If you feel inspired, that is. But I feel like it could fit them. Maybe Chu Wanning once told him to keep his hands to himself, so Mo Ran obeys?

Mo Ran would 100% be down for dirty talk, which is definitely how I've interpreted this prompt.

A fox spirit! His shizun moans sounded so obscene, the other disciples genuinely believed they were about to become the victim to a yang seeking spirit. The thought of it continued to delight Mo Ran to no end. At least, it would’ve delighted him to no end, had Chu Wanning not decided to deprive him of yang energy himself. In the end, despite the way his body responded, his face was too thin. Now, Mo Ran would never hear such an enticing sound fall from his lips again. He could accept that Melodic Springs were out, but why did that mean touching his shizun within the confines of the Red Lotus Pavilion was forbidden too?

Sat in a chair watching Chu Wanning work, Mo Ran embodied a picture-perfect disciple, yet his mind was captivated by a slew of never ending lewd fantasies.

‘Wanning,’ he called out in a low voice, trying to steal Chu Wanning’s attention from the automaton he tinkered with. ‘Wanning, it’s been days! I don’t think anyone cares about the fox spirit anymore. We’re nowhere near the springs. Please?’

Chu Wanning set down his tools and shot a warning look at Mo Ran. He didn’t move or say no. It emboldened Mo Ran, he crossed the distance between them. Hands on Chu Wanning’s shoulders, he began to slide his outer robes from his shoulders with practised ease. Chu Wanning’s hand shot up and wrapped around Mo Ran’s wrist.

Holding him in place, he said, ‘Mo Weiyu, I told you to keep your hands to yourself.’

Mo Ran huffed, ‘That was days ago, haven’t I served my punishment? Don’t you want to come on my cock?’

Chu Wanning’s face instantly burned and turned a deep shade of red, ‘Another day for your impudence.’

‘Shizun, you’re really not playing fair,’ Mo Ran said.

He threw himself on the bed in defeat, blocking out the light with his forearm. It was a dramatic pose but did little to stir the desired response from Chu Wanning.

‘Feel free to return to your own quarters if it is too hard for you.’

‘It is hard!’ Mo Ran replied without thinking about the implication.

As soon as the word “hard” fell from Mo Ran’s mouth, Chu Wanning dropped his tools and turned to him, eyes fixed on his crotch. He’d meant difficult, but now a deliciously lewd idea began to form in his head. Mo Ran rolled onto his side, his robes overlapping, concealing any evidence of arousal. He propped his cheek on his hand and gazed at his shizun.

He shuffled across the mattress until his back hit the wall of the Red Lotus Pavilion. Chu Wanning joined him on the bed. Embarrassment seeped through his pores. He lay facing the opposite way to Mo Ran, leaving a distance wide as a gulf between them. Still, Mo Ran had the suspicion he was about to get exactly what he wanted. Tentatively, Mo Ran inched forward, his lips hovering millimetres from Chu Wanning’s ear.

‘Shall I tell you what I’m going to do to you when you finally allow me to touch you again?’

Chu Wanning gave a curt nod, so discrete that if Mo Ran hadn’t been paying attention, he might’ve missed it.

‘First, there’s these oils you can buy, I’m going to slick my fingers up, trace one around your hole and then, when you want me too, I’ll press one inside.’

Chu Wanning’s breath hitched and he shifted his hips against the mattress. It made Mo Ran want to press against him, to allow him to feel the effect he had on his body.

Currently reading: I’m finishing up a reread of Caitlin doughty’s From Here To Eternity. I’ve read it multiple times but it’s a comfort book for me. I like the way she writes. It’s familiar and entertaining and she weaves a lot of relative ideas back to other literature she’s read as a frame of reference for emotions and descriptions. I quite like it. T Kingfisher’s new book a house with good bones also dropped in my digital kindle library yesterday from preorder and I can not WAIT to start that. There’s something about how the mundane survives the incredible horrors through sheer perseverance and stubbornness about her protagonists that I love.

Currently watching: I haven’t picked anything new just yet! I finished love between fairy and devil a few weeks ago but haven’t decided on a new show. I keep meaning to finish new life begins but again… my attention span isn’t the greatest. I am watching the mandalorian now that the new season is releasing!

Currently craving: a nap!!!! I’ve not been feeling so hot today and I feel like a long, deep sleep would help. But I’m at work so :(.

He doesn’t know what the other person looks like, but Mo Ran imagines someone lean and austere and somewhat like his extremely rigid and uptight manager at work. However, said manager at work has a face that has been clearly blessed by his ancestors, and haunts Mo Ran’s dreams at night despite Mo Ran’s best attempts. Mo Ran does his best not to transpose that face onto the character he’s built for Xia Sini, mostly because Xia Sini kind of already reminds him of his manager.

A manager that Mo Ran, for the better part of the past year, has had a huge crush on.

Hi this might be random but I’ve been going crazy trying to find a specific ranwan fic and saw you read them too and was hoping you might know which one it is!

It was a modern AU where they’re dating and sharing an apartment and mo ran started off with chu wanning because it was a distraction for shi mei who left and chu wanning considers himself to be a substitute the entire time even though mo ran falls in love and when shi mei returns chu wanning thinks it’s time for him to leave so they can be happy and packs his stuff up.
