Something something Lando and Logan
Tumblr media
Lando is such a fox to me but I keep having to debate what Logan is, like obviously it's funny if he's a bald eagle bc 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸AMERICA🦅🦅🦅 and ya know he likes fishing
But... give me pigeon Logan or something, give me the lore of how rock doves were domesticated then just left or dog Logan bc he literally looks like a golden retriever. Idk I can't pick 🙏😭
Future me here: god dang pigeon logan got me in a chokehold! It was a half joke tbh but then I spent an hour and a half of my life looking for these! LOOK!

I need to talk about Adrian's character design (And why his Villain defeat bothers me)
I just really like his design. Not only because it is a sick-ass 90s-early 2000s design. But because it incorporates dragon elements perfectly.
Tumblr media
What do I mean? Well you see, Adrian is half fire-dragon. Now here's the thing, right? You'd think that detail would be more important. And not just a throw away line to get into how Nicky was told his mother was a goat his whole life. After all, that detail is all over his design. The etching on his coat looking like dragon scales, the flames on it, his turtleneck top also having a scale pattern, and his dragon claw on his finger. Even in terms of being a prince, it exceeds that aswell. The fuzz on the end of his sleeves, the cool demon necklace, the kick-ass satanic logo on the back. And the hair? Well, it just looks cool. Overall, it makes him look very regal and villanous which makes sense as he is the major big bad of the film and the one that actually manages to be king. It also captures his smart and cunning aura.
Tumblr media
Even his Satan look, though very ugly, also had dragon details on him. What with the literal spikes on his red robe and how in the movie when he drops down, it mimics that of the dragon. So you'd think since they put it all over his design, that it'd be important. Right? Right? Fuck no.
Tumblr media
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not ungrateful for Bat Adrian. I love this little goober. But in terms of story, it's a letdown. Then you see his defeat. Then it became a cop out. He's defeated by Ozzie Osborn (yes the Ozzie Osborn) biting his bat head off and then getting spit out into the flask. For a villain so great, he had a pretty lame defeat. (I mean seriously. Adrian could've easily flown away there. But he just stood there to be grabbed because of plot I guess). Y'know what would've been better? If Adrian ends up turning into a big horrible dragon. And Nicky has to slay him, but thinks it's impossible because he's a massive dragon. THEN he gets help from Ozzie and using holy magic, he turns into a sword and Nicky uses it to fight Adrian and cut his head off. It would've been so much more epic than what we got. And if I could get a little self indulgent here;
Tumblr media
That's a dragon skeleton. I just figured it out recently that that's what it was. And Adrian and Cassius sat near it which would've been a great bit of foreshadowing to Adrian's defeat here. (Also real talk for a second but it's been bugging me if dragons are native to hell in this universe or not and this bit answers that for me). It would've been so awesome and so cool to have the final battle be like that and much more rewarding and satisfying. But no no, he had to turn into a bat so that Ozzie could eat him because while performing on stage, a fan threw a dead bat on stage and he picked it up and ate it's head off. Jeez, that's so funny. I'm laughing right now typing this (sarcasm btw). And that's the thing with this movie for me. I can't properly put it into words just yet but a small part of feels like the movie prioritizes comedy than anything important. Of course you should prioritize comedy in a comedy and it's not like the story is bad. It's good actually. And maybe I'm expecting too much from a movie made by Adam Sandler of all people. But I feel like this movie could be so much more, and do so much more. But that's going have to be a discussion for another time in a separate post.
That's about it. Overall, I just think it should've played into the dragon aspect and give a pretty good villain and much more better defeat than what we got (maybe it would've been even funnier but it's probably going to be in a "wtf" kinda way than a genuianly funny way but who knows).
I have alot more to say about this film (both in praise and criticism) so look out for that. If I have more to say on this topic I'll reblog. Bye!

welt except he has a fever and desperately needs sleep
cw: descriptions of illness, high fever, being kinda delirious/out of it, sleep deprivation?, nightmares, headaches, mentions of death
contains spoilers for welt's hi3 lore
also, disclaimer! welt in here is very reluctant to ask for help and feeling bad about it because... well i imagine he'd react like this, BUT! needing help and asking for it is completely normal and valid and okay; please remember that and take care of urself ok!! ily /p
alright, so...
i'm gonna be honest since i found @bugbytez13 's blog welt sickfic ideas don't want to leave my head LMAO except i will write a detailed description of a fic instead of the fic itself. that's it that's the post
tbh this ramble in particular could be made into two separate fanfics (one sickfic and one specifically about the nightmares) but shh
i will forever be self conscious or anxious about things i post that aren't just headcanons or silly little rambles, but also... writing this went surprisingly smoothly so! enjoy the essay or something idk HAHA
======================================
so, about welt...
i just know this man is going to force himself to stay awake. maybe his self-sacrificing issues are less present now, and he doesn't immediately throw himself in danger in every fight ever, but he's still stubborn as hell. so he won't admit something is wrong. he won't admit that maybe getting way too little sleep several days in a row wasn't doing wonders for his immune system and he's now finally feeling the consequences. to be fair, he expected it might end like this, but he didn't want to take breaks - there's still too many things to take care of before they finally head to penacony. and now, he will still insist of taking care of everything, even though his body is basically begging him to go take a nap.
except maybe, he didn't even expect it to get this bad. or thought that he can just power through it. i mean, he's been through much worse, right? this is nothing compared to literally losing his body for some time. but he's sitting in the parlor car, and he's half awake, and unusually cold, and his head is hurting, and keeping up the act is getting harder and harder - but he has to, because the younger members of the crew are here too, even if only march is talking to him.
but they pick up on the fact that something is wrong, of course they do. his eyes are unfocused, he looks like he's about to fall asleep - or pass out - and march had to repeat herself twice for him to even fully process what she was asking him, and so suddenly stelle is next to him, attempting to touch his forehead - and he recoils. "i'm fine," he says, and it's probably a bit too quick and a bit too firm than he'd like it to be, and all of this is stupid, really, because he shouldn't be scared of someone touching him. how hot can it really be anyway if he's feeling so cold, right? but if that wasn't enough dan heng asks an even more dreaded question, "are you sure, mr yang? do you want us to call himeko?" and welt decides it's time to excuse himself, before he makes them even more worried. because even in his present state, he can pick up on the fact they're concerned, but at the same time unsure of what to do, and it makes him feel guilty. of course they're unsure; he's usually their caretaker, and he always knows what to do, and it should never be the other way around. he should've just stayed in his room all day, shouldn't he.
