What's a term finding you may ask? Term or label finding is when you ask for some specific things you search regarding a label/term, can be genders, orientations, alterhuman, etc., and I make a recompilation where I take all what I find with the things you wanted and share it in one singular post

why did you create this blog?

there are many terms, but many of those terms dont apply to me. for example, terms like “plural” do not fit me, even though i myself would consider to have “parts”. I do not consider myself plural, nor do i consider myself endogenic in anyway possible. I made this blog for people to come together and learn more about the wonderous world of coining.

who is this blog aimed at?

qay and Qay are a problem. They look so similar. In these pIqaD systems we can see three approaches to distinguishing them: Nicholas and Zrajm make qay straighter and exaggerate the curve on Qay, Cheesbro makes the corner higher on qay and lower on Qay, and Discovery makes qay point straight down and Qay slanted. I went with the first approach.

So, I make qay with straight lines at a 90 degree angle and on Qay I make the lower half curved. And to distinguish it from pay I will keep the curve restrained and not let the top line be too short.

Such disagreement! On this one I turned to the Discovery font to figure out what’s going on. That led me to take Nicholas’s design and tweak it a little bit, so that the second line is going off the right instead of just crossing the first line. (Also, how does Roger Cheesbro distinguish his ray from his ghay? They look the same to me)

Say

What is the deal with this letter? It’s just a spiky blob that looks too much like ghay. And the Discovery design only creates more chaos. The reason I picked this one with the fun loops is that I’ve seen @sapphic-saavik use it for Say and she’s an actual artist, so her opinion counts a lot when it comes to design.
