TOUCH THIS MAN!

PLEASE

He needs it

He needs touch like he needs the air to breathe

He’ll turn into literal puddy in your hand if you do

Brush your fingers over his when handing him food

Pat his cheek, arm, shoulder, back

Brush your shoulder against his as you walk side by side

HOLD HIS HAND

PLEASE HOLD HIS HAND

I’m not asking I’m telling you to hold his hand or else this man will become the saddest puddle you’ve ever seen

And all of this is just your average day being friends with Polnareff

Once you two become an item he becomes like a baby koala he’s so clingy

He always needs a hand on you

Some sort of skin-on-skin 

He still doesn’t fully believe you want to be his partner let alone let him touch you

So whether it be his hand holding your own or his thigh pressed against yours as you two eat he needs to touch you

Would 100% be the type of partner to hug you from behind while waiting in any sort of line 

Would 100% want to follow you into the bathroom just so that he could keep holding your hand (and has definitely done so in the past)

Is honestly so terrified when you two have to go your separate ways for such things as going to the bathroom

Not only because he’s had less than pleasant experiences with those spaces thanks to enemy Stand Users

But because he is so utterly terrified that if he lets you go, you’ll disappear 

He’s dealt with enough heartbreak to last him two lifetimes so the thought of losing you is utter hell

He just needs to feel you to reassure himself you are still with him

Still with him and still breathing

Will press his ear over your heart sometimes to listen to your heartbeat

You struggled to unlock the hotel room door thanks to the multitude of food bags cradled in your arms. Somehow you had managed to pull the room key from your back pocket but now your grapple with unlocking the door and turning the handle without dropping the food was threatening your will.  The key slid into the lock,  pulling a bright laughing cheer from your lips at finally starting to win the battle set before. You grabbed for the handle of the door just as it turned, the door yanking open in a rush of air.  “Oh--” You said, taking a small step as you took back at the tall body that now stood in the entrance. Polnareff’s familiar face had your body easing and smile tugging bright once more at your lips. “Good morn--” You never got to finish your sentences before Polnareff’s strong arms were wrapping around your body, crushing you and the food against his chest.  “I woke up and you weren’t there and the others were gone as well and--and I--” Polnareff panicked into your neck, nuzzling his face against your skin as a shuddering breath shook his body. His hold tightened further as if to keep you glued to him. The sound of a plastic container crunching filled your ears, letting you know the food you had fought to keep from falling was getting crushed within his embrace.  You’re heart twisted in your chest at his utterly panicked state, the food’s destruction far from your mind as you all but dropped the bags. Your hands and arms were instantly wrapped around his neck, fingers brushing soothing circles into his skin.   “Mon amour, I-I didn’t know where you were.” He said in a voice smaller than that of a whisper.  “I thought I would be back before you woke up. I told the others to be here if you did but--forgive me. I should have taken you with me.” You whispered back, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. “I--Love, what do you need?” You asked, wanting the panic to leave him and for that goofy smile to return to his lips.  “Just…touch me…please.” It was a request you were more than happy to fulfill, pulling him ever closer into your hold.

If you ever need space, Polnareff is more than happy to give it to you

But that sad puddle he became when you went a whole minute without touching him while just being friends becomes an oh-so-sad ocean

The rest of the Crusaders are going to be teasing the hell out of the guy for being such a gloomy, near-sobbing mess

And speaking of the other Crusaders

They cannot stand how touchy you two are

The phrase “get a room”, among other things, is almost always spilling from their lips 

Oh boy and talking about lips

KISS THIS MAN

KISS HIM, PLEASE, I BEG THIS OF YOU

Give him soft kisses

Kiss him on his blushing cheeks, forehead, nose, ears, shoulders

Pepper this man in kisses 

And he is kissing you right back

Taking your hands in his and pressing kisses to your knuckles

He’s kissing the inside of your wrist as you sit on the train or at dinner

Kissing the top of your head as you walk

Just kisses everywhere, all the time

He likes to talk to you while his lips are touching your skin

Likes it even more if he can whisper sweet nothings in French against your own lips

