For fun I did an Embark Pair Predictor for Luca x Marcie and Luca x Topaz.
All the puppies produced in either litter would just be black.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The health results are the same for either potential litter. Luca is a vWD carrier, so 50% of the puppies would be too in either litter. Marcie carries two copies of the CDDY variant so the entire litter would inherit one or two copies. Topaz carries one copy of the CDDY variant so half the litter would be clear and half would carry one copy. As they're mixes, both litters would have a COI <1%.
It would be so fun to be an actual breeder and use this for all your breeding prospects.

Note
I love Lorwolf but they have to start addressing long-term issues and suggestions. Current long-term bugs... - Broken Achievements (still standing, mirror mirror) - Broken Smelting (4 ore will not smelt when stoked if a gem was smelted prior, can be circumvented by dropping another ore) - Puppy Predictor (does not work with customs, which means you cannot check to see if you want to sex swap) - Icons (panda buns still swapped, green bamboo makes orange, red bamboo makes green) - Dark Overlay (random overlay that prevents further actions until refresh) - Companion Index being inaccurate (features consumed legendaries which have been confirmed will never be added) - Mole Market visual bug (when buying out a section, does not show as bought out until refresh) - "Does Eat Oats" (still encounterable even after quest completion) - Mobile Wolf Bio (cannot edit on mobile) - and probably a lot more Granted, some of these are smaller, and they have been fixing bugs. Gauntlet achievements prevent the final tier from being reached. Custom demo being broken fucks up one of the biggest aspects of the site (breeding). Dark Overlay is such a damn pain in the ass. And then there is the suggestion boards. Pointless. Still cannot sell more than 100 items at a time. Fishing is still the worst profession, but they've obviously been too concerned about cooking. Inability to sort wolves and search wolves in market and breeding. Inability to lock wolves. I wouldn't be surprised if the Murkwood event ends up being a reskinned Icerun event. Different apparel, sure, but the same gauntlet/arena thing. Same milestones, same pricing.

We hope everyone has been enjoying their summer so far. We're excited to bring you some new updates for the month of July! To start off, the achievement system's launch date has been set for Saturday, August 6th. After a few more weeks of testing and balancing, we look forward to unveiling this highly anticipated feature. To see a full list of everything that was updated recently, check out the Patch Notes.
What's new?
Poll Results & Roadmap Update
Refer-A-Friend Feature
Puppy/Bloodline Predictor
Tumblr media
New Profession Poll Results & Roadmap Update
Points have been tallied, Archaeology won the poll with an impressive 52% of votes! Players will be able to embark on a treasure hunt using the archaeology profession to unearth ancient artifacts and hidden rewards. As shown in the updated roadmap below, production is set to start the beginning of October:
Tumblr media
Additionally, coding work on the inventory vault mechanic will begin in December. Based on player feedback, we have decided to implement a vault feature independent from the banking profession. This vault will allow players to set aside precious items, providing a secure space within their den to store and safeguard their treasures.
The roadmap has been adjusted according to our ever-evolving development goals. Now that the Puppy Predictor and Forums revamp have been completed, the code team has adjusted their plans to include the new Archaeology profession and Inventory Vault projects. The Mole Market Revamp project has been extended to last through the month of August.
As a reminder, we still plan on implementing the other two professions in the poll (Banking and Ranger), but at a later stage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Refer-A-Friend Feature
We're very excited to unveil Lorwolf's brand new Refer-A-Friend feature - simply invite your friends to play Lorwolf and earn rewards!
How it works:
As of today, new users can add a referrer when registering for an account. Simply send your unique referral link to a friend and receive 100 Moonwater once they have created an account. Then, once your friend has achieved a total Companion level of 50 or higher, you can claim 1 Refer-A-Friend Companion. Please note that players cannot make referrals retroactively, i.e., those that have already registered for an account cannot add a referrer. The Refer-A-Friend section can be found on the Profile page.
Rewards:
Referrals automatically grant 100 Moonwater to both the referrer and the referee. To receive an Orthrus Companion, the referred player must achieve a total Companion level of 50 or above. After this requirement has been met, both players can claim one Refer-A-Friend Companion of their choice - the Wildtail, Eclipsed, or Rustfluff Orthrus. The Glintfire and Starlume versions may be claimed once the player has referred at least three people. All versions are soulbound and limited to 1 of each per account.
Tumblr media
Puppy/Bloodline Predictor
We're thrilled to share that our Wolf Demo has been given an exciting upgrade! In this enhanced version, players now have the ability to create new wolves, store their unique designs, and predict puppy genetics, including full color ranges.
How it works:
Save any of your Wolf Demo designs by clicking the green "Save Current" button. Saved designs can easily be re-loaded into the demo, or used in the Puppy Predictor. The Puppy Predictor allows players to input one male and one female wolf design to check for inbreeding and generate the pair's potential offspring including the color ranges and their genetic traits.
Speaking of puppies, the code team has enabled the use of specialty items on puppies due to popular demand. Puppies will now display on the wolf selection modal when selecting a specialty item to use.
We hope you have a blast using the new demo, and we invite you to share your designs with us and the community on social media by tagging @Lorwolf!

