Robotnik does this to Stone.

Yes, the doctor does hit his agent, but that's usually a show of possession when he feels his place is threatened in Stone's life.

But behind closed doors, back in the privacy of the lab, Robotnik will get this burst of energy at seeing Stone do the most mundane shit. Like girls with cute aggression that just wanna bite something. So he'll stalk over to the other man and just go ham. Throwing so many air punches from all directions. None of them make contact. Nothing but a rush of air.

His form is terrible. Even if some of those hits were to land, it likely wouldn't hurt all that much, and Stone doesn't even twitch. He watches his doctor bob and weave like he's in a match. A grin on the older man's face. He spews playful taunts, goading Stone into action.

Stone holds back from participating. Not sure if engaging back in the play would be welcomed from the often skiddish doctor. So he stands, locking his muscles slightly and enjoys the attention.

And when the energy burns off and Robotnik is left somewhat confused about why he wanted to play fight his agent at all. That sudden burst of affection he felt melting into mortification. Well, a quick jab in the stomach to send the agent to his knees will make sure the message is sent.

"Left yourself open."

It wouldn't do Stone to look too deeply into that.

The soft glow of dawn crept through the curtains, casting gentle light on the room. The peaceful atmosphere was interrupted by the soft rustling of feathers as you shifted in your bed. You stretched lazily, the weight of your responsibilities pressing down on you as you glanced at the pile of study materials stacked nearby. Your upcoming test was just hours away, and it loomed over your mind like a storm waiting to break.

You sighed, rubbing your face with a tired hand, the flutter of your halo—gentle and bright—flickering faintly in the early morning light. You had been up late studying, and sleep had barely been enough to recharge your energy.

Just as you pushed yourself out of bed, a soft, familiar voice echoed from behind you, smooth and calm, with an unmistakable edge of mischief.

"My little songbird," Jing Yuan's deep voice coiled around you like a warm breeze. His presence was as calming as it was overwhelming, and in an instant, you felt strong hands pulling you back into the softness of the bed, a feather-light touch brushing against your ear. "Where do you think you're going?"

You tried to stifle a laugh, though the tension in your chest remained. "But, dear… I have to study for my test…!" you protested, feeling the weight of your responsibilities bear down on you once more. "I can't just… stay here."

Jing Yuan smirked, the gleam of his eyes twinkling as he nestled into the soft feathers that cascaded from behind your head. His arms wrapped around you effortlessly, holding you close as his warmth enveloped you, and the air around him seemed to hum with an unspoken understanding.

"There's no need to study when you can stay in bed and cuddle me," he murmured, his voice like a lullaby that made your heart skip a beat. His tone was calm, but there was a subtle, unspoken authority in his words—like he knew exactly how to make you forget everything else in the world. "You can rest and trust that everything will be alright. Besides, you've already proven yourself more than capable."

Your heart fluttered, your halo flickering like a tiny star in response to his words. It was hard to argue with him, especially when his presence was so undeniably comforting. Despite your nerves about the test, his embrace melted away your anxieties, replacing them with something far more precious: peace.

"Jing Yuan," you sighed, the words more a gentle surrender than a plea. You leaned back against his chest, allowing yourself to relax for just a moment, letting the worries fade into the background. "I don’t know how you do it. But... I could stay here forever."

He chuckled softly, his breath warm against your skin. "Good," he whispered, pressing a light kiss to your temple. "Then stay with me for a little longer. Let me take care of you, my little songbird."

For a long moment, you remained nestled in his embrace, the outside world forgotten. The weight of exams and responsibilities no longer seemed so heavy. With Jing Yuan by your side, even the most daunting challenges could be faced with a calm heart and a steady mind.

I like to think Hatake's sees hair as a sort of sign of affection. Like, anything with hair is a sign of affection to them.

Head pats, fondness. Brushing hair, close relationship. Doing your hair, you are their closest person.

Like, they see playing or caring for your hair as a sign of affection through caring for you.

