me internally:: the dgs2 japan dlc case can be seen as more than just filler and comedy relief. it shows everything in kazuma’s side which can be interesting since we’ve only ever been in ryuunosuke’s pov throughout the course of the two games. next, it actually reveals he’s far from perfect due to his pride and stubbornness in order to prove his worth, even if it results to his own guilt to auchi’s accusations. hes also shown to be hot headed and easily aggravated, and this can easily be traced back to 1-1 with the penalty dialogue. it almost seems like ryuu chose to ignore that part of him and portrays him as a perfect human being after his so called ‘death’. its compelling to think about, and i feel like there can be a lot to unpack there with how kazuma has always been

THIS EXACTLY!!!! in my personal headcanons they get married eventually, but it is in no way the typical amanormative mumbo jumbo. marriage doesn’t equal romantic feelings. marriage isn’t even the “next step” for a relationship! marriage can literally be two guys sharing a bank account because one of them keeps forgetting to ask for payment from clients. in fact edgeworth can still continue his regular oversea travels he doesn’t need to “adhere to the married life” or whatever the hell people expect out of a typical married couple IDK MAN i have a lot of opinions about this (for obvious reasons)

and the tags are exactly right. this doesn’t invalidate wrightworth at all! i said in my post’s original tags that a big issue with people shipping aspec characters isn’t the character themselves, but the fact that shippers often treat the characters like an allo individual. even though we are a spectrum and will have different experiences with attraction, i think i can say for sure none of us have ever had the typical Allo(tm) experience with feelings and dating. for example i headcanon edgeworth to be full aroace and he always just saw phoenix as an important person to him without the distinction of romantic or sexual or platonic or anything. the devotion is there! it doesn’t need to be any type of label! he can be dating or married and still aroace as ever!

i also said this in my tags, but please respect us and respect aspec characters, especially aromantic/aroace ones. anyone can headcanon what they want sure, but aspec people get so little recognition anywhere it would be just a tad bit disrespectful to ignore that for anything else. they can be in relationships, but it’ll inevitably be different than a typical allo/allo pairing. do some research when writing them. ask an aspec friend, or even an aspec writer! just please be understanding and respectful. if anyone made it to the end of this long ass infodump thank you and have a nice day

All because Edgeworth wasn't there to answer his questions and never returned his letters, which wouldn't have been a problem if Edgeworth hadn't moved to germany