You happily hummed as you ate, the soft, classical music floating through the bustling restaurant not the tune you had chosen to muse as spectacular spices and flavors brust over your tongue. A warm thumb brushed at the side of your mouth, clearing a bit of sauce from your skin. Your face began to feel warm at the touch, knowing exactly whose thumb had swiped over your skin.  You turned, finding Polnareff’s gray eyes already watching you. Eyes so full of loving adoration it took your breath away every time you looked into them.  “Did you get it all?” Your voice sounding near breathless as you took in his handsome, which a bright smile adorned. Polnareff hummed in mock thought, taking your chin between his fingers. He turned your face this way and that, searching for a mess that you knew was nowhere to be found. “Ah! There is some just there.” He said, guiding your face ever closer.  “Are you going to get it for me?” You asked, lips parting as your face was drawn closer to his.   “Of course, mon coeur.” He all but purred, turning that warmth into a burning fire. Your heart raced as he leaned into you, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. He hardly pulled away before you were grabbing hold of his shirt, keeping him close. “I--I think I feel some more. Just here.” You said, voice wobbling as you tapped your other cheek. Polnareff widely grinned, more than eager to place a chaste kiss to your other cheek. “And here.” You breathed, tapping your lips. A chuckle left Polnareff’s chest that grew muffled against your lips.   He kissed you sweetly. So sweet it had your heart melting and your stomach fluttering around like it had grown wings like some butterfly.  “Good grief.” The gruff voice of Jotaro grumbled from across the table where he sat.   “Mr. Joestar,” Kakyoin huffed, his typically smooth voice laced in utter disgust at you and Polnareff’s actions. “Please make them stop.”   “Me? Stop them?” The oldest Joestar all but shouted from where he sat at your side. Kakyoin must have nodded because Joseph gave a huffing grumble of his own. “Alright, you two. Knock it off. This place is nice--and in public.” He tried, to no avail.  You both ignored the group, lips pulling away only so you could pepper Polnareff’s face in kisses he was more than happy to return. Whispered Mon amours, mon coeurs, among other loving titles pressed into your skin making it tingle in delight. “Eh--see. They won’t listen to me.” Joseph huffed.  “I do not believe there is a power on this earth or in the heavens above that is strong enough to keep them apart.” The calm voice was Advol spoke from Polnareff’s side, a light chuckle in his voice.  A giggle escaped your lips at his words, nuzzling your nose against Polnareff’s. They were words you couldn’t help but full-heartedly believe as Polnareff cupped your jaw in his strong hand, kissing your lips like it was the last time he would ever taste them again.

If he’s driving the group, you better believe you're sitting shotgun so he can place a hand on your thigh, giving it gentle squeezes to remind you he’s always thinking about you

If Joseph is insistent about sitting in the front, Polnareff either refuses to drive outright or is reaching into the back to hold your hand much to Jotaro and Kakyoin’s displeasure

Will reach over one of the others to touch you

Has and will lead to a shouting match between Polnareff and the others

But he refuses to be so close to you yet so so far

He’ll even go as far as to send Silver Chariot to sit with you and hold your hand if he can’t be there with you

Though this has led to one too many Star Platinum beatdowns 

CUDDLE THE MAN

Oh my goodness PLEASE cuddle him

He’s so warm and his arms are so safe

Only one bed? 

No trouble whatsoever! 

Polnareff wasn’t going to sleep without you anyway

Only a few rooms left?

Polnareff and you have been deemed your own room because the others will not deal with your touchiness while trying to sleep mere inches away

Polnareff’s cuddle could save a life

It’s a fact

His fingers are rubbing circles into your back or arm

His face buried in the crook of your neck so he could take in your scent and dream of you while he sleeps

Whether it be a hug from the front or back, he has his arms around you while you sleep

His legs intertwining between yours, molding himself against you

He literally worships the ground you walk on so why wouldn’t he just want to become another extension of your being?

The only thing he won’t always want touched is his hair

He spent nearly an hour that morning in the dimly lit hotel bathroom getting it just right

And he loves you

GOD he loves you

He loves you so much it hurts

But his hair is off-limits until you both are settling in for the night

Then he is more than happy to let you run your fingers through his hair

He also won’t be completely opposed to you helping him style his hair in the morning, but you’ll need to go through several days of “training” before you can even touch one of his combs

Now i know that french people greet each other by kissing both of their cheeks, either just touching their cheeks together or straight up kissing each other's cheeks

Now, yandere stardust crusaders here. (Kakyoin, jotaro, joseph, avdol, aswell as polnareff)

I think polnareff will introduce these kind of greetings to reader, and now everytime reader sees polnareff they always have to kiss each other on the both of their cheek (50/50 that polnareff threatened/forces reader to do it lol)

I just know polnareff will use the excuse of it being only a greeting and nothing else to the others (other than to piss them off and make them jealous)

May we have a scenario or a headcanon about this please?, If you don't like it you ofc don't have to do it.

They will probably catch on and use the same greeting to reader, and now the whole group does it lol.

Hey something I learned ages ago in a French class ages ago finally comes in handy! *this will probably be used in my fic later on too, I’ve had this concept in the back of my mind for a while* I figured a general answer would be nice though Did it matter he had to “twist” your arm a little to get you to do it?, Not in this man’s opinion as his heart swells with joy, from getting you to commit to an affectionate act from his country. So when you look at him all flustered he’s eating your reaction all up, and no he won’t let you live it down either. It was a first step to blossoming romance (at least in his head).

“Couldn’t you have just told me something about the food, or how people have casual conversation? This isn’t what I meant by an interesting cultural bit, Polnareff” You told him

“Oh but it is an interesting one, sharing affection is an important cultural aspect all over the world, and being French we do things a little differently” He gave you the widest, cheekiest grin that you’ve ever seen on his face. You had clumsily walked right into an opportunity for Polnareff to take advantage romantically.

“Next time you should be a little more specific” he winked

You had zero clue about the cheek/kiss thing, and honestly you should’ve been suspicious from the start. This was just the beginning of the insanity.

It ends up being worse when you and Polnareff go off to meet the rest of the crusaders for lunch. Taking a quick detour you went to the bathroom before meeting them all at the table Joseph spotted.