To touch your hair is like a cautious sign of fondness to see the person's reaction to the touch. If they are positive they keep doing it until they can card their fingers through your hair. If you respond negatively they would be slower and respectfully of your space and ask you if it's fine to pat your hair or hover a hand over your head before you lean into it.

Playing with one's hair means that they are putting trust in the person that they won't ruin it nor that you will damage it. A show of trust that Hatakes take to see if they have any form of malice or tension based on the person who is playing with their hair seems to care for them. If they pull or tug harshly and keep doing it then it means you don't care for their well being. But if you apologize and learn to be more gentle then it shows that you are being considerate of the person.

Styling or doing one's hair is like the ultimate show of claim a Hatake can make on a person, letting someone touch or do their hair is the second stage of trust before they do it themselves to the person they care for. Because then it shows that you are allowing them to care for you and love you in a personal way. To let a Hatake do your hair, whether that's brushing it or doing a complicated style is a show of a claim or sorts.

Of course, a Hatake will judge you by how well they care for your hair. The best hair care is usually shiny or silky, even fluffy or soft on the claimed, and a well-cared-for Hatake can be seen in the same way.

I just thought of this as Kakashi doing Sakumos hair a lot into a simple ponytail since that was the only style he learned to do correctly and Sakumo always loved it. But when the mission happened and Kakashi was coming home less, Sakumo's hair became loose and unkept which he took as a sign his pack didn't care for him nor trust him anymore.

I imagine Kakashi seeing Sakumos body with his silver hair spread all over the floor when Sakumo cut chunks of it off before killing himself. The person who found Kakashi and Sakumo saw Kakashi brushing out the tangles of the messily cut hair on his dads dead body.

Then I like to think of how Kakashi would pat his student's heads from time to time and I smile.

If we go the Hatake Tobirama and Hashirama route I like to think Hashirama always had his long soft and shiny hair due to Tobi brushing it daily. Even styles it for important events or for practices. Tobirama use to have long hair to but saw how much his brother struggled with it so he cut it short to help him with caring for it. Hashirama was devastated and felt guilty so he would work to make plant oils like rosemary lavender or coconut and almond oils to make his brothers hair shiny and smooth.

I headcannon that N was constantly smacked around for so many years of his life that he grew somewhat to expect it when people around him grow angry. I talked about this with folks in the reblogs.

Often times he will try to skurt away from angry drones/drones using an angry sounding tone, even if it isn’t even directed at him.

Uzi tends to get angry quite a bit but he noticeably makes an effort to try and remain to calm her down. Despite staying he’s noticeably tense and scared, his tail tucking between his legs and his struggle to make eye contact. Uzi can read his fear riddled body language and makes it a point to remain at an arms length away from him so he feels more comfterble.

Sometimes she gets so mad she can’t stand it and turns to N to take her anger out on. But she dosen’t take her anger out on him like you would think. Instead of hitting or yelling she angrily hugs him, scrubs her fingers under his chin or on his head, giving him an aggressive back scratch, and kissing him all over his head and visor. N always finds himself flinching at first then quickly falling into purring, wagging his tail, and even kicking his foot. He really only kicks his foot when the back scratches start.

He’s not used to someone being angry but choosing to give him affection out of their anger, it confuses him as well but he’ll take it.

Uzi will also sometimes take a hold of the end of N’s tail and use the barb at the end to stab something and watch the acid dissolve it, often times being a discarded can or whatnot. She’s not hurting him so he honestly just lets her do it, helps her exorcise that destructive aggression she gets sometimes

My sister's been talking about this for a while ever since the Pope's health became worse, but one thing she's concerned about (and honestly a lot more progressive Catholics are concerned about in general) is who the next pope would be since honestly Francis was the most progressive pope we've had since forever.

He isn't perfect and honestly, I feel like he could've done more, but considering that he did recognize the failings of the previous popes in handling a lot of fucked up stuff in the church and even lifted the secrecy of investigations related to abuse cases and even lifted the restriction of needing Vatican approval before going to the police with criminal charges of members of the clergy is a huge leap ahead of his predecessors.

