Pyra Living Skinsuit TFTG

A commission I ordered from Leslie TG of me being consumed by a living Pyra skinsuit and being transformed into Pyra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It look a long time for the sketch to become a full image, so I decided to finish the image myself. I think I did a very good job myself, though of course the final version by leslie was obviously better. It's always been my dream to become Pyra ever since I first layed my eyes on her. She is my favorite fictional character of all time. I love her so much! I want to crawl into her skin so bad! I want her life! I want to become Pyra!

the "everybody check your eyebrows" localization change in xb2 when rex is reacting to pyra blasting a hole in a door is very funny, but honestly i am still very fond of how in jp he just kinda goes "wow pyra you're so strong :D" because the earnest enthusiasm with which he responds to her nearly torching dromarch is just. very funny and also cute.

and also ties into the general trend of rex always praising how strong she is or finding her powers to be this really positive aspect of her, while pyra herself is like inherently born to be someone who despises her own abilities.... it's cute... he sees the good in her that she refuses to see.....

I dont think id draw pyra and mythra with shulk unless its a commission, that's not where I really see an overlap in the xb1 and xb2 polycules u_u

i've avoided most xb3 spoilers, and while i know there's a fan theory/implication/confirmation to some extent that mio is nia's daughter but i think the funnier thing is that there's also an obvious connection between sena and brighid.

sure, mio and nia are pretty different characterisation wise but there's a lot more threads I can draw (especially given her other parents would be rex, pyra, and mythra); by contrast there's just something about the child of the xb2 cast's Token Serious People overflowing the seriousness and becoming the most cheerful one in xb3
