Music takes! Heroes edition
Ginnungagap- The sound of silence (take that as you will)
Veronica- kawaii metal, with the occasional gentle pop song here and there. Likes BABYMETAL the most.
Hel- the screams of souls being ripped from the world of the living
Eir- alternative music, stuff that’s relaxing but also makes you think about life. Enjoys Laufey and Jim Croce.
Fáfnir- He’s a rap enjoyer. But none of that glam rap garbage. He likes stuff that’s profound and cuts deep. Enjoys artists Coolio, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas, but his favorite has to be Lupe Fiasco. He gets pretty pissed off when someone assumes his favorite rapper is Eminem. Eminem does have some good lyrics but his voice is grating.
Dagr- mindless 80s rock slop, you know the kind rock fans think is *so* much more profound than pop music. Think Motley Crue. Yikes, blah, EW.
Ganglöt- only listens to instrumental pieces, preferably from the Romantic period. Favorite composers are Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Clara Schumann, and Giuseppe Verdi.
Askr-Any genre, he loves all of them! But if he had to pick, it would probably be disco music. Really enjoys The Bee Gees and Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Nerþuz- also an embarrassing disco fan, much like Askr. Likes Gloria Gaynor the most.
Fjorm and Hríd- basic bitches. They love Taylor Swift and Beyoncé (tw Taylor Swift🤮, tw Beyoncé🤮)
Helbindi- Jazz music and there's no contest. Ella Fitzgerald is his favorite, but he also likes Herbie Hancock and Louis Armstrong.
Zacharias- Likes a few different genres, mostly R&B, pop, and jazz. While he listens to a few different artists and bands, he has a "holy trinity" consisting of SWV, Adele, and Rihanna. Ships Rihanna and Adele.
Alfonse- he didn't have any particular interests until Sharena unintentionally got him into k-pop after overhearing a song she was listening to, and he's become a k-pop fan. He's the biggest fan of A.C.E., but likes several bands including Day6, Astro, Stray Kids, and SHINee. He writes tons of fanfiction and secretly uses the treasury to commission fanart.
Sharena- pretty versatile, but likes mostly pop music. She prefers girl bands the most and likes the dynamics. Her favorite things are filling out personality quizzes to see which girl she is. Any kinds from anywhere. Her favorite band is Katseye, though lately she’s been getting into Red Velvet.
Surtr- evil music, as in the people who perform the music are evil people. He goes out of his way to find the most problematic artists.

Natalie Leota Henderson Hinderas (June 15, 1927 – July 22, 1987) was a pianist, composer, and professor at Temple University.
She began playing at the age of three, with formal lessons (piano and violin) beginning at six years of age. A child prodigy, she gave her first full-length recital at eight years old.
She received her BS in Music from Oberlin Conservatory. Assuming the name Natalie Hinderas, she did her post-graduate work at the Juilliard School of Music and the Philadelphia Conservatory. She made her Town Hall debut, receiving critical acclaim. She toured America, Europe, and the West Indies; with two tours of Africa and Asia sponsored by the State Department.
She signed a contract with NBC to perform in their owned and operated stations around the US playing recitals, concertos, and variety shows. She was the first African American to perform a subscription concert with the Philadelphia Orchestra after which, many other concerts followed. Some of the other venues where she played are the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cleveland, Atlanta, New York, San Francisco, and Chicago Symphony Orchestras. Her performances included the Schumann Piano Concerto, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, and Rachmaninoff’s Concerto #2.
She promoted and recorded works by African American performers and composers, among them R. Nathaniel Dett, William Grant Still, John W. Work, and George Walker. She received several awards and degrees including the Martha Baird Rockefeller Fellowship and an honorary doctorate from Swarthmore College. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Bolstered by his knowledge, Champollion began to examine the copies of the three fragmentary inscriptions - hieroglyphic, demotic, and Greek - of the Rosetta Stone, which had been unearthed by French military engineers during their work in 1799 and named in honor of the place where it was discovered at Fort Rashid.
The slab of basalt stone, now in the British Museum in London, was soon to become the cornerstone of Egyptology. It came from a decree promulgated in 196 B.C.E. by Ptolemy V Epiphanes, and what made it so important was the presence of corresponding text, not only in Egyptian hieroglyphics, but in demotic writing, and also in Greek.
Champollion believed, in accordance with the hypothesis of Father Barthelemy, that the names of royalty were encircled in an oval shaped figure, called cartouche. Thus, in the hieroglyphic texts he was able to identify and translate, with the help of the Greek text, te name of Ptolemy.
Then, in 1815, Williams Bankes uncovered an obelisk on the island of Philae, which was inscribed in hieroglyphics ad on the base of which was the corresponding Greek equivalent. The Greek version contained the name of Ptolemy VIII Euergetes II, and his wife Cleopatra III. By comparing the cartouches containing the names of the two Ptolemies, Champollion was able to decipher with certainty the sounds p, t, o, l, i, m and s and to identify them with their corresponding hieroglyphic equivalents.
The cartouche containing the Queen's name gave him the letters k, a, d/t and r.
He applied these first rudiments of an alphabet to other royal names of foreign origin tat were written in Greek and hieroglyphics and was able to decipher such names as Alexander and Trajan : each new attempt at deciphering confirmed his interpretation. He was making progress, but had no solution to a whole host of alphabetics signs. His intuition was that they might have been word-signs or ideograms - signs representing several words, known as plurilateral, which represent the syllabic elements.
This was the major step forward that put him on the path that would lead to his great breakthrough.

Koguty były koloru kuropatwy, a kury złote. Srebrno-niebieskie w 1924 r., pręgowane i pomarańczowe w 1935 r. Od 1975 r. odmiany w kolorze porcelanowym były ponownie hodowane przez E. Imbergera, Frielendorf.
Długi, smukły, cylindryczny kształt z płynnymi liniami. Pełna klatka piersiowa i ramiona, zaokrąglony brzuch. Utrzymuj postawę ciała możliwie najbardziej poziomą. Dobrze wyprofilowany, lekko wznoszący się ogonek. Podstawa ogona kury jest również dość szeroka. Długi grzbiet lekko się unosi w siodle. Uda nadal widoczne, nogi średnio-wysokie. Dwa rodzaje grzebienia: grzebień pionowy z otaczającą go chorągiewką u kury; przypominające różyczkę, drobno perłowe, zwężające się ku tyłowi, z zapadniętym, niepodpierającym grzbietem. Niezbyt długie dzwonki, białe płatki uszu, czerwone oczy.
