?
Read, because reading is fast and writing is slow.
4. What is one way you've improved as a writer?
For a long time, I had a terrible case of writer over-complication syndrome, a thing I made up just now: every story I planned somehow ended up with 5+ different story lines which were at best loosely connected and each had their own cast of characters and sometimes world-building. As in, I once put "character goes to space and turns into a demigod(?)" and "ethics of dealing with a slow-acting zombie plague where people gradually transform in to zombies over the course of ~10 years" in the same story, then got overwhelmed and never wrote it. I still have a bit of this tendency, but I've gotten much better at axing plotlines that don't need to be there in the planning stage.
5. What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
I don't know how weird it is, but I did spent more time than was probably reasonable trying to figure out what type of houseplant Higgins had in his box of office supplies in 2x02. I also found out that there are multiple record-breaking balls of twine in the US (largest ball of sisal twine by a community; largest ball of sisal twine by one person; heaviest ball of twine; largest ball of nylon twine) and figured out the route Ted and Beard could have taken on a road trip to see all of them.
6. What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?
I love the long, detailed type with quotes and literary analysis, but I also love the ones that are clearly just someone's instinctive reaction to the chapter, like the person who commented "oh no" on chapter 5 of THD.
7. What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?
I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I love writing time loop/other time travel stories, and I honestly think it comes from my background studying history. One of the main ideas in history is of contigency: that events aren't the product of a single cause but rather of the confluence of many other events interacting in a specific way. Time travel in general and time loops in specific, where the characters restart each time with a clean slate, let me play around with the cause and effect in stories in a way that I really enjoy.
8. What is the hardest type of story for you to write?
I struggle a bit with fluffy, slice of life-type stories where everyone's mostly happy and everything's basically going well, which is why Flightless Birds is actually the fic that gave me the most trouble.
9. What is the easiest type?
Occasionally I'll write these short, introspective, sort of stream of consciousness fics where it's a bit ambiguous what's going on and the narrator's usually having some degree of a bad time — think All I Have (And a Little More) or Ephemera.
10. Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?
I'm currently shopping around for new writing platforms in anticipation of losing access to the university's Word license after I graduate. I'll probably go with LibreOffice since it's free and works decently well.
11. What is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?
Basically any Black Sails canon divergence fic because of how many moving pieces there are in the plot. I floated the hypothetical on here a while ago of what would go differently if season 1 Flint magically got end of season 4 Flint's memories because I'd love to write something with that premise but am daunted by figuring out an answer to that question.
12. What made you choose your username?
I am not good at naming things, so my ao3 username/username for main, the-sea-anemone, was basically me being like "what's a cool animal? Sea anemones, I guess? Username acquired." kvetchinglyneurotic comes from the fact that I initially created this side blog to complain about the ending to Jamie's arc with his dad, and also from the fact that I was in the hyperfixation stage where you think about the thing a solid 90% of the time while also being like. okay I do actually have other things to do so can we please focus on that instead.
I'm not sure who's been tagged yet so I'll go with @thirteenemeraldcats @jamietarttsnorthernattitude @sighonaraa @abubblingcandle
#i know i tagged 4 people instead of 5 but you're all worth 1.25 people to me#tag game#thank you!#kvetch oc

Please can you gif when Martin grabs his hand in 2x1? It's such a wonderfully painful moment.
Would you have liked Martin to survive?
Do you think Gil and the team would ever have found out about Ainsley and the cover up?
Miss pson and fandom so bad.
SORRY I know u sent this a while ago but yeah I'm getting around to some older asks and yes I will try and gif that soon :)
I am very torn about martin bc what I want personally, where I think the show was going, and what makes sense from a storytelling standpoint are all different! so let's say we hypothetically had a season 3, I personally would have wanted martin to survive. I think season 2 is wayyyyy to early for him to die (although considering how few seasons shows are getting now...lmao). there's so much more you could do with martin. however, from a storytelling pov, I think him dying would be more interesting? like it's a double edged sword bc the only way to keep martin around would be flashbacks and hallucinations but those things are already used in the show pretty often so I think it wouldn't be a tough transition, it would just suck that we couldn't see martin interact with other characters besides presumably malcolm and that's only in his head. also the more I think about it, the more I think if the show got a season 3, the writers were going to have martin die and become a hallucination or memory for malcolm, if only bc they already did a plotline about malcolm stabbing martin and him surviving, I don't think they'd want to repeat those story beats??? but who knows, wish chris and sam gave us some more info now that it's been a few years.
I would HOPE the team eventually found out but this show has a habit of dropping plotlines so I wouldn't have been shocked if it didn't come up again or at least not for a while. sad we'll never know now :(

Hugo Moreau deserved a season 2 plotline. (He was eight years old!! Where did he end up? What happened to him? I want to see that kid reunited with his dad and his dog.)
The future Romane from Bilal's timeline deserved a season 2 plotline as well. (I think about her every day of my life. What happened to her? How did she cope with losing every single person in her life except her two kids and Sofia?)
Camille Chassangre deserved a season 2 plotline also. (Outsider perspective on the main characters post-finale. Potential dynamics with the main characters. Give the audience closure on the issue of Herve.)
And lastly. Bilal's future timeline kids. I don't even need to see them as main characters, I just think it'd be cool if they showed up again. I think it's neat how their entire narrative existence is centered around their father's grief, and what he was willing to leave behind to save his friends. And by "I think it's neat" I mean "I am. Deeply unwell. And sobbing."
(I was going to end this post by pitching a hypothetical plot for a hypothetical second season, but I forgot what my idea was, so. I'll just end it here.)
#disney parallels#parallels#disney paralleles#paralleles#bee rewatches parallels: part 1#parallels rewatch is. uh. well. it sure is a thing that is happening!!!#i haven't finished episode 3 yet because i took a break to walk my dog. oh wait hang on i have another post to make.
