So I had an idea and I thought it would be fun to use polls to make a kind of choose your own adventure story. I write part of a fic and then leave it open ended and you guys help me decide what happens next.

Some prompts might be open for a day, others a week, depending on how much traction this gets. I don't know, I'm winging it. Let me know if you think it's a fun idea or if I'm just talking to myself here.

Okay, that's extremely random but I won't make another blog for one Rovinsky brain rot so here we go

AU where Kavinsky didn't kill himself and was still there when Ronan and Adam started dating

Ronan knows he shouldn't do this. He knows it won't help, more, it will for sure make everything worse. It's still not stopping him and he absolutely hates it about himself.

Another fight with Adam and the same old shit. Ronan truly loves Adam and that's the problem. They're fighting, as every couple does, and he's getting too mad but doesn't want to take it out on Adam. He cares too much to scream at him, to risk blowing up and hitting him. So he runs away.

Ronan knows it will hurt Adam hundred times more than his fist ever would.

But he cannot do any better.

He texts the number he blocked many times and unblocked after at most a few days when he needed something.

Ronan arrives at the farm first. Of course he does, it will be a miracle if the other boy won't be late. He cannot sit still so he leaves his car and starts walking in circles. Ronan hears the aggressive sound of Mitsubishi Evo but doesn't care enough to stop walking and greet.

"Catching up on weekly step rate, princess?" Kavinsky says instead of hello.

Ronan knows he wants to hit that guy, wipe that confident smirk off of his face. He's just unsure whether he should do that with his fists or lips.

"Fuck off" he grunts.

He's answered with a mean, half-fake laugh.

"You texted me, at midnight to see you. Could have been doing coke with Proko now, so spill, what did your lovely little Adam Parrish do this time?".

The worst thing is, Ronan can't even deny so he decides to focus on the question and grabs Kavinsky's shirt's collar and tugs him closer harshly.

"Keep his name out of your dirty mouth, K".

Kavinsky is sure Ronan's about to punch him but he won't flinch, it's not like he cares about bruising his jaw.

Instead, Ronan pulls him even closer and after another second he zeroes the distance between them, kissing Kavinsky.

The kiss is rough and mean, they bite and their teeth clash while they are fighting for dominance.

"Aww, you're getting softer, Lynch" Kavinsky coos, genuinely surprised. Usually kissing comes after at least some punching.

"I'm getting my mouth dirty" Ronan whispers, more to himself than to Kavinsky.

The other boy doesn't say anything to that, just holds up his hand with two yellow pills. Ronan doesn't thank him, never will, but swallow pills without second thoughts.

They are sitting on the roof of a half-destroyed Mitsubishi Evo, watching the sunrise. Both boys have a few hickeys more than five hours ago.

Ronan hates those marks. They make it so much more real. He couldn't lie to himself that it didn't happen, having evidence on his neck and stomach. Kavinsky enjoys marking toys as his and Ronan hasn't even argued.

"You know what's the worst?" Ronan's whisper sounds like a scream in the silence of the farm. Kavinsky is high enough for existential crisis "I know I will hate myself when I sober up. I know that. And I know he" Ronan doesn't dare to say Adam's name "will know what I did. He will be hurt but won't hate me. He won't leave me even though I'm living garbage that just makes his life messy."

Ronan stops and takes a joint from Kavinsky's mouth to take another hit.

"I know all of it. And I'm still here."

Kavinsky just lets him ramble, it's not the first time they have had that conversation. Kavinsky knows it's a really dark shade of morally grey but he's not the one to give a crap about Parrish's feelings. It's entertaining. Ronan is entertaining.

"It's just so much easier to be with you" Ronan continues, face covered in white smoke "It's easy because I don't give a shit about you, man. We can scream, we can make out, we can throw punches. And I'm not feeling guilty that I hurt you, that's an advantage even" he blows a few smoke circles in Kavinsky's face "I hate your gut, man. But I'm used to being around people I hate, hating myself. I always come back, hating myself more every time."

He always comes back.

I have never had this happen....a fic I loved... is gone. I don't know how this came up but my friend mentioned it and just. Wow. Flashback. We scoured our texts and have...

I enjoyed that life was given to the dream pack and Mathew. I made a comment that Matty was asking questions and not reading the room.

It was supposed to be a game and he couldn't see straight from where it spiraled into so much more. It was a joke. A bet. Kavinsky never expected to fall in love. Adam's fingertips traced the lettering of the tattoo on his chest where, even when he wasn't here, Ronan existed between them. A permanent fixture weaved into the very fabric of their lives. Inevitable. Fall in love, he corrected, again. [Or; Adam and Kavinsky make a bet to see who can seduce Ronan first. It goes about as well as one would expect.]

Works that are actually in progress;

Tell It To My Heart - Established Adam/Kavinsky take turns seducing an oblivious Ronan. A dash of smut, heaps of fluff, a pinch of angst, and a happy ending. I think I have five more chapters to finish for this one but it's soooo close to being done.

