Should I get a PS Vita?

I’m tossing around the idea of getting a Vita. Obviously from Craigslist or somewhere because my max is $100. Here’s some games that are influencing my decision:

Persona 4 Golden - I have P4 on PS2, but I only got about 50% through it. I really like it, but setting aside the time to sit down and get some meaningful progress is tough. Also I've heard Golden has some nice extra elements (too bad Chie's VA changed)

Rogue Legacy - Love it on PC, would love it on the go on Vita

Soul Sacrifice Delta - I'm interested in the hunter genre of game, and this one really draws me to it. A little darker theme and more modular levels are what stick out to me

Some others I might pick up are Binding of Isaac, Super Stardust Ultra and Gravity Rush. So, to any Vita users that will see this, do you think it's worth picking up? Anything I should know when getting one? What are your favorite Vita games?

Purchased a PAP-K3 Plus from Amazon UK, while it is based off of the PSP, it’s quality isn’t the same so this is my review of it.

The console comes with the following items. 1pc Console - White. 1pc TV out/AV Cable. 1pc USB Charging Cable. 1pc User Manual.

It advertises Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter and Metal Slug on the box, Street Fighter and Metal Slug are the only ones built-in, out of the advertised images on the box.

It has some spelling errors and mislabeled games on the console, The Punisher just being called Publisher for some reason, the manual is riddled with them too

The Console itself has L/R Triggers, A PSP style Thumb Stick, A D-Pad, 4 Buttons, Vol+ and Vol- buttons, Start and Select which when pressed together brings up an in-game menu for Settings, A small power button, Headphone Jack, Micro SD Card Slot, USB Charging port, a HD DV Camera, also supports multimedia, And a Reset button which I hope I don’t have to use.

The console has 653 games in total, there’s 32 unsorted games listed on the menu of the console for some reason, I guess it’s like a featured games menu.

I did try out some games and test their performance , here’s the lowdown on it. 1. GBA (95 Games) ran fairly decent but had some slowdowns and sound lagged behind, Playable though 2. GameBoy/Colour (41/30 Games) has a very tiny amount of lag but that affects music/sound more than anything, there is an annoying graphics glitch as the right side of the screen in these emulators but I’m unsure if it’s hardware based. 3. Mega Drive/Genesis (142 Games) seems to run rather well, screen seemed to slightly glitch but nothing game breaking. 4. Game Gear (6 Games) Seems to run flawlessly from the game I tested. 5. SNES/SFC (55 Games) Slight Graphical errors in some games but it’s when you use power ups mostly, runs okay. 6. NES/FC (145 Games) appears to have the save graphical errors that Gameboy has, runs fine and plays goodly though. 7. NEOGEO/CPS (72/27 Games) Runs fairly alright apart from some slight slowdowns in certain games, Sound is a bit jittery from time to time though.

Now the games are fully tested onto the main features of the device itself. 1. Camera, it’s not great truthfully but you get what you pay for, my one turned black and white after 10 seconds of use, dunno if I turned a filter on or if it was breaking. 2. Music Player, I tried the stock music and it sounded decent through the speakers, not high quality but decent enough to listen to. 3. Video Player, I decided to try the stock videos again, this time I was given some terrible music video of some woman singing, quality was okay but I wouldn’t say HD or 720p. 4. Picture Viewer, not really much to say apart from you can view pictures with it. 5. Ebook Reader, I tested it with the stock files it came with and it seemed to work. 6. File Browser and Microphone, I put these both together because they do what you’d expect really, although I couldn’t figure out how to get the microphone to work.

If I had to fix anything with this device then it’d be the terrible placement of the speaker and the L/R Triggers because those feel absolutely terrible, the Thumb Stick is god awful too, D-Pad and buttons are fairly decent though.

The console has a Save State feature called Instant Archive, this alone makes it better in my opinion

If I had to rate this device then I’d give it 6.6/10, Not a terrible console but I wouldn’t pay as much as I did for it, get it at 16.00-23.00 if you can, I would post a List of the Games but that would be too bloody massive for here.
