This is legit SUCH a hard question TT I love all my characters................

I don't think I have a favorite, but I have a soft spot for Cot since he was one of my first OCs (he wasn't a yandere back then lol)!

Plus Cot is super cute + fun to draw imo :3c

I also adore Aizono for similar reasons! He was a really old OC of mine that came about because I was like... what if the Love God was pining after a mortal?

2. The problematic fave... I mean, they're yanderes so I feel like they're all kind of problematic LOL Ig from my yanderes though, Tynan is probably the most problematic bc he's completely aware of how awful his actions are, he just doesn't care.

He's a man of his own desires, even if he loves Darling haha

3. I feel like I don't give enough attention to a lot of my OCs tbh TT I'm just one measly living organism with way too many OCs lol + I actually have a LOT of OCs I haven't even shared yet!! I love designing characters + writing different prompts so I just end up w a lot of stuff I think.

I do want to revisit my Vampire MILF and DILF though!

(I just think they're hot + I want to be pampered!!!!)

4. As for the one I would hate if they weren't mine... I can't really think about it rn! I feel like all my OCs appeal to me in some way for now... who knows, though? Maybe I'll make an OC I heavily dislike in the future LOL

5. In regards to who I'd go ape shit for if they were hurt... I don't really know, honestly. Maybe any of my human OCs? Most of my non-human/monster OCs can handle themselves just fine, but my human ones are (1) a weak guy who's obsessed with you, (2) a sickly guy who's obsessed with you, and (3) a rich crossdresser who's obsessed with you. None of them are strong tbh so they're much more likely to be hurt LOL

Like, no offense to Sammy, the weak guy who's obsessed with you, but he's kind of pathetic LOL

6. I think the most popular OC I have is either Mulsu or Mason!

I feel like all of my OCs get attention though, so I'm super grateful for it <3

Sha-Bam!

New guy alert!! Meet Kickflip! He's a cool skateboarding skunk guy and I've had him in mind since like, late July lol. Over the past several months, I've seen a lot more people making skunk OCs and every time I saw them, it made me realize how cool of a species they are to make designs out of and I wanted to make one of my own! Also, Kickflip as a name for a character like this first came to me back in February so I'm excited to finally make use of it haha.

I am SUPER happy with this guy's design as well!! (Check out his ref and some additional stuff below the cut!) I am a huge sucker for designs that are a dark base color with bright/rainbow accent markings, so I'm very happy to finally have such a design in my roster hehe.

As for personality, I don't have a ton lined up yet but I do have some key points in mind! Firstly, he's gonna be sorta rivals with Seabreeze, since on a surface level at least, there is a fair amount of similarity between surfing and skateboarding, and I think that opens the door for some rlly fun dynamics in future pieces lol. He'll also be friends with Rye, since they both kinda go for that cool guy attitude, though Kickflip tends to pull it off much better than Rye lmao. I also have relationship plans for him, but that will be revealed at a later point :3c

Anyways, like I said, I REALLY like this guy already so you'll probably be seeing more of him soon hehe. I may take some art trades soon to get some art of him rolling, so keep an eye out for those perhaps :3 Honestly huge year for new Tacoma OCs, with this guy being my fourth new character this year lmao

Was doing a lot of whiteboarding lately! A ton of Kalamela stuff and whatnot, i love her sosos much.

Plus a fun art I did with @su-gu3 with their Slasher OC, Kilonova! I drew the two hanging out together and we're friends so we obviously had to make them be besties😆 they're hanging out while Kilonova crushes over Sun :3c

Yes I did have a vision of the slashy boys fighting over who gets the first dance, more on that below the art😋

The masks that Sun and Moon use plus the blood represents the killings. The heart represents Ethan, because she deep down adores that child.

Okay dance time! So Crystal Cove holds this little event every few months to raise money for charity ( the owners being a cute old couple aaugghhhh <3)

And Kalamela and basically all the other staff normally work that night to avoid any issues and also to raise support as well. She often doesn't dress up since she doesn't feel like it, that and also theres a few customers who are creeps- im actually writing about that and purposely making her beat their asses- and tries to just avoid the overall commotion and craziness! But the boys wont take no for an answer because she always spoils them so why not give her a night to have some fun eh?

