I overplayed three reference photos of my posing figures in order to try to get this complex composition correct. (I even added wire arms to one doll). I had to do several edits to the figures yet still, such as longer necks, Medusa’s longer arms, and actually shortening the wire arms which I made too long. It was a lot of work, but the photo base helped. I've had some wonderful art block for a while, and I sat down on my couch today, iPad in hand, kitty cuddled next to me, to finally draw that cover for my book that is holding it up. And nothing. So, I took the @stickbones.pose figure that has been lying on my coffee table for the last week waiting to help me draw that cover, and I played around with it. Yeah, no particular care was given in the make of this animation. I just held my phone camera and started moving the figure around. I did a little clean up to fix the relative frame sizing and rotation when I imported the individual images into @lumafusion making everything a bit better, but you get out what you put into it. One day I might have the patience to do a proper animation with this awesome figure, but that requires me to actually build up that patience ... and keep the kitty at bay.
