Hi! Hope your holidays went well and you’re feeling ready for the new year! I’m interested to see if me and this guy have synastry typical with long term relationships. I’ve been obsessed with him from the first moment I saw him and while he has shown me he cares for me and is deeply attracted to me, there’s been no move towards commitment. I’m ready to let it go in the new year so I just wanted to get someone’s opinion on our compatibility before I do. Thank you in advance!

Hello, answering this is gonna be a long one.

I’m seeing a lot in these charts separately and together but let’s get into it. Far warning that I’m gonna be honest and intuitive to what I see okay. Thank you for the ask.

For starters longevity it’s a common go to for people looking at synastry. What you must be capable of is understanding the longevity means nothing if what you’re signing up for is a waste of your time. It’s can mean a long term cycles or long term fantasy/illusions. People energy no matter the essence, is a web you can easily but comfortably get involved with despite danger lingering by.

If I’m being honest I see a lot of possible cycles and illusions….also lots of sexual energy and obsession indeed that ultimately leaves no one in this situation with the proper satisfaction (or he right kind)

let’s point out some aspects natally

His Natal

Capicorn rising - okay so he is Saturn Rx in pices in his 2nd house. 🙂 He also has some retrograded but elusive planets in his first house. I will say this that commitments to anything aren’t his strongest suit in terms of his life lessons. He has a boundary problem and he’s pretty expansive and sure of himself at the same time. I see why he’s so intense, his energy is brooding but messy. He doesn’t even know how to commit to himself. He’s just had or is about to have a Saturn return and I’m sure after Pluto in Capicorn & Aquarius left him feeling like he isn’t sure of anything any more, not by the same structures he adhered to before (I.e childhood, fatherly examples, societal conformity). All of his old ways of maybe 🤔I don’t know eluding his responsibilities to exert strong boundaries and have more of a . conscious word esteem instead of a feen for validation but I don’t think he knows any different so he’s currently going through a huge life lesson that is. This surrounds relationships, boundaries, day to day habits and mental health.

Mars Scorpio - He knows what he wants on an intimate level and he seeks after it in an investigative way. He focuses on you and dissects you piece by piece and will make you his little toy. Sensual and passionate in a display of affection. He has this on his node of destiny. So his path is him searching for something that mentally and spiritually activates his soul. He may try or has tried to finesse the drawls. He can promise a commitment and may offer temporary love. Because if it’s not something he made the decision for, he’s still not gonna be rushed.

Mars conjunct North Node - this is a Scorpio/Libra conjunction. I will say as indecisive as is he knows who he wants to touch love and marry and all are separate categories. It’s in the 10/9th house also it’s a something that he values in appearances and matching with another. Also Venus being connected to this in Virgo leaves a bit of a meticulous or picky lover on a deep level. Another placement of courting vigorously, knowing how to anyways…if he hasn’t already given you his hand rather than penis do not over give your emotions to him. Him in control is only safe for him.

Moon in Aries - He’s a very strong stubborn headed cookie huh? He is very focused on how to make himself happy and satisfied. Especially with his masculine dominance towards lust and attraction. Women to him are sexy…or at least how he likes em but also they are understanding and emotional, they are important in matters of looks (partnership) and intimacy (lust/passion) but also his greatest fear he likes a chaser/challenge energy.He Loves to linger…He is a bit impulsive and noncommittal in a way with this energy falling into your house of sex. At best he’s obsessed with that nunu. He thinks you a great talk to understand him and his temperamental actions or tendency to impulsive. You are a comfort to him and at time each other in your bond. It comes from the way you communicate certain passions or even similar injustices to each other.

Scorpio Pluto - he has alot of intense and dare I say emotionally seeking energy. Lots of love and war here, maybe a deep seated betray or revelation in childhood or young adulthood that changes his perspective on power, control, and pulled him into a place of wanting to be stronger and mysterious. Also with this in your 3rd house on your ic. His energy is addicting to your inner world but also over bearing obvious that he has or will gain control over you. Probably by sex, abuse, power plays or some sort of rebirth. He shakes up your mental (I’ll go further with synastry)

The Synastry.

