As some of you may know, I have a TERRIBLE habit of over-collecting VLD merch. Well, today, that is YOUR potential gain. Because I have come to propose a silly little game with prizes for two (2!) lucky winners.

Read one (or more!) of the six qualifying fics linked below the cut. Reading the whole fic isn't required if you find the scene you're interested in early on, but it's still highly encouraged!

Pick a scene (or more than one!) and create art for it.

Share your art on Tumblr (and anywhere else you want to), making sure to include: tagging the fic's author, tagging me, a mention of this giveaway, and a link to the fic. Finally, if you are okay with the author embedding a copy of your artwork in their fic (giving you credit, obviously!), please say so in your post.

I'll reblog your art when I see it, and once I reblog, you are officially entered for both of the prizes. If I don't reblog within 48 hours, please DM me in case I missed the post!

You are NOT limited to one entry! Submit as many pieces as you want. Each piece submitted gets your name in the drawing for each prize 1 time, so 1 piece = 1 entry each, 2 pieces = 2 entries each, etc.

Please don't enter if you aren't okay with the author of the fic linking to your artwork (with credit given). Bonus if you give permission to let the author choose to embed the art in their fic (again, with credit given to you!), but that's completely optional. I can't make promises for the other authors involved, but if you choose option 1 in the fic options below, I will definitely be linking from my fic to your artwork!

Some of the qualifying fics are rated explicit. Do NOT make an entry based on an explicit fic unless you are at least 18 years old. I have provided qualifying non-explicit fics for minors and anyone else who prefers them! I will disqualify any entry based on an explicit fic if I see that it was submitted by a minor. This applies to both art entries and comment entries.

I am happy to ship internationally, but please confirm that I will be allowed to send you a package from the United States before you enter. What are the qualifying fics?

I thought you'd never ask! All of the options below are equally valid options for adults who want to enter.

Option number 1 and 2 contain explicit sexual references. Entries from minors will NOT be accepted for these two options.

Option number 3 and 4 are rated mature but not explicit. Minors may participate with these two options at their own discretion.

Option number 5 and 6 are rated teen and should be suitable for anyone old enough to agree to the Tumblr TOS.

Mind any tags and trigger warnings on all of these fics. You are under no obligation to read any of these, and you shouldn't if it's going to negatively affect you! A fun little $20 prize is not worth it.

So we can all agree Ragatha has the highest chance of abstracting right?

Okay now that I got your attention with that total ima go into detail and probably say what others have said but also give my thoughts and speculations because well why not

So with episode 5 being out people have been moving more so into the camp that either Ragatha or Gangle (or the more fun idea of it being Caine) that will abstract which is valid but I don’t think Gangle will due to some reasons that’ll parallel into why I believe Ragatha will (and I’m praying I’m proven wrong and that she doesn’t abstract)

So let’s go into my insane ramblings so in episode 3 kinger says something that we can imagine ties into the main reason one abstracts (other than breaking point) and that’s this

So with this it’s a big point into why I think Ragatha will be the one to abstract since we see in episode 5 that at the end everyone but her goes off into their little groups

• Gangle and Zooble go off to do their own thing

• Kinger goes in same direction probably to do Kinger things

• Then Pomni and Jax go in a different direction to check something out

And where does this leave Ragatha? It leaves her all alone, believing they’re not wanted anywhere, we even see her look between the two groups before sighing looking what can be assumed to be dejected and then going in her own direction away from the two groups

Now this parallels Gangle and why I don’t think they will because we see that they feel wanted at least by Zooble and maybe Pomni as shown by her drawing that they made of what can be seen as who she thinks is her actual friends or at least people who they think actually care about them (image gotten by one of the posts glitch made after episode 4)

Then there’s episode 5 where we see a culmination of this with mostly the softball game but also the stargazing bit and given the stargazing whiles we don’t see the whole thing we do see that once again everyone is in their own groups but Ragatha is the only one who is walking between them all not being formally invited to join them and sit down (only sitting after she approaches kinger about fireflies) just unintentionally not being wanted. Then the softball game this has the most from Pomni dismissing Ragatha finally being negative by telling her to calm down to Ragatha self hatred on not being good enough at her own suggestion (even using the words “I should be better than that) which is most likely instilled from her mother. Then there’s when she finally got the chance to have another go it ended before she could even do anything and when she saw if Pomni was watching they were focused on talking to Jax