Of course Polnareff wasn’t sitting down, rather he was standing by his chair, leaning ever so slightly on the back of it. The others were sitting, but of course the twenty four year old decided to wave you over. There was the lingering thought in the back of your head to just turn around and march back to the hotel room. Though you resigned yourself to keep walking when you felt the pang of hunger arises from your stomach.

“Y/n you finally made it!” the Frenchman gestured you over

Your eyebrows furrowed as you broke the distance between the two of you, the male leaning closer as you felt the infamous warmth of contact on your cheeks, one after the other. Begrudgingly you did the same on return before the chair was slid out and you sat in it.

Immediately a chain reaction started,

“Polnareff, what the hell was that?” Joseph nearly slammed his fist down on the table.

“Right in front of us too, is this normal for you?” Kakyoin chimed in

You could see Jotaro was annoyed but not in the same fashion you were to your chagrin. He looked a bit…envious if that made any sense. Avdol on the other hand looked puzzled yet intrigued

Polnareff shrugged off their condemnation without hesitation. Oh he was enjoying this alright, getting technical first dibs at an affectionate action?

“Don’t worry, it’s just a little greeting we French do when meeting one another we care about” He said this nonchalantly

“I see, that’s completely unfamiliar to me, I haven’t spent much time in France so I never got to encounter such an interaction” Avdol piped up.

Oh you wanted to die right then and there, but you had to restrain yourself from clawing the table like a cat. There was an atmosphere you could feel slowly oppressing you, they were probably jealous. No, it was nearly certain they were based on their expressions. The French male was absolutely beaming with pride, and smugness to no one’s surprise.

“That sounds rather nice actually, not just a single peck on the cheek but both sides” Joseph pondered out loud. Of course he would like the sound of that.

“Can we please just order lunch?” You groaned

The whole debacle ended up sealing your doom with the other crusaders. All of them were interested in what you did with Polnareff, so whenever you met up with one or two of them (or even all of them) it was a disaster. When there was the smallest downtime you could possibly have, you did your best to dodge interaction when possible.

Yet there were times you had Jotaro nearby pointing to one of his cheeks, if he was wandering around where you were. Kakyoin managed to squeeze himself into wherever you were entertaining yourself at. Joseph you had to obviously rely on monetarily and boy did he play up the act when you needed to ask about something. Avdol himself mostly did his thing when he saw an opportunity (a risk) that you shouldn’t be alone.

Polnareff still has a goofy smile every time you did this while meeting up at meal times.

This was going to be a long trip…

Thanks to Iggy's coincidental intervention, [Anubis] and the now busted sword has been condemned to spend the rest of eternity at the bottom of the river Nile to rust, never to harm anyone or possess anyone ever again. Everyone is taking a breather at the hotel they're staying at, recovering from the attack they just went through. Meanwhile Iggy is just staring at the setting sun, for what reason, nobody knows.

Iggy: *Staring at the sun, focusing and crossing his eyes* OvO Mmmmm...

Polnareff: *Crouching down next to him, he smacks him on the back of the head* Stupid mutt. What are you staring at? There's nothing to eat over there, flea bag. >:-)

Iggy: *Glares at the Frenchman* <_<* *He jumps onto his face just to grab on and fart on it, letting out a mischievous grin on his face* >:-3

Polnareff: *Disgusted* WHY YOU STINKING LITTLE- GAAAAH! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN EATING!? DX

Joseph: *Sitting at the table with Avdol and Jotaro, watching Polnareff and Iggy* Come on, Polnareff.

Avdol: *Tending to Jotaro's injuries* To think, all of that happened without us.

Joseph: You fought the [Anubis] Stand huh? That must've been rough, Jotaro.

Jotaro: Yeah, it was. *Looks at Polnareff, who is currently being smothered by Iggy* That's the last time I go anywhere with him.

Avdol and Joseph: *Nods in agreement* Hmm...

Polnareff: *Getting smothered* STOP IT ALREADY, YOU STUPID MUTT! GET THE HELL OFF MY FAAAAAACE! DX

Medea: *Opens the hotel window, grumpy and wearing the breathing mask* Hey you gobshites! Quit your bitching, I'm trying to take a nap in here!

Iggy: *Sticks his tongue at her* Meh! *Continues to smother Polnareff*

Polnareff: AAAAHHHH!!!

Medea: Uuugh! *Jumps out the window, walks to Iggy, and pulls him off with [Flogging Molly]* Ngh!

Iggy: *Pouts* Mmmm >3>

Polnareff: *Panting* Merci beaucoup.

Medea: *Blank* Don't mention it. *Puts Iggy inside the hotel window*

Jotaro: You knew about [Anubis], didn't you?

Medea: *Shifted uncomfortably* ......I may have sensed his presence when he was active.

Joseph: DIO stole [Anubis] from a museum, and she got possessed months ago.

Medea: JOSEPH!

Joseph: What? That's what you told us!

Medea: Well, you didn't have to tell him that!

Joseph: *Smiling but irritated* Well technically he is my grandson who just got carved like a Christmas ham by the little bastard, so he had every right to know. ^_^*

Medea: *Sighs irritability* Whatever, I'm going back to sleep.

Joseph: *Uses [Hermit Purple] on her ankle* Oh no you don't, you're not screwing up you're sleep schedule on us.