"thank you all for your concern, but i'm alright." he stands up. "now, please excuse me, i still have some work to do." of course that's true, but he's almost certain he won't be able to focus on that- but he just needs an excuse to get out from here and be left alone anyway.
but stelle is right next to him, and looking determined to accompany him to his room, too. "you look like you're about to fall, mr yang," they explain, and he wants to insist that he's okay once again, but realizes he's too tired to do so. it would take him at least a few minutes, and it's a few minutes he doesn't have nearly enough energy for. he just wants to finally lie down. so, he lets stelle essentially escort him into the hallway and to his bedroom, and make sure he doesn't collapse on his way there, and-- it's embarassing, honestly, because it's already so difficult for him to show himeko the slightest hints that something might be wrong, and right now the situation is similar but ten times worse - so it's also ten times harder for him to come to terms with the fact he needs to rely on someone.
"my... apologies for making you all worry," he says quietly when they reach his room, and he's so thankful that he left the lights off, because the parlor car was way too bright, and though the hallway was a bit better, it still wasn't good.
"it's alright," stelle shakes her head, and stands there in the doorway, even as he heads towards his bed and sits down. "i'll ask himeko to check up on you in a bit?" she asks, and he only nods, though he isn't sure if she can actually see it. he doesn't want to talk anymore, he doesn't want to think because even just that seems to make his headache worse, he just wants stelle to leave, he just wants to sleep-- he isn't even sure if he understood her question correctly, but he also doesn't have the energy to care. he falls asleep the moment the door closes behind her, fully clothed and half covered with a thick blanket, but even then he isn't allowed a peaceful rest.
memories from old battles flash before his eyes, silhouettes of enemies he once fought, those against whom he won - but also of those who severly injured or even killed him, and with that come the memories of the pain
and the fear of losing his body again.
when he finally awakens, sweating, shaky for reasons other than his fever, and still feeling pretty awful, it takes him longer than usual to remember where he is. it takes him longer than usual to remember that he's safe.
but now there's medicine and a thermometer on his nightstand, and a note written in himeko's neat handwriting - though he actually spots and reads it some time later - telling him to rest as much as he needs to, because she'll take care of everything; and only after he does read it and feels a sense of relief come over him, he realizes how much the thought of having to leave all the work in order to take a break actually stressed him out. he still feels bad about it, because of course he does, and of course he's going to apologize to everyone later.
but he's also able to sleep more peacefully now.

When you know, you know Part 2
Tumblr media
A/N: originally this was supposed to be a one-shot but I don't blame people for wanting a part 2 as my dumbass left it so unfinished 😭 thank you so much for requesting a part 2 my lovelies hope you enjoy it, thank you sooo much for 100 followers, it warms my heart knowing that many people enjoy my work!
era: season 10, post-Whisperers
pairing: Daryl Dixon x fem!reader
words: 1.5k
warnings: none my lovelies enjoy <3
part 1
The air was thick and balmy. It took everything you had to deliberately focus on your surroundings, knowing that if you zoned out, just for a second, your mind would corrupt over with foggy thoughts of Daryl. And you couldn't do that to yourself, not when your interaction had been so bitter, so scathingly cold. So here you sat, leant forward in your armchair with your arms crossed over your knees. You unwittingly gritted your teeth as your right leg tapped up and down at an increasing pace. Perhaps it wasn't just the knowing, it was the feeling. The feeling that things between you would never go back to the way they were. The idea that the one person who filled your heart was now breaking it. And the loss was turning into longing, a longing that stretched you out and diluted all your senses. And then, you realised why every cell in your body was overcome with Daryl, why no distraction could ever tear you apart from the idea of him.
You were in love with him.
You were in love with Daryl Dixon. And you're idly sat at home in Alexandria while he's out God knows where for God knows how much longer. There's a good chance he's not gonna come back, right? Not to you, anyway. Not with the way you ended things. He's probably walking out as far as he can go, decidedly avoiding you and your romantic crisis till he can bring himself to end things entirely. No, no. You can't think like this, it's unhealthy, you decide.
You fidgeted, wondering if it was better for you to continue your daydreams or cease them completely. Eventually, you found ways to busy yourself in and around Alexandria, however, no amount of cooking, hunting, or rebuilding could shake the unwavering heartache.
~
Daryl drifted through the remote Virginian forests without paying much attention to the direction he was travelling in. Unbeknownst to you, he had been suffering from the very same distraction and unshakeable regret. He remembered something that you said, and replayed it over and over again in his mind.
"Daryl, I'm in love with you, come home and start a family with me,"
Your tone had been distant and sarcastic, in a cold way that Daryl couldn't quite decipher. What the hell did you mean? The regrets that lingered in his mind were now telling him that he should've never left you. Not for Leah, not for nobody. He began to imagine how different his life might have been if he had made the right choices instead of the wrong ones, that led him astray from his own happiness. Waking up to you every morning, the early sunlight falling on your face and framing your pretty features. Going out hunting together, bringing Dog, maybe starting a family of your own, just like you'd said. How much you meant it, however, he didn't know. He'd have you all to himself, every day, every night. Even though he had convinced himself that he had destroyed whatever was left of your friendship, the idea of you still seemed so close, so special.
That's what happens, when you realise you love someone. No matter what happens, no amount of separation or disagreement or heartache can tear you away from the person you love. Eventually, you just make it back to them. Every time. Because the forces that bring two people together are stronger than any other force that exists. Some might call it God, others call it fate. The only thing that Daryl knew, however, was that the force that pulled him back to you was magnetic, and he could avoid it no longer.
So he set on his way, dredging in a direction that he half-guessed would bring him home. He had no idea what he would say, how he would fix things, but his pure determination rivalled that of a warrior heading to war. He gritted his teeth and failed to notice how his footsteps, that were previously quiet, were now aggressive and sharp on the forest floor. His pace quickened, and his awareness of his surroundings - and what might be lurking behind them - dropped. His mind was full of you, and though he didn't know it, his soul was too.
~
Returning to your home in Alexandria after the sun disappeared behind the walls, you flopped onto a leather armchair and rolled your head back in a state of disappointment. Not much to be done, apart from actively ignoring the one thing on your mind. Maybe you should talk to someone? Aaron, Rosita? You know they'd cheer you up, but you didn't want to talk to them right now. You only wanted Daryl. If only he was here. If only you hadn't opened your mouth that day in the cabin. You closed your eyes instinctively as images of him flashed past your eyelids-
Two knocks. Who the hell is at your door at this time of night? You repeated the sound in your mind and tried to determine who it might be, not particularly keen on dealing with other people right. It was gentle, yet resolute. Approaching the front door, you hesitated before slowly twisting the cold door knob and pulling it open. The sight you were met with had you stunned in your own doorway.
