New patch pants project plans!!!

I own these rain pants that have zip off shorts on them and lots of breathable pockets all over it. Its super comfortable on me and ive had them for years. The brand says QEAP X Q5ER. I dunno my mum just gave them to me years ago for when I would have school trips to rain forests. I never got rid of them even though they don't fit my style. I want to make them into my patch pants for the summer because my pink jeans and too hot have crotch hole issues and i cant dance comfortably in them and they ride too low on my waist. Im still going to wear them of course but currently i havent been wearing them much due to issues with them and keep going for my black strappy shorts instead so its clear those pants are reaching the age where they becoming less functional and more a fashion piece for me. Im not a crustpunk and im not going to pretend to be, i love starting new patch projects. Im excited to start these though >:33
