Bill Converse - The Shape Of Things To Come

When we’re not listening to latin jazz and so on, we’re still very partial to some techno and acid. Bill Converse makes just the kind we dig, gritty but emotive, fresh sounds made with analogue hardware, drawing on early Detroit techno, Chicago house and acid.

Coming soon on Dark Entries Records, July 3rd to be precise, Converse’s sophomore (double) LP consists of 7 tracks recorded at home, straight to tape with no overdubbing, inspired by a creative back-and-forth with Josh Vance (Josua Dorje Ngodup), who provided feedback on each track he was sent in the form of artwork, in turn inspiring the next track Bill recorded.