There was silence for a long moment. Daryl's blue eyes never faltered away from your own as you faced him. For a moment your mind was blank, empty of any trace of conflict with the man on your doorstep. A part of you was glad to see him, a part of you wondered if this was just a dream, and another part of you was angry. Angry that he had the nerve to show up here so bluntly. Crossbow slung over his shoulder, he towered over you with an unreadable expression. If only he would speak, you thought.
"Hey," he began. The faint glow from your porch light radiated on his face. He was half-covered in dirt and blood, but you failed to notice. All you saw were his illuminated features framed by his chocolate bangs and slightly parted lips. You could tell he had something on his lips by the way his brows furrowed and his forehead creased.
"'M sorry," he drawled, stepping a little closer to you. This was genuine. You didn't feel threatened or upset, but you realised that perhaps he needed a wake-up call and a little time alone to understand his true feelings.
"I'm sorry too.." you said quietly, not wanting to disturb the established peace by speaking too loud. "I said too much stuff that I didn't mean,"
"It's okay. Think I needed ta' hear it," his pretty eyes were gazing deeply at you now, and you bit your lip discreetly. "'M sorry I never apologised. For leavin'. Should never have left in tha' first place,"
"Thank you... for saying that. I'm glad you're home. You're my best friend, Daryl," you said softly, allowing a smile to creep on your lips.
"Best friend?" suddenly you realised just how close he was standing to you.
You stared up at him, wondering what he meant by his question and unsure of how to respond.
"Yeah... right? Or.." in that moment you trusted your gut instinct and relied on some of the earlier things he had said. His eyes widened and after a moment of staring, you leant up on your tiptoes and brushed your hand along his jaw.
"Or what?" he asked, allowing your touch and smiling a little in a way you hadn't seen before.
"You tell me," At this, he leaned into you and embraced your lips so sweetly that you'd never guess it could be hardy Daryl Dixon. He kissed you with such tenderness and passion that you could only reciprocate by snaking your arms around his shoulders and pulling him in even closer. Daryl's lips on yours felt like ecstasy and he tasted like wildfire. Sweet, sweet fire, burning you up on the inside and out. Swirling cinnamon and summer rain, it's addictive, just like the nicotine you can taste on his tongue.
Then he pulls away, resting his forehead against yours. "I need ya' to tell me," you are breathless, and have to wait a moment to think, let alone respond.
"Tell you what?" you spoke, eyes narrowing in a combination of bliss and confusion.
"That ya' forgive me. I can't.. I can't do this if ya' don't forgive me.. I- I love ya Y/N..." he whispered softly, breaking eye contact and looking down at his shoes. You wanted to be surprised, to take it all in, but you had imagined him saying those things to you for so long. "'M so sorry.."
"It's... I think it's alright. I forgive you, Daryl. And for what it's worth, I liked you first," you chuckled.
"Don't bullshit me," you both laughed before he pulled you into another sweet kiss under the moonlight. You silently sighed in relief, finally glad to have him back. Glad that your prayers didn't go unanswered, glad that your instincts were right, glad to be in love with Daryl Dixon.

Thoughts on MK1
I'm going to try to go in chronological order, and I might miss something and make another post about it later but let's gooooo (obviously spoilers below).
I think the first half of the story is really good. Yes, it relies very heavily on tropes, but they serve the story well and work.
I love that Outworld is a matriarchal society and that Sindel is the ruling Empress, not the Emperor's consort. Not a huge fan that everything is also based on nepotism/everyone inheriting their position from their family. Apparently meritocracy does not exist in Outworld and I get the vibe that this is in fact by Liu Kang's design.
I don't like what a hypocrite Liu Kang is. He says everyone is 'free to choose peace' but literally all of the characters have had their lives manipulated in an attempt to force this 'peace'. But we're supposed to condemn anyone who doesn't like that. Yeah, honestly--Shang Tsung and Bi-Han are valid, I'll say it.
Which brings us to Bi-Han. Oh, Bi-Han. I really want to give him a cough drop, his throat must be so sore from gargling gravel all day (I say this lovingly). I actually don't hate Bi-Han's heel turn, I just think it needed more build up. It could've worked really well if we had spent more time with Bi-Han first. I'm probably going to make a longer post about this.
I do like the new Syzoth a lot… but he's a bit much. He's really on the edge of being a Wattpad OC with how tragic and pretty he is, his whole 'saddest boy in the world' thing. Immediately offering to just die made me cringe. But, you know, hopefully he'll have fun in Earthrealm with Ashrah and Kung Lao and chill out a bit.
Baraka's whole story slaps. It's easily the best part. It is tragic, but not overdone, it's over all really great. No complaints about that at all, I just wish there was more. But maybe we'll get a Baraka expansion where they do more about the Tarkat.
Ashrah is… not as good as she could be. I love her design, love her fighting style, love her story in general and LOVE that she's here. But uh… are we not gonna talk about how she thinks killing other demons to purify herself is fine? This feels like a bug when it should be a feature. I really want them to explore this, there's so much potential here. This will also be a longer post at some point.
Shang Tsung is that bitch. Love him. 11/10 SLAY FACTOR off the charts. NRS gave the people what they want. So glad he's our villain and not Kronika. God, that smirk. What a guy.
Megan's delivery is bad, but I don't think it's entirely her fault. People should've told her. And they shouldn't have given her a character that was so serious. She works very well with a sort of dry humor, they should've played to her strengths instead of… just letting that situation happen. Cut her some slack.
Why are Liu Kang/Kitana and Hanzo/Harumi being pushed as the 'tragic lovers separated in every timeline' when that's Bi-Han and Sareena??? Like. yeah. I'm biased. But Harumi was not even a character, and Liu Kang and Kitana were not tragically separated, they were together all the time??? They ruled the Netherrealm together??? I don't get it.
I really like how story mode acts as an origin story for some of the characters and you 'unlock' their powers. I also LOVE how they used it to tease new cosmetics.
Love it when they said the thing. "mortal kombat", "deadly alliance", "armageddon" yes yes yes.
Also loved when Johnny made call backs to the OG timelines, ie "the flesh pits". Johnny really is perfect for that.
Johnny and Kung Lao are perfect.