Medea: *Kicks it off of her* Ah! You can't tell me what to do, you're not my dad!

Joseph: No, but I sure as hell wish I was, that way I can ground your ass for how you've been acting lately.

Avdol: Medea, keep your door open.

Medea: Yeah, yeah.... *Sees her backpack was on the ground again* What the-...? *Sees that her bag is moving, realizing Iggy is going through it again, causing her to panic.* AHH! NOT AGAIN!

All the men: *Looked inside* Huh?

Polnareff: Goddammit Iggy, quit stealing her shit!

Medea: *Takes off her sneakers and throws them at Iggy* GET OUT OF THERE, YOU LITTLE PERVERT!

Jotaro: Well, it was her fault for letting him inside.​​​​​​​

Iggy: *Leaves the bag with another pair of panties on his head and a small purple "wallet" in his mouth, snickering* >:-3

Medea: YOU THIEF! *Chases him* I'LL KICK YOUR ASS! *Iggy jumps over her head and through the window, Medea followed him out* GIVE THOSE BACK!

Joseph: Whatever Iggy just stole, he sure doesn't wanna let it go.

Medea: *Tackles him to the ground* GAH! *Pulls on her "wallet"* Spit it out! SPIT IT OUT RIGHT NOW!

Iggy: *Pulling back* Grrrrr!

Medea: I SAID SPIT! IT! OUT! *Pulls it out, but Iggy's teeth tore the "wallet" open, causing a bunch of pink colored packets to fly out, one of them hit Polnareff in the face* OH NO! *Embarrassed, she quickly grabs them and shoves them in her baseball cap*

Avdol: *Covers his mouth in shock* OxO

Joseph: *Horrified, recognizing them* Oh my god. O_O

Polnareff: *Picks up the packet that hit him, his face immediately turns tomato red when he realizes what it is* O///O

Jotaro: *Takes it from Polnareff* What the hell?

Medea: *She sees Jotaro holding one and runs to him* DON'T TOUCH THOSE! *Swipes it out of his hand and shoves it in her cap*

Jotaro: What are those?

Medea: MIND YOUR BUSINESS, JOJO! *Runs back to the hotel, angrily yelling inside:* I'M GOING TO KILL THAT MUTT!

All the men: *Awkward silence*............

Jotaro: What was all that about?

Polnareff: ........Jotaro, be honest: do you have a sister like I have?

Jotaro: Hm?

Joseph: ....*Claps hands once* Boy, we're seriously going to have a LONG talk.

Jotaro: About?

Avdol: *Holding a biology book* Women.ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ

for once after the trip to eygpt (though it had been well over a decade since then), jotaro regretted following your every whim. standing in a crowded cafe while people stared at him and his still-healing arm stuck in a sling, you were instead being chatted up by a minisclue pothole of a man.

and you were giggling. giggling, which you never did with even kakyoin or polnareff or avdol or his grandfather. you reserved your giggling for all the times he decided to be "tsundere" and mean about how he was feeling, and he willed the fire in his stomach to simmer and extinguish itself, because you were only friends. nothing more, nothing less.

and after jolyne? his ex-wife? no, he was not willing to take this risk again. but the way his chest tightened every single time you laughed with a man that was not him- it was dumb, stupid, illogical? what would be next? chain you up in a room forever? you, the person who grabbed his hand and shook it firmly, telling him you'd always have his back?

"jotaro!" you smiled. when had you made your way towards him? "you okay? too loud?" jotaro shook his head. "no. but rude of you to keep waiting for so long. i have my fucking arm in a sling." you laughed at that, hugging him before leading him to a table. "who was he?"

"hmm?" you looked at him, confused. "the man you were talking to." you stared at jotaro for a minute before a gentle smile graced your lips. "are you jealous, mon jojo?" jotaro scoffs, but refuses to say anything else as you take his large hand in yours. "you've got nothing to worry about," you said softly, leaning into him just enough to make him feel grounded again, before kissing him close enough to his lips before smiling. "i chose you."

Welcome~! Here you'll find a (hopefully up-to-date) Collection of our masterlist and rules page. Thought it was high time to finally give this page a bit of a revamp - if you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer!

RULES🧡

Please specify if you'd like a hc, drabble or fic - if there's no specification I'll just pick a format at random, usually hcs! Also my default for requests is gender neutral unless a gender is specified.

Feel free to request multiple characters from multiple parts! Just please keep in mind when requesting that the more characters per request the longer it may take me to write. Don't be afraid to send multiple requests too as I'm always up for a challenge.

If you have any questions at all don't be afraid to reach out and I'll be happy to clarify whatever you need. My posting may be a little inconsistent btw as I'm only able to write in my free time due to work so please bear with me if requests take a little longer than expected to complete.

Any requests or posts with potentially triggering content will be tagged accordingly with a big warning at the beginning - if you find any that aren't just let me know and I'll rectify that immediately. If I'm not comfortable writing for a particular topic or subject I'll make a note here as and when they crop up.

I write both NSFW and SFW, so expect to find both on this blog if you have a read through.