There’s also the fun thing that Ragathas’ evil clone is the only one we actually see die/melt and before you say yes I know Jax attacked his clone but we never actually saw the clone die it just cut

So with all of this stuff compiled it makes me think that in either episode 6 or 7 we may see Ragatha either abstract or get dangerously close to abstracting (that’s if there’s a way to stop it if caught early)

But yes anyway that like majority of my thoughts on this and why I think it may (unfortunately) be Ragatha who might abstract and I am happy to be proven wrong

I've been thinking about how some of the twst guys are either discovering (by coming at nrc) or shall never ever know what porn is and it's very funny in my head; from what I've been told by friends who were in my highschool's dorms, poor Riddle and Azul definitely got unwillingly exposed to it while doing room rounds; the tweels are freaks and unlimited internet access once on land means it probably took them less than a month to find out that wow humans take videos of themselves doing that huh; kalim probably has a childproofed browser; Malleus, Sebek, and Silver are NEVER ever in a situation where they could find out and shall go back to briar valley and remain blissfully ignorant their whole lives; meanwhile Lilia found out while downloading mods and texture packs, did a hard double take on the adds, clicked because he didn't know yet what internet scams and viruses are, and also had the same revelation that Wow humans take videos of themselves doing that. Then proceeded to spend his evening giggling, looking it up to check how freaky humans could get. Probably never watches porn after that, unless he's curious about specific kinks he learns of later on while hanging out on game forums, anyway it's always only to learn/giggle at it. These are my headcanons

God she hoped whoever was injured wasn't still in the area or even alive. Just like animals people could be very dangerous when they were hurt and afraid. The last thing Kyleigh wanted was a run in with someone else. She was used to being with Magna, to have to go through that again was just too much damn work. And if the two of them were eventually going to go their own way then what was the point of getting to know another? Either way if anyone living was nearby they would deal with that situation if they came upon it. Magna was right though, no one was getting far without a vehicle these days. One that ran and actually had gas was like finding the cure for whatever this virus was, so if there was one in that garage Kyleigh was not going to let it just sit there.

Coming to that old couple's bedroom was a bit of a disappointment, but Kyleigh had told herself not to get her hopes up about it. So far the house had gifted them with a lot of things they needed, she didn't want to get greedy. She did find a pair of old house shoes she grabbed just in case and a blanket. Not that she needed it, but if it did get chilly she would have to look the part so Magna didn't get suspicious of her. There was still so much that neither one of them knew about each other, one big thing that Kyleigh would rather keep to herself as long as she could. Her eyes did land on the many books that were in the room, drawing her over towards them. Normally she would scoop up as many as she could, read them to pass the time since there was nothing else to do. But this time around she had to just leave them there which did make her a bit sad. A few of them would have been very informative but Kyleigh was pretty sure she would have the chance to find more at some point. Magna announcing that she had found keys snapped the half lycan out of her own thoughts, a sly smile crossing her lips for a second. If all went well they wouldn't have to walk back to their place with all the new shit they found.

"There's a couple ways we could do that. If there's a door from the house to the garage we can just break that open, a good kick should do it. If we have to go outside we can see if we can lift the door from there. Usually if they have a handle on the door it means there's a lock that we can pick. That also puts us in more danger since it's out in the open, so let's see if we can find that first option."

Heading out of the bedroom the pair found themselves back in the small hallway that led to the rest of the house they had already checked out. There was a door at the end that Kyleigh figured led to the back yard, which she did not want to open for all the obvious reasons. There was another that turned out to be just a small closet with a few jackets and some random things on the floor. Probably one that they kept their coats and things in for when they were leaving the house. She wondered if they went to church every Sunday. Or went out once a week for groceries. If they had kids and grandchildren that came over for visits and holidays. Of course those thoughts made her heart ache. The family probably had no idea that they were dead now, maybe they never got the chance to look for them, to say that final goodbye. Clearing her throat Kyleigh pushed on towards the end of the hall, but no more doors were there to open.