Kuai Liang and Tomas are such daddy's boys and I hate it for them. This will probably be expanded on in the Bi-Han post but shut. the fuck. up. about. your. dad. I hope Kuai Liang never becomes grand master. I'm so sorry Kuai Liang fans, but this version of him is NOT it.
Smoke using his power to levitate up the wall was unintentionally hilarious. Especially since he didn't use it to break his fall. Bro???
Everyone in the game kinda easy to lie to/convince, but this might be a feature. Liu Kang sorta 'raised' everyone to be guileless and kneecapped the development of anyone who might be manipulative. I'll let it pass but honestly, I don't think Liu Kang needed to provide 'proof' of anything.
The entire royal family needs to apologize to Li Mei right fucking now, I am so serious. They continually did her dirty when she was nothing but loyal, and questioned her even when she was saying shit Kitana already knew (that the thing with Earthrealm was a misunderstanding). Apology, or Li Mei enters her villain era. Fuck y'all.
Basically, Li Mei, Shang Tsung, Bi-Han and Baraka get to do whatever they want as far as I'm concerned. Everyone else, I'm keeping an eye on. Oh wait, no. Kung Lao can have rights too, bc he's hilarious. Yall stop sleeping on him.
Anyway, that's my takes, I'm sure I'll have more thoughts. Overall, story mode was actually great, and I think there's a lot they can build on for DLC or even course correct, so I'm excited to see where that goes. If yall want to know my thoughts on a specific plot point or character, feel free to hit up my asks, love to make long posts about this stuff.

Weekend Together [Gekko x F! Reader]
Heya! Sorry for the long wait!
This is a part 2 to Trouble in Paradise because the symbiote in my brain won. I'll be writing one-shots and stories daily, and I'll be posting what's done whenever I can, maybe every other day. That means that I'll be separating this into many parts.
But that doesn't mean I won't try to perfect all of this! Quality over quantity, right?
Oh, also, I made a mistake in my last one. I should've used [A/N] because it stands for Agent name. It's fixed now, and Y/N stands for the actual name! Anyway, I'll shut up and get to it!
❤ฺ·。
Gekko x F! Reader. Part 1
Genre: Fluff
Synopsis: Gekko gets over his anxiety and finally asks you out, watching delightfully as you finally let your guard down. Or so he thinks.
。+❤ฺ·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ· +❤·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ·
Like usual, today was another long day at work. Of course it was. All your subordinates usually spend their time mucking about until they’re called on a mission to do something, whilst the superiors (like you) break their backs trying to figure out the next step. Not that you minded.
Well, okay, you did. But you just did a swell job at keeping it to yourself, among many other things. At the very least, you all had breaks on the weekends.
Today was Friday. Half past midnight, and you’d just peacefully finished your work. Perfect start to a weekend you’d spend alone, right?
Yeah, duh. Did you think I was gonna say ‘wrong’?
You walked down one corridor and tuned out the endless chatter of the agents near the lounge. The shortest route to your quarters had to always pass by this busy area. Usually you’d be ignored, maybe some of them would wave hello. Today was a bit different.
The loudest friend group sat around one table, noisily yapping to each other whilst their laughter filled the halls. But when they saw you, they all quieted down. But Jett choked on her laughter, coughing.
“Yo, A/N, what’s up?”
Phoenix called out, but the sight of Yoru slamming his hand against Jett’s back twice caught your eye. Weirdly enough, it turned out to be helpful.
Classy.
“Good day.”
“Anything new today?”
“Not much, you?”
“All’s well, mate!”
“Grand.”
The conversation was curt when you got out of their sight, not bothering to stop to actually speak to them. Your legs were sore and you had a headache, why would you stand there any longer for people who weren’t even your friends?
Harsh, but you weren’t the type to sugar coat things. Besides, they continued their own chatter after you left, Yoru’s voice standing out against theirs by the time you were a metre away from the entrance.
“Forty bucks to whoever guesses where she’s from.”
Yoru called out, earning a few looks from the rest. Jett, of course, used one hand to bring Dizzy closer to her and held out the other; palm outstretched.
“England. Hand it over, please.”
“Try again.”
“What? She is! She has an English accent. Phoenix, back me up!”
“Sorry, mate. Can’t help you there. It’s probably the queen’s english, but it’s mad artificial.”
“So the accent’s fake?”
“Yeah. If I were you, I’d go off the hair.”
They brought up your curly orange hair, each lock forming delicate ringlets. Unfortunately, their tidiness gets massacred on account of you always putting it up in a tight ponytail.
This made Raze perk up, loudly clapping once to gain all of their attention.
“Australian! That's right, she’s from Australia!”
“You’re saying that because Skye’s the only other redhead.”
“No! Well, okay, it sounds like it, but I meant that–”
“Sit down.”
Raze leaned back with a huff, Killjoy patting her on the shoulder with reassurance. As much as she wanted to reassure her, even she knew that you weren’t an Aussie like Skye was. Your accents didn’t match up, nor did the texture of your hair.
“Who’s next?”
Yoru looked around in amusement, watching the various expressions of confusion take over all of them. But just as quickly as one thought, the other came up with an answer. And this time, it was Killjoy.
“Norway!”
“Gekko wouldn’t be here if that was true.”
Gekko and Killjoy both shrinked at that sarcastic retort, now Raze comforting her with a pat on the shoulder. But, to be fair, it was kinda true.
Jett, with an immense amount of hesitation, raised her hand.
“Um, Wales?”
“That’s in the UK.”
“Oh! I got it, she’s from Sweden, yeah?”
“Mostly blondes.”
“Japan?!”
“What?”
“I don’t know!”
Killjoy cried out in defeat. Clearly, there was nobody in this room who didn’t want forty bucks for guessing a country correctly. But how the hell could all of them be so wrong? Statistically, at least one should be able to get a correct guess.
Gekko sat back on the couch and crossed his arms, mildly irked by the situation.
“So lame, man. You’re just shutting down all our answers. Do you know where she’s from?”
“No. I just know you’re all wrong.”
“How’re we supposed to make a correct guess without pulling up Wikipedia, then?”
“Hell if I know.”
Yoru stood up and swung his comb shut. Though his face carried a vacant expression, everyone could see the glimmer of pure unadulterated smugness in his eyes.
“Anyway, I’m done here. Call me when you figure it out. And make sure it’s not on my deathbed.”
He joked to himself as he walked away, leaving the entire group staring at him like a pack of starving puppies; which was on brand for such a cruel person like him.