This choose-your-own-adventure fic wherein apparently Adam is not a prostitute but he is a serial killer. I might try to figure out a weekly update schedule for this one?

Please (And Thank You) - smut. Just nasty, graphic sex scenes one after another (with angst). I kind of forgot this fic existed so I want to come back to it. It's really fun to write.

Fics that are technically in progress but haven't yet escaped my notebook and made it onto my computer;

The Devil You Know - my FTH gift for @blithesea who asked for a fic where Adam sells his soul to the devil. The devil is Kavinsky. I love love love this concept but wasn't happy with my execution of it, so I want to play around with it and give it another go.

The Boyfriend Project - The year is 2012 and Ronan pretends to date Blue while fighting internalized homophobia and sleeping with local fuckboy Joseph Kavinsky. I started writing this when I got stuck on The Devil You Know and then I got busy and haven't touched it since 🙃

Pretty In Pink - follow-up to Hole For The Holidays where Ronan and Kavinsky run into each other in a bar and fuck nasty, but this time it's Valentine's Day. This will probably become a series. Every holiday is an excuse to write festive smut.

I promised @cabeswatercowboy forever ago that I would write this and then I DIDN'T, so this is the year. I am going to write it this year. I will. I swear I will.

Buddie smut!! - canon divergent fic of the kitchen scene where, instead of looking at houses, Eddie actually was watching porn. Buck is intrigued and horny about it.

Two questions 1. How does the Adam/Ronan/Kavinsky ship honestly work because I just don't get it or see it. Adam would hate Kavinsky so much!! 2. How do you reconcile what we know about Ronan, he's monogamous and solely in love with Adam, and then throw Kavinsky in their mix? It just doesn't make sense? Kavinsky is so obsessed with Ronan I doubt he'd share Ronan with him and Adam never liked Kavinsky to begin with so I don't get it!!!! Why not just pynch?? Kavinsky would make them so unhealthy:/

It's 10:35 pm and I am very tired and just saw this because I've been gone most of my day. I don't have the full spoons to actually give you a real answer so my answer right now is simply this:

"It's fucking hot." It's the middle of June, of course it's hot. It takes all the willpower Adam has not to roll his eyes at Ronan's complaints. "Don't you have an AC?"

"Can't afford it." Though Adam does his best not to sound ashamed, he does just the same.

Ronan's eyes roll for a minute, and his drawn-out, irritated groan echoes against the tight, cheap plaster walls of the apartment above St. Agnes.

Pursing his lips, Adam mirrors the sound, saying, "If it bothers you so much, go back to Monmouth. There's air-conditioning there."

"Don't wanna."

"Eloquent as always." With his drowsy Henrietta accent, sarcasm loses all its bite. Sitting up on the bed, Adam pitches his shirt off, flinging it across the room, where it joins a mounting pile in the corner. He'll have to get to the laundromat soon. "You talk like that, you really oughta be--"

"Parrish?"

Sighing, Adam twists to stare down at where Ronan is sprawled across the floor, atop a blanket to prevent splinters. They've both had enough to have learned their lesson by now about exposing skin to the worn wood. "What?"

"Your back."

For a long moment, Adam's words elude him. Then, slowly, stupidly, he asks, "What about it?"

Sitting up, Ronan reaches out with a strangely hesitant hand, trailing his fingertips along the still-red scratches decorating Adam's back. From his spot on the floor, he can only reach the lowest of them, just above where they dip into the waistband of Adam's jeans. "You're clawed to ribbons."

"Oh."

"Like you didn't notice." It almost sounds like an accusation.

When Ronan's fingers press against the welts, turning them white for a moment, Adam shivers, not unpleasantly, and Ronan jerks his hand back, brow furrowed, though Adam cannot see it.

"Who did this?"

"What's it matter?" Impudence. He learned the tone from Ronan. Who better to practice it on? "It felt good at the time."

Again, rougher: "Who did this to you, Adam?"

Christ, Adam. For Ronan to use his first name… Adam shakes his head, merely saying, "You'd kill him if you knew, and I'd really rather you didn't."

There are only two people Ronan can really imagine killing.

The first is Declan, but Ronan can't imagine Declan taking an interest in Adam. Adam isn't wealthy enough or female enough to catch Declan's attention. Besides, Declan is off with Girlfriend in D.C. at the moment.

The second-- Ronan's eyes widen for a moment before they meet Adam's, though Adam glances away quickly. "Kavinsky?" Adam's lack of an answer is an answer in and of itself. "You and K?"

"A time or two."

Heaving a great sigh, Ronan stands, settling at Adam's side on the bed, and saying, "He could really hurt you."

"Maybe I wanna be hurt." There's a surprising rawness in Adam's voice. Being hurt is what he's used to, after all. "What's it matter to you, anyway?" His eyes dart up to meet Ronan's then, blue on blue. "Are you jealous?"

Though the answer is slow in coming, Ronan says it just the same: "Very." He isn't a liar.