For Matchups - please include a small description of your preferences, hobbies, as well as a specific part (EG, part1 or 2 and so on) of Jojo you'd like to be matched for! This will give me a better idea of who I'd match you with, and make narrowing down a character a lot easier! (Especially with how many characters there are in the series as a whole!) The more information that you include, the better I can work to tailor it to you~!

I also do platonic matchups as well! Just be sure to mention that you'd prefer to keep it platonic in the ask!

Hey! I haven’t been on tumblr for probably over a decade at this point, so this is my first post introducing myself to get back into it!

My name is Bea! I’m Canadian, 25f, Pagan, bi and used to be a full time artist (polymer clay, jewelry, painting, drawing, etc). I’ve always liked writing self insert fanfics for my own enjoyment when I can’t find a fic to scratch a particular itch, and always thought it would be fun to run an ask blog where I can take requests or post my own hcs, drabbles/oneshots, and even some art for my favourite characters!

My current 24/7 obsession is JJBA, especially Golden Wind, and specifically, Leone Abbacchio. My favourite parts are 3 and 5 and I’m currently on part 6 of the anime! Other anime’s I love are Fruits Basket, Dragon Ball, Darker than Black, Inuyasha and much more that I cannot think of atm.

I also love Buffy, The Boys, and have been enjoying Invincible and most recently The Bear! I love video games and I’m a huge Nintendo nerd - Twilight Princess is my favourite game of all time and I love LoZ and animal crossing! Also love stuff like Stardew Valley and casual horror games. Baldurs Gate 3 and DND stuff are super awesome too. As far as music goes, I’d say I’m an alt/punk rock gal but here are my favourite bands: MCR, Nirvana, Sublime, Gorillaz, One-Eyed Doll, Evanescence. I do also indulge in late 90’s/2000’s pop!

You said you liked to share BNGN trivia, so you got any tidbits?

some assorted trivialities (spoilers for a fanfic up to the latest chapter):

the fic was originally envisioned (and partly written) as a series of drabbles! if i had kept that going, it would currently be 5,376 drabbles long.

tiramisu was written into the outline entirely as bait/tribute to my partners, who are big siamese fans. she is now the most popular oc i have ever made for anything. i considered writing an origin story fic for her back when there was a jjba oc zine in the works, but it fell thru and now it only lives in my head. it involves multiple murders : )

bngn is not phf-compliant bc i did not want to read it. to make up for this i promise to find other horrible things for fugo to go through instead <3

probably not news to anyone by this point but here is some explicit confirmation: the first prologue that opens the fic is not about doppio

there are so many cases of foreshadowing in the form of jokes or joke-adjacent statements at this point that i cannot actually remember them all. if you see me make a silly comment in this fic there is at least a 20% chance it's actually a very sneaky mean comment hiding behind the linear progression of time

when i first drafted the outline act 3 was much much shorter and had a few drastic differences. one of these was that polnareff (or at least one of him) would have survived to support the gang much as he does in the original VA, but i could not think of anything fun for him to do that didn't detract from everything else, or at least nothing more fun than the inexplicable spectacle of two dead polnareffs after all of the build-up towards him. rip, rip.

speaking of fun: i wanted to have every major character get at least one really cool moment, regardless of how central they were to the story. i didn't want anyone to feel like you could cut them out completely and it wouldn't matter, i wanted to keep that ensemble feel of VA and give everyone room to affect the story in important ways, even if the fic still obviously has its focusses. of the ones i've published so far, i think i like mista's intervention in the Trish & Dop vs Fugo fight best out of those moments because i just had so much fun writing and visualising it and he felt like a natural fit to provoke fugo's own position in the story as a person fixated on the objective facts (which he was canonically Not Wrong about, in terms of sticking with bruno being a dubious plan for anyone fond of staying alive) to face off against someone who operates more on vibes and rolling the dice.

way back in the depths of drabble-draft the flashbacks were going to occur chronologically, followed by the present day stuff. but as i became aware that this was growing into something i realised that this would be stitching two pretty drastically different fics together back to back, and decided instead to use the current format. in theory this was purely going to allow me to show doppio's relationship with diavolo alongside his absence from him, so we can see simultaneously why he values and misses him so much and what he's becoming without him. in practice it led to a bunch of smaller changes that built up into, among other things, the premise of the entire canon divergence. technically, all of the flashbacks in act 1 and 2 "take place" during ch. 30. there is an implication to this that so far nobody has commented on ;)

i spent an amount of time researching macdonalds in italy that i will never ever get back

speaking of researching things that don't matter to anyone but me: everywhere a major scene happens is based on a specific spot i hand-picked on google maps. i roamed a lot of italian countryside via satellite trying to find the Exact kind of big, ugly, concrete-floored farm i had in mind for the first secco fight

technically this fic (or at least the extended universe around it) has sorbet and gelato VA-style origin stories to go with their fanstands (which i had a lot of fun with, workshopping around ideas for things that would make for excellent and suitably juicy assassination tools but vulnerable in a stand vs stand battle). much like tiramisu, so does my second stand-using oc brodo (who also cameos in 'I Think We're Alone Now', because skulking around trying not to be noticed is his speciality) the third, katarina, is only mostly goncharov-inspired, and Heart of Glass was originally going to be one of the chapter titles for this fic. another song with a very similar title still will be!