His pluto (Scorpio 11th house) squaring your mercury (Aquarius 6th house). 🙃 Okay no ma’am I studied y’all on my Astro.com and immediately no. This is also squaring your TAURUS (stability) Saturn…again no ma’am this is not energy you need to trap yourself into because your about to. Also your mental and important dreams thoughts and goals is tied into your mercury which is also your chart ruler. He likes this by the way…having power over your mind and when he doesn’t he may threaten the stability or manipulate you. He feel like in a relationship he’s the jealous type. But long term stability isn’t happening here I’ll go further. This is a conflicting energy at the base of your chart wgeee your roots emotions and inner world lies. I think he will seek to change you in many ways.

His Saturn (Pisces chart ruler) is not even aspecting much nor well anything in your houses. It’s a burden towards your identity and confidence, you will feel like you have to take in a lot of responsibility and burden in the union if it becomes a serious commitment. It squares your moon (emotions and deeper inner world with this being in your fourth house AND with your union asteroid at that).None of his love asteroids except link rx is in your 7th. His Saturn also squares your mars (assertiveness) falling into his 11th house of friendship. You may or may not actually get the reaction of deeper commitment you’re looking for.

His Jupiter (Sagittarius 11th house) is opposite your Jupiter (Gemini 10th house) shows a risk of tension between values and again with Gemini Jupiter in your chart ruler energy, a distinct tension with your dreams, goals and career. He has a cancer descendant with his moon falling into your house of partners money trauma and debts. I can already tell he wants a traditional wife that fits into his world and moulds to his emotions, supports him while allowing him to take the lead. He may make your values dreams and personal expansion feel limited, weighted or even restricted. He wants to explore but may also have a strong religious or ideological way he wants to pursue his goals and wishes in life. He may put a lot of value into a community or friend group to the point where they influentb house ce who he pursues as well. He likes and is probably a hidden aspect to your world, very familiar in a way.

His Mars (Scorpio 10th house) is squaring Neptune (Aquarius 6th house) illusions, and confusion his actions do not match his words and he may even be tempted to accept your confession with no commitment on mind.

None of his love asteroids make any appearance in your 7th or 5th house. I think you both have a great friendship that meddled over the line of obsession and physical attraction.

His Aries and Sag is very self focused but self mastery energy that I’m not sure he’s developed yet and even so would incline him even more to chase. I do lots of attraction and physical chemistry, it could be fun but again at what cost to you and your heart? Moon in your 8th aspects well but yours does not it’s not mutual. 🪷 Capricorn moons are the most emotional people that I've ever come across (and I know a lot of them). They feel everything so deeply. A lot of my friends who are Capricorn moons write poems, and reading them makes me want to give them the biggest hug ever. Humor is their defence mechanism.

🐷 people who have Mercury as their 7th lord are such big sapiosexuals, my god. I can't stress this enough. I've noticed that a lot of times, these people themselves also have a very high or above average IQ.

🪷 Mercury square moon people.... they're so intelligent but can't say "I love you" if their life depended on it. My mom has this and words of affirmation is not her strong suit. she has never told me or my sister that she loves us or is proud of us, we KNOW that she loves us, her actions prove that, but she won't say "I love you" like.....🙄

🐷 Saturn aspecting ascendant people are so intimidating. They just look so scary, but most of the people I know with this, are actually pretty chill once you get to know them, the biggest extroverts and party animals that you'll ever come across, but it depends on the rest of your chart as well.

🪷 Mars as the 7th ruler (and it being in the 5th house) people LOVE gym bods, my sister and a friend of mine have this, and they absolutely loved that Henry Cavill video where he's in the gym, preparing for Superman, and his muscles are BULGING in that, I mean, I love Henry Cavill but those HUGE muscles make me so uncomfortable, like stay away from me please 😭

🐷 sun opposite moon people look so emotionally......constipated. I know so many people with this and they do NOT know how to communicate. I've never seen them cry. They are also very awkward when it comes to expressing their feelings.

