So, I'm playing Slay the Princess(Yes I started it because Jonny Sims. I LIKE HIS VOICE OKAY?!) and I'm simultaneously comforted by and slightly uncomfortable over how familiar it is to how it sounds in my own head. The different yet similar voices arguing with one another. Bickering about what the best course of action is or actually agreeing with each other and striking up a friendly chat. A lot of my friends believe I am likely part of a system. I myself am not entirely convinced, but I'm not completely dismissive of the idea either. But, regardless, I have people I talk to in my head who even occasionally pop in to give advice or just narrate for some reason. It's almost comforting having what it sounds like in my own head being in a relatively popular game. It makes me feel less alone. It make me feel like I have the option that, if someone asks what I mean by "different voices" talking in my head, I can tell them "Play a little through Slay the Princess. It's like that." And I won't have to struggle to find words to explain. It's nice. Kind of uncomfortable at times, but nice regardless.

I used to have some sort of DID/OSDD or maybe I was gaslighting myself into it. Idk, but like there were voices/ppl in my head and I named them and sometimes I’d be them. I also don’t remember a lot of stuff from that time and my friends would tell me about interactions I didn’t remember or did but it felt like I wasn’t in control. I might talk to the therapist about this but it confuses me.

Know this all too well. We made a shit load of vent art (sometimes still do when we feel like it, maybe we'll show some to y'all) and colors were INCREDIBLY important.

Orange Comic Sans text represented Ectha, an alter that I thought was real but genuinely can't tell anymore.

Black Arial text represented Sinergy, another alter that I don't know is real or not.

Pink Arial text represented one of our friends (which we'll call TeGee), which is the main person helping us with system problems.

Dark Purple Rage (font in jspaint) text represented.. Damien.. Just... I'll have to make a separate post about him...

•The reason I say unsure is due to the fact that me and many close friends of mine suspect I may be part of an OSDD system of some sorts. So labels have a habit of changing often.

•I am also physically disabled. I have Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome(Not officially diagnosed but heavily suspected by multiple doctors and diagnostic criteria is met), Some sort of heart issues, Endometriosis, Gastroparisis, and more unfortunately. I also have diagnosed arthritis in my hands, so if I complain about them hurting while drawing, that's why lol.

I know there's not as many people in the server as there used to be, but I haven't really sat down to find out just how many people left till now

It kinda hit me in class, I said there were 19 of us, and there were, but since we can leave for awhile it doesn't really hit me when someone doesn't come back, weather they merge or whatever happens in my head

I just, feel numb, I miss them, even if I barley remember them till I try to

It's not even like I'm particularly close to the ones who do disappear but still

Im thinking now maybe that's what actually led me to make the subject series (broken foundations)

That section of the series is 2 people dying and their friends/parents trying to cope with and recoperate with the greif

I used to make my series to ignore my emotions, shove them onto my characters to not feel sad, that never transferred so litteraly till then, and it's because THAT was went I was ressociated

It's stupid isn't it, to be sad about people who aren't even real disappearing, people you can't even fully remember, people who used to be your friends

It reminds me of what happened with actual friends