hello! I'm thinking about getting into denial for mental health purposes. I have a really bad case of post coital dysphoria and I've seen some people say that avoiding there ever being a "post coital" state is helpful for them, since its not a fast climax and ending, instead just a slow progression back to normal mindset. I'm getting off topic- what I wanna ask is if you've noticed any positive (or negative!) impacts on your mental health when it comes to denial. have you found it makes you generally happier or better at self control or etc etc etc? what's the mental aspect of it been like for you? ty either way and know that I do love your blog <3
hi friend!!
so, first of all, that sounds like a really cool idea. I can't speak for it's effectiveness bc I don't have PCD, but I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with that and sincerely hope denial helps you!
that said, and I've talked about this on here a good while ago, I had massive problems with sub drop before I figured out how to temper myself. if you're not doing denial as part of submission, you may not have to deal with this, but I have heard that pcd and drop share some pretty similar characteristics.
what may happen is that a few days of denial will go well. then you'll drop or have dysphoria. what worked for me was using a ruin to end off every prolonged edging session, but...I don't know if that works for pcd.
anyway: all these words to say I'm not an expert on your particular application of denial! in terms of mental health, tbh I have to say 2 things mainly:
1) it's kinda bad with my adhd if I'm not careful. I can hyperfocus and end up losing productive time, so I do have to be more conscious of time management, which I suppose is a benefit now that I've gotten the hang of it!
2) biggest positive effect has been making me feel more confident, sexy, and fulfilled as part of a partnership. I've talked about how it also tempered out my sex drive, and while I have to say again my owner never pressured me to fix my unpredictable libido, that was a source of low self esteem for me for awhile. the headspace of submission and puppy and fuzzy desperation is also a relief to stress and work life for me, more than an orgasm ever had been...chiefly bc when my libido is fluctuating, I don't feel like masturbating anyway lol.
so: for my particular lifestyle, identity as a sub, and issues surrounding sex...nothing but positives across the board! I think one of the biggest predictors for "success " for those experimenting with denial is a clear aim for what you want to get out of it. not only will it make your edging feel more purposeful, it also gives you an easy metric for whether denial is actually helping you meet the goals you're trying to meet.
I wish you all the best!