18 and 40
hi i am SO sorry ive been ignoring this ask for like a month and a half. i wasnt feeling like answering asks idk why😭
Song 18: Again by Crusher-P (sorry if this is a cover and not the person who actually made it, I've seen other versions and idk if this is the original but this is the one I listen to lol)
this is more of an alex song than a timlex one but anyways!!!!!!!!!!
"I haven't been myself lately/I don't blame you for not wanting to stay/Saying things that I don't mean, not meaning what I say" "What am I supposed to say/When I end up driving everyone away?"
pre mh alex slowly growing more like,,, aggresive or whatever because of the operator
"Cause I am on fire/A crying, burning liar/Seeing nothing/Nothing/But myself/And I'm the one with the lighter!"
self explanatory. I do feel like this kind of works as a way to show their parallels though
"God, what happened to my heart?/I'm about to fall apart/Again, again"
Alex thinking he's unfixable/incurable from what he's done. Maybe this would be post-MH and the fall apart thing is like falling apart even when he tried to better himself.
"And you're never coming back/And I'm not okay with that/And I should've never let myself get attached/Again"
I wasn't really gonna include this but since this is supposed to be about Timlex. I will. Tim and Alex separating, each going their own ways, after Alex dropped the production of MH and maybe Alex eventually thinking back on that?
"What's done is done/And nothing's gonna change/I should be moving on/But I still feel the same"
Alex forcing himself to not think about the people he's killed/what he's done.
"And it's like everyday is a fight for my life/To get some self-control/And when you've forgotten who I am/It just feels, it just feels/Like I'm nobody at all"
Again, post-MH Alex being encouraged to try and better himself (by Tim), but after what's happened, he's never gonna go back to what he was before MH. Even if Tim probably wouldn't expect this, knowing that after what they've both gone through, they probably couldn't "go back to how they were before", Alex would still think that's what Tim thought would happen.
"I found myself hitting the ground/I held my breath incase I drown"
Kind of a stretch, but it's like implied(? that the operation sickness symptoms mimic drowning, such as the coughing and stuff. I mostly got this from night mind's videos lol
"I should've known when to let go/And when to see who I was being"
Alex maybe thinking back(? to how he should've tried to get help when he noticed himself growing more paranoid, aggressive, etc because of the operator.

Song 40: Dead Girls by Penelope Scott
This song to me is more "Tim after MH" than anything else but yeah. It's more in here specifically for timlex because of like one line so. oopsies :3
"Sometimes I see her on the sidewalk/Biking on the wet chalk/Spelling out their names/And I feel insane/Cause I know it's just a game that I'm playing with my brain/I don't see her, but I see her/And I know it isn't real"
Tim after MH hallucinating/having nightmares about Jay/Brian/Alex.
"But I fake it anyways/Pull a smile and wave/Nod and look away/Wait for it to fade/But it happens all the time/People say it's fine/My roommate says they're killing us/But we're killing ourselves"
Him ignoring the hallucination/nightmare or maybe playing along with it(? to at least pretend that they're still alive. I know they don't really interact much in post-MH, but the roommate thing could refer to Jessica? Since it's kinda like. excluding her from "people say it's fine", which would make more sense since she actually went through MH too lol
"I'm surrounded by/Dead girls on the road/Dead girls on my phone/Dead girls, where do they go?/All of the fucking/Dead girls, all around/Dead girls in my town/Dead girls, I don't know/Dead girls, where do they go?"
"On the road" could refer to Jessica, still alive but a reminder of MH. "On my phone" well. marble hronets channel. "Where do they go?" could refer to the ark? lol
"And it'd be wrong to say I miss them/I didn't really know him/I just had a couple friends who say they knew him well/He'd seemed like something special/Really, don't they all?/I guess before you're gone, it can be kinda hard to tell"
THIS IS THE TIMLEX LINE!!!!!!!!! Tim might start feeling like he misses Alex even if (in this song's case) they didn't date before MH nor did they really know each other. He'd probably start thinking about how Alex was literally just some guy and then he had to go through something similar as Tim, but he just 'couldn't handle it well'.
"And if all you ever see are dead girls/If all you hear is terrible news/Maybe it's not all about them, the dead girls/Maybe it's more about you/The living need attention too"
In a way, this could be seen as how Alex said that Tim was the source: "if everyone around you gets operator sickness, why do you think it is?"
--
YEAH if you wanna add anything. go ahead!!!

Saw your post about the TTYD remake and I wanted to say that I totally resonate with your description of TTYD being a Papercraft-themed RPG with Super Mario elements. It's one of the reasons the game had never really interested me before…it always felt to me like they made a whole separate paper-themed RPG and then decided at the last minute to put Mario and co in there to increase sales, ha. Actually playing it for the first time via the remake hasn't really changed that opinion, either. At least Super Paper Mario goes full-tilt unapologetic about it being only vaguely Mario-flavored, which makes it endearing in its own way. Meanwhile TTYD is in this weird half-step area about it all.
Anyway, I was wondering about the line between SPM and Sticker Star that you'd alluded to! My assumption was that Sticker Star was an attempt to reset the involvement of the Mario elements back to Square 1 (and over-correcting to Square -1 in the process, somehow) while leaving the amount of RPG-flavoring basically as it was, but I was curious whether this idea was in line with what you were thinking 🙂
Honestly I probably should've clarified what I meant in the actual post, but I'd be happy to do it here:
In Paper Mario, the "paper" part of it was pretty strictly aesthetic. It's especially obvious when you look at how the game was marketed in Japan where it was called "Mario Story"; the "Paper" part was an admittedly charming bit of localization marketing, and to this day I think about how that Nintendo Power ad was maybe one of the greatest print ads of all time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no tangible impact on gameplay (that I can recall) stemming from the fact that the game looks like a pop-up book. In terms of its story, it's also pretty safe in terms of Brand Integrity™ for Mario, even compared to Super Mario RPG: you must save Princess Peach from Bowser, most NPCs are standard Super Mario species with a fun accessory save for a handful of weirdos, all the places you go are totally in line with pre-existing environments in Mario games.
The Thousand-Year Door (tellingly called Paper Mario RPG in Japanese, rather than Mario Story 2) leaned into the paper aesthetic, resulting in the fact that everything was papercraft lending itself to mechanics: you get the curses that turn you into an airplane or boat or roll into a tube or turn sideways to slip through narrow cracks, and a ton of puzzles involve revealing that the obstacle in front of you is a piece of paper overlayed on top of the actual path. It also got a little weirder with the story: the hub is a pirate shanty town built on ancient ruins, you go to the WWE to fight Hulk Hogan and uncover Vince McMahon's sinister conspiracy, there's a murder mystery on a train, the main antagonists are a bizarrely futuristic army hunting for a treasure that is secretly An Ancient Evil. It's not at all a bad game, it's just a very different vibe than the first one.