"Alright well they don't have a door that goes to the garage from inside. But I have seen houses that have one through the back yard. We could go out there and see, might be safer than the front of the house. What do you think?"

If there were any of the dead in the back yard they would be easier to take care of and less likely to attract more. And if herself and Magna could get into the garage that way it would be easier for them to open it up and get the car out.

Kyleigh's theory made sense. Maybe by the time they had finished patching themselves up, they heard that old couple banging on the door and decided to leave rather than fight them. The safer choice, two of them at once was just too much if they were right behind a door, especially if you had an injury. "They could've left through the window right here. Maybe they're still nearby. If they're still alive. You don't make it far without a vehicle."

That was a big if. Magna had seen people leave this world so ridiculously quickly, she was already counting on them being dead, anyway. She's been in entire groups just a while ago, entire groups that had succumbed to the undead.

Their next room, the old couple's bedroom, hadn't been as much of a gold mine. Well.. that was the law of averages, wasn't it? Unsurprisingly, it didn't have any food, nor any hygiene products like the bathroom had. Nothing but clothes too small for Magna, except for a sweater she took with her in case it ever got cold outside and some underwear and socks. She'd been hoping to find a firearm somewhere, but she wasn't surprised those two didn't have that kind of stuff. Seeing that the rest of the objects within the room were nothing but decor or books (one about foraging mushrooms, but Magna didn't bother to check the bookshelf), she was about to leave the place, but the sight of two wallets inside the bedside table drawer made her want to check its contents. Money was useless nowadays, but something within her just wanted her to know those people's names. Gladys and Otto McCluskey. She couldn't help but almost flinch when she saw their organ donor cards. The universe had a cruel sense of humor. They seemed to have been good people, judging by some of the photos in their bedroom showing the charity work they'd done.

"I found car keys", Magna remarked, holding up a key with a Volkswagen keychain. "Let's pry this garage open. Got any idea how we could pull that off?"

She'd known thieves from the prison, of course. There had been one lady that had managed to pry open garages and steal people's cars by using a coat hanger. But Magna didn't know much about stealing, aside from a few times she'd shoplifted clothes as a teenager. That seemed to be more Kyleigh's area of expertise.

SNOWCROW UNI AU DUMP!!

all of these are reposts from my twitter, and some never seen before doodles :p ive got so many brain rot for this au but i dont have the time to draw them with me being a uni student myself, so i'll use this as an outlet to yap

ofc yes snowcrow are roomies duhhhh. the other boys are included as well but its primarily focused on snowcrow. both of them are nerds, sy just doesnt fit in the stereotype appearance wise. he also rarely leaves his room (bc hes in IT) so hes mostly wearing nothing but his optimus prime boxers. zayne has 5 outfits maximum and repeats the same ones depending on the day, and its either a collared button up shirt or a hoodie. all his pants are identical except for one pair of jeans he wears for special occasions aka going to the mall

in this au, zayne's autism shines more. he's more clumsy and awkward and doesnt get social cue. naive at some times, ESPECIALLY when it comes to ppl tryna hit on him. sy is less macho suave here, chillaxed in a teen core way and an idrgaf attitude. much more of a loser too. and more immature (in comparison to his canon self)

their dorm room: a disaster. its a 2 pax room so both their beds are singles across from each other. only two weeks into the semester sy's space is already full of his stuff to the point he cant even sleep on his bed. robot stuff from his club, personal collection of trinkets and other stuff he COULD throw out but doesnt want to bc he's a hoarder. so now he either sleeps on the floor or on zayne's bed. usually on zayne's bed when he's out for class during day time since his own classes are at night. zayne didnt mind but it meant sy owes him so sy buys him a lot of stuff especially sweet treats and mixue. he also has to drive him everywhere on his motorcycle. "i wanna go to that dessert shop" "you mean the one thats deep in the city full of traffic and hidden in between the alleyways where u have to go through the 7 layers of hell for parking?" "yes" "..................kay."