- I was thinking about this a lot but I think at some point she'd have to ask if Sun and Moon could let Ethan stay with them so he won't be witnessing a bunch of bullshit from his father, who sometimes comes over to her place just to start problems. I like to imagine she'll call them at least 30 minutes before he arrives and drives him over to their place to stay for a few hours until things calm down because she knows they'll take care of him!

- Kalamela isn't the type for romance movies, unless it's the Titanic, but I dont even know if that would be out in the very specific year the au takes place in considering it was released in 1997!! Either way😙 She often prefers horror movies and I think she'd really enjoy watching them with Sun, maybe its just so she has an excuse to cuddle up against him or just the thrill of watching some action! Who knowssss~

- She often lets Moon take Mango home for the night, he loves that parrot so much. Which usually gets an "Again?" from Sun because he always watches her whenever he gets the smallest chance.

- She definitely goes absolutely CRAZY on presents for holidays like Valentine's or Christmas for these two. I have a feeling she'd notice that they clearly didn't have the best childhood or ways growing up, and being in a similar situation because her family is extremely religious and she never had any freedom until she moved away, she often tries to make them happy and gets them as many gifts as possible. She spent all her money on them at on point and her only explanation was "I care for you guys a bit too much."

- cough wyervan ever since you mentioned that throwing a rock situation to get it through their heads that Kalamela loves them more than friends I can't help but imagine that she'd ask her friends about how to talk to them and her two friends, (Sprite and Eclipse, both guys, married gay men. They are extremely supportive. Would be great to have a beer with btw.) offer to help her, and eclipse throws a rock at both of them with a note attached to it while she just stands there in absolute shock that he actually aimed for their head. Oh and Sprite had to help Moon hold Sun back from beating his ass. Good times.

- I feel like at some point she would accidentally come across them killing someone and it results in this huge "oh shiiiitttt" moment from Sun and Moon as they drag her away into a more secluded area and then beg her not to tell anyone. (Even though her and Moon already talk about the killings, he still freaked) She doesn't rat them out because she is NOT getting slashed today, but often finds herself contemplating whether she should move and cut contact with them, despite the fact she loves them oh-so dearly!

Lapsang Souchong (If your OC was a scented candle, what would they smell like?) - for scent-related stuff, i can say that as a perfume she'd have a base note of ambergris (potentially in excess) and a middle note of... maybe cardamom? something pale and floral, but with some spice

...plus some other ingredients that combine to give an impression of the sea... though i'm not familiar enough with different notes yet to say what those would be. rum might work as one?

anyway i assume scented candles follow similar rules in regards to having top/middle/base notes. so that's my answer i guess! pale, warm, somewhat sweet, and undeniably organic

Jasmine (Does your OC like flowers? Which type of flower is their favorite?) - if asked she'd probably say that her favourite is the morning glory.. which is true, but it's doubtful she's ever seen a real one. her interest would be mostly from illustrations and fake paper versions

she also likes infernal flowers! but again, in most cases she likes the visual aesthetics of flowers more than the actual things. the pretty symbolism in paintings wont try to bite her ..... probably

(plus the having the characters thoughts in parentheses like this, i do this for messages n such but ive began slowwwlyy worming it into my writing?? like i rlly like it)

I’m glad I could inspire some stuff for you :D !!!! I love using line breaks because it makes it Super clear when there’s a scene change of some kind or a time skip — literally one of the best writing tools ever fr fr

and !!!! that’s so valid on sometimes finding pov changes disorienting, I think a lot of it comes down to how it’s done/how smooth it is?? I tend to mostly stick to pov changes in different scenes (i.e. scene 1 being grian’s pov, scene 2 being scar’s) but I’ve found it REALLY fun to pov change in the middle of a scene. the key to that I’ve found is changing to a diff pov when the character is responding to something. it makes it really smooth and you get to go into how that character is thinking/feeling in the moment :D

I really really love pov switches because I like getting into the nitty gritty of how a character is feeling (case in point with like an arrow DFNFNFKK) and it makes the story feel fuller to me if that makes sense?? it adds a lot of weight when you know Exactly how both characters are feeling (unless the writer Doesn’t want you to know immediately hehe)

and :D using the parentheses is always really like. I love using them when a character is having contradictory thoughts and the thoughts in the parentheses are the True feelings or they’re an afterthought kinda deal :3c I’m glad you like using them!!!

but 🥺 I’m glad you could get more than just a story from my writing and find things to try out yourself and work them into your writing too <3333

I've started writing what I think is gonna end up being a pretty long post-apocalypse AU with my OC that I'm really excited about!