🪷For a lot of people with Moon square ascendant, their mother was the one who made them feel bad about their appearance, like constantly making rude remarks about their body/ face. I've noticed that when these people grow up, they'll be like, for ex, you tell them that a dress doesn't look good and they'll immediately accuse you of calling them ugly, when it's the dress that's ugly, not them, which is basically a trauma response.

🐷 Chiron aspecting midheaven is such a stage fright placement, me and a lot of people I know have this. When I was young, I used to struggle a lot with this, but then I would stand in front of the mirror and practice saying stuff, it can be anything, pretend to be a celebrity who is giving an interview, a politician who is lying, try making weird faces in front of the mirror, it really helps. You can overcome this issue, it doesn't have to be there all your life. I did it, and now I'm able to present in front of thousands of people, do NOT let this hold you back. YOU CAN DO IT 💪🏻

What a strong Plutonian influence of Pluto in the chart could look like:

Pluto in the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th house

Pluto aspecting inner planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars)

Pluto strongly aspecting the moon and ascendant, especially tight orbs

Being Pluto dominant or having a strong influence of Pluto means that transformations, ego deaths, feelings of death and rebirth will accompany you for a life time. From my experience, this will be especially harsh in the childhood, youth and maybe in your early adult years. As time passes and as you get older, you might develop self care habits and safety mechanisms to protect yourself and your inner peace. Practising self love, meditation and mindfulness could be important to these individuals, as they could underestimate their beauty and their outstanding personality.

I’ve also seen that most traumatic events happen in the childhood, youth or early adulthood. But that’s just my observation.

Feelings of being deeply misunderstood rise while you are young and this feeling might follow you for years. Constantly searching for someone to understand your complex mind and depth of emotions. These people could benefit from searching for a valve to turn pain, bad experiences and any form of built up emotion into art. Be it writing, drawing, making music…

A reoccurring theme for Plutonians is sexuality. There may be blockages in regards of the own sexuality or experiencing it, but once they overcome this, they literally start to bloom in that area. This could turn into being hungry for power in general (or simply being turned on by overpowering the partner) or in being lascivious. They can be pretty much extreme and freaky in bed, actually. Being intimate never gets boring with them.

I know, this is what you read everywhere, but plutonic people are deeply magnetic and will catch your eye with their intense aura. Even if they are not seen as traditionally beautiful, these natives exude attractiveness and charisma. You just can’t ignore them and they will even stand out in a crowd. BUT! A lot of them don’t have the sex appeal like (for example) Megan Fox has. A lot of them have such an innocence to their appearance, but if you take a closer look you’ll see that they’re like fallen angels.

From my experience, plutonic people will have a deep connection to spirituality or the occult and a profound interest in psychology (for good and bad). They usually get into these things after really hard times in their life. They will attract jealousy and hate like flies, unfortunately and this could take a toll in their self esteem. Even strangers tend to be very competitive and mean to them in some way, because most people simply feel challenged by their presence.

Astrology observations #3

These are my personal observations and should be taken in the context of the whole chart, never isolated 😊

Some of this is 18+, no minors allowed

♦️Mars-Uranus aspects can indicate a liking for risky activities and extreme sports, like motorcycling or base jumping. They can even like to put themselves in danger as they need the adrenaline. Routine is super boring for them, they need to try new things very often. They should be careful to release this nervous energy with sports, work they're passionate about or things like that or it can backfire. This aspect can be tempered down with Saturn aspects or a lot of earth energy in the chart.

♦️Venus square mars aspect: can often be mean to the person they like, classic "if he pulled your hair it's because he likes you" stuff. Can be very passionate, might have difficulty to separate feelings from lust. They might have talent for artistic sports like dancing or ice skating. For women, they might like a more sporty fashion style.

♦️Sun-saturn aspects: especially for harsh ones, this can really change the expression of the sun sign. I know someone with sun and several planets in Leo, but they are all square to Saturn and you could never tell she's a Leo; she is very reserved, shy and restrained in life. But as with all Saturn aspects this can change with age, the personality coming through more and more while keeping an amazing sense of discipline, wisdom and grounding.