pets!! sy had mephisto even before entering uni. then later adopted a bearded dragon named bartholomew, mew or bartie for short. zayne took in a stray black cat from the streets. cats rarely like him so when this one didnt run away, immediate adoption. claudius galenus is his name after a greek philosopher, galen for short. obv sy made fun of his name choices, but then again he named a bird after the devil and a reptile "bartholomew". theyre both idiots. sy also enjoys finding random geckos or lizards, and frogs, and snakes. he'd probably own a scarab too. but zayne never allowed those bc galen is a gluttonous hell spawn and eats everything. at one point he started chewing on sy's mattress. no, pets are not allowed in dorms. they got off with a warning the first time. so every time theres even a hint of a spontaneous dorm check, sy asks his mom to babysit their kids. his mom being the sweetheart she is helped them out, though she wondered if her son will ever grow up and be at least acceptable in a professional setting bc she cant imagine him having a corporate career with the way he is now.

money. zayne has a scholarship and during their dorm year, it was easy to live on. he didnt have many assignments that needed money to be spent on, and he was never the shopping type, for clothes or other stuff he cant eat anyways. but ever since they moved out to rent an apartment, money got tighter. sure both his parents are doctors and has no problem giving him extra pocket money, but he prefers to not burden them. so he now he part times at a vet as the clerk! easy click clacking on the monitor job and he gets to meet cute animals. sylus doesnt have a scholar but he's applying for one. in the meantime he gets his money from a website he runs. what website? no one knows. is it legal? most likely no. zayne assumed the site is just an illegal movie streaming platform with how sylus always invites him to watch a new movie on his laptop seconds after its release. but he could be running more than one.

neither of them have that of an exciting social life. theyre either nerding out in their room, or taking a mindless stroll to reconnect with nature. sylus collecting rocks and yapping about the history (or drama) of the british royal family and explaining how the monarchy works, zayne identifying different types of clouds and pulling out candy from his pockets every 10 minutes (they never seem to run out). though at one point, sylus knew how important this stage of their life is. theyre not gonna be young forever and they needed friends, people to socialize with and make connections, mingle with people their age. zayne didnt mind having sy as his only friend, but he did think it would be nice to have a small clique. also the networking thing is important too. so whenever theres an event or festival, they'd always go out with intentions to meet people. it was NOT easy. 1. they dont know how to start a conversation without being too pushy or awkward. 2. they both have resting bitch faces and above 6 ft which makes them seem intimidating. 3. even if they did manage to chat with someone, they would quickly realize how different they were from them. most people who join these social events have **been** social, already in big group of friends that go out partying, clubbing, drinking yadda yadda. not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just a very unfamiliar territory for these two nerds who rarely (or during this point, never) let themselves touch alcohol, couped up in their room with a pigeon, a lizard and whatever the hell galen is, watching pirated movies while wearing matching rocky and bullwinkle socks. so after every attempt at making friends, they'd always walk back to their dorm, just the two of them.

are they dating? no. not yet at least. but do they like each other romantically? maybe. i can vouch for sy tho. the first time he saw zayne he was already smitten by how handsome he was. handsome, but not well put together. baggy clothes, his glasses were slightly crooked, looks like he doesnt know what hair gel is. he didnt know if he was even attracted to men, he did know zayne was the most interesting person he's ever met so far. he brushed it off, thinking its just simple admiration. even if it was a crush, it wasnt a big deal. tho as their friendship grew, he got bolder, casually flirting with him from time to time, just because. zayne being the dumbass he is caught none of it. if sy ever reached out to hold his hand, he's like "oh yeah cool bestie activities" or if he gives a quick peck on the cheek before leaving for class "he must be in a good mood haha" or if he stares longingly while zayne yaps about the history of styrofoams, scooching closer, leaning a bit too close, trying to memorize every detail of zayne's face as if he recognized him from a different life, one where theyre both soul bound, sharing the same last name, melting into each other every night "oh wow he's a really good listener".

yk maybe they are dating. zayne just didnt know about it until it was too late.