What to Do When your Dog Gets Hyper and Runs in circles and How to Treat it
Tumblr media
The term "zoomies" refers to the sudden bursts of energy and rapid, erratic running or play behavior that dogs sometimes exhibit. There are various reasons why dogs may experience the zoomies:
Release tension and anxiety: After a bath, dogs tend to zoom about a lot, which is probably their method of expelling nervous energy. Zoomies help dogs release that built-up tension when there's been some event that's happened and it was stressful or exciting, like taking a bath.
Playfulness: Zoomies often occur during play or in situations where the dog is feeling particularly playful. It's a way for them to express joy and excitement.
Happiness or Contentment : Some dogs exhibit the zoomies when they are feeling happy or content. It can be a spontaneous expression of their positive emotions.
Social Interaction: Dogs may engage in the zoomies when interacting with other dogs or humans. It can be a part of social play behavior, and they might invite others to join in the fun.
Stress Relief: In some cases, dogs may experience the zoomies as a way to relieve stress or anxiety. It can be a self-soothing behavior.
Nature and Instinct: Zoomies may have roots in a dog's natural instincts. In the wild, canines engage in quick bursts of activity to catch prey or avoid predators.
Aging and Youthfulness: Puppies are particularly known for their zoomies, but dogs of all ages can exhibit this behavior. Some older dogs may also experience sporadic bursts of energy.
Triggered by Specific Events: The zoomies can be triggered by specific events or stimuli, such as a bath, a visit to the veterinarian, or even getting a new toy.
Age: Although many people believe that zoomies are only associated with young dogs, older canines are also capable of acting out. Age isn't always a reliable predictor of zoomie behaviour. It all comes down to breed characteristics, play, and circumstances. While zoomies can happen to older dogs, younger puppies are more likely to experience them, usually during their witching hour. The National Canine Research Association of America defines the "witching hour" as your dog acting a little strangely, usually between the hours of five and eight in the morning.
Even though zoomies are usually harmless and a typical behavior of dogs, it's important to make sure that the surroundings is safe when they happen. Give your dog plenty of room to run around and play safely if they are prone to getting the zoomies. Be aware of any potential dangers or impediments in the vicinity. See a veterinarian to rule out any underlying health issues if your dog's behavior changes suddenly and significantly, or if your dog exhibits excessive zoomies along with other signs of discomfort.
Are Dog Zoomies’ Normal’?
The first time you witness your dog perform a zoomie, especially if you're a new dog owner, may come as a humorous surprise, but there's no need to be concerned. Dogs experiencing the zoomies is rather common.”Frenetic random activity periods" is the scientific word for the zoomies (FRAP). Zoomies are typically canines having fun and letting off steam. There are many different types of zoomies, and certain related behaviors are more socially acceptable than others. Zoomies are generally a positive thing, but you should keep a tight eye on your dog. For instance, your dog may require more dog training if they exhibit any of the following bad behaviors during a zoomie session.
Biting
Knocking things over
Chasing other dogs and ignoring your commands to stop
Chasing other dogs and not reading their signals to stop
Jumping on people
Chasing tails
Putting an end to zoomies is not as simple once they get going. Some might argue that they shouldn't be as they are natural releases of energy. Rather, the focus is on training your dog so that you can control their behavior before it gets out of control. For instance, training your dog to respond to calls in both high and low distraction environments. When a dog is playing, this will make it "an accessible behavior, and you may need to interrupt play." Another important strategy is to practice telling your dog when playtime is about to cease. At the conclusion of a play session, the phrase "enough" is frequently used to indicate that "we're done." However, once more, for the dog to understand, the repetitions must be established. If your dog has finished their zoomie but is still excited, try scattering some food on the ground for them to find. Simple nose work activities like this can help calm dogs.
How To Keep Your Dog Safe During Zoomies
The most important thing is that your pet and family are safe. So what can you do to help prevent hyper dogs from injuring themselves as they run and roll around? Here are some suggestions:
Check your outdoor surroundings. When your dog is going swiftly, obstacles like trees, holes, or uneven ground might hurt them. To help stop your dog from running off and hurting themselves, keep them leashed.
Work on recall: Practicing recall methods with your dog can help you control their zoomie mode behavior.
Dog-proof your home. All ages of zoomie-prone dogs are covered by this! Make sure all sharp edges and corners are covered, and make sure there are no loose carpets or rugs that could trip your dog.
Move them to a safe space. Move the dog to an area with carpeted floors if it starts to wander around the house on slick surfaces to provide it with stable ground. It is even better to take them outside to avoid them bumping into walls or furniture.
Get into a regular exercise routine. Take your dog on regular walks so they can burn off energy that way instead of zoomies.
Dog Zoomies: Takeaway
Zoomies can happen to dogs of any age or breed and are considered typical behavior. Zoomies are a sign that your dog is content because they were met in a particular way or that they need to release some energy. Providing dogs with chances to practice and "dog" species-specific behaviors can make many dogs happier on a daily basis. But sometimes zoomies aren't so great, especially if they're biting you. Seek advice and assistance from a certified, moral dog behavior specialist if you're worried about your dog's zoomies. Additionally, since zoomies can be challenging to record or show in real time, you might wish to discuss this behavior with an online dog trainer. The best part about dog training is that you can capture the moment and show it to your trainer in the most honest way. Most of the time, zoomies are a way for your dog to let go of some pent-up energy or to express joy, excitement, or love. Enjoying your dog and trying new things with them is an excellent way for them to let go of any pent-up energy. If your dog has done all the training and walks and is still running like a madman, know that your dog is probably feeling happier.