♦️Moon-uranus aspects: with harsh aspects (conjunction, square, opposition), the mother might have been emotionally cold during the childhood, and she might have been a bit erratic and unpredictable. This could have showed up as frequently moving places, or having a mother considered weird or crazy by society. With soft aspects like trine or sextile this could show up as an untraditional family, maybe having two fathers or two mothers, or parents very into technology, but this was not hard on the person and it helped them develop their individuality and independence.

♦️Taurus mercury: these people can learn much slower than other people (this does not mean they are not as intelligent, their rhythm is just different). At school they might have felt behind their schoolmates or felt like they didn't have enough time to finish their exams/homework. It is important that they don't feel bad about this and take the time they need to do their work. This might be less strong with Uranus influence on mercury. ♦️ Aquarius moon natals and their need to always read and watch self-development content without ever actually feeling their feelings 🙃

♦️ Venus conjunct moon: these people are so kind, they have such a big heart and do not wish harm on anyone, please stay mindful of who has access to you as many people might want to be in contact with this energy but sometimes also energy vampires.

♦️ Mercury conjunct/square pluto and their dark humor! I have this in my chart and one of my colleagues actually said to me three days after she started: "your jokes can be really dark sometimes" 😂 it gets worse when I'm tired as I don't filter my jokes so much before saying them. These aspects might also think a lot about death and dark themes, they can be the type to think "what happens if I die tomorrow", or "I could die if I do this" but not in a worried way, just thinking rationally about what is possible.

♦️ Leo mars women and their secret backup plan of becoming a stripper or an exotic dancer 💃 these women often have a talent for dancing, and performing can make them feel desired and confident.

♦️ Aries moon/mars placements and their road rage! Both my parents have these placements and my god the number of stressful rides to school I had when I was a child 😂 this can also apply to the other fire mars.

♦️ Lilith conjunct ascendant: these people often provoke reactions everywhere they go, they rarely go unnoticed whether it is positive reactions or negative. The women with this aspect might get sexualised a lot, and the men with this aspect might attract animosity from other men. ♦️ Sun-jupiter and moon-jupiter aspects: they might always see the bright side of things, "it will get better", "this is temporary", seeing the glass half-full. A lot of optimism, faith in a higher meaning, maybe too optimistic sometimes and too trusting that things will unfold in the right way.

♦️Mars square pluto women often attract creepy men on the street, interactions with aggressive men might be unfortunately common. It is important to not repress their anger and channel their power in something like martial arts.

♦️Gemini moon/IC: they might love to talk with their loved ones at home, a lot of communication and learning in their private life. If they live alone they might be a lot on the phone or always have music or tv or radio on.

♦️Mercury square saturn: they might doubt their intellectual abilities when young, their learning style might not fit the classic school system. It is important that they are encouraged by their family, and with time they will gain confidence and master the learning techniques that fit them best.

♦️Mars in virgo might care too much about pleasing their partner in bed and have a hard time receiving pleasure without giving anything. They might also feel self-conscious if they do not feel "clean" like not fresh out of the shower. It is important for them to practice letting go of their thoughts and doubts and be present in their body. They deserve pleasure as much as everybody else!

♦️ Jupiter in the 2nd house might have a very good self-esteem, if the moon and venus are not too afflicted. And if it is the case it helps the native deal with the harder aspects.

♦️ That's why it is so dangerous to interpret an aspect in isolation of the rest of the chart, a challenging aspect might be very beneficial in a chart and less in another one. For instance moon conjunct saturn might be more challenging for a Capricorn moon which is already quite controled and closed off, but in the sign of Aries it might help the native tame their impulsivity and control better their emotions.

♦️ Or moon square Uranus might be beneficial for a Capricorn moon or a Taurus moon as it might help them break out of their routine and become more adaptable and flexible to change.

