"He hasn't violated any part of the constitution"
So I got this in one of those hit and run TUMBLR messages where the writer sends me a message, blocks me, and then runs away with it's tail between it's legs so I cannot reply.
I would normally post the person's name and the comment but I've grown soft in my old age. I think it's because the person is troubled and quite oblivious of the constitution.
But this gives me another chance to show what the constitution actually says and if i play my cards right maybe the poor person will come across it via another blog.
So, let's get this started, shall we?
He had a person arrested for speaking out against him. That violated Amendment 1.
He kicked a news source out of his news pit because they asked questions too tough for his staff. That also violated Amendment 1.
He gave a list of words that are forbidden to be used in scientific reports. Once again, a violation of Amendment 1.
He openly tried to pass a bill that will allow a group of people to hunt and handle people who are anti-Christian biased. Another violation of Amendment 1.
He has threatened to pull funding to any colleges that allow peaceful protests. That is another violation of Amendment 1.
Tumblr media
Ok, what's next?
Let's revisit the man arrested at his own apartment because he spoke against Trump. Then we can discuss the woman that was arrested on the side of the street because she spoke out against Trump. The ICE officers shown no papers that gave them rights to arrest anybody legally. The officers have kicked down doors and arrested people for no real reason. This violates the fourth Amendment.
Tumblr media
Let's talk about Due Process.
This is a little tricky but once you understand it... it's not hard to understand.
People have been arrested and sent out of this nation. These people received no trial. This also goes against the constitution.
It goes against the fifth amendment.
Tumblr media
and the sixth amendment
Tumblr media
and before you claim that they are not legal immigrants (which they were)
There is this part of the constitution...
Tumblr media
So in other words, legal or illegal, while in this nation they SHALL RECIEVE DUE PROCESS
ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN COLLECTED BY ICE DESERVE DUE PROCESS.
So, to those that claim Trump hasn't violated the constitution... You need to wake up. Because you are next.
Don't believe me??
Here is a video of Trump openly saying that if you have guns and you get into trouble your guns will be removed with out due process... WITH OUT TRIAL
youtube
Thanks for playing.

Good news, he’s back on American soil!
Bad news, he’s being falsely charged with felony human trafficking because obviously we can’t just admit he was erroneously shipped off to a prison without due process.

Is this not Trump advocating for ending due process? Advocating for violating the 14th Amendment? Remember if even the worst criminals lose their right to due process, you can too. Without this process, the Trump Administration would be void of any sense of justice. They could take anyone off the streets and put them in prison for 40, or 50 years, death sentence, and deportation because you don't have the right to prove otherwise.
In addition, these criminals shouldn't have to wait years for their trials because, as written in the 14th Amendment, they have the right to a speedy trial. That means a trial without any unnecessary delays.
President Donald Trump has posted many, MANY, idiotic words on his platforms but this one really stood out to me. His followers are very violent, calling for the hanging of judges, arresting political oppositions, and violating the rights and processes of those involved for a political agenda. They simply repeat words heard by their "leader" and are blind followers of their new god who will "make America great again."

Of all the lawless acts by the Trump administration in its first two and a half months, none are more frightening than its dumping of human beings who have not had their day in court into an infamous maximum-security prison in El Salvador — and then contending that no federal court has the authority to right these brazen wrongs. [...] If the government can disappear anyone it wishes, dump him in a Salvadoran dungeon and prevent any court in this country from providing relief, we all should be very, very afraid.

Feel like Neil couldn’t have been any other kind of actor than one in theatre. If he was a movie actor or on social media or whatnot, it would not be the same. Theatre by nature is fleeting. Recorded mediums can be rewatched over and over, creating a time loop of sorts. We the audience can keep going back to a time when Neil is still alive. Theatre however is live and once the play is over, there is no going back except in our memories. It is much like life. We are forced to live in the moment in a theater lest we miss it altogether. It’s not that the poets choose to live in a world where Neil is dead, it’s that they must because the only other option is to die themselves. I feel like Keatings teachings could only be reflected in stage theatre because that’s the only way there can be no time loop of grief. I think dead poets society itself isn’t about overcoming the authority in your life to do what you want but rather about grief, about allowing oneself to feel grief and all one’s emotions without letting it consume you and to keep living after, to live every day in the moment lest you fall into grief and regret that will destroy you or force you into a miserable life
#just silly ramblings don’t mind me just ignore me 🫣#keating was teaching the boys catharsis as a means of survival and how to process their emotions so they don’t overcome them in a world#that convinces them to pretend they don’t feel at all; that’s why he focuses on the romantics rather than the realists because the romantic#is there to help you process your emotions of sorrow and joy; and that’s why he told Charlie he was misunderstanding the teachings when he#was acting out but not Neil when Neil was trying to get out of the grief over the person he wishes he could be; keating taught him that his#father was standing over an empty grave grieving the son he wanted and that Neil doesn’t have to lie in that grave just to satisfy his#fathers grief but can go to his father as he is and ask him to accept this version of himself and the son he is and his father rejected and#that is why Neil thought the only way to truly overcome his father was by allowing his father to grieve him over grieving the son he wanted#and Mr. Keating was crying over Neil but we don’t see him rage out like the school; Mr. Keating grieved Neil and moved forward with life#whereas all the other administration and Neil’s father will not be able to because they refuse to recognize any emotion but rage so they#feel they must go on a wrathful journey to try to process their grief; idk I think the whole story was about teaching the boys not to be#afraid of their emotions and that they must feel their emotions to process them and get through and I think this message just happens to be#counter to the norm we were told our whole lives but also necessary to be full people and I think that is why this movie sticks with so#many and why so many hold it so dear to them; it’s a story about grief and emotions and moving forward with life after the fact#it’s about feeling in a world that tries to convince you that there are ‘bad’ emotions and that you must not feel certain things and that’s#where overcoming authority comes in and the anti authority message of the franchise stems from#neil perry#dead poets society#dps#dead poets fandom#dps fandom#mr keating#john keating#dps symposium