My cat Pickle IS adorable but you're just gonna have to trust me because she has run off downstairs to beg for my parent's fried chicken.

If Shanks was real and suddenly appeared beside me I do believe he would simply dive into my bed where the heated blanket was and i'd have to minimal explaining about the odd layout of my room otherwise. The smooches that man would get (consensually) sighs

I have been thinking about doing some smutty oneshots focusing on Burning Spice and Eternal Sugar! It'd be a while yet I reckon cause I'm focused on The Light of False Hope rn but I reckon Burning Spice is the most likely one to get a one-shot...I like writing horrible violence and that's sorta his thing sooooo I can really go ham with the physical violence aspect >:3 I'd like to write some Pure Vanilla stuff too as a lil gift for my fiance as PV is his favourite cookie! Hollyberry, Pitaya and Black Pearl are also strong contenders for fics too!

My favourite film is defo The Thing (1982), it's an absolutely amazing horror film and I adore how amazing the practical effects looked for the time and even now tbh! Plus, Kurt Russell is just...ough 😩👌

Exposing myself as a stinky brit now but my fave shows are probably the soap operas we air over here ahaha, they're not exactly the highest forms of entertainment but when they do storylines good they do them good.

Think my favourite thing about drawing is defo the rendering process, especially when it comes to drawing hair and eyes! Honestly fair, having a kink is one thing but it resulting in a whole ass human is another. For Phantom/Bird, it depends on who it is. She's usually very focused on her work and doesn't like distractions, but if it's a superior (Phantom) she knows better than to ignore them, and if it's a friend (Bird) she might grant them attention, depending on what they want. She'll be mildly annoyed if they disturbed her for no good reason though.

Skyline's the type to drop everything and give you her full attention. Genuinely interested in whatever you have to say too. She's too nice.

Havoc. In a medical emergency, she locks tf in. She's performed emergency surgery in the middle of an active battlefield. Havoc does not give a fuck. The entire building could be on fire and she'd still be welding someone's leg back on with perfect precision.

Bluescreen sort of falls into this category too, she does get really into her hacking once she's on a roll. Until Lugnut enters the room and her processor just dies.

Ash sets a million alarms and still oversleeps. You're not getting them out of bed. They'll sleep through the apocalypse and then wake up wondering where everyone went.

Trixie would never set an alarm. That said, she doesn't wake up either. She just doesn't care. No event or person is important enough to make her miss her beauty sleep. The world waits for HER.

Bird is the lightest sleeper you've ever met. She doesn't need an alarm. The moment some bird in the vicinity only thinks about chirping, she's up.

Havoc is the type of maniac who only has one singular alarm and actually gets up the moment it rings. How are you doing that girl.

Razormane! Predacons are built different. She got all the cat skills, including night vision and enhanced senses.

Bluescreen's eyes may not be particularly special, but her visor can function as a magnifier. It's what makes her an excellent sharp shooter. The scope is built-in.

This feels like such a Trixie thing. I don't even know how she'd do it considering she gets all her stuff in bowls now, but she definitely used to back on her home planet just to piss people off. (Lapping coffee from a doggy bowl is such a mood too though).

Aside from that, Wildside does this too, but not to spite people, just because she thinks it's fun. Plus, whenever she needs a dish, she'll just use whatever the heck Wreck-Gar just pulled out of his trash. If it's bowl-shaped, it's a bowl. She doesn't care. He's the same way. Neither of them has ever used a utensil for its intended purpose. Bestie are you sipping energon from a dented tuba?

“Nikki,come on.”

Nicole looks up to her mother, her eyes leaving the colorful toys as Beatrice pushes the cart with the twins on it. She stretches her hand down to her daughter who waddles closer to her. Beatrice is quick to put her in the kangaroo strapped to her chest.

"Mama, wha?" Nikki pointed to a display of brightly colored flowers at one of the stalls.