i had no intention of narancia being as big a presence in the fic as he was, but the longer i wrote the more i realised that he's just too fun to put in a room with doppio. the scene where he accepts the truth made me feel genuinely like a bit of a horrible person because i'd enjoyed building up their friendship so much and it was one of those chapters where i knew Exactly what the character would want to do and exactly why it would be the thing that would hurt them the most.

when i was hammering out the outline for what would become this fic an artist i had been following released a song that i put on in the background while i wrote, and then stopped writing and went back to listen to it properly twelve or thirteen times because it was eerily vibing perfectly with some of the themes i had been kicking around in my head trying to make something out of. it put a few seeds in my head in the way that some things serendipitously do, so much so that i almost named the whole fic after it. in the end, i decided to affix it to just one chapter where i felt it would best set the tone for the imminent descent to come. that chapter would be chapter thirty-eight.

No one touches him and you are included….for a time

You respect his boundaries

And you hold back your desire to touch him even when your fingers and heart itch to feel over his skin

But damn does he make it hard because why is he one of the clingiest assholes you’ve ever met?

He’ll grumble and huff and hiss at you to stop touching him

But then he’s got his hands on you like they might just be another part of him

Is his touch necessarily romantic in the typical sense?

Hell no

But he’ll be pushing you out of the way of danger or of someone not paying attention on the sidewalk

He’ll shove your head down in the heat of battle

He’ll wrap his body around you to shield you from harm

He’s grabbing your upper arm and guiding (pulling) you around

Grabbing the back of your neck to do the same thing

IF, and that’s a very big if, he grabs your hand it's gonna be a little too tight and it’s only going to happen so you don’t fall off a cliff or stumble into the road

He’ll brush his arm against yours, hands shoved into his jacket pockets, as you two walk side by side

You feel the chill of his fingers brush over yours as he passes you something

He is pretty much the decider on when the two of you touch

But he’ll allow you to pick his hat up during the rare moments it's knocked off

He’ll even let you put it back on (but if the other Crusaders are teasing him too much, his hat will be snatched from your hand and hand swatted away)

He lets you straighten his jacket and dust it off

He will grumble the whole time you do so

But guys he’s the biggest softy on the inside, it's a fact

Expect Star Platinum to actually be the clingiest 

like he beats Polnareff for the most sappy partner award

Star Platinum can almost always be found holding your hand, hugging you tight, and nuzzling his face into your neck

Get ready for kisses planted to your lips and cheeks and forehead from the Stand

Kisses you are unfortunately almost always knocked onto your ass by because the big guy doesn’t understand you can’t spot him as he’s whizzing up to you faster than any bullet

Platinum brings you little gifts he finds, holding your hands in his before revealing it to you

Jotaro hisses and snaps at his Stand to leave you the hell alone….but it doesn’t have any real bite to it

Because he can feel you through Platinum’s touches and it makes his stomach all fluttery like he’s some love-sick idiot

Jotaro watches as Star Platinum nuzzles your cheek with his nose, pulling a wonderful giggle from your lips. He grits his teeth in annoyance as he watches his Stand wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you off your feet like he’s an overgrown toddler. 

It was embarrassing. 

Jotaro had been able to gain complete and utter control over his Stand in the short time he appeared, yet here he was completely and utterly out of control of the damn thing. 

Jotaro thanked whatever god might be floating around up there that none of the other Crusaders were around to witness another one of Platinum's disturbances. To watch you run a hand over Platinum’s cheek and nuzzle him right back. 

Touches Joatro could feel ghosted over his skin. Touches he was growing more and more pissed off were being gifted to his fucking Stand. 

The line in the sand was when your lips pressed an overly, smooching kiss to Platinum’s cheek. It sent Jotaro into an angered frenzy. 

He stormed over, grabbing you a little too roughly out of Platinum’s grip and all but wrestling the damn thing to disappear back into himself. 

“Jotaro--he wasn’t doing anything--”

“Would you shut the hell up?” He hissed, grabbing your cheeks in his hand and forcing you to look up at him. You felt your breath halt in your throat at the beauty of Joatro's face. A beauty that only was amplified by his sharp, green eyes bearing down into you. “Platinum needs to learn some fucking manners.” And then he was letting you go. The absence of his strong hold and presence left you feeling a little disappointed, but you only smiled Joatro’s way teasingly.

“Oh…I see.” You murmured, crossing your arms behind your back as you turned on your heels, starting for the location where you were meant to meet the others. Joatro was quiet as you walked. Quiet until he was grabbing your upper arm and pulling you to a stop in a way that made your heart begin to flutter all over again. 

“See what?” He demanded, that ice beginning to fill his eyes. Ice and that look you had seen only moments ago. You smiled, bringing a hand up to smooth down his jacket which had gotten a little ruffled. 

“You’re just jealous of the poor lug,” Joatro growled, letting you go quickly. 

“Good freakin’ grief.” He huffed, pushing past you in a way that allowed his arm to brush along yours. You couldn’t help but giggle at him, quickening your pace so that you could walk beside him. To keep your arm brushing against his here and there. 

“Yep. Jealous.” 