Like you said, Super Paper Mario is where they got REALLY weird with it- so much so that maybe they would've been better off just making it an original IP if not for the loss of the branding. My post that referred to it as "papercraft" was innacurate, because I was just thinking about the perspective shifting gimmick, which isn't inherently papercraft-related. But the more important thing with Super Paper Mario is that it got Really Weird, but again: that's not a bad thing! I haven't played it in years but I pretty fondly remember SPM.
And then for whatever reason, around this time- late 2000's- Nintendo becomes INCREDIBLY brand conscious about Super Mario, basically to the extent that anything that is not identifiable as a Core Super Mario Element cannot exist. So the time comes for IntSys to make a new Paper Mario game, but they absolutely cannot have it be weird- no interdimensional megalomaniacs, no going to hell and heaven and fighting the usurper god, and for good measures, no existing Super Mario species with accessories, either.
At around the same time, the video game industry at large was kind of in a dark period for RPGs. There was still a lot of good stuff coming out, but the mainstream Western (i.e. The Biggest Market) opinion was that they were outdated and boring. So, IntSys, either by their own volition or at Nintendo's urging, needed to make a sequel to Super Paper Mario that couldn't be weird or have RPG elements from prior installments, which left them with the papercraft gimmicks they messed with in TTYD.
And that's really what Sticker Star felt like: it's just about the papercraft gimmick, which this time around was stickers. It's ostensibly an RPG because combat is turn based, but there's not really any reason to engage with it, because everything is based on your sticker inventory. The bosses are extremely obnoxious slogs unless you bring the correct item that instantly defeats them. Hell, even Origami King, which I did actually like, wasn't an RPG either; it was still turn based, but it had a lot of the same problems.
And Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam... M&L faired a little better in that it got to keep being an RPG, but the two games that came out during the same era as Sticker Star- Dream Team and Paper Jam- placed a much higher emphasis on the weird gimmicks. Like, Bowser's Inside Story's gimmick was "Bowser is a character you can play as!", Paper Jam's gimmick was "Paper Mario is here, which means we can have PAPERCRAFT TANK BATTLES and other Papercraft Gimmicks!"

Learning to Smelt - 2
Part 2! The main goal of my second smelt was to A: Figure out how the sand casting worked B: Try mixing copper and aluminium together to make Aluminium bronze! TLDR: Here was how it went down:
Now into the details! The whole reason I got into smelting was to cast metal into cool items and the like, and to do that I needed a casting flask and some casting sand. All a casting flask is is a wooden or metal box that comes in two sections that you can pack sand and your design into. You want to be able to clasp the box shut so that the heat and pressure of the liquid metal doesn't cause it to pop off. Part of the reason the box in the vid burst into flames at the mid point is because we only clamped down one side of the box, thinking it would be enough (IT WASN'T) For the casting sand we made a mix of bentonyte (bentonite?) clay and yellow bricklayers sand in a volume ratio of 2:8. A lot of other casting vids and forums suggest a similar combination. Bentonyte clay is super fine so use a mask when handling it. With the sand part, you can't use regular sand since the grain shape of that does not lock together too well and will fall out of the vessel really easily (trust me I tried and it was impossible to hold anything in it). Once it's been mixed, you then need to put in 2 or 4 stroke motor oil into it and mix it thoroughly. Don't really have any specific measurements/amounts but what you're going for is to use a little oil as possible for it to be "wet" all throughout. Best way to test is to mix in a bit of oil, clasp a chunk of the sand mix in your hand and, if it can hold its shape, you're good. otherwise, MOAR OYLE
Now a quick heads up, the sand mix we used didn't work so well. best volume mix of sand-clay we used (which I'll go into a bit in the next post) was 6 sand for 4 clay.
Once you have your template, sand and flask, you start loading up the sand into the flask, and packing it in as tightly as possible. If it's not, then there's a chance that some of the sand could fall into the gaps and cause the design to be a bit scuffed.
Once you get to the halfway point of your flask (i.e. 1 of the two sections, the second section should not be on top yet) you press your design into the sand and keep it in there. Once you're satisfied it's evenly at the halfway point, get some talcolm powder or some other separating powder and coat your design/exposed sand in it, using a brush to spread it evenly (YOU NEED TO DO THIS IF YOU DON'T WHEN YOU TRY AND REMOVE THE DESIGN IT WILL NOT SPLIT AT THE HALFWAY POINT EVENLY)
After that, lock your top half on (with the design still in there) and start filling in the sand and really packing it in there as best you can. Once you're done you simply separate the 2 halves and voila! You have your negative space for the metal to FLOW LIKE FINE WINE. (Also sorry I didn't have many pictures in my second smelt, probs should've taken more photos over this part) Of course for it to flow (like fine wine) you need to then carve channels into the sand so you can pour it in in the first place. You NEED to take special care when carving because, even if the sand is packed in tightly, too much force may dislodge the whole thing. You'll need either a drill or a sharpened section of pipe to allow you to make a hole in the top piece for the fluid to flow. Make sure it's large enough for the metal to pour. You also need to make one (or more) vent holes. These holes you aren't pouring down there but they need to be there to make sure there's a place for the gases to vent out. Probably a sharp piece of wire coathanger would be best for these (and of course make sure they connect to your design.
Speaking of your design, you never want to pour directly onto it! Make sure your pouring hole if off to the side a bit with a channel that leads into the main design. This is mainly so you don't damage if from the inital collision of the liquid metal onto the sand.
In the end, you should have something that looks like this! (Hopefully better than it though since again, this one did NOT go according to plan)
Tumblr media
There were a couple of reasons this one didn't go well.
The sand composition. 2 Clay for 8 sand was not a good ratio, it needed more clay
More talcom powder as a separation layer. You can't see it but that middle layer was very uneven since some parts of the top layer fused to the bottom layer and it was a whole thing)
The end result of the above pour was this! Another attempt at the channel emblem:
Tumblr media
Yeah not too good, looks like really bad aluminium bronze. Plus there are a few holes in it, where I'm guessing the mold began to break down while the sand was burning.