Beatrice smiled down at her daughter, as she pushed the cart forward. "Those are flowers, sweetheart. People buy them to decorate their homes or give them to someone special."

Nikki's eyes widened in wonder as she reached out towards the blossoms. Beatrice gently redirected her attention. "We'll look at the flowers later, okay? Right now, we need to get some fruits and veggies for dinner." she kisses her head, “And help auntie Shells…whom I already lost in here, oh God.”

 Beatrice scanned the stalls for Shells, who seemed to have disappeared into the sea of people. The lively chatter of vendors, the laughter of children, and the occasional bark of a distracted her too much in trying to hear her friend.

"Alright, guys we're on a mission to find Auntie Shells. Think we can do it?" Beatrice asked. Nikki was the only one who replies with a babble, meanwhile Gavin and Aurora just snoozed in the cart, too busy dreaming to pay attention to anything else.

She huffs, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she looks around, every blonde head that appeared into view was not Shells and she frowned, “She couldn’t have just disappeared in here.”

"Okay, Nikki, I cannot believe I’ll ask you this but…can you help Mama find Auntie Shells?" Beatrice suggested, making a game out of the search. Nikki clapped her hands, her eyes glinting just like Rooster’s when he was interested by something.

“I’m asking a toddler to help me,” she mutters while Nicole squirms happily in her chest, “Unbelievable…” she’s still looking around, hoping to see the blonde bob anywhere and frowning when she couldn’t.

“You know Nikki,” she begins, “Auntie Shells gets distracted very easily,so it is possible she’s stuck somewhere, looking at stuff to buy–ugh,Shells,come on, show up!”

The scent of fresh produce wafted through the air, mingling with the aroma of food and blooming flowers. Beatrice maneuvered the cart through the crowd, occasionally glancing down at Nikki's excited expressions.

"You see anything, Nikki?" Beatrice asked, pretending to scan the area. Nikki responded with another burst of laughter and pointed towards a balloon vendor, her tiny fingers reaching out in delight.

Beatrice chuckled. "Not Auntie Shells, huh? Okay, let's keep looking."

The market was a tapestry of colors and sounds, and Beatrice couldn't help but be captivated by the diverse array of goods on display.But she had something to do and she had a budget to keep intact.

So.

Shells,first.

Beatrice continued her search, weaving through the market stalls with a determined expression. Nikki giggled and babbled happily in the carrier, seemingly enjoying the adventure of searching for Auntie Shells.

The market square stretched out before her, a labyrinth of possibilities where Shells could be exploring. Beatrice made her way through the crowd, glancing left and right, her eyes scanning for that familiar blonde bob of hair. The sun cast a warm glow over the market, creating a lively and cheerful ambiance.

A sudden movement caught Beatrice's eye, and she turned to see a flash of blonde disappearing behind a stall selling handmade jewelry. "Gotcha," she muttered to herself, quickening her pace.

As she approached the stall, Beatrice found Shells engrossed in examining a display of beaded necklaces. The vendor was enthusiastically showcasing her creations.

Beatrice couldn't help but sigh at the sight. Shells, completely absorbed in admiring the jewelry, didn’t even see Bea there.

"Shells.," Beatrice calls gently, a bit tired and looking less than amused when her friend turned.

"Took you long enough! I was getting lost in the beauty of these necklaces."

“Uh-huh.”

“Which one you think I should take home?” she holds two, one red and the other mint green, “I kinda like these two.”

Beatrice blinked, propping her hand on her hip with Nicole strapped to her chest and the twins happily asleep, unaware of what was going on. If this was any other day, she’d help her friend choose, “...really?”

Beatrice couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Shells' nonchalant attitude. Here she was, on a mission to buy groceries and manage a tight budget, and Shells was contemplating jewelry. 

"Well, Shells," Beatrice began, her tone filled with a mix of amusement and exasperation, leaning on exasperation  "Considering we're on a grocery run…I don’t know. Honestly. Can we go? Please? I gotta go home and you promised me you’d help.”

Shells blinked, her attention finally fully shifting from the jewelry to Beatrice's expression. "Oh, right, groceries. Yeah, yeah, let's go," she said, a grin spreading across her face as she handed both necklaces to the vendor without making a decision.