If you are ever paired up with him and Kakyoin at a hotel, he’s going to be up in your grill and blame it on the close quarters (you all literally almost have a whole suite like--he can lie to himself but you see what he’s doing)

While you brush your teeth he’s going to brush his teeth and he’s going to have his chest pressed against your back to “let Kakyoin move around behind him” 

He’ll roughly scrub toothpaste off your lips if there is ever any and grumble about how messy you are 

Kakyoin doesn’t say much about the stolen touches he witnesses Jotaro give your way

He’ll just smile and chuckle softly (and definitely will throw you a thumbs up while Jotaro has his back turned)

A debate about who is sleeping where is going to happen and you're going to have to convince Jotaro to just sleep with you instead of on the floor

 Again, he’ll grumble out a “good grief” or two as he pulls himself into bed, arms crossed over his chest and back turned to you

But throughout the night, he’ll gruffly turn around

his leg will press against yours

His arms will uncross and his fingers will play with the edge of your shirt until he works up enough nerve to toss his arm around your waist

Then he’ll be shameless in tugging you against his chest and holding you protectively

His chin will rest on top of your head 

And with his new openness, you’ll be allowed to wrap your arms as best you can around his hulking form

Please run your fingers over his shoulders and back

Please wrap your legs around his

Pleaseeee run your fingers through his wavy hair and over his cheek

It’s the only time he’s going to let you touch him so blatantly so take as much of it as you can

He will fall asleep against your smoothing touches and unfortunately will become like a cinderblock 

Don’t expect to be able to escape his arms, I hope you used the bathroom before going to bed

You stir awake with a soft inhale of breath. Your body was held oh so tight against the solid form of Joatro, who you found once you fluttered your eyes open. A face so soft in the early hours of the morning and whose green eyes were already open and watching you. 

His eyes shifted from a look that was filled with such love it took your breath away back to their usual guarded hardness. You could only feel grateful you had been able to catch the look. One you so rarely saw but felt through his actions every day. 

“Morning.” You whispered softly, grip around his large frame growing tighter as you felt him begin to shift. You knew you would only get so many more seconds on this before he was rising from bed, grumbling about how clingy you were and clingy you would be until he did so. 

“You gonna let go?” He huffed, hands finding their way to your waist to shove you away. You shook your head, scooting ever closer. So close you could nuzzle your nose against his in a way that made him all but hiss. 

“Nope.” You said, popping the ‘p’. “Kakyoin is still asleep, no one is gonna see me snuggling you.” You said quietly as to not wake your friend up in the other bed. Joatro said your name in warning, but you could tell he didn’t mean any of it. Not when he had stopped trying to pull you off of him, muscles relaxing as you splayed your fingers over his back. 

“Just a little longer…I’m still asleep, see.” You said, pretending to fall back asleep. Jotaro sighed through his nose but said nothing further. Said nothing as he rewrapped his arms back around you, pulling you tight against his chest. 

“Five more minutes and that’s it.” You smiled against the gray shirt he wore, breathing in his scent as you savored every last bit of this you could. 

You two will only kiss in private 

Like far away from the other Crusaders and behind a locked door private

He will not be caught kissing you at this stage in his life 

It’s not because of you at all (though sometimes it can feel like it), it’s because he’s honestly so nervous and trying to keep his tough guy “I don’t give two shits” persona up

And while he’s kissing you, even if it's a simple kiss to the cheek, he can’t promise himself that persona isn’t going to slip

After the events with DIO and his Stand Users, Jotaro has changed

You all have

He’s seen death--been death

So expect him to hold your hand now

Expect him to hold your hand and hold you close so that he can keep you safe

Expect hugs that could last hours while no one is looking

Expect to wipe burning tears that somehow escape his eyes away from his flushing cheeks as he tries to keep himself composed--to not think of everything that had happened in Egypt

Will call you in the middle of the night and beg you in his own, gruffingly unique way to come over so that he can sleep next to you (But expect to wake up before the sun ever rises and get kicked out so his mother doesn’t find out)

He’ll let you touch him whenever you wish now

You’ll be able to rub his back and caress his cheeks and brush that strand of hair out of his eyes

Your touch helps keep him grounded and in this reality

Helps him remember that you are still alive 

Will still 100% grumble and keep that tough persona up (might even bat your hand away but there is no backing to it at all, just a reflex)

But you get away with much much more now

A/N: Hey nonnie! I have no idea when this came in but hopefully it hasn’t been too long. I made a drabble like thing since it would be too long to be a headcanon. Hope you enjoy! It worked out that the reader is gender neutral so it’s E for everyone!

You had no idea that meeting a group of huge ass men would have quite the impact on your life. You tagged along with Jotaro and crew because you had been orphaned by one of Dio’s minions 

That’s probably what caused you and Polnareff to hit it off so easily. You both knew how it felt to lose those you loved, when you were around him you felt less alone. He always brightened your mood. Despite all he’d been through it didn’t stop his personality from coming through

He was quite the flirt and you had to admit at first it caught you off guard. Later though, you also started to subtly indulge him. You’d find excuses just to be around him, you’d sneak into his tent to talk about your day, etc.

It was one particular moment that changed the dynamic though. You needed some supplies and thought to go into the market. You saw numerous couples and people but something caught your eye. A mother was with her son, she picked him up from the ground and held him firmly against her chest.

