• Poli is the more dominant one in the relationship….mostly because Roy is too soft lol

• They’re always together in some way, and know almost everything about one another

• Roy insists on buying Poli gifts, but doesn’t like it when Poli gives him gifts in return

• Started dating around when they first started working as rescue team members. They kept it a secret for a while but eventually told the rest of the team.

• In my au they’re married 🫶

• They’ve always been interested in adopting a kid, but are too busy to take care of one. That, and they don’t want the townsfolk figuring out that they’re together.

• Both them are hella depressed in some way so they’re constantly trying to make the other happy

• Poli loves bugging Roy with terrible dad jokes. Especially when it’s some random point in the night and they both happen to be awake. (Very random too)

• Poli used to have common night terrors, but they now often share a room together, so Roy always is able to comfort Poli.

• Roy often takes Poli out to go stargazing. They usually end up falling asleep together though <3

• Poli is the only one who knows about Roy’s relationship with his family, and why they cut contacts. (I can give lore later if anyone wants to hear abt it)

• They love to cuddle. As much as they hate to admit it, they totally love it.

• In my au, due to past physical trauma, Poli has minor epilepsy and Roy is always there to comfort him. Usually his seizures are rare (and usually short/harmless), there are exceptions, which usually stresses Poli out. Roy is always determined to help Poli >w<

• Poli always begs Roy to teach him to cook whenever Roy is making something for dinner. Poli has always admired his cooking skills and Roy enjoys teaching him!

• Roy is always adding to Poli’s squishmallow collection. A solid 70% of them are from him, and Poli absolutely loves them all.

• Poli likes to take Roy on surprise dates. Whether they’re at the movies, a fancy restaurant, or just playing together outside, it’s always simple and fun. They both end up enjoying it at lot.

• Eirwen likes to cross stitch and sew. She has made winter clothing (ex: scarves and hats) and blankets

TALL AMBER. she's not outrageously taller than the others but the height difference is noticeable. i love tall women

and poli... short. short lil guy. not as much as helly of course but he's the shortest adult rescuer of the brt

roy's inbetween poli and amber, but leans on more of the taller side.

and helly's the shortest bcuz obv he's a kid

i think they like teasing eachother about eachothers' heights occasionally.

poli, being the second shortest, is unfortunate enough to be the most picked on. helly is a close second.

poli is all annoyed while roy and amber make jokes about him being the leader yet also being the shortest, or anything along those lines

imagine either poli or helly being made fun of by anyone of them that's taller than him, like one of them is just holding out something to that he wants high in the air but he can't reach it. like dangling a carrot on a stick

poli retorts and tries to make a snarky comeback as roy/amber laugh at his attempts at getting back at them. and his embarrassed expression.

helly is relatively the same but while he's all whiny he realises "wait i can just fly!" and the latter is either:

1. "ah, ah, ah, you still can't have it."

or

2. "oh yeah, fair point."

in both situations helly snatches the thing away and flies off

but let's be honest- jin takes the cake for being the shortest

Starting with least to possibly most:

Jin!

- was raised in a house that would tend to broken vehicles, yet her mother was a bit of a...✨bitch✨ who always had planned for Jin to be exactly like her: running the broomstown rescue team. Well she got what she wanted, yet jin was MUCH nicer than her mother. But that's a story for another time ;3

- she had a brother. Keyword "had". Her little brother whose name was Hendrix died due to neglect from her mother. How did he die exactly? Poison.

- Anyways happy hc now: even if she bickers with helly, she sees him as a sorta little brother. ( =>)

Alr, now Amber

- As I've mentioned before, she can throw syringes at someone pretty easily. She's done it before (by accident!) to helly-

Now, this one may be triggering but I'm sorry :(

- orphan. Why? Basically her family had her put in a "special" school. She had two sisters but that now is only a memory. Why? Well that school had smth bad happen to it: a uh, school shooting.

Anyways happy hc now-

- Loves baking for her and her friends or people she cares about!-

- Sometimes, he looks after the more "younger" residents if there's anything that comes up with their guardian(s) and takes them for a tour around the rescue station!

- gets dragged into chaos with Helly sometimes (either willingly because boredom or forcibly-)

- like some people, I hc him to be able to speak korean mostly because I think he was raised in Korea✨

And now Roy (who I actually don't have that much for but screw it✨)

- got taught korean by poli just to mess with the others because why not. (I'll let y'all decide what they talk about✨)

- knows other languages but prefers to stick with English :3

- if a STH show exists in their world, his favorite character would be knuckles (polis favorite would be sonic, helly's favorite is tails and Amy✨)

- Now, if you don't specify a thing your giving him isn't edible, he will immediately eat it. Don't ask why, he just does.

I don't know if you have read the fanfic, but Ebony, Poli and his brother were kinda close friends. This will be explored later in the fanfic, once I figure out how to start the third chapter. Oh, also Poli screwed up some past relationships.

I guess the ones i have are like Poli having a one-sided crush on Roy, Roy sees Poli as a nice friend tho

Another one is that Helly spent most of his childhood training for the rescue team that he didnt have much of a childhood which is why hes childish even at his age

Roy x Amber Headcanons! <3

Roy is more shy in the relationship than Amber, and Amber is more bold.

Amber is good at baking, and often bakes sweets and pastries for the team, especially Roy. (BAKER AMBER SUPREMACY!!)

Roy is sensitive to physical affection, and is quite shy when receiving or initiating it.

Amber is the total opposite, she shower him with affection every moment she can!

They go out on nature walks often, while holding hands.

Roy will usually pick off a pretty flower from the ground and give it to Amber! <3