Disclaimer, these are observations I have made through personal experience and thorough research, observations also vary depending on other synastry and natal placements involved! All of these aspects can be worked through, none of these aspects make or break a relationship ❤️

Lilith in the 7th house / conjunct descendant

♅ When women have their Lilith present in the seventh house in synastry, often times the house person can make the Lilith person feel shame just by loving who they are. The reason is because lilith in the charts of women is the area where society has convinced them is unnatural and wrong, something they should be ashamed of. So when the seventh house person who sees Lilith an an ideal desire and partner wants to love Lilith in the way they think is right, the Lilith person can pull away. Marriage is not seen as an appropriate act to follow a shameful relationship. Seventh house also represents open enemies, over time the Lilith person can resent the seventh house person. It’s typical for Lilith to pull away in these relationships in order to avoid any commitment.

♅ When a man’s Lilith is present in the seventh house in synastry, you’ll often notice they do not want to marry the seventh house counter part. Lilith in a man’s chart is the woman society has told him he should not pursue which only makes him want to chase her even more. It’s undeniable that the relationship is passionate, but it is also a sign that he does not intend to take the relationship seriously. Again, the seventh house is also the house of open enemies, the male Lilith can be very public with his intentions of not committing to the house person.

♅ I say this because Mars already has a hard time expressing its aggression or purpose in these signs, so when you take something that’s already confused and hand it to someone that will misconstrue your intentions to an even bigger extreme it becomes so draining.

♅ It’s like staying silent after an argument because you don’t know how to communicate your emotions, then the other partner sees this and thinks that your inability to work through these issues means you hate them. You just really have to hope the Mercury synastry is well aspected in this relationship😭

Sun square moon

♅ Moon typically views the sun to be someone who only indulges in their own pleasures and doesn’t seem to care about what others feelings. Often times the moon can feel as though the sun doesn’t understand or support them in endeavors that bring their inner child joy.

♅ The sun thinks the moon is irrational in its decisions and is too deep in thought to understand the suns true emotions. The sun is usually the most aware in this synastry that the moon is misconstruing it’s intentions, but is incapable of understanding how what they are saying is hurtful.

“ I want to start selling my paintings”.

“ well you’re not selling at that price, you know how much people like to lowball”.

“ maybe they’ll appreciate my art and buy full price?”.

“ moon, I wouldn’t buy a painting like that for more than 10 bucks, let’s be realistic here”.

♅ Moon person can be a push over the the relationship. To overcome this hurdle sun must be open to change, and moon must be willing to set boundaries and expectations. If not, there’s always going to be a nagging feeling in the pit of each others stomach where they know there’s an emptiness in your interactions.

Mercury square saturn

♅ Saturn person has a tendency to feel like the dominant partner in the relationship intellectually wise. They can feel like they have the wisdom and upper hand to teach the Mercury person about maturity and knowledge. However because it is in the tense aspect of the square, Saturn person has a habit of not understanding how Mercury has a way about going through things.

♅ Mercury is not only our communication but also our day to day mundane things. Saturn person can find a flaw in how Mercury spends their morning, their work habits, their food intake, how they do their hair etc. This can be frustrating to the Mercury person because they believe Saturn tends to nitpick everything the Mercury person does. The worst part of this synastry is Saturn can regard themselves too mighty and disregard the Mercury persons concerns which is where withdrawals can occur (Mercury tiptoeing around the issues and avoiding constant conflict with Saturn)

Pluto square Mars

♅ This synastry aspect can unfortunately have a great possibility of physical abuse. Pluto in one’s chart goes through intense transformations and changes that can be abrupt at times. An example could be, the Pluto person could go on a weight journey after overcoming a health problem that caused them to gain weight. The Pluto partner could expect of the Mars partner to join them in their new health routine, but the square between these two planets makes it evident they do not view this new change in the same way. Pluto can be angered with the mars partners lack of encouragement which in turn activates Mars’ aggression. Being the God of war, Mars will not back down when challenged which creates a back and forth conflict.

“ Can you get off your ass and take out the trash like you said you would.”

“Can you get off my ass and do it yourself, I’m the one who pays the bills around here.”