Beatrice sighed, rolling her neck uncomfortably. "You and your distractions. Come on, guys, let's get this over with," she muttered to her daughter, readjusting the strap of the baby carrier. “I’m almost done too, you can always come back some other day,Shells.”

“Yeah yeah…”Shells, on the other hand, continued to scan the market with the enthusiasm of a child in a candy store. Beatrice, trying to maintain her patience, couldn't help but shake her head at her friend's easily distracted nature as they walked away

As they passed by a stall selling fresh fruits, Beatrice decided to seize the opportunity to redirect Shells' attention. "How about you help me pick up some fruits for Nikki?" she suggested, hoping to steer her friend back to the main goal of their outing.

Shells grinned, her eyes lighting up at the suggestion. "Great idea! Let's get the juiciest, sweetest ones!" she says, then turns towards Bea, “Not gonna lie, you do sound a bit…stressed today,what’s up?’

Beatrice let out a tired sigh, her shoulders slumping slightly. "It's just been one of those days, you know?" she admitted, glancing down at Nikki, who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the sights and sounds of the market. "The twins were a handful this morning, and I just need to get the groceries and head back. Rooster's going to be calling soon, and I want everything to be settled by then."

Shells raised an eyebrow, a hint of concern in her eyes. "Everything okay at home? I mean, aside from the twins being a handful."

Beatrice nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yeah, everything's fine. It's just the usual chaos of managing the house and the kids on my own. But we're getting through it. I just need to focus on the essentials today."

Shells gave her a look, understanding the challenges Beatrice faced as a mother of three, especially with Rooster deployed, with her lips pursed. "Seriously, I don't know how you manage it all. And you still look fabulous while doing it."

She chuckled, appreciating the compliment. "Why,thank you."

“You are welcome babes. I mean it tho, you look great.”

Beatrice smiles thankfully, patting Shells’ arm, “Thank you,Shells. I needed that today.”

Shells nodded, the distraction of colorful fruits pulling her attention away from the jewelry stalls. Beatrice's weariness seemed to lift momentarily as she and Shells bantered about the merits of apples versus oranges.

Orange was obviously the superior fruit.

Once they had gathered a variety of fruits, Beatrice directed Shells towards the vegetable section. "We still need to grab some veggies, and then we're done. No more distractions, okay?"

Shells held up her hands in mock surrender. "No more distractions, I promise. Let's get those veggies and head back. I'll even carry the bags."

Beatrice smirked, appreciating Shells' attempt to make amends for the earlier detour. "Deal. Now, let's make this quick." 

“Sure thing.” Shells says as she follows Beatrice, her eyes shifting to the brunette, “So…the twins…being a handful? That’s new isn’t it?”

“Well, they just got home,Shells.” Bea says as she looks at the veggies once they reach the aisle, “And they are still getting used to their surroundings, it’s normal. I called their doctor though, in case they are having morning cramps.”

As they perused the vegetable aisle, Beatrice could sense Shells' lingering concern. It wasn't easy for her to mask her weariness entirely, especially when her close friendwas scrutinizing her every move. Beatrice decided to address the unspoken worry, appreciating Shells' concern but also wanting to reassure her.

"Shells, I appreciate you looking out for me," Beatrice began, carefully selecting some fresh spinach and tomatoes, "but really, it's just the usual chaos that comes with having a full house. The twins are adjusting, and it takes a bit of time."

Shells raised an eyebrow, still not entirely convinced. "Bea, you know you can tell me if something's bothering you, right? I mean, I've seen you handle a lot, but if it's getting too much, you gotta let someone know."

Beatrice sighs, checking the weight of an eggplant in her palm, “It’s just…I’m worried about Roos I guess. Did Bob tell you about—” she lowers her voice, “The breach?”

The last thing they needed was saying,out loud, what was going on in a Navy deployment.

"The breach?" Shells asked, her tone hushed in response to Beatrice's lowered voice. "Bob didn't say much, just that there was some kind of security concern. What happened, Bea?"

She continued selecting vegetables, her fingers gripping the handle of the shopping cart a bit tighter. "There was an unauthorized access attempt, Shells. They caught it in time, but it's still nerve-wracking. Rooster assured me that he's okay, but you know how it is. The uncertainty, the distance—it's hard."

 "Damn, Bob didn’t go into that much detail. That's heavy stuff. And Rooster? Is he okay?"