Another reason this one didn't work too well! We used almost exactly the amount we needed! Because we didn't put too much in the crucible, I believe that too many impurities got poured out with the molten metal which caused it to look like a mess. Still, not too shabby! And I can certainly say the next one went a lot more smoothly too! On a side note, make sure if you want to do this that you don't have a crazy uncle nearby. After we had poured out the aluminium bronze, he wanted to "take advantage" of the hot crucible/smelter and put some scrap brass he had into it. Certainly sounds like a good idea if you like efficiency, but of course mixing metals you don't want to mix is a very bad idea. When poured, the brass ended up looking really bad since it was mixed with the leftover aluminium bronze already in the crucible and also I could not use the bronze crucible again until I filed out all the traces of brass I could find. More to come!

HANG ON WE'RE BRINGING THIS BACK
only because I saw someone bring this up on a different post (and I apologize bc I lost and forgot that post and who the person who brought it up was) and it's a very very important question to consider:
Why target Danny specifically? Why only order Clockwork to go after Danny and not Vlad as well (or only Vlad)?
Ignore the fact that it's because Danny's the main character of his own show and not Vlad k thx
Vlad is, by all accounts, the far more dangerous of the two of them. He's more well-versed in his powers and he is willing to go to very extreme lengths to get what he wants. Heck, TUE isn't even the first time he's had direct involvement in sending the worlds down an apocalyptic path. Vlad is the one who single-handedly released Pariah Dark, the biggest threat to the Ghost Zone seen in hundreds of years.
And then what he actually does in TUE? Like he absolutely should have known that separating Fenton from Phantom would be, at minimum, extremely risky. Maybe he tried to dissuade Danny offscreen, but knowing Vlad? Probably not. And not taking the proper measures to make sure that if Phantom came out vengeful and feral that he'd be safely contained? Vlad was downright negligent in that regard.
And from what we can glean from what little we know from canon, it was Vlad's ghost half that completely tipped Phantom over the edge in terms of evil. Vlad even admits to it himself (granted, see above about Vlad being an unreliable narrator and the only perspective we get on Dan's origin is from his POV).
So between a young teenager who made one (1) misguided decision (after months of making a good faith effort to keep the high moral ground) and paid dearly for it and became grief-stricken as a result, versus an experienced, adult man who already has a history of doing terrible things in pursuit of his own greedy desires at the expense of countless others and who acted in recklessness and negligence when agreeing to perform an operation he should've known fully well wouldn't work?
Comparing the two, is it really fair to ascribe the entire blame to the former?
And again, treading back into AU territory, it begs the question: who benefits from this? From sending Clockwork after Danny while completely turning a blind eye to the man who had just as much of, if not more of a role in the whole disaster?
Why would the Observants be so keen on getting rid of Danny specifically?
It has to be because they saw something else in Danny's potential future. Something that would threaten them and their hold on power. Something that, to them, would be worth the cost of letting a man like Vlad continue to run around free, if they could prevent it from happening.
I'm just saying, TUE suddenly starts to make so much more sense when viewed through the lens of the Ghost King AU.
hey can we talk about how fucking insane it is that the whole 'evil future self' debacle got pinned on danny cheating on a test
can we talk about how danny came away from that genuinely believing that it was cheating on a test that had made him evil, as if it were any more than just. the reason they were all at the nasty burger that day
can we talk about how sam and tucker also seemed to think that and how we, the viewers, also were apparently supposed to believe it
because uhhhh
the whole idea is. ridiculous. and someone needs to gently tell danny so pleaseandthankyou

Last thought before I shut up ( I won’t), I love having Hector interact with The Trio in nondescript settings because one moment its polite conversation, but then Hector starts on his bullshit and starts a fight because ‘how dare you not treat me like shit?? who do you think you are, Dracula?’

In the end of it all, Monaca Towa was still a child.
To start this off, this isn't my usual Black Butler posts but ive been meaning to talk about Danganronpa for a hot minute, so please bear with me! Second, this is solely my opinion and before anyone wants to attack me please read thoroughly first. Thank you:)
(Spoiler warning for Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls and Danganronpa 3)
Also, before we dive in I'm going to list some trigger warnings:
Physcological abuse
Physical abuse
Manipulation
P*dophillia
Suicide attempt
Violence (?)
Childhood trauma
Please take care and read at your own risk<3
Hello there Danganronpa fandom! Today I will be talking about Monaca Towa (as stated in the title) and how people often minimize her trauma and sometimes forget the fact that shes still a child who got heavily manipulated by Junko too.
Monaca is seemingly very amiable and caring, because of her charming personality, all of the Warriors of Hope love her and try their best to keep her happy and go along with what she wants. However, it's slowly revealed that she is actually manipulative and cunning behind her friendly facade.
Monoca is a character that is cruel, manipulative, and extremly unhinged. Many of her actions cannot be excused or justified, but you can understand where she's coming from.
Monaca's Backstory:
She was born an unwanted child by both her father and her mother. Monaca's mother was supposed to take care of her but instead abandoned the child soon after her birth. Because of all her actions, Monaca saw her mother as a completely selfish and pathetic person. Monaca's father thought of giving her to an orphanage but instead took her into his family.
However, Monaca was always unwanted and everyone else felt uncomfortable around her. Every time Monaca smiled or joked, the others looked at her coldly, as if she didn't deserve to laugh. Every time she spoke, the others turned silent. His older-half brother thought of her as an alien, not part of the family.
She was also physically abused to the point that she pretended to be seriously wounded for them to stop as a result.
Monaca also attended Hope's Peak Elementary School and was part of the "trouble-makers class" along with Nagisa, Masaru, Jataro, and Kotoko.
Along with her fellow abused classmates, she planned a group suicide; however, Monaca never had any plans to commit suicide in the first place and was planning to let the others die as a prank.
The group suicide was stopped by Junko, who took the kids in and manipulated them by treating them with kindness and love.
Monaca then helped Junko mass produce Monokumas for the Tragedy by using her position as a representative of the Towa Group.
She lied to her father and the other adults in order to produce the Monokumas, telling them that she wanted to create futuristic robots that could be domestic helpers and emergency aid workers.
Due to her separation from the family and her genius, her family decided to give her leg room to do what she wanted as long as she brought in profits to the company, and didn't delve too deeply into her plans.
Things to keep in mind about Monoca's backstory:
She was emotionally and physically abused from a very young age.
She started to pretend to be paraplegic because she was finally treated with some kindness and she could have more control over people.
She convinced Nagisa, Jataro, Kotoko and Masaru to commit suicide.
Out of all the Warriros of Hope, Junko took the most intrest in Monoca due to her position, meaning that she was the one who got used and manipulated the most.
How Monoca's mindset works:
The moment she got physically abused to the point that she had to fake her injuries to make her family feel bad was the moment she learned that through sympathy from others comes power. Due to her families neglection and abuse, she started to quickly pick up on things in which benefited her yet hurt others.