“I’m not taking disrespect from someone like you, I’ll leave you if that’s what it takes for you to see how badly you treat me.”

“Then leave.”

Moon square Uranus

♅ Unless the moon partner has natal moon/Uranus aspects, this aspect can be categorized as constant anxiety for the moon partner. There’s a lack of emotional stability and satisfaction which can be detrimental to the moon partner. It can feel like there’s finally a point in the relationship where you are both on the same page in life, but the Uranus counter part moves on to the next thing that causes turmoil in the relationship

♅ The reason this can be detrimental to the moon person is simply because the moon likes being in calm waters. The exaltion in Taurus indicates the moon likes to feel comfortable in the same spot for long periods of time, but when it’s aspected negatively by the Uranus individual it challenges the moon to constantly change its environment.

♅ Moon person can find themselves leaving the comfort of their home (not literally) in order to chase Uranus. Uranus finds themselves poking the hornets nest (Moon) to see how much independence from the relationship they can get away with.

Quincux signs

♅ When two signs are quincux (Virgo/Aries, Gemini/Scorpio, Aquarius/Cancer etc.) it’s difficult to understand what the other person is feeling. In sexual synastry (mars) , you both can have trouble understanding what pleases one another. With Venus signs, its a hard time understanding your love language.

♅ if one partners Sagittarius sun is quincux the other partners Cancer moon, it can feel to the moon person that the sun doesn’t even bother understanding the moons emotions, and it’s simply because the sun never even thought about what the moon person feels. Not because they’re selfish, but because they’ve never met someone who goes about their feelings like the moon.

♅ Aquarius mars quincux Virgo Venus. Mars partner can expect the Venus partner to allow them their own freedom and manage their own schedule while venus partner could be adamant about curating mars a monthly schedule to stick by which in turn can turn the mars partner off.

Quick Notes

♅ When one’s natal Saturn is negatively aspected and enters a persons 9th house in synastry, the Saturn person can seem to restrict the 9th house persons beliefs and knowledge. For example, turning the 9th house person religious/having them join a cult/demanding obediance of a woman (dispite previously potentially being more liberal.

♅ Negatively aspected natal saturn entering the money houses in synastry (2,8,11) can mean the saturn person takes away the house persons possessions/money. In the second house, they can refuse to buy you things because “you haven’t given them a reason to”/taking expensive things they’ve bought you back. 8th house, taking money your parents give you (allowances,inheritance) potentially disability checks if you receive those. 11th house, taking money from work you’ve done because of the connections they’ve given you that allowed your income to flourish.

♅ Negative Moon/Pluto can be stressful to have. Moon can open up to Pluto, and dispute being someone who isn’t shy of intense topics, if this relationships dissolves (due to other incompatible aspects) it can almost feel like “I just told you my deepest secrets, you can’t just walk away like I didn’t tell you the things that could ruin my life”.

♅ 12th house Neptune overlay. Ok this one’s a stretch but, if it gets to these deep rock bottom moments and you’re stuck in a room with someone who’s Neptune is badly aspected and it’s in your 12th house. Introduction to drugs/narcotics. Not the cool kind, I mean the one that has you sniffing the floor for snow ❄️

♅ Virgo mars man

♅ Malefics simultaneously in the 4th house and 9th house. Could lead to isolation from family and could potentially have you move away from any support systems.

Volatile Relationship Aspects 🫣

Of course all of the aspects include Mars ruler of Aries and the 1st house. Mars is how we fight, or deal with our anger, how we go after what we want, and our sex drive. So the following aspects not only cause a magnetic pull because of the "square" but also in some cases strong physical attraction. With these aspects there is a "thin" line between love (Venus) and hate (Mars). But let's be honest any connection where there is intentional or unintentional harm to someone mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally could be considered abusive and or toxic which results in negative relationship karma for one or both individuals involved. Just because you have these aspects in synastry does not mean that what is being shared will be your outcome. We never want to manifest negativity in our connections, but we also want to be aware of the energy that is possible. This is my observation from reading numerous charts and also my own personal experiences.