I thought the puppy predictor in the demo was supposed to tell you when Wolves are too closely related to breed???
I bought a wolf for a breeding pair because the demo looked fine/didn't say they were too closely related, but when I went to actually breed them it says they're too close and can't be bred.
Now I'm out 50ms because they're too closely related. Are you serious rn???

Puppy Weight Calculator | Gram Your Pup — Dog Weight Calculator
Tumblr media
Sex also can play a crucial role in determining puppy weight. Male dogs are often bigger and heavier than female canines of an equivalent breed. If you have a male puppy, your pup will presumably be larger than his mother if the daddy is of a comparable breed. If the daddy wasn’t much bigger, a female puppy could finish up being an equivalent size as her mother.
How much your puppy weighs as an adult will be influenced by his nutrition and activities. Dogs, like us, may gain weight. Obesity has significant health implications for dogs, even for humans. But with our Dog weight calculator, you can easily maintain the grams of the dog.
While neutering won’t improve your puppy’s total weight, it’ll make him more susceptible to becoming overweight if you do not adjust his diet. Because your puppy’s energy demands are reduced due to the drop in sex hormones, you’ll get to feed him less frequently. Remember to consult your local veterinarian before altering his food; bear in mind that if you neuter him before he’s a year old, he’s still developing and requires more calories than an adult dog of equivalent size.
How Weight Depends on Different Dog Breeds?
The time it takes for your puppy to achieve mature weight is decided on his overall size. Toy and tiny breeds will grow faster than massive breeds generally. Toy breeds can do adult weight as early as eight months, whereas the most important big breeds will grow until they’re two or three years old. Small, medium and giant breeds will all fall under an equivalent category. With Monkoodog’s Puppy Weight Calculator you can keep a good look at your pooch’s weight according to his breed and look out for abnormalities.
Tumblr media
Dog breeds are divided into five groups based on their size, but it should be kept in mind that sizes may overlap due to the mixing of breeds.
Toy
Small
Medium
Large
Giant
Get a mathematical estimate of how large your puppy will grow in a moment with monkoodog, supporting your puppy’s present age, weight, and breed; our puppy weight calculator forecasts his adult weight. Then, on an interactive graphic, you’ll watch his growth curve.

The mistake, [Dr. Lisa] Diamond told me, is to think habituation and boredom mean there is something wrong with you or your partner, or with your partnership. Or that there is nothing to be done. A strong predictor of desire in long-term relationships, she told me, is when couples make an effort to do something new together. “I’m not talking about just sex. It could be skydiving,” or taking a dance class, or going on a zip line. “When couples participate in new and thrilling activities together, they often report a resurgence of puppy love from seeing their partner at a new angle.”