The fact that he also publicly apologized for some of the atrocities the Catholic Church has participated in or even led (including the church's participation in genocide), is actually remarkable and it's genuinely nerve-wracking to know who's next.

As a queer person in a Catholic family and a Catholic country, it's also extremely anxiety-inducing considering despite his bigoted opinions with regards to trans people, he was also outspoken about how queer members of the community shouldn't be ostracized and families shouldn't abandon their queer kids. Him simply saying "who am I to judge?" when asked about queer people was controversial to a lot of the more conservative members of the church but was a breath of fresh air to queer Catholics.

I don't know where I'm really going with this but with Pope Francis dead, I am nervous as hell about who the next pope would be and whether the church would continue to progress forward (even at a snail's pace) or regress backwards.

There is indeed Monster Alcohol; It differs how many other items infused with Magic are. Sometimes, depending on the Monster brewing said drinks, you can get some crazy or really helpful boosts/additions! But, you can also get some pretty bad ones along with it... Depends where one goes, truthfully! Or what AU one is in, I like to think~ (Guess DND rules apply here; I wished I was more into that world somewhat)

As for the Boys Favorites... I'm only going to do the boys I'm comfortable with;

Underswap; -Blue(Or Blitz) absolutely LOVES any type of human alcohol, but he does prefer beers over anything sweet. The larger the %, the better chance he'll get a hint of being tipsy. He can drink Monster Alcohol, just hates the perks that go with it while the Human version gives him no backlashes or the likes. Does he get tipsy off Monster Alcohol? A little quicker, sure... But man, something about those beers humans make tastes way better to him?? (Also likes the looks he gets- People think he'd be a sweet drinker or get those fancy drinks... Hell no, give him some shots, even. Dude's hardcore in the alcohol area... Just has to hide it.) -Stretch/Honey(Or Hal) doesn't like anything with alcohol in any aspects. Says no matter how small the % is, he can still smell and taste the alcohol within it. He'll only drink if it's a celebration- But will split it with someone. (He ends up giving practically the whole thing to whoever he's 'sharing' with...)

Swapfell Red; -Mutt(Russell) actually can handle Monster Alcohol WAY better than he can with Human Alcohol... To this day, he still doesn't understand WHY he can't handle the Human drinks?? But, despite easily getting drunk; Least it's a quick way if he wants to get hammered and get out of his foul mood quick. Yeah, he's going to be a crab the next day due to a horrible hangover; Maybe out for 2 days; But... He's also hasn't drank any Monster Alcohol primarily due to his ex, regrettably, having the best alcohol he's ever had and since breaking up with her-(Muffet in his AU, she's made one hell of a brew that has a high addiction level he's had to wean himself off back in the day)- He's really hated other alcohol any other monster has brewed. 'don't taste right' he says... But, he'll still down whatever alcohol is put in front of him; Be it Monster or Human type, and he's not picky at all with what he gets. -Black(Regal) is the Monster Wine drinker of the bunch; However, he will ONLY get it from one of his own members of his world. He has ironically a close-nit relationship with his Gillby, who just so happens to have specially made Wine just for him. It depends on the time of month; But he really enjoys the Mulberry Wine or Chokeberry Wine the best.

Swapfell Purple; -Gray(Nutty) actually doesn't get drunk to any of the alcohol types! He doesn't like the flavors much, unless it's got that hidden alcohol and he's just going to drink it like juice... Or if someone bets him they could out drink him- Dude's going to have fun watching that! But he's also has one hell of a type of ability to tell what's in a drink by scent alone... (That helped him not get drugged in his own AU back in the day; He does love to tell others what's in the drink, too! Nice party trick!) -Slick(Cash/Ghost) is the one who drinks constantly; Morning, lunch, and evening, dude will always have some type of alcohol in his clutches. Doesn't care what it is, so long as it helps his thirst-.... For a little bit. (He's super gross with it sometimes, too- Drinks old beers if he's short on cash.)