Habeas corpus is what protects you from being detained without a trial, basically. So of course Trump wants to get rid of it.
Stephen Miller said that if it doesn't work then they'll just call immigration an invasion so they can get rid of anybody without due process.
He just said this in front of a camera and nobody's doing anything about it, of course.

Do people seriously not understand due process?
DUE PROCESS IS FOR EVERYONE.
You can say whatever about Mahmoud Khali or Kilmar Abrego and about how they are actually "criminals" (despite the lack of evidence to prove them guilty), but they do not deserve to be deported! What makes anyone think deportation is a better alernative to simple imprisonment is beyond me.
In terms of Abrego, he was mistakenly deported to El Salvador. The Trump administration admitted that it was an "error", but then claimed that he was coincidentally a gang member.
First, they target "criminals", because oh, who cares if criminals don't recieve due process, they're bad people. IF SOME PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO DUE PROCESS, NONE OF US WILL. If criminals don't have due process. how does the government even fucking know who is guilty?
This is why the situation is so scary. The trump adminstration is randomly deporting people they claim to be criminals. Some people who abide by the law are not afraid because they haven't commited any crimes. But how do they find you guilty? If it's not proper, what if you are mistakenly sent to El Salvador?
This is not about whether illegal immigrants (or certain people) should stay or be deported. This is about proper trial and due process.
People won't speak up when the situation doesn't directly affect them, but suprise suprise, it does now.

We have a Constitutional Crisis on our hands. The Trump administration has ignored several court orders, and one of them saw a man removed from the country and shoved into a foreign prison and the government seems to have little care to get him back despite morale and legal obligations to do so:
‘Justice Department lawyers told a federal judge that they don’t interpret the Supreme Court’s Thursday ruling — that the administration “facilitate” Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release — as obligating the administration to do anything more than adjust his immigration status to admit him if El Salvador’s government chooses to release him.’
They also argue that getting him back from El Salvador requires diplomacy with the president of El Salvador, and they rightly state that such diplomacy is under the purview (sole purview??) of the executive branch. So not only did convincing El Salvador to take a bunch of detained immigrants help the Trump administration with its housing issue because we don’t have enough prisons with enough cells for all the nonviolent illegal immigrants they want to round up, but it also gives them an excuse to send out anyone they want for any reason and to claim there isn’t anything the courts can order to force them to undo any wrongdoing that happens in the process.
For *now* it’s this man who was supposedly accidentally rounded up and shipped off. God help us when they start openly announcing that sending people without cause to this Salvadoran prison without any hearing and chance for defense was *on purpose.*

The above two are different cases.
Meanwhile the anti-1st Amendment round up and illegal detention/deportation continues.
US judge halts deportation of Turkish student at Tufts
Rubio's such a horrible person that he's proud of it.
Another bullshit illegal deportation attempt based on Government lies.
Now if the Democratic Politicians would actually get on board....

numbers conservatives should ban:
odd numbers. they're odd, and doesn't "odd" mean "queer"?
in particular, 1 (a hanger-on of multiplication that doesn't do a damn thing), and the abhorrent "sexy primes" (primes that differ from one another by six, e.g., 5 and 11; such numbers are unsuited for developing eyes, ears, and brains).
zero -- doesn't do anything in addition and is generally a mathematical welfare queen. also, can we, like, talk about what happens when you divide by it?
two -- it's even and a prime? what, that's like being a man and a woman or whatever the latest queer nonsense is! back in my day, we just persecuted out queer people, which was self-evidently better.
fibonacci numbers -- they keep showing up! it's a conspiracy by (((them)))!
also, fractions that contain odd numbers in the numerator or denominator, since odd numbers are queer. decimals don't make it any better.
mixed fractions, because they look different.
irrational numbers, because they just. keep. going.
imaginary numbers, because they won't integrate with the normal numbers nicely. c'mon, assimilate!
negative numbers, because everyone needs to be happy about this state of affairs all the time.
addition, for mocking christianity by using a cross (+).
anything containing the digit 4 in any way, shape, or form, because it also mocks christianity by containing a cross.
anything containing the digits 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, for being undocumented immigrants. roman numerals are okay though because they're white people numerals. cistercian numerals, being Christian, are even better.
factorials and exponents, for being parasitic by growing too fast and trying to take over other numbers.
the usage of "." in any way, shape or form, because it's called a period and children's minds shouldn't be exposed to menstruation yet
XII and any multiples of it or numbers containing it any way, shape, or form, as well as supporters of it, because we said so [CENSORED FOR REFERENCE TO MENSTRUATION] Objectors will be deported to ecuador [CENSORED FOR REFERENCE TO MENSTRUATION] If you believe someone you know is an XII-sympathizer, please call us at 202-456-1414 and we will "investigate" them and deport them if found to be so
