Shri Venkateshwara University launched the Venkateshwara Shooting Academy to promote shooting sports among rural youth.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute inaugurated the Venkateshwara Shooting Academy at its campus.

High-ranking police, & Administrative officials, along with sports coaches and players took part in the event.

They urged players of UP West to take advantage of this shooting range to enhance their shooting skills.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, SP Amroha Mr. Amit Kumar Anand, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by cutting ribbon and lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Farewell Ceremony Held at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Satna

On February 15, 2025, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Satna, held a farewell ceremony for the 8th-grade students, organized with respect and honor by the 7th-grade students. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the school's principal, Mr. Upvan Kumar Agrawal, and the 8th-grade students, followed by the traditional worship of the Guru.

The 8th-grade students presented various cultural programs, evoking feelings of belongingness and the sorrow of parting. The 7th-grade students organized several entertaining games in which all the 8th-grade students actively participated. These games included imitating friends, ramp walk, musical chair race, balloon race, and other fun activities. Divya Tripathi of the 8th grade performed a dance, and Ankita Gautam of the 8th grade sang a song, both receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.

8th-grade students Ragini Yadav, Divya Gautam, and Anshika Tiwari shared their experiences of their school life, bringing tears to everyone's eyes. 8th-grade students Kishan Garg, Naman Pratap Singh, Siddharth Dohar, and Shreyansh Mishra also spoke about their experiences, emphasizing that the development that occurs in the initial eight to ten years of a student's life leaves an indelible mark.

The grand farewell ceremony was meticulously organized by the 7th-grade students, with guidance from Mr. Rakesh Tiwari, the school's meditation teacher, and teacher Parul Tiwari. The program was successfully anchored by 7th-grade student Kriti Mishra and teacher Pushpa Yadav.

At the end of the ceremony, the school's principal, Mr. Upvan Kumar Agrawal, addressed the 8th-grade students, encouraging them to practice the Transcendental Meditation taught by the venerable Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for 15-20 minutes regularly to maintain mental and physical well-being. The entire school, including all students and staff, attended the event.

विदाई समारोह का शानदार आयोजन कक्षा 7वीं के छात्र छात्राओं द्वारा किया गया जिसमे विद्यालय के घ्यान शिक्षक श्री राकेश तिवारी एवं शिक्षिका पारुल तिवारी द्वारा किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन 7वीं की छात्रा कृति मिश्रा तथा शिक्षिका पुष्पा यादव द्वारा किया गया।

Shri Venkateshwara University and the state of UP emerged victorious in the National Baseball Championship 2023 at Bhopal.

It was a historic day for Shri Venkateshwara University and the state of UP as the UP baseball team, led by Dr. Sudhir Giri, President of UP Baseball Federation & Chairman Venkateshwara Group, emerged victorious in the National Baseball Championship 2023 at Bhopal.

The Uttar Pradesh Baseball team won the Gold medal & a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh by defeating Uttarakhand in the finals.

The UP team played well to outshine Chandigarh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh & Uttarakhand in the finals to clinch the National Baseball Championship 2023.

Emboldened by the win, Dr Sudhir Giri announced the Venkateshwara Group will offer cash prize and scholarships to the medal winning team at the upcoming International South Western league to be held at Mexico from September 02.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro chancellor Shri Venkateshwara University & the official representative of Dr Sudhir Giri elaborated that the UP team outclassed Haryana, Chhattisgarh & Punjab in league, quarter & semi-final matches respectively.

In the finals, UP defeated the defending champion Uttarakhand by 3-1 and for the first time became national champions.

He announced that the along with traditional sports like wrestling, Kabaddi & hockey, the Venkateshwara Group is providing a launching platform for various games and championships.

The Yoga for Youth Camp, which lasted for 14 days, ended today.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute concluded the 4 day (March 8-11) women’s excellence award ceremony 2024 with full fanfare and fervour.

The Venkateshwara Group organized the women’s excellence award ceremony 2024 to mark the International Women’s day on March 08.

Through street shows & poetry recitation, students depicted women's empowerment that made the event memorable.

The focus of the street play was the prohibition of female infanticide.

We honored 132 women achievers with a Patka, turban & a memento for doing exemplary work in their field.

The Hon’ble Founder President of Venkateshwara Group Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.  

The VC, Dr AK Shukla & the Registrar, Dr Piyush Pandey, joined them to unveil the women’s excellence award closing ceremony.

Dr. Sudhir Giri, the Founder President, highlighted that the President of India, Her Excellency Madam Draupadi Murmu, reinforces the fact that women hold top positions in India.

Through the honorable PM’s Bet Bachao - Beti Padhao–Beti Khilao & Nari Vandan schemes, the stature of women in our society has improved.

Women took on leadership roles and had prime seating during the 4-day women's excellence award function, as directed by the Founder President. While their male counterpart’s bolstered women's empowerment by assisting them & occupied back rows.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted through the honorable PM’s Bet Bachao - Beti Padhao–Beti Khilao & other women's empowerment schemes, the women are making their presence felt in every sphere.

Sakshi Malik, Nirmala Sitharaman, Late Kalpana Chawla, & Saina Nehwal are a testimony of this revolution.

Samajwadi MLA Thrashes BJP Leader's Husband In Police Station

According to Samajwadi Party MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh, Deepak Singh arrived at the police station and verbally abused him while he was sitting on a protest there.

Amethi: A police station in Uttar Pradesh played host to a brazen beatdown of a BJP leader's husband on Wednesday, with policemen struggling to overpower his attackers, including an MLA of the opposition Samajwadi Party.

Samajwadi Party legislator Rakesh Pratap Singh assaulted Deepak Singh, the husband of Rashmi Singh, a BJP municipal election candidate, inside the Gauriganj Kotwali police station in Amethi district, a video recorded by a witness showed.

The incident took place in front of dozens of policemen who struggled to keep Rakesh Pratap Singh and his supporters off Deepak Singh.

According to the Samajwadi Party leader, Deepak Singh arrived at the police station and verbally abused him while he was sitting on a protest there. This made him lose his temper, he said.

Rakesh Pratap Singh said he had been on protest because Deepak Singh and his supporters had assaulted some of his supporters, but the police had not taken any action.

In the midst of the protest, Deepak Singh arrived at the Gauriganj Kotwali police station and was heard loudly abusing the Samajwadi Party legislator and his supporters.

A senior police officer said the situation suddenly got out of hand and the police had little time to react when the two political opponents came face-to-face out of the blue.

The issue has now been resolved, and legal action will be taken against both individuals, with cases registered against them, he said.
