A few window/outside displays from Pull and Bear, New Balance, John Lewis, and Mango. The main colours at Christmas time that tend to appear in shop windows are, green, red, silver, white, black and gold from what I had seen in London. The idea to have something bright and sparkly grabs peoples attention and especially because we saw a lot of these stores at night, the bright lights do make you look, as the whole of Oxford street is lit up. The LED lights with the stars and the holographic boxes in Pull & Bear add more addition to the window display as a whole and different textures are used. The colour red is the most popular colour at Christmas time, and I love how Mango used a different shape of a Christmas tree to add dimension and structure rather than something simple. In New balance they also formatted a design full of red boxes to show off the shoes and because red is such a bold colour, it grabbed my attention immediately.
