Firstly, happy pride month!!!! Secondly, I'm here to report that I am back to writing! After Chapter 3 released I took a few weeks break. I wasn't expecting it, but I took a break from writing in general, instead of just BA, which I wasn't expecting but I very much think I needed it lol

I've already got some things written, although most if it is stuff I moved from Chapter 3 into Chapter 4 because it made more sense pacing wise. I have written a few thousand words on top of that, though, as well as revising old pre-existing scenes to fit where they'll go in Chapter 4!

I think motorcycle Transformers are cool and I want more of them, but I also don’t like when they make female Transformers motorcycles as like, an excuse as to why they’re smaller and slimmer than the male characters. i genuinely think this whole entire scene was foreshadowing for what was about to come. the thing rella says, for sure, telling fidelio to live or else his treatment had been for nothing. in the end his survival from his infection had saved a family's life at a later date–with his chosen sacrifice, of course.

but i cant get over how these scenes play out. how basilio tells him to "keep up" immediately after junah says "ugh, you do know im not a child anymore"

basilio is winning their race. it wasnt supposed to be one to begin with, rella just wanted to know if del could manage running to make sure his foot was really okay, but still- bas was the one going forward.

hes not stuck in the past like del is. hes growing, meeting and trusting new people, questioning their cause in spite of how long they've worked for louis. del is the one that cant let go, especially not of his baby brother.