She started to use manipulative tactics on her family to gain control over them. She then started implicating these tactics with the Warriors of Hope.
When Junko got into the picture, everything changed for the worst. Junko was the only person in Monaca's life who showed her affection. Even though deep down Monaca knew Junko only cared for her as a means to use her robotics genius for the Tragedy, Monaca didn't care, and happily helped out Junko with her plans if it meant being loved and appreciated in return. At the heart of it, despite all her horrific acts, that's a very child-like thing to do, right? So when Junko dies, Monaca's entire reason for living basically disappears.
AI Junko via Kurokuma may have planted the idea of a successor in her head, but in Monaca's mind it's a way to get her big sis back, and very specifically chooses to mold Komaru into becoming Junko's successor. That's for a big reason, Monaca doesn't want to become Junko, I'd say she actually just wanted her big sister back who would love and appreciate her again, and hence tried to make someone else take on that role initially. Once again, that's the mindset of a child.
Monaca's relationship with the Warriors of Hope:
The Warriors of Hope are a group of children who are extremely resentful and hateful of adults, regardless of whether or not they were involved in their rough paths.
We all know that the Warriros of Hope are extememly tramutized kids. Masaru had alcoholic parents who physically abused him, Jataro was physcologically abused to the point he bealived he was so ugly that if anyone saw his "repulsive" face they would die, Kotoko was r*ped multiple times by disgusting p*dophilic men (not to mention, Monaca's brother was attracted to her), and last but not least we have Nagisa who had pressuring parents who wanted to raise him as the child prodigy and expirimented on him constantly.
Monaca used the Warriros of Hope's trauma against them, manipulating them to the point were they had to do her bidding completly.
As much as I hate to say it, Monaca truly saw them as pawns. Although there are some instances where she openly declares her care for the Warriors of Hope, it's likely she does that as a form of emotional manipulation.
If anything, she probably did see them as equal in the beginning but then when she started to gain control over her own family, she started to do the same with the Warriors of Hope as a way to protect herself from getting hurt, then again this is my baseless assumption.
Her dynamic with Nagito:
Monaca was amused by Nagito's strange behavior and contradicting beliefs and appeared to be somewhat annoyed with him at the times. However, the two appeared to at least seemingly respect each other in some way, as they treated each other somewhat formally as allies.
Her dynamic with Nagito is one of the most intresting ones. Obviously I think that her being rasied by Nagito was potentially a dangerous thing, considering Nagito's goal was for Monaca to become Enoshima's successor. Monaca seemed to agree with this goal, but Nagito's constant rambling about hope and despair made Monaca bored and feel embarrassed about the whole thing.
She claims he made her an adult in a way, as she grew up in the mental sense and became more cynical and apathetic, not really caring about anything.
In the end, Monaca found Nagito creepy and annoying, but she also appeared to get closer to him during their time together, while originally calling him just "Mister Servant" in UDG, she later refers to him as "Big Bro" in Danganronpa 3. I do think their dynamic was sort of soft and I would've loved to have seen more of it. Honestly the concept of Nagito being a soft brother to Monaca warms my heart, and the wasted potential will forever anger me.
(If any Danganronpa fanfic writer or any writer in general is reading this post: if u could be so kind and do a PLATONIC Nagito and Monaca prompt and tag me in it, I would love you forever!!)
My opinion on Monaca:
I think that Monaca was a very well-written character who deserved more than what she got in the end of Danganronpa 3. She was abused, mistreated and belittled by her family. If anything, I see her as a completely misguided little girl. If she actually had a positive authoritative influence in her life, she wouldn't have turned astray.
A lot of people disregard Monaca's trauma and forget that at the end of the day, Monaca was a child who the moment she was born, the people who were supposed to love her were unwelcoming.
Don't get me wrong though, there is no way in hell I will ever justify or condone the things Monaca has done. If anything, I just think that she alongside the rest of the Warriors of Hope should've been properly taken care of.
Also, if you dislike/hate Monaca thats 100% valid! She did a lot of inexcusable things and its alright to hate on her. I personally love her character but I know she is not everyones cup of tea.

quarantine :(
I found out I have covid and I have been quarantined for one day
im not surprise, my mom had covid and she really didn't quarantine well because its she's like allergic to just staying put for 5 days.
5 days is when you are no longer contagious.
I can't put all the blame on her though, I made mistakes too like still going in the room to shower even though my room has a shower. I just didn't want to deal with my roommate catching an attitude every time I went in there.
speaking of that, covid also messed up my plans because this week I was going to ask for my room back.
so the way them staying here is set up right now is that we stay in my mom's house because she works in other city for majority of the week, my roommate stays in my room and im in my mom's room. when my mom comes home for like weekends or long breaks, I or my mom go on the couch. usually its me.
well, im starting college and I want my room back. I don't want to have to move back and forth from couch to room every week, my mom said that she'll just start staying on the couch but that's not fair to my mom because she literally pays the rent and my half of bills till my living money starts to come in.
I also want my desk. my mom's room doesn't have a desk however we have one downstairs but it's not MY desk. I also don't like working in synthetic lighting because it hurts my eyes and downstairs has basically no outside lighting. my room does, it actually has great lighting. which is also good for filming because my friend and I are starting to do visuals for our podcast and need better lighting.
I don't want to share the bathroom with my mom anymore there's no reason truly but I just liked my setup more than my mom's. I miss my closet too, my grandpa tore down a wall that separated my two small closets so now I have a pretty long, decent-sized closet. in my mom's room I have one small closet, one drawer, and all my shoes are in a basket so I can't even see all my shoes.
I don't know I just want my space back because right now I feel like all my stuff is just everywhere.
I also feel like if they go on the couch it will push them to find somewhere for them to live. they told me last time they had to pay their half of the bills that after they paid they only had like $70 left. they had already lived in the house for 2 months and they didn't pay the first month, they should've had way more than that left after rent... you know? but they told me recently that they were bad with money, they should have told me that before. they probably didn't because they know I won't have invited them to stay and I wouldn't have.
I wish I could say I felt bad but like I really don't think they are a good roommate. that was not the the point of this post though.
like I said school is about to start and I get out quarantine is the day before classes start so I have 5 days to get ready. the day im out im going to my campus and look to see where my classes are. all my classes are on Tuesday and Thursday and my first 3 classes are 10 minutes apart form each other. I want to make sure I can get to my classes on time.
that's all for now I guess.
