just gonna get this out the way:

surprised there isn't any R.E.P.O g/t stuff out there.

the game has enough lore (or quasi-lore? implied lore?) to make a good angst story, especially involving your main "leader", the Taxman, and your purpose as a semibot. you got the minecraft smp folks playing it (popular in the g/t space from what i've seen; especially hermitcraft). countless mods exist for it, yet not a single one changes the players' sizes (just items). i mean, the whole "stealing things while avoiding monsters" works in tandem with borrowers and the likes.

think about some of the stories that can come from this. a borrower-esque entity (monsters? mutant humans? a variation on the semibots?) being accidentally captured by a semibot and just brought along for the ride, maybe even becomes freinds and sneeks them out of there. or the taxman actually having a physical form in the shape of a giant mechanical monstrosity, and a semibot seeing that side of them for the first time. maybe a group of semibots pick up a mysterious weapons/item/upgrade that changes their size, and in turn the dynamic between the group, the monsters, etc.

The Semibots are honestly an excellent artistic subject for me right now because they make me work on smooth lines and can be rendered as a shiny and scuffed metal surface, both things I want to improve!

I'm also having so much fun with this game- highly recommend to anyone who likes low to medium scary and infinite levels of goof.