The scene brought out a yearning you didn’t realize you had. The desire to be held closely. The desire to be encapsulated in the warm embrace of a loved one. You didn’t know why but suddenly you were exhausted and you made your way back to the base.

You don’t know what came over you but you immediately went over to Polnareff and wrapped your arms tightly around him. He stiffened at the sudden contact but quickly placed his arms around you.

”You okay cherie?” He looked down at you out of concern. You nodded. “Just haven’t hugged someone in awhile. I wanted to remember how it felt.” You felt his chest reverberate as he gave a chuckle.

”Ah! Well, I’ll be more than happy to be your designated hug buddy. Come to think of it I can’t remember the last time I myself hugged someone so this is nice.” After that you two became pretty well-versed in casual touches.

You’d lean onto his shoulder if you two sat next to each other or you’d play with his hair. He didn’t mind. Although, you were a bit frustrated he didn’t notice you were being a little more than friendly when touching him at times.

You thought on how you could make it any more obvious and came up with an idea. It had gotten pretty late this day and everyone else had made their way to their tents, save for you and Polnareff. You and him were talking and you slowly made your way closer to where he sat.

You were leaning on him when you suddenly got up and sat so you were straddling his lap. From the light given off by the fire you could see a tinge of red make its way across his cheeks. “Y/N, what are you doing?” His voice was hushed.

“Well obviously I’m in your lap.” You said matter of factly. He looked at you and raised his brown amused at the boldness of your answer. “I can see that, but my question is why?”. You rolled your eyes and gave out a sigh. “Jean Pierre Polnareff I like you, that’s why!”

“Oh. Me too” That was all he could say. You laughed before speaking. “You know for someone who calls himself a flirt you get quite flustered don’t you. Anyways, are you gonna kiss me or what?”

He quickly composed himself after those words “Say no more mon amour”. The next thing you felt were his soft lips against yours. You sighed into the kiss and could feel his smile tug yours upwards. 

You slowly pulled away and rested your forehead against his. “I hope there’s more where that came from.” He took your chin in his hands and pressed his lips  against yours for another swift peck. “Who said I was finished.” He smirked and picked you up taking you into his tent.

the golden sun rays blanketed your eyelids, causing you to open your eyes. your boyfriend, polnareff, was still sound asleep next to you. a smile creeped it’s way on to your face as you felt your lover’s big, strong arms wrapped around your waist. since it was winter, you didn’t mind having his warm body so close to you. but when did you ever mind him being close to you?

the sun shone on his silver hair, making it seem almost like it was glowing in the morning sun. he was a pretty sleeper, but also a very clingy one. that didn’t seem to be much of a problem for you, though. 

he shuffled slightly next to you before opening his pretty blue eyes. he looked up at you with a sweet smile spread across his lips. “good morning, mon cheri,” he said.

“good morning,” you replied, lifting your hand to stroke his cheek. he moved his head up to place a soft kiss on your lips. you turned your head to look at the clock on your nightstand. 10:45 AM. damn, had you really let yourself sleep in that long? 

you kissed his forehead one more time before sitting up to get out of bed. you felt a tug at your arm, and looked down to see your drama queen of a boyfriend pouting at you. “come on, why do you have to get up now? just a few more minutes, please,” he pleaded.

you rolled your eyes playfully at him. “i would love to lay here with you all day, pol, but i have things to get done,”

he groaned, grabbing you harder and pulling you towards him. “but, but,” he stammered, “you’re so soft and warm, i don’t want you to move.” he was giving you his “puppy dog” eyes, and he was damn good at it. you knew it was all an act, but you fell for it every time.

“fine. but just because you’re so damn cute.” you finally gave in. he laughed, pulling you all the way back into the bed with him. he wrapped his arms and legs around you, peppering kisses all over your neck and cheeks. you were both giggling like crazy, and any bit of annoyance had left your body. you couldn’t help but give into him. maybe taking the day off wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

“You’re really into that book aren’t you.” He motioned to the thick novel in your hands. You chuckled.

“Yes, yes I am.” You closed the cover, thumb holding your place. It read ‘The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring,. 

“Interesting name, I’m not sure we have anything like that in France.” He observed the art on the cover.

“Oh, I’m sure you have something similar. Every culture has their own version of fantasy.” You told him. You removed your thumb from inside the book and handed it to him, “Would you like to read it?” Polnareff gasped, absolutely flattered.

“I would love to.” He took the book and held it up, examining it carefully as if he’d never seen a book before. What a weirdo.

“I will treasure each word I lay my eyes upon.” He held it to his chest. You laughed, nudging him with your elbow/

“It’s not as special as you think, silly.” You turned in your seat so that your knees were against his.

“It absolutely is!” He looked at you, almost offended. You leaned your head back. not expecting him to be so dramatic.

“If you say so, mister.” You leaned in to give him a peck on the tip of his nose. He blinked quickly, not expecting the gesture.

“You’ll get a kiss every chapter you finish.” You spoke again, pecking his cheek before standing up, planning on getting some lunch. He immediately opened the book, his eyes moved rapidly across the first few pages.

You giggled before walking away. He’d love it. With a brain like his, he’ll get lost in it.