"Physically, yes. Mentally, I think it's taking a toll on him. He's got this strong exterior, but I know him. He feels responsible for the team, for the mission. It's a lot to carry." she says while rubbing her neck, dropping her eyes on Nikki and the twins.

Shells reached out, placing a comforting hand on Beatrice's shoulder. "And you? How are you holding up?"

Beatrice managed a small, grateful smile, appreciating Shells' genuine concern. "I'm trying, Shells. It's just... with the twins back, the house full, and now this security scare, it's a lot on my plate.I worry. I want-I need him to be safe…I can’t protect him from afar."

Shells’ mouth dropped and then she covered her flabbergasted expression with her hand, eyes watering, “Oh…my god, you two are too cute.”

“What?”

“Did you hear what you just said,Bea?”

Shells' unexpected burst of emotion caught Beatrice off guard. She blinked at her friend, confusion evident in her expression. "What are you talking about, Shells? It's not cute. It's just the reality of our situation."

Shells wiped away an imaginary tear, a playful smirk on her face. "Bea, seriously, it's like a scene from a romance movie. The tough military guy, the worried but strong wife waiting at home, pouring her heart out about how she can't protect him from afar. It's classic, and I'm living for it."

Beatrice rolled her eyes, but a small chuckle escaped her lips. "Shells, this is real life–”

“Babes, come on.” she smiles, “I get that it's hard. I really do. But you two are too precious…did you tell him that?"

Beatrice sighed, her shoulders slumping as she sank into the couch, feeling a mix of emotions. "No, Shells. I haven't. It just feels like... I don't know, he's dealing with so much out there. I don't want to add to his stress, you know?"

Shells just tilted her head at Bea, grabbing the eggplant from her friend’s hand and shoving it in a bag "I get it, Bea. But sometimes, guys need to hear that stuff.”

"I guess I just don't want to burden him. He's got a lot on his plate, and I don't want him worrying about me on top of everything else."

Shells raised an eyebrow, her expression turning serious as she props her hands on her hips. "Bea, you're his anchor. You being there for him emotionally isn't a burden. It's what will keep him going. You're not weak for needing him, and he's not weak for needing you."

"I just want him to focus on the mission, not worry about things back home that much…." Beatrice admitted, her gaze dropping to the floor.

Shells leaned in, her tone gentle. "Bea, if he knows you're okay, it'll free up space in his mind to focus on the mission. He knows you are okay, now you can tell him how you want to protect him.”

After a moment of thoughtful silence, Beatrice sighed. "You are right.” she says, checking everything in her cart before sighing, “You are right, he should know about that.”

Shells grinned, satisfied that she had gotten through to Beatrice. "Good to know, Bea. Now…am I invited for dinner?” and the brunette laughed, thinking that it wouldn’t be that bad if she said yes to that.

She was feeling better too.

who is/are your comfort character(s)? oh goddd i have so many. umm out of my childhood ones i would say bonnie from fnaf (literally any bonnie tbf except the one from fnaf 4 and pizzasim). then obviously benr(e)y and gordon from hlvrai, barney calhoun from half life, uhh... snufkin from moominvalley (the 90s one), jack walten from twf, intruder from tmc (dont even question that one), betty grof from adventure time/f&c... beach bear from the rockafire explosion, oddly enough rockstar chuck (chuck e cheese). out of personal characters (ocs) it would probably be procyon, i have some other comfort ocs but i think this paragraph is long enough LOL 14. do you love the smell of earth after it rains?

yes! although i tend to not really go outside that much after it rains, i live in a pretty rough terrain spot so it gets all muddy and stuff. don't like getting my shoes or tip of pants wet. but it is nice if i have a window open :)

31. what type of music keeps you grounded?

i'm not really sure how to describe this one because i listen to so many different songs and types of music that i can't pin down one specific genre. but often times i really like songs that has lyrics reflecting what i'm going through, sometimes it helps me realise those problems but in words, plus with a nice tune aha. really a LOT of the time though if i wanna feel grounded i listen to soundtracks from my favourite video games or movies! usually video games over movies, since video games are far more interactive and leave much more of an emotional impact than movies for me. it brings a lot of comfort to me which in turn makes me feel more grounded!