Mars square Chiron- Mars person's anger may trigger the Chiron person and or remind them of past situations or childhood buried subconscious trauma. Mars anger can cause the Chiron person to be traumatized or feel victimized all over again. Mars person is not doing this intentionally but Chiron's reaction may cause the Mars person to re-evaluate how their actions and words can hurt or trigger another person.

Mars square Mars- Strong physical and magnetic attraction but a connection where there are power struggles and ego battles. They have a different way of going about getting what they want, as Mars is the planet of assertion, and taking action, so they do not always agree and each feel like their way of doing things is the right course of action. This connection tends to be on again off again. Because they can't seem to stay away from one another, the way to mitigate this "square" is compromise and mutual respect for each other's differences.

Mars square Uranus- The Uranus person's erratic energy and outlook is exciting and stimulating for the Mars person in the beginning, but once the newness of the connection wears off and the energy does not stabilize, it is a cause for major frustration, anger and anxiety for the Mars person. This connection tends to be on again off again, as Mars anger is off putting and too much for the Uranus person, they do not understand it because they are just being themselves. The way to handle this "square" is for the Mars person to accept the Uranus person as they are and not try to control them or the connection. The Uranus person can stand to be more understanding that their unpredictable flighty nature is triggering for the Mars person. Communication about expectations is key at that start of this connection and during.

Mars square Ascendant- The Mars person is magnetically attracted to the Ascendant person's energy. There is a strong intense sexual attraction, and the Mars person is aggressive in their pursuit and approach. The Ascendant person may find Mars attractive but also at times can find Mars forwardness to be off putting and may begin to distance themselves or shut down which angers the Mars person. Or the Ascendant person may push back and assert their boundaries, which then causes power struggles and discord. The Ascendant person attracted this connection to learn how to speak up for themselves and not let anyone bully or intimidate them. I have had this aspect with two masculine's in the past who were very physically attracted to me but they could also be forceful and aggressive when it came to the bedroom. One masculine was very touchy feely from the start and did not respect the boundaries I put in place physically. As the Ascendant is the 1st house which is the physical body and Mars (Aries) rules the 1st House. I find that it does not matter what sign Mars is in, this aspect brings an aggressive energy towards the Ascendant, if there is other hard Pluto or Mars aspects in the chart like Mars square Mars, Sun square Mars, Sun square Pluto, Mars square Pluto, or Pluto square Ascendant, this can manifest as controlling behavior, jealousy, stalking, and verbal, physical and or ***ual abuse. Be careful and mindful.

Mars square Lilith- Mars is magnetically, and physically attracted to the Lilith person's energy and vice versa. Lilith is our raw, untamed feminine energy, she will not be controlled and will not bow down. This causes power struggles and discord between these two. Because of the volatile energy of both, there is a potential for things to get physical. This connection tends to be on again off again, this aspect is similar to Mars square Mars because of the ego battles and inability to stay away from one another, no matter how toxic it gets.

Mars square Mercury- This aspect causes constant miscommunications, misunderstandings, and verbal arguments. Verbal abuse and threats are not out of the ordinary for this aspect. Name calling and mind games can also be a thing. This aspect is highly toxic because communication is the back bone of all romantic connections. And the inability to not understand one another mentally, but also for it to cause such vitriol is unnerving.

Mars square Pluto- This aspect on the onset causes intense physical attraction to one another. Pluto tends to stir or even exacerbate Mars shadow side. Mars being the planet of physical action and Pluto the planet of transformation both are after one thing. Control. The goal is to obtain this by any means, even by means of physical force (in extreme circumstances) This connection is plagued with power struggles, conflict, and possessiveness, the toxicity is not one sided in this connection, both parties are equally conferrable. This connection tends to be on again off again, and it indicative of a love/hate relationship.

