It was coined multiple times, just as metagender. Let me tell the definitions I know:

2017: Exogender: A gender which fades into another gender within a long period of time (months/years). A specific term for genderfluid.

2018: As I explained to my friends, like the term “exoskeleton,” which describes an animal with its skeleton on the outside (like lobsters) instead of on the inside (like humans), “exogender” describes my experience of (a)gender as such: on the outside I am strongly (and proudly) a woman, but on the inside I have no gender — I’m agender. This definition is uniquely tied to my experiences living as a (fat, brown-skinned) Black woman and, as such, it’s a term that — should others adopt it — should only be used by Black folks.

2019: A gender that is beyond gender; a non-existent gender; truly, it is not a gender, but simply a word to fill the gap. Not synonymous with agender, as for agender to exist, there must first be a Gender to be Not experienced by agender people. Similar to Praegender and Panengender.

2020: exogender - a fluid gender that is determined by visual appearance. for example, if someone who is exogender presents masculinely, then their gender is exoboy. if the same person chooses to present androgynously, then their gender becomes exononbinary or exoandrogynous.

2021: Exogender or psuedogender is a neurogender and/or xenogender under the exomyn umbrella specific to those in plural systems where one's gender is affected by their psuedomemories or exomemories. This can be in the following ways, or similar.

2023: Exogender is a gender described as being out of the binary and nonbinary like viewing all genders from the outside. An Exogender individual might feel outside of any labels in a way that can only be described as being another subset, and feeling left out from gender, like watching the earth from space.

hi again, i have a bit of time so i decided to come in to to see if anyone could help me. i’m in a bit of a crisis i guess? 

idk :// i’m not a part of the lgbtq+ community but i’ve been recently thinking about pronouns? i’m cis and use she/her but recently i’ve been kind of liking they/them alongside it?? like, i don’t mind if people only referred to me as she/her but they/them also makes me kind of happy? like on an online presence…like if someone said: “i thought their post was really funny!” like,,that makes me feel warm and happy inside?? (my hands were shaking typing that part but like yea idk idk i’m freaking out)

i don’t know if this is valid or anything like is this a form of gender identity?? i was researching a bit and the closest i thought it to be is pseudogender but even then idk if that’s right :/ can anyone help me? or am i overthinking it? i am definitely not nonbinary and i am still cis, i am still a girl..but i do like they/them pronouns. i hope i’m not offending anyone with this and idk if that can even be a thing once again i am an ally but not personally part of the community i’m sorry i’m trying my best. if someone could help me fine the correct label i would be so happy thank you :)

Heya, any way you can help me find a term for my gender?

I'm a man but also.. not really? It's not man + something else, or two genders at once, it's simply,, as if I was a copy of a man. Pseudo-man? I know pseudogender is a thing and different but you get what I'm saying.

I use paraboy already but it's not as correct as I'd like. Any gender you know that fits this?

I personally use the term proxvir, but I could probably find some more if that doesn’t fit

To be perfectly clear I have never actually consumed any ABO, only osmosised it (and even then I haven't put significant effort into doing so). But like, if I were to approach it seriously as a premise, I feel like the ideal way to handle it would be that betas are the "original" humans, and they're dying out, like, alphas and omegas (more omegas than alphas, because pseudogender imbalance) are replacing them year by year through a mix of more breeding and contagion. Kind of quasi-apocalyptic.

i know the betas are sort of central to the concept, like, its called a/b/o and stuff, etc etc, but i really dont get why the betas are even there. like...theyre just normal humans? like. it feels like this funny wacky sci fi concept with normal humans shoved in for...idk, the comfort of the reader? or something? like, does anyone give a shit about a/b pairings or b/o pairings? surely not. entirely unnecessary. maaaaaybe the point is so people arent immediately cateogrizable like, visually, because theres an ambiguous zone in the middle? still
