on the topic of reportrait i used to have a mixed relationship with it but it inevitably grew on me bc. various reasons so now im <333 reportrait. conclusion we're both based as fuck

Thinking about Qui's "voice" is fun anyway! Being a Kallidahin they don't possess vocal chords (besides a few Kallidahin individuals, such as Be) and therefore aren't able to speak vocal languages such as Basic.

Instead, especially being not around other Kallidahin (who communicate thelepathically) Qui uses a datapad and text-to-speech. They often add emojis to their sentences (their favourite is "✨" and ";)") for their own amusement.

Now, their text-to-speech datapad has a default voice BUT, as mentioned above, they also like playing around with other people's recorded voices, especially people who they meet regularly.

So by now, Qui has a wide reportrait of different voices and sayings and words they recorded from other people.

Qui commits voice theft by recording you saying hello and everytime you enter their office you're greeted by your own voice saying hello
