Apparently issues of NYX1 got shipped early...we may get spoilers next week

Yeah; mine will probably be late since I ordered the Jeehyung Lee variant… I have a regular copy also on my pull-list…but idk if the store I buy from will get it early.

I will probably get issue #3 late too, since I really wanted the Scott Forbes variant!

I did did order NYX on Comixology, mainly so I could review them… so hopefully my reviews will still be timely lol

But yeah- Hellion BETTER be in it…otherwise I am gonna be super pissed lol 😂🤣

What comics do you read weekly, or do you trade wait?

Well, single issues usually come out on a monthly rather than weekly basis...but to answer your question, I have a digital pull list of comics I subscribe to, because I don't have the space for physical copies of either trades or floppies.

Due to the way that Amazon has screwed up Comixology, my pull list is a bit of an odd mix of past, present, and future books (because of Marvel's shift to five-issue minis over ongoings, there's a lot of finished books on the list that haven't been formally cancelled by Amazon, and sometimes subscriptions break).

My current pull list includes:

Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain.

Dark X-Men.

Immortal Thor.

Immortal X-Men.

Jean Grey.

New Mutants.

Once & Future.

Realm of X.

Rogue & Gambit.

Sabertooth and the Exiles.

The Great British Bump-Off.

Waller vs. Wildstorm.

X Deaths/Lives of Wolverine.

X-Men.

X-Men: Before the Fall.

X-Men Red.

Uncanny Avengers.

And when Marvel finally gets its act together and lets me pre-order G.O.D.S, and Ms. Marvel: the New Mutant, I'll add those.

Also, I have Marvel Unlimited to catch anything that gets good reviews but that I don't want to do a specific pull for.

Wonder Woman 800!! we have been having problems getting our DC orders in at work they were sending us partial orders and things were missing here and there and this was one of them. So we finally got them in this week so yes Wonder Woman issue 800!!

Birds of Prey - The last issue artist change really threw off the momentum of this issue. My goodness was that art not up to snuff. Still intrigued on what's coming next.

Fantastic Four - I'm not gonna bother I am woefully behind. Gomez is on art and I usually like his stuff.

Fire & Ice - I am not a big JLI fan so I'm not surprised this series didn't hit for me. And to that one fan who absolutely hated this series from the jump: sucks to be you!

MMPR: The Return - Excited for this. Really keen on what AJJ has to say here.

Poison Ivy - Retelling and reexamining Ivy's origin is tricky, but we are nineteen issues into what was originally a six issue miniseries - it was bound to happen.

Shazam! - Ha! Space dinosaurs! Waid why are you leaving this title? Oh the things to come.

Feeling kinda weird, so I pumped this out quickly enough.

Alan Scott: Green Lantern #4 Avengers Inc. #5 Batman/Superman: World's Finest Annual (2024) Power Rangers Unlimited: The Morhpin Masters #1 Wolverine #42

Alan Scott - I can see why people got mad at issue two. I have to say and comparing it with the three Golden Age hero books that are coming out, this is one is the weakest in my opinion. I still like this book well enough, but it is lacking in some areas. Maybe I'm just not as compelled here as in other places. Another thing, what's with all the inkers all of sudden? Odd.

Avengers Inc. - Kinda miffed this series is ending. I feel Ewing needed more time to "cook" here. Will be fun to see what the payoff will be.

World's Finest - A jam-packed annual issue! I'm still enjoying World's Finest; I'm glad to have it.

Power Rangers Unlimited - The Morphin Masters as a concept is funny to me because it's based off one line in a particularly forgettable MMPR episode. Amazing what's been done to and with that concept. Excited to see Slayer here. Glad Parrot's got a co-writer, and I hope they reign him in.

Wolverine - Holy cow last issue was brutal. But good on Sabretooth on continuing traditions in spite of things.

Pretty decent week. Glad - for the most part - I'm caught up with things. I know Power Rangers is part of the event, but I'm just going into that regardless.

Day 1 on Snaktooth Island

i dont know why I got so into this redraw lol the idea just came to me and i spent 2 days on the thing. Also btw Shelda, Lizbert, Snorpy, Filbo, Gramble, Chandlo, Beffica and Cromdo are the characters with design changes everyone else is the same

The Justice League goes on a deep space mission with the Lanterns just as aliens try to take over the Watchtower.

Doctor Damian Home Alone’s the Watchtower.

Damian was finishing up some medical evaluations or synthesizing a new anesthetic/antidote on the Watchtower when the League left for their mission. He noticed the moment their communications got cut off from Earth and pulled the silent alarm that would alert the other civilian medical staff to rally at their assigned defensible locations. Next, he rattled off Batman’s codes for a lockdown and began the tried and true Batfam method of setting traps.

All of the equipment is in lockdown. He has sections of the tower where he’s shut off the gravity. When he’s able to with the internal sensors he begins scanning the aliens and finds out they’re sensitive to noise/light/temperature and wreaks havoc on the environmental controls. He sets trip wires and stun grenades and glue traps. Some doors are wide open and will automatically close and lock behind intruders. He leaves specific consoles active to determine what they’re looking for or what the plan is and then sends a power surge through it to electrocute them. He picks off the invaders one by one and runs a bioscan to synthesize an equivalent knockout gas to flood the tower.

Damian is the tower’s last line of defense.