Mars square Sun- The Sun is our ego, pride, and self esteem, while Mars is how we go after what we want and how we deal with our anger. These are two bold masculine energies with the same goal in mind. Winning. Initially this aspect seems like a match made in heaven, because there is a lot of energy being generated as well as attraction. If there is mutual respect, this couple can be a force to be reckoned with, a power couple. If there is competition between them instead of working together, this will result in back biting, sabotage, and volatile power struggles, where neither individual is willing to back down. This aspect can turn two people into enemies if there are not soft supporting aspects to the Moon, Venus and or Neptune.

🔴 Moon square Jupiter in Synastry chart: I just didn’t enjoy that one as much. Especially if you have positive Moon Jupiter aspect in your individual Natal chart (sextile, trine), you are likely to not like this as much. Positive is that you can be much more realistic than usual and you have a very realistic grasp on who the person is. You don’t idealize them, put them on the pedestal. Negatives: there are a few actually, you probably live at a distance from each other or even whenever this person is in your home, you could feel like they are at times in a different place mentally, only physically present with you, but the mind is somewhere else. Likely not hanging out as much in each other’s home, usually out in the city exploring new places. A LOT of rationalizing of feelings happening. There is present the feeling of “false hope”. If this is a crush, person can do something really sweet, but in your mind you’re like “can’t have up hopes up”, because usually it’s just a kind gesture or they are being nice and friendly. You feel like exaggerating emotions or being overly dramatic is something that isn’t “allowed” or well accepted in this connection. Hence again rationalising emotions, feelings and gut reactions is likely to happen. Jupiter person feels like how Moon person expresses their feelings is just not one of the ideal traits they are searching for in the long run. This can also happen that Jupiter person might not want to move in with the Moon person. Jupiter person wanting to keep their own place or living on their own.

🔴 Mars sextile Mercury in Synastry chart: Mars person is usually more communicative. Mars person can also start majority of conflicts with Mercury person. Mars person might not like Mercury’s friends, on a few, if it’s positive aspects (sextile, trine). Mars person feels like Mercury person doesn’t communicate enough and not regularly enough with them. Mars person feels like they need to rationalize behaviour or reactions, which results in “walking on eggshells” with the Mercury person. Usually both like to resolve disagreement on the spot, right away and usually very quick resolution.

🔴 Mars trine Moon in Synastry chart: Mars person encourages Moon person to express their emotions more. Moon can feel peaceful when Mars person is arguing. Moon person react emotionally when Mars person is angry or voices disagreement. Likely working out together or just very active when visiting each other’s home. Both Mars and Moon person are very encouraging of each other to be expressive of needs and wishes directly and openly. Be mindful of unexpected pregnancies, you two are likely more fertile together than with other people!

🔴 Mercury in the 8th house in the Composite chart: Be mindful of the power of words in this connection. Because sometimes you may hurt each other with words so deeply that the wounds won’t heal. Positives: you encourage each other a lot of speak up your mind and the other person always wants to know what the other is thinking. Negatives: there can be outbreaks of anger, crying, accusations or an emotional breakdown at some point. But the thing is that this can be a positive as well, because you will feel like it’s “cleansing”, that you are not only letting go the argument with your person, but also previous past hurts, because you realize that those past feelings that you had as a past version of yourself don’t resonate with you anymore and that they are not relatable to you anymore. So like I said strong cleansing energy with this one, but it is on both ends happening, not just one person. Basically how the other person thinks helps to shape a newer, better version of yourself, you mature a lot. Try not to be too serious all the time, but also not to push their limits. More humour, joy is needed in conversations.

🔴 Venus in the 8th house in the Composite chart: The bond you have with this person really touches you on the inside. If it’s romantic, feelings for this person can scare you a little bit, because it can catch you off guard, when you are the least looking for a romantic connection or when you gave up. But when you cool off a little bit and become yourself again, you are likely to find this connection very positive and uplifting. Beware of placing too high of expectations on your person. If the connection is too intense at certain moments, try to keep your individuality and ground yourself, the person won’t go anywhere. Hey -- I miss doing these astro notes, it’s been- years? where have I been? forced into a rat race. I’ve lately been watching a lot of stand up comedies, timeless comedy movies, rush hour, the hangover, you name it, they don’t make shit like this anymore.
